The Rule of Two is one of the most defining doctrines of Sith history, but did it truly fulfill its purpose? At its core, the Rule of Two sought to refine the Sith, ensuring that only the most cunning and powerful would survive. It succeeded in this regard—through it, Sith Lords like Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious reached levels of influence and mastery unseen in previous Sith empires. However, Sidious himself proved to be the doctrine's greatest contradiction. He exploited the Rule of Two while secretly undermining it, gathering multiple apprentices and even seeking to render the system obsolete by achieving immortality. In doing so, he violated the very principle that had allowed the Sith to endure for a millennium.◉ JOIN THE DISCORD: https://discord.gg/Q9sM3NJ52USupport the channel here: https://patreon.com/LordDagovere- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Follow Lord Dagovere ◉ Twitter: https://twitter.com/LordDagovere◉ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lorddagovere ◉ Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/lord_dagovere◉ Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Watch More Lord Dagovere!More Star Wars Reactions: The Mandalorian S1◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cftNy...The Mandalorian S2◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBupv...Clone Wars S7◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x02FV...The Bad Batch S1◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lj_It...The Book of Boba Fett S1 ◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYFgk...Obi-Wan Kenobi S1◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHSTB...- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Welcome to the most HYPE and Enthusiastic Star Wars Reactor channel! An old-school “Lucasfilm Limited” logo, nice and green, introduces our show, followed by a red Clone Wars logo and title card: Part 1 Old Friends Not Forgotten. For the first time in the series, we have no Jedi Fortune Cookie.Grievous has launched an offensive across the outer rim. On Yerbana, Obi-Wan arrives in the knick of time to slice a missile in half before it kills Cody, and sticking a Marvel superhero landing. Anakin refuses to take cover because “there's only 1000 droids, tops,” and pulls a full Obi-Wan false surrender to lure out the tactical droid; which he force pulls the length of a football field then slices its head off. Rex's clones fly in on jetpacks and finish off the droids.Admiral Yularen tells Anakin and Obi-Wan they have an incoming transmission using the code “Fulcrum.” It's Ahsoka with a lead on Maul's location! Ahsoka and Bo-Katan arrive on the ship. Anakin tries to buddy up - but he gets the cold shoulder. Bo-Katan proposes a joint operation to capture Maul.Anakin surprises Ahsoka with a visit to Rex and the 501st. They salute her, even though she's no longer a commander. Before Anakin can present her with a special gift alarms blare: Grievous is attacking Coruscant! This means the boys can't go to Mandalore with Ahsoka and Bo. Anakin promotes Rex to commander and splits the 501st, assigning half the company to aid in the capture of Maul. Anakin gives Ahsoka her lightsabers, which he took very good care of, and even made some improvements.Ahsoka, Bo, Rex and the now halved 250 ½ clone squad arrive on Mandalore and meet with resistance. Bo goes after Almec, and Ahsoka goes after Maul. Ahsoka falls into Maul's trap, which was meant for Kenobi and Anakin. We end once again in a fade out with no fanfare music. We begin again without a Jedi Fortune Cookie, but the radio announcer...actually, no, the radio announcer is gone too, along with the opening theme. We are really at endgame here. Ahsoka is surrounded by Maul and his loyal Mandalorians, as he informs her he was hoping his plan would lure Obi-wan here. While he soliloquizes, Ahsoka signals Rex and the clones with her location: they free Ahsoka, but Maul escapes. In the throne room, Ahsoka and Bo-Katan speak to Obi-wan via Spacetime(tm). He informs them that we're now past the opening of Revenge of the Sith, and that Anakin and he rescued the Chancellor and killed Dooku. Back in the tunnels, Ahsoka learns that Maul has captured ARC Trooper Jesse and is searching for her. Prime Minister Almec is killed by Gar Saxon, who is tying up lose ends under Maul's orders.Maul decides that with Sidious's plans coming to fruition, the time for action has come - he fires up his Mandalorians with a speech about dying gloriously in battle, and then sneaks into the throne room to surprise the heroes. Maul and Ahsoka discuss their differences. Now that Maul knows Ahsoka's full history, and that she has left the Order, he offers her an alliance to defeat Sidious. She agrees to the plan, but only if Maul explains what's up with Anakin. Maul tells her the truth: he's the key to Sidious's plan, and has been groomed to be the new Sith apprentice. Unwilling to accept the truth of this, Ahsoka decides that she must fight Maul instead. And we get the best lightsaber battle of the series!Maul disarms Ahsoka, and offers her one last chance to join him, but she sticks to her convictions. Then, with an assist from a number of clones, she captures Maul and secures him for transport back to Coruscant.https://twitter.com/ClosingCrawlhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/closing-crawl/id1530133296https://www.closingcrawl.com/Merch at: https://bit.ly/spacetimetm

