Now that the 2025 NFL Draft has concluded, we can put all the incoming rookies together and rank them for our fantasy football purposes. Jeff Mans goes over his rookie rankings position by position and reveals the players he is higher and lower on than most other players. Jeff also discusses the importance of remaining true to your convictions and reminds us that in fantasy sports, DFS, and sports betting, we are competing against other people to get the results that we want. So, it does not make much sense to try to play the same game as our competitors. Although it is a thin QB class, there is one later-round quarterback that could wind up being the best of the group. At RB, Mans cannot believe that Sean Payton's selection to lead his Broncos is not getting more attention in fantasy football. He ponders what Jaguars WR Travis Hunter's value is as “only” a receiver and whether he is being over-drafted because of his name and draft stock. Jeff pleads not to go all in on another tight end despite a pair of them being drafted high this season. Remember to check out FantasyGuru.com for all of Jeff Mans' rankings and projections. A very special One Mans Opinion this week as this episode will also be simulcast on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio on Thanksgiving Day! In this TWO-HOUR episode, Mans gives out the best rest-of-season schedules for QB, RB, WR & TE from a fantasy football point of view. This information helps us get our lineups set for the upcoming fantasy football playoffs. Then he provides the best WR coverage matchups for week 13 per the SMASH Report on Fantasy Guru dot com, which includes a very familiar CB that we are attacking once again this week. Mans breaks down the best offensive line versus defensive front matchups, too, which gives us a good indication of running back success for the week ahead. After back to back winning weeks in daily fantasy football, Jeff gives a preview of his DFS NFL Core 4 that will be revealed on Friday's Elite Sports Show and also in his Cash Game Breakdown on Fantasy Guru. As always, he provides his favorite bet for Thursday Night Football between the Dolphins and Packers, including two bonus bets this week. Since there is a Friday NFL game as well, Mans also gives out his single-game parlay for the Raiders/Chiefs game this week. Finally, he caps off this show with a special edition of Ask Mans Anything, where he fields AMA questions from his Discord, and the questions get…very personal this time around.

His first-ever ladder bet went amazingly well as Jeff Mans said with his chest that Juju Smith-Schuster would become the Chiefs' new Rashee Rice, and that was exactly what happened. Those weren't the only profits either, as week five proved to be a massive betting week for Mans and the crew at Fantasy Guru dot com. Jeff recaps the week, including his thoughts on the Jets firing of Robert Saleh, the state of the Maimi Dolphins, Kareem Hunt's breakout, and which wide receivers may be on the move. He also reveals which NFL team backfields have scored the most fantasy points so far this season, including the share of touches and points that have been going to which running back. As always, Jeff gives out his top 10 waiver wire pickups for week six (Hunt and Juju were the top two last week!) and provides a few buy-low candidates in fantasy football right now. Then it is time for the week six survivor pick and his Thursday Night bet of the week from the 49ers/Seahawks contest. Draft season is entirely upon us, and Jeff Mans is here to make it go as smoothly as possible. The first order of business this week is addressing the ongoing holdouts of superstar wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and Ja'Marr Chase. Is it time to drop these two premium players in our rankings? Mans answers that question directly and questions whether lowering any player “a few spots” actually matters. Then, it is time to discuss some of the players that are moving up in his rankings as a result of a strong training camp, preseason showing, or matter of circumstance. One player has shown so well that he expanded the entire top tier of his position group, according to Jeff's latest rankings on Fantasy Guru dot com. After that, it is time to tackle the late rounds (round 10+, 120+ overall), and Mans gives out 10 players that he is targeting here with in-depth reasons for each. Finally, he has another 10 players who are only being drafted in the deepest of leagues, which we need to keep our eyes on, including two receivers who will likely be the #2 on their teams early in the season. The episode everyone was waiting for has finally arrived! This week, Jeff Mans announces his “all-in” player of the year and gives him a nickname that is familiar to you if you are a late 90s comedy movie fan. The “code word” player this year is a late-round wide receiver who finds himself in one of the most profitable spots in the NFL, yet he still holds an ADP of 120+. Jeff provides the entire reasoning for why he chose this player and gives out the entire list of candidates who were vying for this spot here in 2024. Mans also gives out some NFL preseason week one takeaways, injury updates, and his thoughts on the never-ending Brandon Aiyuk trade rumors. Remember that Fantasy Football Training Camp is coming up on August 16th and will be the biggest virtual event of the fantasy football season exclusively on Fantasy Guru dot com. Denton Day is in for Kevin Sheehan today and he starts off talking about controversy at the Olympics. Then he shifts focus to last night's Hall of Fame Game to kick off the NFL preseason, the first time we've seen the new kickoff rules in the NFL. Guests include Justin Fensterman of Fantasy Guru who prepares us for our fantasy drafts and Ben Standig who reports from Commanders training camp.
The tables have turned on Jeff Mans this week as he invites “man of the people” Rich Maletto in to conduct an "anything-goes" interview with the Mans himself. Part two includes Jeff's college years, the end of his athletic career, and the beginning of his business career. The guys discuss lessons and advice they would offer to their younger selves and why being overly competitive can lead to misery. Rich asks Jeff about the decision to get into the fantasy sports industry, making the move to Guru Elite and then taking over at Fantasy Guru. This part even includes the background of how Jeff Mans breaks down NFL coaches and what led him to the realization that this had the impact that it does. It's a huge episode this week, and Jeff Mans tackles several very important topics. First off, Mans gives a breakdown of his first few picks of the Scott Fish Bowl 14 league draft, including a pair of really tough decisions between premium players on the round 1-2 turn. That decision actually leads to a bigger conversation regarding Jets QB Aaron Rodgers and his tendency to throw super short TD passes. This inspired Mans to do a research project on all 32 NFL starting QBs and their average depth per TD pass. These results were pretty surprising and helped us make decisions regarding some elite-caliber wide receivers this season. Then Jeff reveals his 2024 fantasy football rankings by position and in tiers of where they should be targeted in our drafts. Mans also gives us a preview of his 2024 NFL coaching breakdowns that are live on Fantasy Guru dot com this week and offers some players to keep our eyes on this summer. It is officially Draft Guide season over at Fantasy Guru dot com, and this episode is painted with the 2024 fantasy football landscape. Before he dives into the early trends of 2024, though, Mans is fired up over the copious amounts of fake news that is fooling people on social media. From Harrison Butker's jersey sales to Caleb Williams being benched in practice, the rumors are starting to win, and that is really troubling. Jeff announces some of the new and improved features for the 2024 Fantasy Football Draft Guide at Fantasy Guru dot com this year and discusses some of the trends that are behind this new content. He also illustrates how the current ADP and historical results of point scorers do not add up. For example, there are currently 30 wide receivers being drafted in the top 50 of overall picks in fantasy football. But there have never been more than 20 receivers to score in the top 50 of points ever. So, Mans tells us how to sharpen those positional swords before we are drafting dead this year. He also goes over his entire scorecard of 2024 Bold Predictions, which is a part of the Draft Guide. Jeff discusses why he decided on his surprise teams, players, targets and busts to finish off this episode. Remember to like, favorite, comment, and subscribe!!

