Who do you think you are? Now, we have all probably been asked that question with a little anger behind it, but actually, I'm asking you that important question as it pertains to your standing in the kingdom of God. He sent His son to die for us. That should tell us how much God values each of us. Our scripture for today is the second chapter of First John.
As we look around us we see a world in decay. From a spiritual and moral perspective we are going down the drain. And even for Christians, it is quite easy to get caught in the current. So, today pastor Lloyd will share some things we need to be cautious about, as we set some firm spiritual objectives to not only grow, but to prosper in these turbulent times.

Today pastor Lloyd is going to continue a message titled “Spiritual Cautions and Objectives”, and he will ask us to consider who we are in Christ, and what the bible says about who we are. First of all, we should all know just how valuable we are to God.

Week 1 of "Living the Dream"
God's good news is so good that we can scarely believe it! It is easy to bask in the theological thoughts and principles but the Bible is always practical and brings us back to earth and how we are to live. John states it in the negative - Do not love the world. The world is always calling for Christians to return to its love. It is tempting and the call of the world can sound sweet. But it is antithetical to God-love, it is temporary and valueless. You will eventually become like that which you love. God, who is love, is Who we want to become like so we learn to live out our lives in God-love rather than world-love.

1 John 2:15-17 What are you pursuing? Is it of God or of the world? The world is temporary and will pass away but God's words never will.
