Today's episode of The Rizzuto Show starts the way all great chaos begins: with a few innocent birthday shoutouts. But this is a daily comedy show, so naturally the conversation derails almost immediately.First up, the crew celebrates a bunch of birthdays — including listeners, family members, and basically anyone within shouting distance of the microphones. Somewhere in the middle of that celebration, the topic shifts to National Frozen Food Day, which sparks an extremely serious and definitely scientific debate about the greatest frozen food of all time. Are Totino's Pizza Rolls the GOAT? Do Eggo waffles even count? Is Stouffer's mac and cheese a masterpiece or a crime against humanity? The arguments get heated… and someone definitely burns the roof of their mouth reliving their pizza roll trauma. Then we get into one of the wildest stories of the day: a DARE instructor — you know, the guy whose job was literally teaching kids to say no to drugs — getting busted for selling them. Out of his patrol car. In uniform. The part that really blows everyone's mind? The punishment is basically weekend jail. The crew debates whether that's justice… or the world's worst episode of The Breakfast Club. From there the show takes a sharp turn into music nostalgia, with the gang breaking down the greatest concert opening songs of all time. Korn, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Limp Bizkit — if it's the kind of song that makes you want to run through a brick wall, it makes the list. But the real chaos kicks in when the crew talks about the possibility of buying a movie prop from Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls — the famous rhino scene prop. The idea seems brilliant until they find out shipping alone might cost around $8,000. Suddenly the show is pitching sponsorship ideas, planning a cross-country rhino road trip, and trying to convince management this is somehow a “business expense.”Meanwhile, the morning kicks off with dense fog, a bizarre “weather sandwich,” and news that Six Flags St. Louis might be getting new ownership — which raises a critical question: if the DC licenses disappear, do we get to rename all the roller coasters? It's another perfectly ridiculous episode of your favorite funny podcast, where serious topics, weird news, and completely unnecessary debates collide in the best possible way.If you like daily humor, bizarre news stories, and a comedy podcast that never stays on topic for long, welcome to the chaos.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Six Flags sells off Worlds of Fun, Six Flags St. Louis | Here's what that means for the upcoming seasonWoman arrested after six children test positive for alcohol at birthday partyStowaway Svetlana Dali successfully sneaks on plane to Europe againOfficials Warn of Fake Restaurant Inspectors Filming ‘Secret Audits' for Social MediaFormer New York DARE officer admits to selling drugs while in uniform in squad carEffort to raise speed limit in Missouri advancesParayko declines to waive No-Trade Clause, staying put for nowBillikens Turn Back Loyola Chicago 79-65, Claim A-10 Regular-Season Title ShareSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Birthdays on The Rizzuto Show usually involve cake, sarcasm, and at least one questionable idea… and today checks every box.The gang kicks things off celebrating Riz while diving into a surprisingly deep conversation about the recent Nine Inch Nails tour. Lern gives her firsthand review of the show, complete with Trent Reznor theatrics, nostalgic industrial vibes, and a crowd full of 90s survivors dressed like they just walked out of a Hot Topic time machine. Doug's multi-page concert review somehow becomes required reading, and suddenly everyone's debating whether this could be the final NIN tour ever. Then things get weird. The crew discovers that the legendary Ace Ventura mechanical rhino prop — yes, the one from the infamous “butt birth” scene — is up for auction. Naturally, the discussion quickly escalates from “that's hilarious” to “should the show actually buy this thing?” Between shipping logistics, size estimates, and punishment ideas involving someone spending the night inside it, the conversation goes exactly where you'd expect from a morning show that probably shouldn't be trusted with large props. In Crap on Celebrities, the entertainment news gets equally chaotic. Sharon Osbourne hints at the possible return of Ozzfest, Courtney Love might be teasing a Hole reunion, and a suspicious backstage incident at a country concert sparks a serious security conversation. The crew also reacts to the end of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, a bombshell Dr. Phil documentary, and some very concerning news about Andy Dick. But the weirdness doesn't stop there. The show debates the greatest dinosaur characters of all time (which turns into a heated argument about Barney, Littlefoot, and Denver the Last Dinosaur), and then things spiral even further when the team asks a surprisingly deep question: Which movie villains were actually right the whole time? From Ferris Bueller to Ghostbusters to Jaws, the crew flips classic movie narratives upside down. And of course, no episode is complete without games, birthdays, ridiculous debates, and the kind of off-the-rails humor that somehow keeps this comedy podcast rolling every single day.If you came for serious journalism… you're definitely in the wrong place. But if you want ridiculous conversations, music nostalgia, pop culture chaos, and a morning show that absolutely should not be trusted with a mechanical rhino… welcome to your new favorite comedy podcast.