RICH CELENZA talks about how people do may realize the shoes/boots that their wear has such a profound effect on their lifestyle. Not only does it have an effect when it comes to how they look, but also what the shoe/boot is doing their foot and body. People need to pay attention to the quality of the shoe and boot to make sure it is not having a negative effect on different areas of their body besides just their feet. People really need to pay attention to this because if you wear the wrong style (or cheap) shoes/boots you may be setting yourself up for a lot of pain in the future.

WE'RE BACK! We were gone for a while so we have decided to return to the realm of regular podcasting with a big one. Screenwriter extraordinaire Liz Hannah (The Post, Long Shot, Mindhunter) joins us to talk about Michael Mann's extraordinary whistleblower drama THE INSIDER. There is so much to dig in with this one from Pacino bringing the Heat(get it), Russel Crowe's status a movie star, its seven Academy Awards nominations, and an absolutely cracking screenplay based on true events which we were more than excited to get to talk to Liz about. It was such a blast having Kenny back and Liz as a guest so we went long on this one cause there are no corporate lackeys to edit us. We hope you enjoy!

Oh Behave! Phil and Kenny swing into the groovy movie that may have killed Mike Meyers’ shaggadelic career! Guess he didn’t make us horny, baby! Get in their belly as they discuss how whether this movie is more or less pleasurable than a kick to the mummy-daddy button! Does Heather Graham’s Felicity Shagwell age well?! Does mini-me still tickle you?! Can a movie constructed completely of recycled jokes work?! The surprising answers to these and other randy questions await you in this eeeevil episode of Podcast Like Its 1999!
Chill with Phil Is Cold, “The Iceman Kenneth” Neibart and special guest “Cold Weather” Hunter Covington (Alone Together, It’s Always Sunny...) as they defrost the frozen dialogue, icy chemistry and slippery logic of Chill Factor starring “Ice Cube”-a Gooding Jr. and “Ski”-t Ulrich.
In Part 2 of the Julia Roberts-Valentine’s day two-fer, Phil and Kenny are once again joined by Corinne Stikeman and Melissa Lora, though one or both of them might Runaway before the podcast is over, because that’s what women do, amiright Garry Marshall? Also in this episode, the four give their picks for the top five romantic comedies of all time!
In this episode Phil and Kenny dive into “Deep Blue Sea,” either the dumbest or most brilliant movie of 1999. Don’t believe us? This is a movie about a supermodel scientist (Saffron Burrows) who convinces a preppy billionaire (Samuel L. Jackson) that her team of genetical engineers (including Michael Rappaport) has found the cure for Alzheimer’s disease by genetically mutating sharks, which quickly turn against their creators. LL Cool J is a heroic chef. Thomas Jane is a heroic... good swimmer(?). And, for better or worse, Phil and Kenny are enraptured by this piece of movie magic.
Join Phil and Kenny as they take you back to 1999, by way of 1950s Italy, in Anthony Minghella's "The Talented Mr. Ripley." Why does "Ripley" hold up better than most 1999 films? Is this Matt Damon's best performance ever? Why didn't Jude Law become the star he was destined to be? Why was this movie largely ignored, yet still endures in ways other 1999 films haven't?
Drugs! Raves! Ecstasy! Vegas! Amway! Let's go back to the go-go 90s in Doug Liman's "Go." In what ways did Liman and screenwriter John August go right and go wrong? Are we going to see a more 1999 movie than "Go?" How did go for the young stars of "Go" in "Go?" And where did all of those go-getters go after "Go?" Go with Phil and Kenny as they go ahead and discuss "Go!"
In this episode, Phil and Kenny mosey on over to Barry Sonnenfeld's steampunk (?) Western (?) comedy (?) "Wild Wild West." Was the film deserving of the wagon-load of Razzies it took home in 1999? Is Will Smith and Kevin Kline the worst on-screen pairing of the year? Was there a hidden brilliance to Kenneth Branagh's performance as a legless man obsessed with mechanical spiders? And what exactly was Salma Hayek even doing there? Mount up and well tell you the tale of the biggest bomb of 1999.
Phil and Kenny dive into the deep end to discuss and dissect Stanley Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut." Is this film a masterpiece or merely an excuse for a 20 minute masked orgy? Was the 400 day continuous shoot the reason Tom and Nicole's marriage ended, or was it the deeply troubling depiction of a marriage in crisis? And how just much psychological abuse is permittable? Are the rules different when it comes from a master? Phil and Kenny break it all down on Episode 1 of "Podcast like its 1999."
