Hi Y'all! It is a privilege to have Pastor David Cox II from the Deliverance Worship Center making his first appearance on the show. I have had his name written down on a list of people who I wanted to speak with since the beginning of this podcast series. Pastor Cox is a long time friend and supporter of the ShareTheWill foundation. His passion to serve in the community stretches back to his arrival in Texas in the early 2000s. The impact by Pastor Cox big heart has changed the lives of numerous individuals. Chairman of ShareTheWIll, 1st Sgt. Will Williams, also joins in on the discussion through out the podcast. -We start out by getting to hear Pastor Cox journey in how he became a leader in the community and what that responsibility means. -As with the times, the heart of our discussion is with the ever evolving Civil Rights movement that has been re-ignited the past 2 months. -A sample of the questions that were asks: What experiences both Pastor Cox and 1st Sgt Will have had with Civil Rights? How should the movement be direct and who should lead it? What fears they have with young marchers? How does MLK Jr. teachings impact their daily life? As weeks and months go by, it will be interesting to hear and see the daily updates to local, state, and national news around issue of race relations in this country; will Pastor Cox and 1st Sgt. Williams answers to those questions become the reality that will be played out? Is a change coming? Contact Pastor Cox @DWorshipcenter on Facebook or by phone (512) 291-6865. Hi Y'all! Today episode guest features the long time Round Rock Icon, Yolanda Sanchez from the Round Rock Ballet Folkloric. Yolanda has been involved with competitive and performance dancing since 1966 in the Austin, Texas area. She has taught 100 hundreds, if not thousands, of young students how to guide their passion to dance into a life-long ability to showcase the gifts each student has. If you like to reach out to Yolanda or want to know more please contact her at 512-659-5667 or at https://www.roundrockballetfolklorico.org This episode was recorded before the riots and protest began across the country. Erin shares her story in making the decision to join the Peace Corps, first hand experience in building economic security through agriculture, and the human connection she builds with her host family. There is so much that stood out in this episode including how far and how much water Erin's host family has to get every single day. Hi Y'all! What a guest we have on this week! We have a conversation with former District Governor of Eastern Montana and current Round Rock LIONS club member, Mrs. Shirley Dillman. It doesn't take long to hear and feel why she is so special to so many. Shirley continues to make a life long commitment as a servant heart well beyond her 40 years of being teacher. I loved every second to this interview of this hardworking cornhusker. Warning, there is a couple points in her story where I try to hide my tears. This could have the same affect of on others. In this episode, we are promoting all small businesses out there. They need our help where we can. I recently spent a little extra at a small running shoe store locally operated. I looked at it as investing in my health, mindset, and looking out for my fellow local friends. Hi Y'All. Once again let's address the serious stuff up front. We're all likely going through some form of lock down right now. Social distancing is one of our most effective ways of dealing with the CoVID19 global pandemic. When we posted the last episode there were some 2.1 million officially reported cases worldwide now there's 3.5 million and hundreds of thousands tragically dead and it is sadly not over yet The impact of CoVID19 on our daily lives will be felt for generations to come. So once again we urge all of you to follow the advice of your recognized local medical experts and adhere to government guidelines in your area. If you can stay home, do so. And just like last time if your government is handing out bonkers advice like injecting disinfectants maybe look to a more sensible world leader. We'd still ask you to remember you will still get to go to your local pub or go on your beach holiday when this is all over but you'll enjoy it a whole lot more if you're not dead. So yes, you might be frustrated and bored of being at home and drinking with your Nan but this is for the good of the many and it doesn't always have to be about you. So this time less barnstorming mid nineties action histrionics and more early 2010's seriousness from the Academy Award winning director of a series of cracker films, Steven Soderbergh. So stay in some more, wash your hands again with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds, put your feet up after you've taken your filthy shoes off, be kind to others and tune into this podcast about an absolutely chilling take on a global pandemic.
