Our “C” word this week is Confidence, which in the C You In The Major Leagues vernacular means someone who accepts constructive criticism, will try something new and has a positive attitude. This week's guest certainly fits that. You see, this week's guest is Craig Donaldson, who has held a wide array of leadership roles around the world. I first met him in about 2015 while he was working for DST Systems here in Kansas City. He and his wife Cheryl have been longtime supporters of C You In The Major Leagues, for which we are tremendously grateful.Craig Donaldson has spent the majority of his career on the legal side of things. With DST Systems, he was vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer, and he launched DST's inaugural global ethics and compliance program. He then moved to Charleston, South Carolina and did the same as head of compliance and ethics for Volvo Cars Americas.Craig got his undergraduate degree from UCLA, his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and did graduate work at Fuller Theological Seminary. He was with Young Life in Austria and Hungary -- Vienna is one of my favorite places on the planet, so we may get into that -- he's been vice president of Splenda. And, after some changes at Volvo, he became the Southeast Director of the in-house counsel team for Major, Lindsey & Africa, which is a legal executive search firm.LINKS:For more information about the C-10 Mentoring & Leadership program for high school students, visit our website. To make a financial gift to give students life-changing one-on-one mentoring, visit our secure donation page. For all episodes of the C-10 podcast and ways you can listen, click here.If you'd like to make a comment, have a suggestion for a future guest, or your company would like to help underwrite this podcast, please visit our contact page.
