However, when we have a biblical understanding of time and recognize the purpose for which the Lord created us, we can enjoy the gift "time" is as we grow in our knowledge of time and live mindfully and purposefully as we build the Kingdom of God. Some respond with great love and admiration, some with a misunderstanding, and some with disdain. On the day Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, referred to as “Palm Sunday,” the first day of Holy week. Many people laid palm branches on the path before Him to celebrate Him. Yet there were several differing reactions to Him, as well. In this story, we can learn so much about Who He truly is and what our reactions should be in response to His triumphal entry, which ultimately led to His crucifixion and His resurrection from the dead.Key Scriptures:John 12:12-19, Psa 118:24-26, Luke 19:36-40,44b, 1 Sam 8:4-7
Today we start a new series called “Last Supper with The Chosen”, with Pastor Jodi teaching on the betrayal. Jesus knew in advance that Judas would betray him, even though he specifically chose him to be one of his 12 disciples. Betrayal is one of the most painful emotions we as human beings can experience. However, there is hope found in Jesus, who is our example and our savior. He is the bread of life and our sustenance. Are there specific formulas or rituals involved in praising and worshipping God? And what is the difference between “worship” and “praise”? Come and learn what the Bible says about how and why we worship and praise the Lord. He is worthy of ALL our praise!Key Scriptures:Psa 113:1, 50:14, 147:12, 57:8-10, 2 Chr 20:21, 1 Chr 29:20, Isa 61:3

We will be discovering the secret of how to embrace a life that is filled with joy, despite our circumstances, history, and mindset.Key Scriptures:Pro 15:15, Ecc 2:10-11, John 15:11, 16:20-24, Heb 12:2-3, Psa 126:1-6, Luke 15:7
Continuing with our series “New LIFE”, Pastor Jodi teaches on hope. It has been stated that humans “can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air...but only for one second without hope.” Hopelessness is rampant in our culture, and it has had devastating effects on the lives of millions. However, there is a God of HOPE, who provides hope even amidst seemingly hopeless circumstances, and offers the promise of finding faith, patience, relief, peace, and even joy, regardless of how things seem.Key Scriptures:Heb 11:1, Luke 15:20, Rom 12:12, 8:24-25, 15:13, 5:2, Ps 42:5, Jer 29:11, Pro 13:12

God's love looks so different from typical views of “love” and we, as followers of Jesus, are called to love differently.Key Scriptures:Num 16:41-50, John 13:34-35, 1 John 4:19-21, 3:15-16
Continuing with our series “New LIFE”, Pastor Jodi teaches on Renewed Strength. Jesus tells us the most important commandment is to love Him with all our strength. The word strength has a much more complex meaning in the Bible than our initial understanding of what it means to love with all our strength. Come hear this challenging and informative message on the extravagant love of God and how we can respond to it.Key Scriptures:Mark 12:28-31, Deu 6:5, Luke 15:20-24, John 12:3, Col 3:15, Num 11:1, Luke 21:1-4, Job 1:20, Isa 40:29-31

Continuing with our series “New LIFE”, Pastor Jodi teaches on A New Heart. There is a great deal of talk about mental health these days. Many different opinions and voices try to tell us about how to deal with our emotions. It is natural to be emotionally unbalanced due to the various factors in our lives. The Bible makes it clear that our emotions are an integral part of us and must be acknowledged and dealt with accordingly. This week we will study the story of Hannah and learn how she dealt with deep emotions in a healthy way and how we can do the same.Key Scriptures:Samuel 1:2-20
Today we start a new series called “New LIFE” to complement our new Wednesday night course “Practicing The Way”, with Pastor Jodi teaching on A New Way To THINK. It has been said, “As a person thinks in their heart, so are they,” The way we think has the potential to impact every area of our lives. Today Pastor Ira teaches there are three small words that will change our world if we take them for how they are intended. Jesus said them two-thousand years ago and they are still transforming lives today. They are so simple that oftentimes the true intent is missed. “Come Follow Me” can either be a casual call or a life changing command.Key Scriptures:Mark 1:1-20, 1 Cor 1:26-29, Luk 9:57-62