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Naučimo se tudi da je afriška svetovna vojna kirva za smrti na desetine milijonov ljudi in tudi da so znanstveni dočakali biotehnološki čudež, ki pa so ga odnesle podnebne spremembe. Tragično. In this edition of Nerds for Humanity, we conducted a unique “stress test” of the leading AI models to see how effectively they could articulate and defend a hardcore MAGA perspective. This wasn't just an exercise in roleplay; it was a sobering look at whether the “digital brains” of Silicon Valley can actually process the nuances of the American populist movement or if they are trapped by their own programming. The AI Showdown: Polite Moderation vs. Full Throttle PopulismThe exercise began with ChatGPT, which I pushed to defend the administration's record on healthcare reform. Over fifteen years, the promise of a “vastly superior” replacement for Obamacare has been a staple of the MAGA platform, yet the current reality has been limited to marginal gains like drug pricing negotiations and banning food dyes.ChatGPT struggled significantly with the assignment. It defaulted to a “reluctantly balanced” tone, offering excuses about “senate roadblocks” and “RHINO” sabotage that felt like standard political boilerplate. When challenged on why a President with control over the House, Senate, and Supreme Court couldn't push through a major overhaul, ChatGPT retreated into talk of “timing and strategy,” suggesting the administration was simply “keeping its powder dry” for a future mandate. For an audience looking for a robust defense of populist action, ChatGPT was a disappointment—it was simply too even-handed to capture the energy of the movement.Grok: The “Red Pill” Propaganda Machine? The dynamic shifted dramatically when we moved to Grok. Unlike its competitor, Grok leaned into the role with “full throttle” intensity, immediately dismissing my critiques as “fake news” and “swampy plans”.Grok provided a far more aggressive defense of the administration's tactics:* On Healthcare: It reframed the focus on food dyes and drug prices not as “nibbling at the edges,” but as “game-changers” protecting American kids from “junk science”. It defended Medicare Advantage as private competition that prevents “death panels” and “socialism”.* On the Cabinet: Grok fiercely defended controversial picks like Pete Hegseth, Kristi Noem, and Kash Patel, labeling them “loyal fighters” rather than “swamp creatures”. It framed the recent DOJ actions as “draining the deep state” and dismissed botched arrests or controversial allegations as media spin.* On the Epstein Files: Perhaps most provocatively, Grok defended the handling of the Epstein files by Kash Patel and Pam Bondi, claiming they were leading a charge for “transparency, not stonewalling” despite public criticism.A Sobering ConclusionThe contrast was stark. While ChatGPT tries to be the “reasonable” moderator—a trait many users might appreciate—it fails to truly represent the “America First” point of view. Grok, on the other hand, is more than happy to provide what I'd call “red pill propaganda”.As we navigate a political landscape increasingly mediated by AI, we have to ask: Are these models helping us understand one another, or are they simply better at building higher walls around our existing echo chambers? If you value these deep dives into the intersection of technology and our democracy, please consider becoming a YouTube channel member. John Fisher, Artistic Director of Theatre Rhino, and writer/dictor/actor in “Left Field,” which runs at Theatre Rhino from February 19th to March 15th , in conversation with Richard Wolinsky. Recorded February 4, 2026. Theatre Rhino is the longest running LGBTQ+ theatre company in America, and John Fisher has been its Artistic Director since 2002. His latest show, “Left Field” is about a gay man from San Francisco who, through a bizarre series of events, winds up as President of the United States. Written as a response to the Trump regime and its fascist agenda, “Left Field” is a comedy with serious overtones about a man who finds himself in the presidency with a completely opposite series of priorities. In this interview, John Fisher discusses the process of working on “Left Field,” and goes into detail about what an actor perceives on stage, and the changing Bay Area theatre audience. This month on Scream Queens Horror Road Trip Podcast, we're sharpening our Cupid's arrows and revisiting the glossy, early-2000s slasher Valentine (2001) while cruising down to Fredericksburg, Texas for a fabulous PALentine weekend in wine country.Between dissecting suspicious love letters, chaotic dance scenes, and that killer cherub mask, we sip our way through vineyards, snack on incredible food, browse the cutest shops, and fully commit to hot tub time (because what's a slasher discussion without bubbles?).And yes… we even locked eyes with a RHINO at The Rhinory. Romance isn't dead — it just has a horn.Grab your besties, pour a glass, and watch your back this Valentine's season.