Jeff Mans has a lot to say this week on the Kansas City Chiefs postgame outbursts saying that a penalty shouldn't be called despite it being obvious to everybody in the building. He also dives into the topic of why there aren't repercussions against sports analysts when they get something so profoundly wrong such as the Josh Dobbs QB1 story. With transparency being crucial to this show, Jeff reflects on his best and worst calls from the 2023 NFL season so far including a look back at his fantasy football “MANS-ifesto” draft plan. These teams will surprise you but they are documented over on Fantasy Guru for your viewing pleasure. Jeff Mans is fresh off of the plane from attending the 2023 Fantasy Football Expo in Canton, Ohio this week and he has plenty of tea to spill. Between all of the old and new faces he talked with to the incredible effort of Bob Lung and his team to pull this event off, Jeff gives a behind the scenes look at what he believes is the best fantasy sports event of the year. There is plenty of fantasy football in this episode too as Mans discusses the recent signings of Ezekiel Elliott with the Patriots and Dalvin Cook with the Jets and gives his updated running back rankings as a result. We welcome the listeners of SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio as this episode will be simulcast on the channel this week! In this episode Jeff Mans breaks down his complete list of players he is fading in fantasy football this season. He discusses why most of us have to be selective in the players we choose to invest in and why the fear of missing out leads many to do more leagues than they are truly capable of managing. Jeff uses analytics, new systems, new teams, new quarterbacks, regression, and some pure gut calls for his do not draft list this year. These are not only late round players nobody cares about either. Most of the list will sting you to hear their names called but the reasoning is sound and Mans is prepared to live with these decisions. Let him know if you agree or disagree on Twitter or in the FantasyGuru.com discord.

He has mastered the art of identifying schemes and matchup advantages especially when it comes to fantasy football and betting. On this episode Mans gives you one (or sometimes 12) nuggets from all 32 NFL teams that he uncovered in doing his research this season. You will learn about a few star players who are about to be disappointments this season. You will identify several breakout players for the 2023 season. You will learn things such as why Sean McVay's offense isn't what it used to be and why we must forget everything that we thought we knew about Tampa Bay offense. This episode is full of useful information that you will not find in any other source other than right here and at FantasyGuru.com.
Jeff Mans survived a disastrous “vacation” to the east coast during one of the biggest storms ever and is back to tell the tale. After a lesson in finding the positives in everything, Mans gives some updates on the sale of Fantasy Guru and what they have prepared for the upcoming NFL season. He laughs at the outrage over Twitter's limitations and wonders why we are all so reliant on social media in the first place? While on vacation, Jeff did several large fantasy football research projects that he begins unveiling on this episode. Here he reviews the top 100 fantasy football player performances since 2010 and breaks it all down by player, team, age, position, year and point total. In every step, we learn something valuable that we can apply to the 2023 season which gives us a big advantage over the opposition. Winning never takes a break here on One Mans Opinion.
There is no such thing as a vacation when you are Jeff Mans. This week Mans brings us a special episode live from his east coast journey where he discusses the huge news of Fantasy Guru being acquired by Podcast One. He also takes some time to give out some more coaching nuggets in advance of the big coaching breakdowns that will live in a couple of weeks. Then it is time for an NFL free agent wish list where Jeff goes over all of the remaining skill position players who are currently free agents and discusses where they fit best for fantasy and for reality.
