On today's episode Maria talks about Pacific Rim Uprising, the new movie starring John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Charlie Day, Burn Gorman, and more. Pacific Rim Uprising is the sequel to the original film which came out in 2013, and was directed by Guillermo Del Toro. The unique universe of Pacific Rim saw some changes with this brand new story, which was directed by Daredevil's Steven S. DeKnight. Pacific Rim Uprising shares the story of Jake Pentecost, a once jaeger pilot whose father served as a pilot and gave his life to save the human race from the Kaiju. After his father's death, Jake quit his training and became a petty thief.