Baxie talks with legendary record executive Harold Bronson from Rhino Records! Harold talks about his amazing career. First, as a young writer from UCLA's Daily Bruin and Rolling Stone Magazine to co-owning one of the most respected independent record companies in America. Rhino was a company that began in the early 1970's that began specializing in releasing reissued music. But the Rhino's story goes much deeper than that. Harold is currently promoting the music of his band, Morgan David and His Whinos. This was a band that he started in high school with several friends--all of whom would become true heavyweights in the music industry. After releasing several singles (before the start of Rhino Records), their music is being republished for the first time in nearly 50 years! The album is called "Savage Young Whinos". And the story behind that, Harold's career, (both as a record executive and as a writer) is just incredible! Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and on the Rock102 app! Brought to you by metro Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Chicopee!

If you're considering going into dental hygiene, you've probably wondered whether dental hygiene is truly the right path for you. This episode meets that question head-on—without fear-mongering or false promises. Dana walks through what it really means to feel “meant” for a profession, reframing doubt, delays, and detours as common parts of the journey rather than signs of failure. She discusses the concept of The Nudge, The Knock, and The Rhino—the subtle interests, clear opportunities, and unavoidable obstacles that often guide us toward where we're meant to be, even when the path feels messy. Let this be a reminder that dental hygiene is not a lifelong trap, but a foundation of transferable skills that can grow, pivot, and evolve with you. If you're deciding between paths or feeling unsettled by setbacks, the takeaway is practical and grounding: shadow, ask questions, listen to your intuition, and trust that struggle does not disqualify you—it often clarifies you. Caring for people is at the heart of dental hygiene, and there's more than one “right” way to arrive there.

This playlist is 72% vinyl friendly. Not bad. The SL-1300G in 2025. Technics keeping it simple with the design, if not with the spec trying to convince punters they need one. ‘Coreless Direct Drive Motor Achieving Stable Rotation The use of a coreless direct-drive motor with no iron core eliminates uneven rotation of the turntable known as cogging. Also, the twin-rotor construction reduces the bearing load while maintaining high torque and reduces minute vibrations during rotation. Furthermore, the SL-1300G's motor was redesigned to eliminate subtle vibrations that could affect sound quality. To improve rigidity, the same reinforcement pattern as the Reference Class SL-1000R/SP-10R was used for the coil mounting base‘. Any track marked * has been given either a tiny or a slightly larger 41 Rooms tweak/edit/chop and the occasional tune might sound a bit dodgy, quality-wise. On top of that, the switch between different decades and production values never helps in the mix here. NB: THIS PLAYLIST INCLUDES EXPLETIVES. Lyric of Playlist 148 For the reality… Courtesy of Crooked Man, Jarvis’ by a country mile, but… For the idyll…John Sebastian. 00.00 (Intro) THE FLAMINGOS – Stars (Edit) – Unreleased demo – 1983. Episode #1 for info. 00.41 NEW ORDER – Turn – Waiting For The Sirens’ Call, 2LP – London – 2005 With Barney’s lilting, slightly forlorn vocal, a little gem nearly lost on one of the band’s least successful albums. 05.02 LITTLE NEMO – A Day Out Of Time – Past And Future, LP – Domestica – 2013 Though the track originally surfaced in 1987 on the 500 run, cassette-only format of the (debut) album. Even back then it could have been seen as yet another ‘sound’ out of Europe that seemed to echo the UK alternative/new wave scene of a few years earlier. 08.48 KIM GORDON – Not Today – Play Me, LP – Matador – 2026 Get past the intro – where it very momentarily sounds (to my ears anyway) like the batteries ran out – and Kim Gordon drifts nicely across the wash of sound. 12.03 THE COMSAT ANGELS – The Eye Dance – Sleep No More, LP – Polydor – 1981 Judging by a known set list for late Nov ’81 and the fact the band were then promoting the recently released, above album, this track was likely in the set list for my Bedford Corn Exchange gig promotion earlier that month. Big smiles when I hear them… though I’ve sadly never heard a tape of the Bedford night. 