This week Erik and Aidan discuss the first week of the Indian Wells Masters which has delivered some exciting moments so far. The top 2 cruised through their early rounds, and seem to be heading on a collision course to a Sinner and Alcaraz Final. Djokovic survived a couple of early scares, while Musetti was upset in his first match. Meanwhile, last year's winner Draper has been performing well, and a host of other underdog players have made it through to hopefully make it an exciting second week of the tournament. Be sure to check back next week for the full tournament recap! Tennis Channel broadcaster and producer Geoff Chizever joins the podcast to dive into all the action at Indian Wells, which may be the early favorite for pro tournament of the year. Chizever recaps Jack Draper's epic win over Novak Djokovic and analyzes his ceiling in the men's game. The commentator also discusses Carlos Alcaraz's brilliance as an athlete, Joao Fonseca's potential, and Alexander Zverev's chances to score a big title. He also explains whether the hindrance call between Draper and Daniil Medvedev was fair or foul. And Chizever breaks down the women's draw, where Elina Svitolina stunned two-time Indian Wells champion Iga Swiatek. The broadcaster explains how Svitolina has improved, looks at Swiatek's areas of concern, and assesses how Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina continue to find success. Chizever finishes the show by previewing the semifinal round, and predicts whether all roads will lead to another matchup between Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. Hosted by Mitch Michals. It's only been a few days since the last pod but so much has happened at Indian Wells for Catherine, David and Matt to get stuck into. Part one - ATP (00:00 - 40:17) It's been a thrilling week on the ATP side with the return of Jack Draper and Arthur Fils helping to reinvigorate the tour. We discuss Draper's epic win over Novak Djokovic and the technical tweaks which have helped Fils on his return. But will it still be a Carlos Alcaraz - Jannik Sinner final? There's chat about Alcaraz's absurd level against Casper Ruud and Sinner's steel in seeing off a fine performance from Joao Fonseca. Part two - WTA (40:18 - 1:11:48) The matches may not have quite lived up to expectations so far, but there's still been plenty of intrigue. We cover Iga Swiatek's perfect tactics against Karolina Muchova, Aryna Sabalenka displaying how she's evolved her game by beating Naomi Osaka handily, the impressive form of Jessica Pegula, Elena Rybakina and Victoria Mboko, and the worrying pattern of Mirra Andreeva losing her composure in matches. Part three - News (1:11:49 - 1:23:50). We react to reporting in The Athletic about how the ATP and Saudi Arabia plans to reshape the men's tennis calendar by going on a shopping spree and buying back tournament licenses. Continuing our series “Got Joy?”, Pastor Chase teaches how Paul starts off challenging us in how we should live our lives for Christ…in a manner worthy of the gospel: How? In our conduct….in our consistency….cooperating with others….and He will give us courage through the difficult times. In doing this we will become ‘like minded' and find encouragement and comfort, sharing in the spirit and courage lived out in tenderness and compassion. But Paul reminds us to do all this while putting others first, and then our joy will be complete.Key Scriptures:Philippians 1:27-30, 2:1-4, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, Joshua 1:9, Deuteronomy 31:6, I Chronicles 28:20, I Corinthians 16:13, James 3:16

The digital evidence presented in the Kouri Richins trial doesn't need a plea deal or immunity agreement. It speaks on its own.Forensic analyst Chris Kotrodimos testified about data extracted from seven phones in this case. What he showed the jury was damning. Deleted meme thumbnails recovered from Kouri's phone—accessed moments after first responders left the home where Eric Richins lay dead—included one captioned "I'm really rich" and another showing a woman crying into cash.Between January and mid-March 2022, hundreds of messages, web searches, and call logs were scrubbed from Kouri's white iPhone. Eric's phone showed no mass deletions during the same period. The timeline around Eric's death raised immediate questions. Kouri's phone was unlocked multiple times at 3:06 a.m. the night he died. She didn't call 911 until 3:21. What happened in those fifteen minutes?Google searches recovered from Kouri's replacement phone included how to wipe an iPhone remotely, whether police can force lie detector tests, luxury prison information, and life insurance payout timelines. Cell tower data showed phones belonging to the alleged drug supplier and middleman meeting at the same Draper gas station on the three exact dates prosecutors say fentanyl was purchased—and nowhere else.Valentine's Day data presented a split screen: Kouri texting her alleged boyfriend "I love you" while Eric texted her saying he was sick. That's the day prosecutors allege she attempted to poison him with fentanyl. Former Chief Medical Examiner Erik Christensen testified Eric was given fentanyl by someone else. The psychological question underlying this case—how did Eric miss the signs?—has answers in documented research on coercive control and love bombing. Smart people don't see it coming because they're targeted precisely for their trust.Kouri Richins is presumed innocent until proven guilty.