Here we go again...tumultuous times...more wars, upheaval and division. This has left people anxious, weary and feeling overwhelmed. Many caring souls are experiencing what we call in psychology, compassion fatigue ( a term that describes the physical, emotional, and psychological impact of helping others — often through experiences of stress or trauma. ) I've heard reports from prayer intercessors who feel overwhelmed in the process, as events seem to pile on top of each others. They are not sure how to pray; who to pray for; and some are wondering even if it makes a difference? Join Sharon and I as we process the recent headlines and how to keep fighting the good fight of prayer; which for us as Christians, is the most compassionate thing we can do. I think you'll be edified and encouraged to keep up your own personal battle in prayer, as God's purposes are being ushered in through them. His light always overcomes the darkness. Be sure to like, rate and share this episode, so you can be part of brining hope and healing to a hurting world! One person at a time! Soli Deo Gloria. There is a war going on outside, so we have to protect our hearts and minds. There is a real enemy out here and it's time we band together and fight back because we cannot stop a war that we don't realize is raging in our hearts, in our minds, and on our timelines. This month has been interesting to say the least, from dealing with my own health scare, to an unexpected death in the family, coupled with news reports of mass murders, death, and destruction it can take a toll on us mentally especially during the holidays which are already hard enough as people mourn lost ones who have transitioned, the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), etc. My heart and prayers go out to all of the family and friends affected by last night's mass shooting at Walmart in Chesapeake, VA; the UVA community from the mass shooting on November 13, 2022; Idaho College Murders on November 13, 2022; and the list goes on.
