Today we bring a sermon from pastor Kelley he preached at  Saltpetre Community Church in Fort Gay, WV. This was from their Holy Week service. So lets consider together Matthew chapter 21 verses 23-46 as we look at Tuesday of passion week.

Rachel Messer, who grew up in a Fort Gay, WV, holler, draws her inspiration from the country and bluegrass greats before her, penning lyrics with a straightforward “say it how you see it” style, true to her Appalachian roots. Also, an impressive yodeler, she served time on Team Blake during Season 15 of NBC's The Voice, earned herself a good fan base across the world, and has worked hard to for every opportunity she can find to share her love for storytelling. Her partner, Connor Dale; was born in KY and raised in New Orleans. They put together a great show; complete with the love, banter, and chemistry showcased in their presence on stage. So glad you'll have a chance to hear what they do. It'll be a great evening of music with Connor Dale and Rachel Messer.

In honor of Labor Day, the Coalfield Development team celebrated our monthly Council Day with an afternoon summer shindig to show appreciation for our crew members and their families. Hosted on the front lawn of the old Fort Gay High School in Fort Gay, West Virginia, the team took some time to kick back, relax, and enjoy food trucks, axe throwing, and cornhole.
