Jeff Roalson sings and plays guitar for Halfloves (formerly The Olympics). The Iowa City band has been busy cultivating a following the past few years playing their brand of dark indie pop. There have been challenges the band has faced like dealing with previous name confusion, as well as developing & maintaining a following in a college town that seems to recycle residents every 4 years. We talk all about this and other stuff like Jeff's early years in dance, living in France, pizza, music discovery, Iowa City music scene, his approach to being in a band, & more.