Wrapping up our mini-series on “Encounter, Encourage, Engage”, Pastor Jodi teaches on Engaging Others. The idea of sharing one's faith can be somewhat intimidating. However, Jesus promised to give us a GIFT that provides us with the power we need to be bold, sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and effective in bringing the Gospel to those within our circle of influence, those in our region, and even those throughout the entire world! All believers in Christ are encouraged to be missionaries, either near or far—through going or through sending others to go bring the GOOD NEWS of Jesus. In a culture of negativity and judgment, there is a way to grow and change and be faith-filled, and that is through encouragement! We are urged to both be encouraged and to encourage others in order to see true transformation and blessing. Key Scriptures:Josh 1:8-9, 1 Sam 30:3-4,6, Phi 4:8, Gen 16:13, Acts 9:31, Job 42:10, 1 Thes 5:11, Heb 3:12-13,10:23-25
2025-01-05: Encounter, Encourage, Engage: Encountering JesusToday we start a mini-series on “Encounter, Encourage, Engage”, with Pastor Jodi teaching on Encountering Jesus. New Years resolutions are often discarded within the first few weeks of the new year. However, encountering Jesus can bring lasting change that is positive, transformative, and tangible. Saul of Tarsus is an example of a person who was radically changed by encountering Jesus and continued to be transformed as he encountered Him. We, too, can encounter Jesus in ways that bring true and lasting change to our lives as we resolve to seek Him daily. Quotes from Dallas Willard, Living in Christ's Presence: Final Words on Heaven and the Kingdom of God (https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/26191573)Key Scriptures:John 3:3, Acts 9:1-22,26-28, Matt 3:8, Psalm 23:1
Today as we wrap up our Christmas series “Journey to The King”, Pastor Ira teaches on the Wise Men. Following Jesus from the point of view of the world is often looked upon as a fools errand. Yet throughout history, many wise and powerful people humbled themselves at the feet of the Messiah and worshipped offering their treasures for the opportunity to gain the true treasure. The Magi of the Christmas story are a great example of this to us. Key Scriptures:Isa 9:6-7, Matt 2:1-12, Psa 72:8-11, Num 24:17, Luk 12:31-34, Jer 17:9, 1 Chr 28:9, Psa 139:23-24
Continuing with our Christmas series “Journey to The King”, today Pastor Jodi teaches on “LOVE.” Over 100 million songs have been written about love in its various forms. Humans are on a constant quest to discover not only what love means, but also how to obtain it. In our life's journey, there is truly only one source of real, legitimate, and true love, and that is found in the baby born in the manger who was the King of all Kings. He is holy, and He is love. This Christmas, we have the opportunity to be enveloped and changed by the best gift we could ever receive: the gift of LOVE.Key Scriptures:Mat 1:18-21, John 3:16, Eph 2:12-13, 1 John 4:9-11, John 6:28-29
Continuing with our Christmas series “Journey to The King”, today Pastor Jodi teaches on the shepherds. When Jesus was born, the shepherds were the first to learn of the birth of the long-awaited Savior of the world. The shepherds were lowly, despised, and seemingly insignificant in their culture, yet the Lord chose them to bring the most amazing message of all time! No matter who we are, and what we believe about ourselves, we, too, are chosen to bring this same message to a lost and broken world.Key Scriptures:Luk 2:8-20, 1 Cor 1:25-27
Continuing with our Christmas series “Journey to The King”, today Pastor Jodi teaches on Mary & Joseph's Trip of a Lifetime. Life's circumstances can certainly be confusing at times—especially if our desire is to follow Jesus and live according to His teachings. Worry does not have to be a given for those who put their trust in the Lord.Key Scriptures:Phil 4:4-8, Matt 6:25, 33-34
Continuing with our new series “Counter Culture”, today Pastor Jodi talks about being crucified for LIFE. Humans were created to worship. Everyone worships something. The abundant life comes through laying down our lives for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven.Key Scriptures:Gal 2:20, Psa 150:2, 107:22, 145:4, 98:4, 95:6, 22:3, Isa 25:1

Continuing with our new series “Counter Culture”, today is part 1 of a 2 part message and Pastor Jodi talks about how our culture is obsessed with sex. It is a topic of podcasts, TV shows, movies, etc. The church has been accused of not having a healthy view of sex, and of being too restrictive about this subject. But what does the Bible have to say? Hear what God says about sex. You'll probably be surprised!Key Scriptures:1 Thess 4:3-8, 2 Sam 11:2-3, John 8:11, 1 Cor 6:18-20, 10:6-8, Gen 38:8-9, Heb 13:4, Psa 16:11