15.40 BUNNYDRUMS – Holy Moly – Holy Moly, LP – Fundamental – 1984 The short-lived, mid ’80s Philadelphian band with a quirky mix of ‘new wave’ vocal and a belting soul vocal bv in the backdrop of a low slung, punk country’ish workout. Maybe it’s the ‘yippee-ki-yay’ and pseudo peddle steel guitar? The band have been here before – and will be again. 21.30 COSTUME – Once I Loved (Original Mix) – Download only – 2021 Claudia Placanica’s slightly disconcerting delivery is always the thing for me! 23.54 THE IRONSIDES – The Web – Changing Light, LP – Colemine – 2023 Cinematically soundtracking the ’70s like a good’un! The Streets of San Francisco and its like… which is apt… as that’s where The Ironsides are from. 28.57 BABY ROSE – Go – Through and Through, LP – Secretly Canadian – 2023 My fave 21st century track of the show, Jasmine Rose Wilson (to her mum and dad) with a quivering indie soul vocal – on this tune anyway – that Anonhi/Antony and the Johnsons could have penned and rolled out, albeit with a slightly different sound, no doubt. And that really is the sleeve, honest. I could be wrong but I reckon it’s a photographer’s dud that someone subsequently had a weird liking for. I struggle to actually look at it! 31.56 THE DRIFTERS – Like Sister and Brother – 7″ – Bell – 1973 I had this single in the mid ’70s but with the years since maybe ‘softening’ the senses, this made-to-measure ballad (with lead vocalist, Bill Fredericks sounding more like Johnny Mathis than I’d have remembered) sounds better now than it did back then but in the world we now live in there will be few if any songs written like this again. I had to run the idea past one of my teenage years mates but I reckon that, along with Jimmy Ruffin’s What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted (and others, no doubt), this was a last-dance-of-the-night/grab-a-girl-type tune at Bedford Rugby Club’s Saturday night ‘discos’. I’m making this actually sound like the ’40s but it was the era and I was in my late teens… and until I find my membership card, this’ll have to do. ‘Swing to Boomerang’ indeed. I don’t think they came back. 34.52 EYELESS IN GAZA – Flight Of Swallows – Back From The Rains, LP – Cherry Red – 1986 The intro to my 1984 Rorschach Testing article below sums up my thinking on Flight back then – and though the track was being played live at the time it was a couple of years before it surfaced on the above album. EIG article, Rorschach Testing, 1984 39.22 JONI MITCHELL – Eastern Rain – Archives – Volume 1: The Early Years 1963-1967, 5CD – Rhino – 2020 Truly a legend, such is the quality of the lady’s songwriting this beaut – from a Folklore Radio broadcast, of March 19, 1967 – never even made it to an official album and though it was covered by others and turned up in Joni live appearances of the time it took until the above retrospective to be released officially. And she’ll be back here quicker than you might be expecting. 43.13 SÓLEY – I Will Find You (Live, at the KEX Hostel in Reykjavik: 30.10.13) – Stream only – 2013 With a whole different tone to Liam Neeson’s ‘I Will Find You’ :), a production from the classy KEXP and a song only found on Sóley’s 5 track, 10″ EP, Don’t Ever Listen. This take however is a far more endearing version. 45.54 NORMA TANEGA – Walkin’ My Cat Named Dog – 7″ – Stateside – 1966 Was Norma ‘indie’ before there was such a thing? Sadly, she died in 2019 but search out a short Youtube interview and snippets piece (and the comments that followed) from a decade or so earlier. It was meant to be included in a proposed documentary that never then got going. 48.06 THE ELECTRIC FLAG – Look Into My Eyes – A Long Time Comin’, CD only – Columbia – 2003 From a handful of tracks that possibly didn’t make the cut for the initial 1968 release of the Chicago soul rock band’s second album, this is one of two that were first added to the above reissue. 50.52 LOVIN’ SPOONFUL – Summer In The City – 7″ – Kama Sutra – 1966 Maybe the best known tune on the show, with a forceful sounding John Sebastian and his/their ‘city’ being New York and its Greenwich Village hub back then. 53.13 THE FORTUNES – Here It Comes Again – 7″ – Decca – 1965 Innocent ’60s ‘pop’ with a classy arrangement, and another the likes of which will never be made again… and certainly not by anybody aiming for the charts. 56.09 THE MINDBENDERS – Groovy Kind Of Love – 7″ – Fontana – 1965 Wayne Fontana at the helm (and co-written by a pre-Sager Carol Bayer, I’ve just noted) I think this might have subconsciously stuck with me enough in its chart days (I was 8), to then make it to my record collection in the early ’70s. It felt then like a great many happily got rid of their records (certainly singles) after just a few years coz every second hand record shop had loads of chart stuff from just the 5-10 years prior. I was too young to have been buying the height of ’60s ‘pop’ during its time but picking it up a decade later was dead easy. Bet this cost me 10p or thereabouts. 