Yoda is on a spirit quest and arrives at a Force cloaca that is spewing the living Force into the galaxy (Oh shit! Is that Ego the Living Planet's music?). Yoda passes the corpse of J.N. Reynolds and lands in what can only be called Grandfather Nurgle's Summer estate. Yoda is approached by a Force Spirit, and follows it into the jungle. The force spirit is joined by her sisters Melpomene, Thalia and, I don't know, Terpsichore and Clio? I might be overthinking some of this stuff. They start to teach Yoda.Yoda's first trial is to face off against his own personal gollum. Yoda decides that his best bet in a time of spiritual crisis is to fall back on the gospel of Austin, specifically chapter 3, verse 16. New Yoda break down that a dark side is part of all life, even Yoda Classics'. Then to emphasize the point New Yoda unleashes a 100 move combo. Yoda finally admits his hubris. The force spirits naming themselves as: confusion, anger, sadness, joy and serenity. I'm batting .400. Yoda is thrust into a second vision, surrounded by dead Jedi and younglings. Yoda is tempted with relief from sorrow, confusion and anger and is incepted into a more pleasant vision where the Jedi are alive, Ahsoka is still a Jedi, there is no war, and even Dooku is still a Jedi Master. Yoda chooses hard truths over easy lies and passes the trial. The Force Spirits give Yoda his final trial, sending him to Moraband which, for legal purposes, is definitely not Korriban. Go ahead Bioware, try to sue Disney.Yoda arrives on Moraband, walks through the desert wasteland and is surrounded by some Deatheaters from Azkaban. As Yoda defeats them, Dooku awakens from meditation… Did he sense Yoda? We'll soon find out as Sidious summons Dooku to Coruscant.Yoda enters a temple and meets Darth Bane, and ancient Sith lord that created the “rule of two.” Yoda defeats him by pulling a reverse Tinkerbell and telling Bane he doesn't believe in fairies.Back on Coruscant Sidious and Dooku use Dooku's connection to Yoda to see through time and space. Sidious telepathically reemerges on Moraband as Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, someone Yoda would be happy to see still alive.Sifo-Dyas offers to tell Yoda who the Sith lord is. Yoda refuses the all-to-good offer. He suddenly wakes up on a transport ship on Coruscant, with Anakin and some clones, that is headed towards a secret rendezvous between Dooku and Sidious… However, Yoda is confused how he got here, and what the mission is, even though it is “his mission” according to Anakin. (Is Yoda still in the bacta tank? Is this all a dream? Is he still on Moraband? Stay tuned to find out!)Yoda tells Anakin he wants to capture the two, but kill them if it is necessary because this must end here. Anakin fights Dooku, gaining the advantage, taking Dooku's saber, and beheading him over Yoda's objections.Yoda pursues Sidious. A lightsaber battle ensues. Anakin joins in, but is knocked unconscious. Yoda continues his fight with Sidious, but must save Anakin as the bridge they are on is collapsing. Both Yoda and Sidious fall from the bridge. They slap fight in freefall, a Yoda manages to pull back the hood and reveal that Sidious is… an empty hood.Yoda wakes up on Moraband. He is greeted by one of the sisters who proceed to tell him there is another Skywalker. We hear familiar sounds from movie Episodes 3-6 to foreshadow what is to come.Yoda and R2 fly back to Coruscant. There, he tells Obi-Wan and Mace Windu that he's seen a path to victory… not for the Clone Wars, but for all time…https://twitter.com/ClosingCrawlhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/closing-crawl/id1530133296https://www.closingcrawl.com/Merch at: https://bit.ly/spacetimetm
Plo Koon is sent to find the source of a distress signal sent to the Jedi Temple. Plo & his Bros search during a sand storm and find a ship that crashed ages ago. Plo discovers a lightsaber in the wreckage. Plo Spacetimes(™) the temple and tells them the ship belonged to long-lost Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas. The council reminds the viewers that Sifo-Dyas was the one who ordered the production of the clone army without the blessing of the council or the senate. Sifo-Dyas was sent to Falucia to negotiate a peace and he was killed there. No one knows what happened to his body since the Chancellor has ordered the files sealed. Yoda sends Obi-Wan and Anakin to Felucia to investigate, while he himself speaks with Chancellor Palpatine. Palpatine tells Yoda the prior Chancellor Valorum sealed the files. Valorum tells Yoda that Sifo-Dyas was to speak with the Pykes, a group that runs the spice trade, and he locked the files so that news didn't get out; as speaking with the Pykes would be like negotiating with the Taliban in the aughts. Based on Palpatine's