Continuing with our series “Counter Culture”, today Pastor Ira talks about harvesting. Frequently Israel was enticed by the things of this culture to abandon their faithfulness to the Lord and see if there is anything better. This always led to something much worse as God allowed them to suffer under their bad choices until they repented and returned. Today, we will look at this destructive pattern and how to recover from it.Key Scriptures:Hos 1:10, 10:1-15, Isa 40:3-5, Luk 7:29-30, Jer 29:13-14, John 14:18, Eph 3:17-19

ontinuing with our new series “Counter Culture”, today Pastor Jodi talks about speaking for the voiceless. God often gets a bad reputation for being very angry and destructive in the Old Testament. But the example of what He is truly like is found in Jesus Christ, who is always motivated by love and compassion. We are called to be like him as his disciples, and therefore, we are called to be those who are compassionate, and who speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves.Key Scriptures:Psa 106:3, 68:5-6, Pro 31:8-9, 21:13, Jam 1:27, Deu 26:12, Luk 1:41, 2:16-17, Exo 23:9, Lev 19:33-34, Mat 25:36-40, 9:35-38, 19:14
Continuing with our new series “Counter Culture”, today Pastor Jodi talks about Trending Idolatry. When we think of bowing down to idols, we typically imagine some other culture or era worshipping statues of animals, demons, or false gods. But are there idols that we “bow down” to in our lives? Are there things we “set up” and worship, either knowingly or unknowingly? Our culture is filled with modern-day idols and it can be so easy to fall into the belief that how we think or act is “normal” but the Lord has freedom for us from anything that attempts to grab our attention away from the joy and peace offered only in Jesus.Key Scriptures:Exo 20:3-6, 1 Sam 7:3-4, Col 3:5, 1 John 2:16, Rom 1:20-23, Jon 2:8
Continuing with our new series “Counter Culture”, today Pastor Jodi talks about Politics & Christians. Does God Care About Politics? Does The Bible Address Political Issues? Should Christians Even Participate in Politics? These Are All Pertinent Questions for Disciples of Jesus to Ask During the Current Climate. There Are Biblical Principles Relating to How We Are to Think, Act, And Engage Our Culture in The Political Arena and It Is Vital for Us to Know and Understand the Heart of God for Not Only Our Nation, But for The Individuals for Whom Jesus Cares Deeply.Key Scriptures:1 Sam 8:1-10,18-22, John 18:36, Rom 13:1-2,12:18, 1 Tim 1:1-2, Prov 18:1, Jam 4:17, 2 Chr 7:14, Jer 29:7
Continuing today with our new series “Counter Culture”, today Pastor Jodi dives into Psalm 101. We are constantly bombarded with media, social media, and entertainment. What we ingest has an impact on our physical health, and in the same way, what we take into our hearts, minds, and souls has an impact on our emotional and spiritual health. This dive into Psalm 101 gives an alternative to filling ourselves with things that don't feed our souls and an encouragement to be filled with the Holy Spirit in the presence of the Lord!Key Scriptures:Psa 16:11, 91:1, 101:1-8, Gal 5:16-17, 1 Cor 15:33-34
Continuing today with our new series “Counter Culture”, Pastor Jodi teaches on “Grey Matters”. In the culture, including the culture of disciples of Jesus, there are some issues which are black and white. However, there are also some topics that are open to an individual's own interpretation. Romans 14 discusses “disputable matters” and those areas that are not clear-cut and how we are to respond to these matters.Key Scriptures: Romans 14:1-23, 15:1-2, 1 Cor 5:12-13, 10:23-24
Continuing today with our new series “Counter Culture”, Pastor Jodi teaches on Truth. What is it? Is truth objective or subjective, and why does it matter? This discussion involves the differences between absolute truth and moral relativism and how what we believe about truth impacts our thoughts, motivations, and actions.Key Scriptures:Pro 14:34, Joh 8:31-32,37-38, 14:6, Matt 5:13-16, Gen 3:1-5
Today we start a new series “Counter Culture”. In this series, we will be covering many of the subjects currently being discussed in our nation, and throughout the world. With a careful examination of the Bible, what is our role in society? Are we just supposed to be silent? Or are we called to speak out? 1 Peter 2 gives us a clear definition of how we are to live among those who do not believe in God, as we study how to honor the Lord while being a “Counter Culture.”Key Scriptures:1 Peter 2:9,12,15-17, 1 Peter 3:15-16
