The energy around falsehood is dark. It is squirmy, it is weird. It carries its own negative energy. People know when something isn't right, even if they don't know exactly what's wrong, we know that something's not right.   - Kellan Fluckiger Listen to more episodes of Your Ultimate Life: your-ultimate-life-by-kellan-fluckiger.simplecast.com In this episode you’ll discover:What is Truth? Truth is what you know to be real. It's knowledge as a scriptural definition that says it's knowledge of things as they are and as they are to come. But the point there is it's knowing something that is true. That indeed happened and exists. Why it Matters? Well, we could go into a long philosophical conversation about why it matters. And let's just look at some straightforward things. Mark Twain said, Tell the truth, there's less to remember. There is that, and even if you're blessed or cursed with a spectacular memory, you remember all the lies you tell, telling the truth is purifying. Because then there is nothing to remember. But, the ultimate reason why it matters is that people can depend on your word. How to Live it?  It’s simple, living in a place of absolute truth where every time I open my mouth, it's truth, and I can depend on it. I'm not trying to shade it or mess with it. That builds a current set of energy and situation, and it also works toward creating repair. And if ever you have said something untrue. Just say, Oh, wait a minute, that's not exactly what I meant. That's not quite right. And just get in the habit of correcting things that are the tiniest bit untrue. Always lead yourself to tell the truth. My final remarks: Those are really simple steps. Talk less. Be careful, a lot more cautious, and considered what you say and fix everything. The instant it comes out of your mouth is not right. Those are three simple steps, but they are the beginning. They are the beginning of learning to create your ultimate life by being honest and telling only the truth. There's more to it, and it's a lot deeper than that. I can tell you that the beauty, power, love, and contentment that comes into life from being honest cannot be described, and it is a giant piece of creating your ultimate life.Key Takeaways: It starts with a choice, and you say I'm never going to speak anything false again.  - Kellan FluckigerThe first and easiest way to do that might be to shut up and stop talking so much. Talk less. Take space before you speak. - Kellan FluckigerWhen you speak the truth, it carries power. It sounds like the truth, it feels like truth, and so it brings power. - Kellan Fluckiger The fastest way to find your purpose is truth. So it matters. If you're trying to create a mission or live into one, it matters if you're trying to create prosperity. There is nothing joyful, about non-truth untruth lies - Kellan FluckigerThink about what you're saying when you choose to speak, slow down, slow down, and consider what you're going to say. When you say something that isn't quite right, fix it instantly. - Kellan FluckigerConnect with Kellan on your favorite platforms:Facebook: www.facebook.com/kellan.fluckiger3YouTube: www.youtube.com/c/ultimatelifeformulaLinkedIn:  https://www.linkedin.com/in/kellanfluckigerTwitter:  https://twitter.com/kellanfluckigerYou can find out more about Kellan and how he can help you achieve your ultimate life by checking out his website.Subscribe to the podcast on Apple, Spotify, Google Podcasts, iHeartRADIO or anywhere else you listen to your podcasts. If you haven't already, please rate and review the podcast on  Apple Podcasts

Exodus 20:16 says “Do not testify falsely against your neighbor.” Fact: Humans don’t always tell the truth. Do we know how to tell the truth? Of course we do, but sometimes the truth escapes us unfortunately. How can we tell the truth? Notes:Exodus 20:16 "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor." Survey Said 66% Of Americans Say It's Not Wrong To Tell Lies. Only 31% Agreed W/ Statement, "Honesty Is The Best Policy." Dr. Leonard Keeler (Inventor Of Lie Detector) Has Tested 25K People & Has Come To Conclusion Human Beings Are Basically Deceptive. How Can We Be Honest In A Dishonest World? HOW TO TELL THE TRUTH 1. TELL THE TRUTH COMPLETELY Proverbs 10:10 "Someone who holds back the truth [Concealing] causes trouble." What Kind Of Trouble? Employer / Teacher / Spouse... Couples That Hold Back Truth and Sweep Issues Under Carpet Are Headed For Trouble. Proverbs 28:23 "In the end people appreciate frankness more than flattery." Telling the truth may be unpleasant at first. For instance if an employee is goofing off on the job and you have to reprimand or fire them, they may not appreciate what happens, but it may help the to c their character in the long run. 2. TELL THE TRUTH CONSISTENTLY Being Honest 80% Of The Time Is NOT Integrity Proverbs 11:3 "People who can't be trusted are destroyed by their own dishonesty." Lying Destroys relationships. Every relationship is built on one thing-- TRUST! If you destroy trust, you destroy the relationship. Proverbs 13:7 "Reliable communication permits progress." When a couple has dealt with the same old problems for years and there's no progress, it's because someone is not being honest. 3. TELL THE TRUTH LOVINGLY Ephesians 4:15 "Speak the truth in a spirit of LOVE." DON'T use the truth as a club! REMEMBER TWO THINGS: 1. People change faster when you speak the truth in a spirit of love. 2. People perceive truth without love as an attack. It doesn't matter whether what you’re saying is the truth, they are certain to resist it. Old Arab Proverb: when you shoot an arrow dip it in honey first. 4. TELL THE TRUTH TACTFULLY – There is a right time, place or way to have the conversation. It’s not at midnight right before you go to bed! Remember Proverbs 12:18 "Thoughtless words can wound as deeply as any sword. But wisely spoken words can heal." You have an option in how you use your words: you can hurt or heal; develop or destroy. Words have Power. Remember the rhyme "Sticks & Stones..." Proverbs 16:23 "Intelligent people THINK before they SPEAK." WHY DO WE LIE? FIVE TYPES OF LIES / MOTIVES: 1. THE CRUEL LIE this is the kind of lie that is intentionally destructive / malicious / revenge. Somebody hurt you so you make up a lie about them. The Sadducees did this to Jesus. They called him a “drunkard who associates with sinners!” Motive? Jealousy, revenge, hurt, anger, hate, resentment. 2. THE COWARDLY LIE The cowardly lie is usually told to escape consequences or avoid punishment. "MY DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK." Adam in the Garden of Eden used this tact because he was afraid. 3. THE CONCEITED LIE The conceited lie is usually told in order to impress. Bragging and lying are cousins. Motive? Insecurity. What comes off

One of the most common misquotes attributed to Benjamin Franklin is “A penny saved is a penny earned.” It’s close, but it’s not Franklin. Franklin is best known as one of the foremost founders of a new nation. He helped define the American spirit through his wit and wisdom. Nationally recognized scholar on his business practices, Dr. Blaine McCormick, says Franklin is often misquoted.