comments, Yoda believed a second Jedi was with Sifo-Dyas, but Valorum assures Yoda that only his personal aide, Silman, accompanied Sifo-Dyas.Palpatine, as Sidious, Spacetimes(™) Dooku to have him cover his tracks and stop the Jedi investigation on Felucia. Obi-Wan and Anakin speak with the Pykes, after some Jedi persuasion the Pykes admit they shot down Sifo-Dyas' ship and gave his body to Lord Tyranus, but kept Silman alive and imprisoned. The Pykes offer Silman (now a crazy loon after all this time in solitary) to the Jedi to settle the affair. Meanwhile, Dooku shows up on Felucia, fights his way through some guards, and force-chokes Silman while literally standing right behind Obi-Wan and Anakin. A lightsaber duel ensues, during which it is revealed that Dooku is Tyranus! Dooku escapes. The boys inform the council of what they discovered. Yoda tells everyone they must keep it a secret so as not to discredit the creation of the clones and the war effort. The Jedi have leared that Dooku is the person who ordered the clone army: Yoda is meditating on this knowledge when he hears the voice of Qui-Gon Jinn, who explains that he has become part of the living force. Yoda informs the council and they all meditate together, but no one else hears the voice from beyond. In order to determine if the voice is truly from the Force, or a trick by the Sith, Yoda undergoes a meditative trance/induced coma in a sensory deprivation tank. Yoda sees a vision of a swamp planet and the voice of Qui-Gon tells him he must go to Dagobah to complete what Qui-Gon could not. Skywalker escorts Yoda to a hangar, where R2-D2 and Yoda depart for Dagobah in a fighter.R2 stays with the fighter in a desperate attempt to avoid any issues with him being on Dagobah with Master Yoda and knowing both how to get there and exactly who Yoda is. Yoda speaks more with Qui-Gon, who explains that he is now outside of linear time, like the Prophets of Bajor or Dr. Manhattan. Yoda sees visions of the dark future to come. Qui-Gon explains that Yoda he has been chosen to learn how to become part of the Force after death, as Qui-gon was, so that he can be a voice of light in the times to come. Yoda departs Dagobah, letting the Force guide him towards the origin of life in the Galaxy.https://twitter.com/ClosingCrawlhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/closing-crawl/id1530133296https://www.closingcrawl.com/Merch at: https://bit.ly/spacetimetm
Senator Amidala is apparently the only person responsible for aiding refugees, and apparently all money comes from the Banking Clan on Scipio. Amidala and her aide Teckla Minnau travel there and meet old friend, Rush Clovis. Clovis proves his good intentions by sneaking into Padme's bedroom, this bank has security almost as bad as Fortress Inquisitorius ! He explains that the Banking Clan is about to change its name to Bear-Stearns, as the vaults are almost empty.Chancellor Palpatine asks Padme to help Clovis and find out more about the missing money. Padme and Clovis head to his private apartments to make their Ocean's 2 heist plan to steals banking files. Teckla follows through on the play, but is assassinated by Bounty Hunter Embo: RSVP Teckla Minnau!Padme and Clovis review the data, but before they can act Padme is arrested for espionage. The Jedi send Anakin to Scipio to help; once he arrives and learns Clovis is involved, he becomes a raging pit of jealousy. Our heroes manage to escape, but as they do, Embo contacts Darth Sidious, who declares that going forward Sidious will deal with them personally. The space caricatures of ‘international' bankers are meeting in their steampunk lair - oof. Yoda meets Padme, Anakin and Rush Clovis and escorts them to the Chancellors office. Anakin gets possessive and picks a fight with Padme, which Clovis somehow wins simply by not being a raging dick. Obi Wan notices that Anakin is pretty angry, and they almost have a conversation about Anankin and Padme. Anakin outright lies about his relationship with Padme.Padme and Clovis engage in some forensic accounting. Clovis gets grabby. Anakin, who has presumably been using the peeping tom force power, barges in and proceeds to Force Choke Clovis. Clovis gets Anakin to put down his lightsaber and put up his dukes. Security is called and Clovis may be many things, but he aint no snitch. Padme tells Anakin to get lost. Anakin is heartbroken. The Separatists and the Republic vote to allow Clovis to become head of the banking clans (which, what the hell?). We open on Scipio as the transfer of power to Rush Clovis is about to begin. Dooku Spacetimes(™) with Clovis with demands and threats to raise the interest rates on the Republic, otherwise the Separatists will default on their payments.Padme relays this information to the Senate. Yoda and Chancellor Palpatine both want to investigate Clovis, but in their own ways. Back on Scipio, the separatists attack Padme's clone escort and Dooku arrives to take control. Padme is captured. Palpatine decides they must declare war on Scipio. Dooku FORCE…S Padme to shoot the separatist senator. Yoda sends an obviously conflicted Anakin to Scipio. Sidious and Dooku reveal that the banks will be placed under the control of the Supreme Chancelor… their plan all along. Padme warns Clovis that he has lost control. A Vulture droid is shot down and crashes into Clovis' office, causing Padme and Clovis to tumble over the edge. Anakin cannot save them both. Clovis apologizes for all he's done, and sacrifices himself.Palpatine gets control of the banks, but promises to relinquish power once the war is over… A promise I'm sure he'll keep.https://twitter.com/ClosingCrawlhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/closing-crawl/id1530133296https://www.closingcrawl.com/Merch at: https://bit.ly/spacetimetm