Hi Y'all! We are thrilled to have on this week podcast the honorable Judge Alan McGraw. Judge McGraw began his public service career as a Round Rock, Texas Council Member in 2001 and then as Round Rock Mayor for 3 terms. We get to discuss the motivation, challenges, insights, frustrations, and the pride with all those years of public service. The best part is to our chat is Judge McGraw remind us the value of good government; that bond between trust and community is vital to that goal. We, as in I, hope Judge McGraw would consider in possibly running for public office again. The temptation was too great for me not to ask him during our conversation. His answer was resolute to say the least. We want to recognize two local business to the ShareTheWill family. Kelly with www.Kissmycakestx.com is finding new and creative ways to push through the COVID-19 pandemic. Her cake designs are absolutely amazing! I saw on her Facebook page of cakes looking like the Clorox Wipes bottle or Toilet Paper. You can also reach Kelly at 512-550-6084. Second, Julio Olvera from Olvera Bolton Properties https://www.olverabolton.com donated an additional $50 towards a sprouts gift card. We love and thank you Julio in believing in this podcast and the ShareTheWill foundation mission. Julio is a man of character and we hope you consider him for any of your property needs. Julio can be reached by phone 512-909-9968 or email Julio@olverabolton.com If you haven't before, please check out the @LeadingTheWayPodcast on Facebook or on our new Twitter page @Leading_Ranger. I, Michael Curtiss, am currently doing weekly $10 Starbucks e-gift card prizes out of my own wallet. Will and mine philosophy is solving world problems over a cup of coffee. I feel the need to share that spirit to others as much as I can. Follow us through the page to join in on the spirit of friendship and coffee. Wishing All The Best, Michael
Hi Y'all! I came across a remarkable group of women who decided to start a social club where they can feel safe and welcome. Many of the ladies in the club are relatively new to the Austin area while a few have some solid long time roots here. I spoke with two members, Susan and Cat, as they talk about the start-up, events, and bonds created. We even find out how they are able to keep a group of this size (10-30) together. Even during this Covid-19, these ladies are finding creative ways to have events through Zoom. Feel free to copy their ideas!! If you like to get in touch with the group, please reach out to me at either sharethewill@outlook.com or through the Facebook page @leadingthewaypodcast Contact information to Cristina of Truly Well is: IamTrulyWell@gmail.com Instagram: @trulywellayurveda Facebook: Truly Well Ayurveda Be Healthy & Safe, Michael
Hi Y'All. Lets address the serious stuff up front. We're all likely going through some form of lock down right now. Social distancing is one of our most effective ways of dealing with the CoVID19 global pandemic. With at posting this episode some 2.1 million officially reported cases and a tragic number of dead worldwide and its only just starting to slowdown in some regions. The impact of CoVID 19 on our daily lives will be felt for generations to come. With some of you either being affected by the virus itself or by some financial hardship as a direct result of the lock down. So please, we urge all of you to follow the advice of your recognized local medical experts and adhere to government guidelines in your area. Unless those guidelines are absolute bonkers, like lick at the door handles at the public rest room. We'd ask you also to remember you will still get to go to your pub or go on your beach holiday when this is all over but you'll enjoy it a whole lot more if you're not dead. So yes, you might be frustrated and bored of being at home and drinking with your Nan but this is for the good of the many and it doesn't always have to be about you. That said, don't tell Dustin Hoffman any of this as he kicks virus ass all the way through this flick with virtually no thought for the safety of others in this fun little 90's romp from the director a coupe of much better movies, Wolfgang Peterson. So stay in, wash your hands with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds, put your feet up after you've taken your filthy shoes off, be kind to others and tune into this podcast about an absolute banger of a 90's film.
Hi Y'all! We are honor to showcase a large and dedicated group of young ladies willing to show up and make a difference. Time and time again, community events such as the Texas School for the Deaf Pancake Breakfast would not be a success without all the volunteers like Zoi Ora Filos. Yet that is not the only event they do. This episode finds out the who and the how these young women teaches us adults a few new tricks when it comes to organization. As we find out, Zoi Ora Filos in Greek means, "Lifetime Friends." At the introduction, we heard from Mr Julio Olvera in demonstrating the meaning of lifetime friends. His volunteer attitude to step up to the plate to, A) show trust in ShareTheWill, B) looking out for another small business, C) giving compassion to others; are all reasons why we, ShareTheWill, consider Mr. Julio Olvera a lifetime friend. Please check him out at https://www.facebook.com/brokerjuliocolvera/ or www.olverabolton.com. If nothing else, give him a shout of appreciation. The NEW Facebook page is up and running! Hi Y'all! If you think self quarantine from the coronavirus is going to stop the Healthy Kids Running Series (HKRS) you be wrong! Our guest today is the Round Rock HKRS coordinator, Jen Henderson. With her husband Clint, they work hard for their two children and numerous others young ones to inspire them to be healthy and active. This interview was record at the end of February in prep for their up-coming season of races. Unfortunately, like everything else, adjustments had to be made. In the pre-interview introduction, Jen explains how they are able to continue on with the much needed races to burn off the extra energy from self-quarantine while practicing social distancing. Hi Y'all! Have you ever made a friend who helped shape your life? That would be how I describe my friendship to Mr. (DJ) Brandon Shabazz. DJ Brandon is an open book guy willing to be real with his story and trust his gut to do the right thing. In this episode, we touch on his experience in having a Vietnam Veteran father, losing his only sibling, and starting a family at the young age on 21. Even through all that, Brandon found his way to having a servant heart. The part I enjoy the most in this podcast episode is that I get to Pop Quiz the "DJ" to see if he knows his music :-) If you want to reach out to Brandon, you can reach him either at brandon@shabazz.net or www.premieraustindjs.com Follow ShareTheWill on Facebook or Sharethewill.org Email: sharethewill@outlook.com Michael

