There is a real spiritual battle taking place, and the church cannot afford to remain passive. Too many believers are living beneath the authority God has already given them through Jesus Christ. This message is about overcoming the flesh, recognizing the tactics of the enemy, and learning how to stand strong in the power of God. We are not called to fear darkness! We are called to walk in authority, clothed in the armor of God, filled with His presence, and empowered by His Spirit. The Christian life was never meant to be powerless or routine. God is calling His people to rise up, become spiritually alert, and affect the spiritual climate around them. Scriptures: • Ephesians 6:10–12 • Luke 10:19 • Matthew 28:18 • Mark 16:15–18 • 2 Corinthians 10:3–5 • Philippians 2:10 • Ephesians 1:19 • Ephesians 2:1–2
Most Christians have a weak view of the church. They treat it like a service to attend, a place to be entertained, or something optional to fit around their real life. That is not what the church is, and that is not what it is for. In this message, Pastor Jeremy Robertson teaches from Ephesians 4 on the actual purpose of the church: to equip the saints for the work of ministry and build up the body of Christ. When we misunderstand the purpose of the church, believers stay immature, unstable, and easily influenced by every new teaching they hear. The church is not where you go to be entertained. It is where you come to be aligned, equipped, and matured. Jesus is the anchor. The church is the rope. Scriptures: Ephesians 4:11–16, Matthew 28:18–20, Acts 2:42–47, Luke 14:26–33, Hebrews 10:25

Guided by wisdom from Ephesians and Proverbs, this series explores how to fight for your marriage, not against each other. Just as we need to prepare for the day when we see Jesus face to face at the marriage of the Lamb, those who want to get married someday will want to date someone. A person who will date well will be pursuing personal holiness and praying for someone else who is doing the same.Scriptures: Ephesians 4:25–32, Psalm 16, and various Scriptures.
Marriage was never meant to be casual—it's sacred and worth fighting for. In Love & War, we'll look at Ephesians 5 and God's design for a marriage marked by sacrificial, selfless love. You have more than power — you have authority. This week, Pastor Alex reminded us that God's power isn't limited to physical healing. Jesus came to heal minds, restore souls, and give us authority — the legal right to stand against the enemy. The early church didn't just walk in power; they walked in authority. Before the Holy Spirit was poured out, Jesus gave authority to His disciples and the seventy. They cast out demons and healed the sick — and we're called to do the same. As followers of Christ, we don't need to fear the enemy or darkness. Jesus has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions. He is seated far above all rule, power, and dominion — and we share in that victory. Let's walk boldly, without fear, and in the authority Jesus has given us. Scriptures: Ephesians 2:1–2 Luke 4:31–36 Matthew 9:1–8 Matthew 10:1 Luke 10:17–20 Matthew 28:18–19 Ephesians 1:19–22 Philippians 2:10 Matthew 8:5–10 Luke 10:19

In this Abounding Love episode, I finish up this six (6) part series with "Steps to Your Ministry #6," on "Spending Time in Prayer." Although prayer is the last step in the series, it should be first and most important in our life. This is what the apostle Paul tells us: "Therefore I exhort first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men . . ." (1 Timothy 2:1, NKJV). When we put prayer first, we put God first, and His will first in our life. Then, the Holy Spirit and the love of God becomes first. We're seeking an answer from God in the form of wisdom or an action by Him. So, we could say we're putting God's answer first in our life. We're to have faith in God's answer, not the problem we're praying about. Join me as we build our faith from these Scriptures [Ephesians 1:17-23; 2:1-6; Hebrews 4:16; 11:6; Romans 1:16-17; 14:23; James 1:5-8; 4:2; Mark 11:23-24; Matthew 6:8-10; 1 John 3:22; 5:4; 14-15], and develop a new way to pray -- with faith in His answer, not the problem. Last time, we discussed how each of us is God's masterpiece, created for good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). Today, we explore the “fullness” that comes when each member of Christ's body operates in alignment with their calling—whether as an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Shepherd, or Teacher.Scriptures: • Ephesians 2:8-10 – Saved by grace, created for good works • Jeremiah 7:23-24 – Called to obedience and trust in God's direction • Ephesians 4:7, 11-16 – Equipping the saints for ministry and building up the body in unity and maturityAPEST Gifts: • Apostle: Sent to pioneer and extend the mission • Prophet: Challenges the church toward truth and covenant faithfulness • Evangelist: Gathers and shares the gospel • Shepherd: Cares for and nurtures the community • Teacher: Explains and imparts understandingJoin us as we realign our view of ministry, moving away from hierarchy and towards empowering every disciple to live out their unique calling. Let's restore the fullness of Christ within the church and live as a unified body, reaching out to all corners of our world.

For Christians, the battle against unseen evil forces is constant, with fiery darts of doubt and temptation aimed to weaken faith. Yet, we wield the Shield of Faith as our defense, trusting in God's promises to protect and guide us through the spiritual warfare. With unwavering belief, we stand firm, knowing that nothing can penetrate the shield of our faith in the Almighty. Scriptures: Ephesians 6: 10-17, 1 Peter 4:12, Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Peter 5:8
Marriage was instituted by God in the Garden where He joins a husband and wife together in a one flesh union. God has specific requirements for husbands and wives. Wives are to be submissive to their husbands as to the Lord, and husbands are to sacrificially and lovingly care for their wives as Christ loved the church. Marriage is to be a vivid picture of Christ's relationship to the church.Scriptures: Ephesians 5:22-33

Here we go again...tumultuous times...more wars, upheaval and division. This has left people anxious, weary and feeling overwhelmed. Many caring souls are experiencing what we call in psychology, compassion fatigue ( a term that describes the physical, emotional, and psychological impact of helping others — often through experiences of stress or trauma. ) I've heard reports from prayer intercessors who feel overwhelmed in the process, as events seem to pile on top of each others. They are not sure how to pray; who to pray for; and some are wondering even if it makes a difference? Join Sharon and I as we process the recent headlines and how to keep fighting the good fight of prayer; which for us as Christians, is the most compassionate thing we can do. I think you'll be edified and encouraged to keep up your own personal battle in prayer, as God's purposes are being ushered in through them. His light always overcomes the darkness. Be sure to like, rate and share this episode, so you can be part of brining hope and healing to a hurting world! One person at a time! Soli Deo Gloria.