There's a battle for Ringo Vinda, a massive space station surrounding an entire planet. Anakin leads the clones, along with twin Jedi sisters Tiplee and Tiplar, against the Separatist droid onslaught of the station. Anakin relays his battle plan, with Fives and Tup to assist the twins. Unfortunately Tup is overcome with a headache and a sneer forms as he says the word “Jedi.” During a final push on the droids, with victory in sight, Tup loses it and shoots Tiplar, killing her.The Separatist Admiral Spacetimes(™) with Dooku and informs him of the clone's behavior, calling him “entranced.” Dooku Spacetimes(™) with Sidious that the clone's behavior could ruin his plan; Sidious tells Dooku to capture the clone.Tup repeats the phrase “good soldiers follow orders” multiple times before finally lunging at Tiplee with another muttered “kill the Jedi.” Anakin and the clones decide to send Tup back to Kamino for examination believing it could be some sort of biological warfare designed against the clones. While departing, some Iron Man Mark 2 droids overtake the ship and capture Tup. Anakin devises a plan to reclaim Tup. They track his signal, space walk, hitch a ride, board the ship, and get him back. With this, they are now ready to send him back to Kamino. Now Rex and Fives are taking him back to Kamino for intensive evaluation. They meet with Master Shaak Ti and Kaminoan scientist Nala Se. Shaak Ti explains that Tup's actions may be the result of a virus, and Fives could also be infected. Rex, who has been with Fives and Tup this whole time, is sent back to the battlefield to spread the virus to as many clones as possible. After further consideration, Shaak Ti argues that Tup's condition is purely mental and caused by Separatist brain washing. She wants an atomic brain scan to prove it, which may kill the weakened Tup. Nala Se, on the other hand, states this is a virus or physical ailment, and prefers to perform an autopsy, which will very likely kill the weakened Tup. They depart to inform their superiors, where we learn from Nala Se and Lama Su that this is actually part of 'clone protocol 66', and Tup's inhibitor chip has been activated early. They contact Lord Tyranus via SpaceTime(™), who explains they must keep the inhibitor chips secret from the Jedi.Shaak Ti contacts the Jedi Council via SpaceTime(™), who order her to bring Tup back to the Jedi Council for examination. Meanwhile, Fives has convinced medical droid AZI-3 via unbreakable computer logic that AZI-3 must perform the potentially fatal atomic brain scan - if they don't, Tup might die! One space MRI later, AZI-3 and Fives learn that Tup has a brain tumor of some sort that might be causing his condition, before they can investigate further, Nala Se arrives to explain that the tumor doesn't exist. Fives isn't going to let little things like orders or pushy customer service reps stop him from saving a friend, so AZI-3 hacks the Gibson and creates a fake intruder alert just in time to prevent Tup's euthanasia. AZI-3 removes the 'tumor'. Once removed, Tup awakens, talking of the mission in the Clones' dreams that never ends. Declaring the nightmare over and himself free, Tup promptly dies!Shaak Ti and Nala Se contact Chancellor Palpatine to inform him of the death of Tup and the discovery of the tumor. Shaak Ti says it will be sent to the Jedi Temple for study, but Palpatine has a better idea - send it to the Grand Republic Medical Facility, which is state of the art, and also under his control.https://twitter.com/ClosingCrawlhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/closing-crawl/id1530133296https://www.closingcrawl.com/Merch at: https://bit.ly/spacetimetm

In Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker, we got Palpatine rising to power then being defeated by Rey. In the movie, he tells Kylo Ren that he was every voice inside his head (Snoke, Vader, Sidious), so is it possible that the force ghosts Rey heard, were from Palpatine as well? This would cause her to believe she needed to fight back and kill him, and thus, fulfilling his prophecy. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In the novel From a Certain Point of View celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, there are many chapters regarding many of the characters from the fifth Star Wars film. One in particular is the chapter called Disturbance by Mike Chen and narrated by Sam Witwer, himself. This chapter blew my mind. It's in regards to the scene where Vader kneels before Palpatine to only learn that his master has sensed a great disturbance in the force. The book states that Palpatine, moments before, entered Vader's dream of him and Luke killing Sidious. Although Anakin was Anakin Skywalker once again, and without a respirator as Vader requires. Luke was the perfect Sith of legend, as Palpatine says. The fight was incredible, and something I'd love to see in a film someday. This chapter in the book was one of my favourites. It just ties everything in so well, and to show this fan-fiction in canon is mesmerizing to think of, and a Fan-Fic I'd actually like to create. Anakin Skywalker watching his son, no, encouraging his son to beat the emperor. The question is, would Luke be strong enough to kill the emperor like this? In the chapter it explains how Luke would rise above Vader to see the true potential of his bloodline, over his father's final death. I don't think he would be, not in the time after Empire, say, Luke did join his father, he wouldn't be ready so soon. It would require a year or two of proper Sith training to rival the emperor so easily the way he did. Then again, it was just Vader's dream. Another thing that stuck out to me was that Palpatine mentions Vader has the fiery heart of Anakin Skywalker, further proving that Anakin never left Vader, just as we saw closer and closer to the end of Return of the Jedi. I think this excerpt is one of the first showcases of Palpatine's affirmation that the son of Skywalker, if turned, would truly be the Anakin Skywalker he never got. For all those years he worked on turning Anakin to the dark side, it eventually all fell to pieces when he failed against Obi-Wan Kenobi to his own arrogance. Learn more about your ad choices. in the new Secrets of the Sith novel by insight editions (canon) we learn of a lot of new things from Palpatine's point of view. Much like the secrets of the Jedi book a few years ago all from Luke's point of view, this one is all about Sidious and his thoughts on characters, weapons, time periods, and the galaxy overall. It's a cool book and I like it, despite its slight conflicting statements which we can discuss another time (I could even be incorrect about those). In this one, there is something that Palpatine mentions called the Aeon drive. This was something from the Vader immortal game for VR (amazing game) and it essentially has the power to bring anyone back from the dead. Vader used it in the game to bring back Padme. We even heard parts in the game from Anakin Skywalker, Padme, and other prequel characters that made us realize how powerful this magic was. In the end, Padme's silhouette even appeared, before you, as the player, destroy the bright star while fighting Vader. Palpatine even states this in his book that it can be recreated and if in the hands of a Sith, could be perilous for the galaxy. Why would he say that? Why would they write that in if not to perhaps use it sometime later? It definitely is an opening, in my opinion. I don't want Palpatine to return. let me contradict myself. I do want Palpatine to return if they're going to make him return, BUT, he needs to be young, prime era Sheev Palpatine. Unlimited power in a youthful body. That would be interesting to see. The idea of bringing back the dead undermines the death of characters. I also believe this is how they could bring back Kylo Ren / Ben Solo, which would be great to see him in the story, however, unfortunate they had to resurrect him. All information in the book is canon, however my theories, of course, are not. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
It's a one in a googleplex. I hope we get to learn even more about this force dyad thing between Rey and Kylo, which gave Palpatine all of his power back in Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker. Months ago I pre-ordered the Darth Sidious/Palpatine Force FX Lightsaber. I have always wanted a Sidious lightsaber to swing around. It really was garbage quality for the money they charged. So here's one of my favourite Clone Wars arcs that wasn't ever made into the show, however, it does have an epic series of comic runs. After The Clone Wars season 5, Darth Maul is captured by Darth Sidious, the rightful heir to the Darksaber after defeating Maul. Maul is interrogated by Count Dooku and later fights General Grievous per Dooku and Sidious' design. I have covered every issue before several years ago, however, I went back and redid the entire thing for issue 1 and I think i'll redo the whole issue, with better voice acting, better sound fx, better editing. I hope you enjoy this one and stay tuned for the full compilation of Son of Dathomir. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In Star Wars Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker, we'll get the final 9th chapter in the Skywalker saga. From the prequels with Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan and Yoda, to Luke, Vader, and Sidious and the sequels. We've seen the heroes of each trilogy and I believe the biggest one of all has yet to reveal himself. I believe that Kylo Ren will redeem himself in Episode 9 by performing the ultimate deed to save Rey and the Galaxy from Palpatine's clutches. Learn more about your ad choices. During Clone Wars Season 7 with Ahsoka fighting Maul, we all wondered what would have happened had Anakin Skywalker actually gone to Mandalore to fight the Sith. Maul's whole plan was to kill Anakin, so that Sidious plan would be foiled. This of course didn't happen, as Anakin went with Obi-Wan Kenobi to save Palpatine from Dooku and Grievous. Anakin fought Dooku and it was a really cool scene, even cooler in the books with force powers being used, heavily. Anakin would have fought Maul and two different outcomes could have happened. We could have had Maul win, or Anakin win. Both would yield two very different outcomes. In today's fan-fiction on Star Wars Theory, we're going to take it through scenario 1 where Darth Maul actually ends up beating Anakin on Mandalore in the throne room. How will this affect Order 66? Who will join Obi-Wan to fight Dooku over Coruscant like we saw in Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith? Who will take down Dooku? What will happen to the identity of the Chancellor then? Yoda was the beacon of light, the Grand Master Jedi. Yoda kept the peace and serenity with all the Jedi in the Academy at the Jedi Temple. He was the first to feel the disturbance of Order 66, and the one to take on Sidious after Mace Windu's fall to Anakin Skywalker. Just what would his powers look like, if he were to turn to the dark side of the force at some point in his life? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In today's Canon comic episode brought to life, we go over the time Palpatine took young Anakin Skywalker to a nightclub/bar where they got into a little trouble with some senators and thugs...This was the first time Anakin disobeyed the Jedi by using his powers...much like how Qui-Gon Jinn did in The Phantom Menace...I wonder what would have happened if Sidious used his raw power to defeat the thugs, instead of what he actually did... in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, we see Anakin's final pivot to the Dark Side, killing Padme and being reborn as Darth Vader. As he is raised to face Palpatine on the surgical table, he comes to remember everything he did, and is told by Sidious what he did to Padme. We will go through all of his thoughts about what he did and the new life he leads, wishing he could kill Palpatine and turn back time to before he became Lord of the Sith. Thanks so much for your patience on this one. It took about 4 years almost but it's here. The reason for my unfinished fan-fics is because I'm not good at finishing stories compared to starting them. I doubt myself when it comes to writing, and I always wonder if the ending I wrote is really the 'perfect' one for these characters. Anakin must step up to the plate and rival Sidious with Obi-Wan and Yoda. He now understands how manipulative Palpatine has been and knows what must be done...but how far is Anakin willing to go, to right his wrongs...? Learn more about your ad choices. Hey guys, in today's fan-fiction we'll cover the what if theory regarding Obi-Wan Kenobi and if he NEVER went to Mustafar to fight Anakin Skywalker after Order 66. What would have happened if Anakin got to talk to Padme in full? Would he turn back to the light? Could he team up with Obi-Wan and Yoda to fight Palpatine? Will Luke Skywalker and Padme be born? Before the events of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, Grievous and Mace Windu actually meet to fight one another. The battle is one that I wish we got to see on screen in live action, however, at least we got it in this book: Labyrinth of Evil by James Luceno. The book takes place before Revenge of the Sith where it follows the Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi on their mission to get the holo chair from Nute Gunray, and track its information down to find Sidious and reveal his true identity as Palpatine. This all happens before Anakin fights Dooku, and of course, before he becomes Vader. Had Mace beaten General Grievous, I think things would have been very different, because then Obi-Wan would be at the temple most likely when Anakin revealed the truth about Palpatine being the Sith Lord. I think Obi-Wan could have guided Anakin better in that moment, perhaps, or at least it would be down to Obi-Wan and Palpatine surviving, and that's a choice Anakin would have a hard time making. It could have potentially changed Order 66 from happening. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Yoda was the Grand Master of the Jedi Order, easily the most powerful being in the Star Wars movies and books AND comics..in the light side of the force that is. Sidious, AKA Palpatine, was the strongest Sith to have (arguably) ever lived. We know this, and we know that Yoda lost to Sidious in Revenge of the Sith. However, the two share something in common, the both were Master to Count Dooku. What does Dooku himself think of both of them when comparing their skillset and training methods as his master, respectively. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Today let's cover the Star Wars Tales Issue 24 comic where Darth Maul is sent on a mission by Palpatine to find someone force sensitive. What Maul doesn't know, is that Sidious plans to make this target his new apprentice should Maul fail to beat him. Through the story we see moments of Maul's childhood as Sidious is taking him. The story is legends fun fact: Apparently, we were going to get Darth Vader vs Darth Maul in Rebels. This was how Maul was originally going to die (according to rumors). It ultimately never happened, and we got Maul vs Kenobi, leading to his demise. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
