Joe Biden wants you to think his real name is “Jose.” The Exaggerator in Chief, who is white as the driven snow and grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania, is trying to convince you he was “raised by the Puerto Rican community.” That and other woke, liberal hypocrisy and lies are exposed in this edition of … Continue reading America's First Puerto Rican President → The post America's First Puerto Rican President appeared first on The Financial Guys Podcast.
Sol Kumin has spent his career in the financial services industry, and is a thoroughbred racehorse owner and philanthropist. A graduate of Johns Hopkins, he began his career in finance at Lazard Asset Management and then Sanford C. Bernstein. In 2005, he joined SAC Capital as managing director and was later chief operating officer. At the end of 2014, he founded hedge fund Folger Hill Asset Management with more than $1 billion from investors, serving as CEO until 2018 when the firm was merged with Schonfeld Strategic Investors. He added the role of chief strategy officer for Leucadia Asset Management LLC and is currently the firm’s co-president. Sol bought his first filly in 2014 and has rapidly become one of the most successful racehorse owners in the US, including Preakness winner Exaggerator, Triple Crown winner Justify, Travers winner Catholic Boy and champion fillies Lady Eli, Monomoy Girl, Midnight Bisou, Uni and British Idiom. In this in-depth interview, he talks about the lasting influence of his first job out of college, describes his experience running Folger Hill Asset Management and explains the business focus and practicality he has brought to owning a high-performing stable of prize-winning horses.
You like this friend quite a lot! That is, until a few mistruths start showing up in her narrative. Is she trying to keep up with you? Is this a red flag? Should you care as much as you do? The Ladies discuss, and Joss confesses to the depths she'll sink (or perhaps rise) to living in a house full of boxes post-move. Also, why does car driven by Kristan's mom's have fur in the grille?
It’s the #SexOnKava Season 3 premiere and we’re talking to comedian Mike Sowa, who recently celebrated one year sober (after his impromptu “intervention” a year ago on Sex on Kava)! We talk about other addictions, and Rich Kennedy tells us about the old days of porn, while Ethan talks about his resentments toward people who tell him he shouldn’t talk about AA onstage. Then, speaking of sobriety, we’re talking to the one and only William “The Exxxaggerator” Ashley! Jackie’s out, so William will “read” us a news story, tell us about his Grindr problems, and the death of Eddie Murphy’s brother, Freddie Murphy. Also, he’s got some patriotic songs! Don’t miss the insanity, right here, right now!
Momentum is hard to describe, but easy to identify. Momentum makes everything look bigger and brighter when working for you, and makes everything twice a difficult when it's working against you. Your business is much the same way. Every small win, every accomplishment, every positive decision creates momentum.
Chris Pipito, jockey agent for Angel Cruz, discusses the win for Dancing Rags in the Alcibiades, plus Peter Thomas Fornatale, Mike Hogan, and Jonathon Kinchen discuss the big stories from the weekend, such as Tepin's loss, Miss Temple City's win, the return to the winner's circle for Lady Eli, the retirement of Exaggerator, and more.

The Travers Stakes attracted 14 entrants with the three-year-old male division's lone three-time Grade 1 winner this season leading the group in Santa Anita Derby-Preakness-Haskell winner Exagerrator. The only other Grade 1 winner in the field is Arkansas Derby-Belmont Stakes hero Creator, but the lack of Grade 1 success by the other 12 does not mean that can't happen at the Graveyard of Champions. When it comes to the top the names from the first half of the year there are these nine and everyone else: Beholder, California Chrome, Exaggerator, Flintshire, Frosted, Melatonin, Nyquist, Songbird, and Tepin. Depending on their paths in the second half of the year, any could be in prime striking distance for Horse of the Year honors with the Breeders' Cup Classic potentially being the deciding race. Vance Hanson mentions discusses Beholder and Nyquist's fist half campaign while Ed DeRosa touches on Tepin and California Chrome. Who will meet and when and where? Will Songbird challenge the top in her division? Stay tuned!

Exaggerator (Preakness), Creator (Belmont), Tom's Ready (Woody Stephens), Gun Runner (Matt Winn), and Mo Tom (Ohio Derby) have each won their next race following the Kentucky Derby with Nyquist (third in the Preakness) and Destin (second in the Belmont) performing admirably as well. Why has this year's race been so productive so quickly? Ed DeRosa & Vance Hanson advance their theories while acknowledging the classic winners (Nyquist, Exaggerator, and Creator) as leaders of the division and wondering whether Songbird will face males (or even Beholder) this year.

Not much debate this week, as both Ed & Vance agree that Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist is the three-year-old male division leader following Creator's Belmont Stakes victory to join Preakenss Stakes winner Exaggerator as this year's classic winners. The Brisnet.com duo also discusses Frosted's Met Mile, wondering if he can replicate that form around two turns, as well as turf stars Flintshire and Tepin.

Nyquist already won the battle between (previously) unbeatens when he defeated Mohaymen in the Florida Derby, but he's winning the class battle, too, as two horses Nyquist had previously beaten--Exaggerator and Brody's Cause--both won Kentucky Derby Championship Series races on April 9. Ed DeRosa and James Scully both expect big things from Exaggerator. For FREE Kentucky Derby PPs from Brisnet.com, CLICK HERE.