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Breaking down the digital evidence that could define the Kouri Richins murder trial—and the psychological patterns that explain how Eric never saw it coming.Forensic testimony focused on data from seven phones. Digital analyst Chris Kotrodimos showed the jury deleted meme thumbnails recovered from Kouri's device—accessed moments after first responders left the home where Eric lay dead. One meme was captioned "I'm really rich." Another showed a woman crying into cash. The timing is almost incomprehensible—unless you understand documented patterns of narcissistic behavior. The data gets worse. Hundreds of messages, web searches, and call logs were wiped from Kouri's white iPhone between January and mid-March 2022. Eric's phone showed zero mass deletions. Kouri's device was unlocked multiple times at 3:06 a.m. the night Eric died. She waited until 3:21 to call 911.Google searches recovered from her replacement phone: how to wipe an iPhone remotely, whether police can force lie detector tests, luxury prison information, life insurance payout timelines. Cell tower records placed phones belonging to the alleged drug supplier at the same Draper gas station on three exact dates—the dates of alleged fentanyl purchases.Valentine's Day texts showed a devastating split screen: Kouri telling her alleged boyfriend "I love you" while Eric texted her saying he felt sick. Prosecutors say that's the day she tried to poison him.But evidence only explains what allegedly happened—not how someone intelligent ends up married to danger. We're examining coercive control, love bombing, trauma bonding, and intermittent reinforcement. These aren't buzzwords. They're documented psychological mechanisms that trap smart people in relationships they can't see clearly. The person you fell in love with may have never existed.Kouri Richins is presumed innocent until proven guilty.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Why do smart people end up with partners who want to destroy them?Prosecutors allege Kouri Richins was millions in debt, had a boyfriend on the side, and allegedly arranged fentanyl purchases—all while Eric thought he had a marriage. The question everyone asks: How did he not see it? The answer isn't that he was stupid. Research on coercive control suggests he was targeted.Nobody marries a monster. They marry a mask. And by the time the mask slips, the trap has already closed.Digital forensic testimony showed the jury what allegedly happened behind that mask. Analyst Chris Kotrodimos testified about deleted memes recovered from Kouri's phone—accessed moments after first responders left the home where Eric lay dead. One was captioned "I'm really rich." Prosecutors say that's the day she tried to poison him. This episode examines documented abuse patterns—love bombing, mirroring, intermittent reinforcement, trauma bonding—that explain how intelligent people become trapped. Brain Talk | Being Patient for Alzheimer's & dementia patients & caregivers
This interview is brought to you in partnership with Eisai and is part of the Journey to Diagnosis series.Eisai: https://www.eisai.com/index.htmlJourney to Diagnosis: https://beingpatient.com/journey-to-diagnosis/Ben Draper was just 47 when he was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's. In the years leading up to that diagnosis, he and his wife, Robin, began noticing changes. Ben struggled with everyday tasks that used to come easily, such as sending text messages, using a phone or computer, managing time, and doing simple math. While running his construction business, he realized he could no longer read a tape measure. Even following GPS while driving became difficult.Early testing revealed significant cognitive impairment, followed by an extensive medical workup that included an MRI and a spinal tap. The results showed amyloid plaque, and, with a strong family history of Alzheimer's, Ben later learned he also carries a genetic link to the disease.Today, Ben and Robin are focused on living each day to the fullest. They document their experiences on TikTok (@draperfamilylife) to help others feel less alone and to raise awareness about early-onset Alzheimer's.In this conversation with Being Patient's founder Deborah Kan, Ben and Robin describe the emotional whiplash of fearing a rapidly fatal diagnosis like Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease before receiving clarity, and the unexpected relief that can come with finally having the early-onset Alzheimer's diagnosis. They talk candidly about Ben's symptoms and how financial and care gaps can leave younger families scrambling for disability coverage, insurance, and support. Above all, they return to a guiding mindset, focus on what Ben can still do, lean on community, and make each day count.----Visit Being Patient for more Alzheimer's and brain health coverage: https://www.beingpatient.com/Follow Being PatientTwitter: https://twitter.com/Being_PatientInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/beingpatientvoices/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/beingpatientalzheimersLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/being-patientBeing Patient is an editorially independent journalism outlet covering brain health, cognitive science, and neurodegenerative diseases. Continuing our new series “Got Joy?” Pastor Ira teaches Life and Death Joy is a joy that can be a constant in our own lives regardless of the unknown, regardless of the ultimate fears that we face in this world. A secular approach of addressing these trials in our lives, ultimately finds no satisfaction. Paul the Apostle faced these painful times like most all God followers and found a joy that defies life and death.