At long last, we finally know! It was always a wonder as to why Dooku would actually reveal to Obi-Wan Kenobi that there was a dark lord, Darth Sidious, behind the Senate. Was it because he felt for his former pupil, Qui-Gon Jinn, and wanted Kenobi to be safe? Was it because he wanted to kill Sidious and take over the galaxy, himself? Well, here's the real answer from Labyrinth of Evil by James Luceno (legends, not canon anymore [but it is in my mind]) Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In revenge of the Sith we got the biggest turning point in the Star Wars universe, order 66, where Anakin cut off Mace Windu's hand and Sidious threw him out the window. It was after this that Anakin was dubbed as Darth Vader. The entire conversation from the novel is quite different from what we got in the film, Palpatine was actually a lot more manipulative in the book, where Anakin would say things like he was unsure and that it was hard because he was a Jedi for so long, then Palpatine would say that it basically came down to him choosing between the Jedi and Padme. This was where Anakin basically accepted his new role as Sith Lord and Sidious told him to wipe out the Jedi at the Temple and then to go to Mustafar to the secret base where the Separatist Leadership remained. As Anakin marched to the Jedi temple with the 501st clones, which later on became Vader's Fist, they left no creature alive as Sidious ordered for him to do in the novel. So obviously as we can see, the gate Master was killed within an instant. Now you're probably wondering who this Jurokk. Well he's a bit of a funny story, see he was in the revenge of the Sith novel, then he was in the the complete Star Wars encyclopedia in 2008, but later he was retconned in 2012 to ever have appeared in revenge of the Sith. Which is true, he never was in the movie, but he was in the book and remains in print to this day. So I find it a bit confusing as to why he was plucked out in 2012 randomly. Jurokk was trusted to watch over the defense of the Jedi Temple as the Gate Master. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Palpatine is one of the most powerful Sith Lords in all of the Galaxy (besides Snoke...I now suppose...) and with his legacy came many of his different powers, however in the movies we only got to see a limited amount of his abilities, that being his infamous Force Lightning. However today we've been shown a new power in CANON by the new Star Wars Battlefront 2 game. In legends, Sidious was one of the most, if not THE most over powered Sith Lords we have seen, almost as far-fetched as Luke Skywalker's force powers grew to be in the old comics. Two of the most powerful force users of thei era, Darth Sidious and Master Yoda. People waited decades to see the ever waited duel between the two, and finally in episode 3, we got a taste of it. Let's get to the point, who was stronger? I'll firstly address, It is extremely debated who had the upper hand in episode 3's battle? Yoda and Sidious seemed to be drawn in a stale mate, with both showcasing their force powers, acrobatics, speed, and dueling techniques, however it didn't seem like either one was victorious. So let's go into the comics, novelizations, and expanded universe for answers that the movies don't give us. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In revenge of the Sith obi wan went to Mustafar in Padme's ship to confront anakin and defeat him, as per orders from Yoda. Yoda went to the emperor to do the same and hopefully put an end to the Sith. Now, if it weren't for Anakin's arrogance, losing his fight with Obi-Wan, and if it weren't for Sidious unable to find Yoda to finish him off, the galaxy would be a different place for sure. No Jedi would have survived, and Padme would have been taken with Anakin to give birth to Leia and Luke. Things would surely look differently, let's begin. Don't try it! Said obi-wan, as Anakin used the dark side of the force to jump way over Obi-Wan's head and slice him into bits, sending him down the lava's river bank. Anakin looked at what's left of his master, as he force pushed the remains into the lava, burning away any last bit of love that was left for his former Master. The hatred swelled in him now. Anger was his ally, and it felt overwhelming. Every moment that passed made him more powerful in the dark side, and soon, even more powerful than his new master. Learn more about your ad choices. Have you ever wondered what power levels