The Guavian Death Gang makes another sinister return to the Star Wars Resistance festivities in "Kaz's Curse," episode 10 from season 2 of the Star Wars animated series. Things start off innocently and comically enough, with Kaz getting into a new kind of trouble with the pirates on the Colossus. The timing of that trouble is worse because it coincides with our heroes having to maneuver through an asteroid field in order to pass through Guavian Death Space unnoticed. The Platform Classic "The Platform Classic" begins with Yeager responding to a summons from Captain Doza. Yeager's brother, Marcus Speedstar, has arrived on the Colossus for the biggest race of the year: the Platform Classic. Despite Doza's request, Yeager initially refuses to compete against Marcus. However, he soon changes his mind. Marcus, though, has his own issues, and when a Guavian Death Gang arrives, the stakes for the race are raised. On this review of Resistance, the Scoundrels discuss the similarity between Tam and Marcus's stories.