Wrapping up our series “Pray Like This” walking through THE LORD'S PRAYER, Pastor Ira takes a deeper dive into the last line, “Lead us not into temptation…”. We have been given a great gift in Christ. He has promised that because of His death and resurrection we can be Born Again and walk in a “New Life”. This is the promise. Why do so many people not see it fully expressed in their lives? As we close this series on the Lord's Prayer, we will address this question. Key Scriptures:Romans 6:4, 7:21–25, Matthew 6:9–13, 1 Corinthians 10:13, James 1:12–15, Hebrews 2:14, Isaiah 54:17
PLUS: GA GOP can't handle 'affordability,' so it resorts back to 'anti-trans' measures & the fuss over PFAS in NW GeorgiaThe unsealing of an affidavit that was the basis for the FBI raid of Fulton County's 2020 ballots is raising fresh questions, along with derision from legal experts.. Ron spoke with State Rep. Saira Draper (HD 90) to allow for a Democratic party response, Draper calling the move politically motivated and warning about chain-of-custody issues and renewed efforts to undermine trust in Georgia's elections. The conversation also touches on the SAVE Act, voter ID debates, and the push to revisit hand-marked paper ballots.Ron also covered Senate Republicans adding anti-trans amendments to a bipartisan health care bill. Georgia Equality's Jeff Graham connected with Ron to explain why advocates say the move targets transgender Georgians and jeopardizes broader health reforms that had broad bipartisan support before the 'poison pill' amendments were added. Then, Democratic Congressional candidate Shawn Harris has been ringing alarm bells since last summer, and a year-long effort between the AJC, Associated Press, AL.com and PBS/Frontline chronicled the carpet industry's use of PFAS ("forever chemicals") in stain resistance while poisoning northwest Georgia water supplies. So of course, Georgia Republicans are racing to sneak a once-dead bill back into relevancy to protest carpet makers from litigation, right? Continuing our new series “Pray Like This” walking through THE LORD'S PRAYER, Pastor Kuulei takes a deeper dive into the sixth line, “Forgive us our trespasses”. In teaching His disciples to pray, Jesus went back to the verse on forgiveness and reiterated it in a way that seemed harsh. But His heart was to communicate what true forgiveness looked like in the Kingdom of Heaven.Today we'll look at what biblical forgiveness is not, what it is, and why it's NOT OPTIONAL in the life of the Believer.Key Scriptures:Colossians 3:13, Matthew 6:9-12,14-15,18:21-22, Luke 23:34, Ephesians 4:32, Luke 17:3-5, 2 Timothy 1:7, Micah 7:19, Psalm 103:11-12

For years now on Know Your Enemy, we've taken the January 6, 2021 insurrection as a glimpse of Trumpism unbound—not a few naive Q-anon types and tourists bumbling around, and not an excuse to be blackmailed into voting for Democrats, but a violent prelude to what a second Trump term would be like, a judgment that, sadly, has been entirely vindicated. One reason we've taken this perspective is Robert Draper's exceptionally insightful reporting from the Capitol that day and the days that followed, beginning with being in the Capitol on January 6 and seeing first hand the MAGA mob's unfolding violence, then following figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar, Kevin McCarthy, and others who followed Dear Leader's coattails to power, offering fascinating portraits of the menagerie of conspiracy theorists, liars, and frauds at the center of power in Trump's Washington. We discuss what Draper experienced on January and what he's learned since about the motivations behind, and meaning, of the riot, then ask him about Greene, Nick Fuentes, and Charlie Kirk, all of whom he's profiled in the last year.Sources:Robert Draper, Weapons of Mass Delusion: When the Republican Party Lost Its Mind (2022)— To Start a War: How the Bush Administration Took America into Iraq (2020)— When the Tea Party Comes to Town: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives' Most Combative, Dysfunctional, and Infuriating Term in Modern History (2012)— Dead Certain: The Presidency of George W.