each Jedi from the Star Wars prequels would have been? I have found an excerpt from Star Wars Archives by Paul Duncan regarding a quote by George Lucas, followed by Nick Gillard (swordman choreography and stunts for prequels) who confirms that George Lucas had a power level system. These characters include, Anakin Skywalker in episode 2-3, Obi-Wan Kenobi episodes 1-3, Palpatine Ep 3 Revenge of the Sith, Yoda ep 3 Revenge of the Sith, Mace Windu episode 3 Revenge of the Sith, and more which I'll discuss from the originals (Luke, Vader, Sidious, Obi-Wan). I find this levelling system to be quite interesting as it puts into perspective how powerful each character was in comparison to one another. Learn more about your ad choices. Star Wars Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker has created more talk than anything. One of the recurring comments I see a lot of, is whether or not Palpatine's return undermines Anakin Skywalker's story in Return of the Jedi when he saved Luke Skywalker from Sidious. In Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, there was a moment after Anakin defeated the Separatists during Order 66 on Mustafar, where he speaks to Sidious. In the movie we NEVER saw this scene but in the novel Palpatine warns him of imminent danger! He knows Obi-Wan is coming (or someone) and warns Anakin. I think this warning did more trouble than good. I think once Anakin saw it was Obi-Wan behind Padme, he was even more furious that Palpatine would even insinuate he is a danger to him. It hits his nerves even more that everyone constantly doubts him, in my opinion. What do you think about this scene in the novel? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, Anakin Skywalker executed Order 66 with the 501st on Palpatine's orders...we all know he did it to 'save padme.' However, there was more to his reasoning as to just why he turned to the dark side and killed the Jedi at the Temple. He never cared for the Sith, or for Palpatine, but rather he was afraid the Jedi would only curse him for protecting the Jedi way by disarming Mace infront of an unarmed prisoner, Sidious who must stand trial. What if Mace Windu chose the dark side? Would Palpatine choose him over Anakin? What reasons would Sidious choose Mace over Skywalker? What if Mace was more powerful than Anakin in the long run? What if he was willing to become Palpatine's apprentice? In Revenge of the Sith, if Palpatine made this decision, things would drastically change. This episode will cover more of the "could this potentially have happened - why or why not", instead of a typical fan-fiction that goes down the rabbit hole. Learn more about your ad choices. In Star Wars Return of the Jedi, Vader finally fulfills the prophecy and destroys the Sith, Emperor Palpatine. As Palpatine pulled on Anakin's strings almost his entire life, in the end it was Luke Skywalker's love for his father that brought him back to the light, breaking free from the plague of Darth Vader and freeing himself as Anakin Skywalker, once again. What were Darth Vader's deepest thoughts as he saw Palpatine kill Luke Skywalker? What did he think as he was holding Sidious to throw him over the generator's core in the Throne Room? In Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, there was the original concept of Anakin Skywalker being present during Palpatine's fight with the Jedi and Mace Windu, where he offers his blue lightsaber to Sidious. It was later deleted and changed to Anakin showing up when he did, to eventually turn into Darth Vader before Order 66...however before this, the concept was there and filmed to have him walk over Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar and Saesee Tin, the Jedi Masters that Palpatine defeated so effortlessly. In the novel, it's also different, where Anakin shows up to walk over the bodies and view the speed of Mace and Palpatine as they dance in colors of red and purple, however he is NOT present during the initial arrest and does not throw his lightsaber to Palpatine to use. In today's Star Wars fan-fic, let's dive into the what if scenario if Anakin Skywalker didn't burn on Mustafar. He still lost to Obi-Wan Kenobi as in Revenge of the Sith, but he didn't burn, which resulted in most of his injuries and loss of powers. Would he find Luke and Leia? Would he fight Yoda and Obi-Wan? Would he overthrow Sidious? What becomes of the chosen one? How powerful would Anakin be, now? How does this impact the fate of the Star Wars timeline? Learn more about your ad choices. Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing well. What if Darth Plagueis killed Emperor Palpatine / Darth Sidious? We all know how the Galaxy unfolds with Anakin turning into the cyborg Darth Vader, but what if Sidious wasn't his master? What if Plagueis was? It would completely change history with the Jedi Masters such as Mace Windu, Master Yoda, Obi-Wan, and later Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia and Chewbacca. I hope you all enjoy this one, and I will see you all tomorrow in the next episode of Star Wars Theory! Thank you for listening to today's podcast.