Wrapping up our series “Mark My Words”, today we are visited by Pastor Kelly VanArsdol who teaches from Mark Ch. 16 on The Great Commission. The command to make disciples is more than just a command to obey, it's a call for a revolution. A call that yearns for humanity to change and transform into the image of Jesus Christ.Key Scriptures:Mat 28:16-20, Mar 1:21-22, Eph 5:1-2
Continuing with our series “Mark My Words”, today Pastor Jodi teaches from Mark Ch. 15. In the story of Jesus going to the cross there is a subplot involving the custom in which a prisoner was set free. A “notorious criminal” named Barabbas, was released rather than Jesus at the crowd's insistence. Barabbas, like us, went free and instead Jesus paid the penalty for his crimes. What is our relationship to this generous act by our Savior Jesus? We will examine the lives of many who were involved in this seemingly random story, which is a significant example of the Good News of Jesus Christ.Key Scriptures:Mark 15:6-15, Mat 27:16-17, Eph 2:1-5, Rom 5:8
Continuing with our series “Mark My Words”, today Pastor Jodi teaches from Mark Ch. 14. Everyone goes through seasons of difficulty, and no matter how much we try to prevent it, we will all suffer. How do we deal with suffering? What can we learn from Jesus? In this study, we will examine Jesus' prayers in the Garden of Gethsemane on the night he was denied, abandoned, and betrayed, and discover how we can maintain and even increase our faith despite our struggles.Key Scriptures:Mark 14:32-38, Luk 22:42-44, Heb 12:7,11-13, Gen 50:20
Today we were joined by guest Pastor Greg Johnson - from Standing Together Ministries - who brought a great message on discipleship and relationship with God, and how we can go deeper with Him by using principles such as having a Rule of Faith!Key Scriptures:Mat 6:33-34, Gal 2:20, Rom 12:1, 14:7, Psa 118:24, 1 Sam 3:7-11, Heb 4:16
Continuing with our series “Mark My Words”, today Pastor Jodi teaches from Mark Ch. 13 on preparing for the end times. There are two extremes when it concerns the end times: people are either obsessed with the subject or they ignore it completely. Jesus gave clear instructions to believers on what to look for in the last days and how to respond to the signs of the end of the age.Key Scriptures:Mark 13:5,9-11,13,22-23,28-37, 2 Pet 3:9, Exo 14:13, 2 Chr 20:17, 1 Cor 15:58, Gal 5:1, Jam 5:8, 1 Pet 3:10-14,5:9
People often have strong opinions about numerous subjects, but where do these opinions originate? Lack of facts and even spiritual truths abound in our culture, but the Bible clearly communicates what is undeniably true. Jesus engaged with religious leaders who were deceived and tried to trap Him in their false ideologies. He gives a helpful example to know how to engage with those who are spiritually deceived in Mark 12, as we continue our “Mark my Words” series.Key Scriptures:Mark 12:18-27, Deu 25:5-6, Heb, 4:12, 2 Pet 1:3, Rev 2:4
Continuing with our series “Mark My Words”, today Pastor Jodi teaches from Mark Ch. 11 on anger. Jesus wasn't characteristically angry, but when He saw what had happened to the “church” of His day, He was clearly upset. There are different types of anger we experience, but how can we be angry and not dishonor the Lord or others? We will be looking at anger and how it impacts us and how to learn to be angry “Jesus-style.”Key Scriptures:Mark 11:15-17, Eph 4:26-27,31-32, Psa 4:4, 7:11, Isa 56:7, Heb 10:15-18
Continuing with our series “Mark My Words”, today Pastor Jodi teaches from Mark Ch. 10. “What must I do to be saved?” A young man, powerful and rich asks Jesus this question and when he realizes the obstacles to his salvation, he chooses the obstacles over the abundant life Jesus offered him. What are the obstacles in our hearts that keep us from full surrender to the Lord? Are we being held back by the things of this world? Discover the freedom Jesus gives as we choose LIFE with Him.Key Scriptures:Mar 10:17-27, Ex 20:12-16, 1 Tim 6:10, Heb 13:5
Continuing with our series “Mark My Words”, today Pastor Jodi teaches from Mark Ch. 9 on how Jesus is a God of paradox—His Kingdom principle is that the way down is the way up and if we want to become great, we need to become servants to those who cannot repay us, nor serve us back. This is tested most in families. Fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, and children are all called to lay down their lives for others. This Father's Day we honor dads and offer some practical ways to become the greatest!Key Scriptures:Mark 9:33-37, Gen 1:27, Eph 5:21-33, 6:4, Mat 20:26-28