Hi Y'all! With the stars aligning deep in the heart of Texas, my new neighbor happens to be a certified wellness coach. With 2020 underway, what better way to start than to have a conversation about mindfulness and healthy practices. Ellie's story is too inspiring to which I had no choice in sharing with the ShareTheWill community. I loved every second of our discussion and reinforce the spirit that a healthy body is a healthy mind. I know if I want to do my best for ShareTheWill, then I have to do what's also best for my mind and body. I hope y'all will take the "plunge" into this conversation and come out better on the other side. If you like what Ellie has to say or want to know more about her; check out her webpage at www.mindfulbellie.com or her podcast "Don't Eat Your Feelings: Mindfulbellie." As to the Pancake Breakfast coming up, please check out https://sharethewill.org/calendar Welcome to the ShareTheWill Family: www.kissmycakes.com Enjoy! Michael
Hi Y'all! With the beautiful backdrop of the City of Austin, I visited the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) in having a conversation with Ms. Keena Miller from TSD. Keena has become a great friend and is a leader in the community for everything she does. In less than a month, ShareTheWill and the Texas School for the Deaf will be hosting a pancake breakfast in support of students at the school. We get into both Keena background of her big heart and how she does all the things she does. Even more, we talk History of the School and some amazing stories of what the students at the school are able to do. Near the end of the episode, you will hear a heart warming message from "The Sheriff" in his appreciate of what the Rangers are able to do on the football field. *A quick fact check on myself-The Texas School for the Deaf was the only school to stay open during the Civil War, not World War II, which makes it the oldest and longest operated school in the state of Texas since 1856. Pancake Breakfast is on February 1st, 2020 at the TSD cafeteria. 1102 South Congress Avenue. Doors open at 7:30AM and will serve until 1PM. There will be entertainment starting around 10AM. Tickets are $7 a person or 4 for $25. You can donate via Venmo username Will-Williams-78. You can mark your calendar by going to https://sharethewill.org/calendar or visit https://www.tsd.state.tx.us Enjoy the Show! -Michael
Liz Rau is definitely an oddball with quirky humor and varied interests. She's an author, a cat lady, a vegan, a wanderlust traveler, Missouri raised and a Colorado implant. Some would call her a dreamer, others would say she's obsessed with pop culture and reality TV. But mostly, she's a chatterbox who loves to learn about history, culture, art and wine. Oh, and did I mention Liz is one epic cat lady? Join Liz on her podcast journey and start listening today!
Hi Y'all! In this episode we dive into Diveristy with Evi Triantafyllides, the founder of World Wide Buddies. In this episode we talk about approaching diversity through learning about other cultures, through identifying similarities and difference, and by seeing diversity of all types (not just race and/or religion). We also talk about curiosity, play, perspective, and bias, and how each play a role when talking about, learning about, and teaching our little ones about diversity.

Hi Y'all, I am so sorry I haven't been updating y'all on the blog lately, but feel free to follow me on Instagram (jordanschilleci) or Facebook (jordanschillecirealtor) to stay in the loop. I promise to get back to the podcast regularly, but until then.. For the last 9 days I have been waking up to work out. Eight of those days I have woken up at 4:45 (or earlier) to attended the 5:15 AM class at Delta Life Fitness (Klein-Spring). If you haven't tried out their gym (women only), you really should. Most of the classes have built-in childcare! Any who.. After class today, I interviewed the Operations Manager for the Delta Life Fitness corporation, Christin Cherry. She has grown to be my friend, so don't mind the giggles. Lol. Love y'all,
Hi Y'all, Yep, that's right, no "good morning", because it is PM right now and not AM.. Lol. I didn't really get to it in the episode, but the main reason I didn't record, was because Cameron and I woke up early together to do some homework of hers that was due the day before, but she misplaced. Then the sub-reason was my poor attitude and the events of the last two days, but oh well, here I am. To the shooooow notes.. #SHOWNOTES MY LIFE #YTT [Great morning. Turn of events. Lunch. Love my friend Jenna. Target. Starbucks. Kids. Home. Fed them. Gym. Sprouts for essential oils. Seafood dinner. Came home. Mixed my oils. Frankincense in the diffuser, and homemade thieves on my chest. Woke up feeling 10x better. Sprayed Mister Lincoln with some. Nail salon. Errands. Volunteering at the kids' school. Grocery store. Dinner.] #TODAYSGOALS [Make everybody happy.] Love y’all.
Hi Y'all...it's just me, Sue, on this one. I wanted to share with you what the Lord has been doing in my life. I was questioning if I should continue with the podcast and if so, what will that look like? I explain it all here...complete with my own story of reckoning with the Lord. Listen in to find out the state of the podcast. And why.