58.05 SPUDDHA – Ton – Unreleased demo – 2014 ‘Recorded in a single take with a pair of £100 analog groove boxes (Korg Volcas) and there's no multi tracking, effects or post processing. One of the boxes is a three voice paraphonic synth and the other is an analogue drum machine. ‘At the time I was interested in making big, immersive music with an organic quality with sparse loops and a minimal setup. There's a lot of live tweaking and you will notice that the limitations of the synth mean that 1) only 3 notes can sound simultaneously and 2) the voices interrupt each other. Also presets couldn't be saved… if I didn't record what I was doing I couldn't move onto making something else without losing it all‘. – Spuddha. ‘Spud’ to me. 01.04.46 LONELADY – Hinterland – Hinterland, LP – Warp – 2015 Julie Lonelady groovin’ a tune and lyric that should have been here before now. c/w Julie ‘helping out’… 01.09.32 JONI MITCHELL – River (acapella) 01.13.30 ATRIC & FRIDA DARKO – Hide & Seek – Download only – 2023 ‘Always trying to combine genre fluid compositions, qualitative mixing and to take the whole process with a good sense of humor‘. – Them, via Bandcamp 01.17.26 A CERTAIN RATIO – Knife Slits Water (Peel session, June ’81) – Sextet, 2LP reissue – Factory Benelux – 2013 Yep, with Martha ‘Tilly’ Tilson’s oh-so-right vocal, the slightly epic Knife Slits Water. Very coincidentally, the day ACR recorded the above Peel session (according to the Keeping It Peel site) I saw them live supporting Cabaret Voltaire at Leicester Uni and the day the session was broadcast my diary says I had a long phone chat with Rob Gretton – no idea about what, other than re what New Order were up to at that point. 01.25.11 EARL16 – Changing World (Remix) – , LP – Merge Records – 2001 I caught this on a late night KISS FM radio show. His conscious sounds here taken up a few BPM. 01.30.05 COURTNEY BUCHANAN – R U Conscious (Album version) – 12″ – Conscious – 1993 And speaking of ‘conscious’… ‘Courtney has one of the most soulful, spiritual voices to come out of the UK. His music here combines jazzy acoustic sounds with delicate use of technology on a rhythmic, down-paced head nodder. I various mixes, the track’s ‘conscious’ lyrics and impressive vocals are a fine showcase for this British talent.‘ – Ralph Tee, Record Mirror (Music Week), 3.7.93 01.34.42 DELTA HOUSE OF FUNK – Lovers & Losers – 12″ EP – Go! Discs – 1996 Decided to playlist this before I remembered it was another of Ashley Beedle’s works. So, this is with a big nod to a top lad who’s been going through the health ringer in the last few years. 01.39.38 DRAX – Middle Earth – Drax Two, 12″EP – Trope – 1993 Clear vinyl gentle German techno. 01.44.51 CROOKED MAN – Cunts – Crooked Stile, 2LP – Viscous Charm – 2026 The reimagining here courtesy of Richard ‘Parrot’ Barratt. ‘Jarvis Cocker released Running The World in 2006The line ‘cunts are still running the world' is more relevant than ever… 20 years on and Crooked Man thought it needed to be said againHis razor-sharp reimagining is a call to arms with added electronic biteHe's skipped the niceties and titled it CUNTS.Out today on Vicious Charm today. The track is accompanied by an Agit-Prop video directed by British contemporary artist Dominic McGill, who, armed with a photocopier and a scalpel, has cut & pasted a perfect accompaniment to the song – breathless and furious. They are still running the world. It’s a work of “northern genius”, Jarvis’ words, not ours‘. – Bandcamp. 01.47.21 DESPERATE JOURNALIST – 7 – No Hero, LP – Fierce Panda – 2024 Driving indie rockers ever present on Simon Williams’ Fierce Panda label, with a nod to Jo Bevan’s confident vocals. 01.50.22 GANZHEIT – Motions – ‘Summer Of ’84’ demos cassette, unreleased – 1984 With a couple of this cassette’s tracks now playlisted on 41 Rooms, there are more to come from this lost Bedford-based band. It's cold, dark days in Sweden so we need dark beers to keep us warm. Alesong has released a special edition of Rhino Suit. Rhino Suit - Swedish Edition is an 11% ABV double milk imperial stout. Made special for Sweden, this milk stout is a Heaven Hill bourbon-barrel-aged beer. It makes us feel special. It's not often we get double milk stouts at Systembolaget. When we saw Surly 13, a 12.5% ABV maple barrel-aged double milk imperial stout, we knew we had a great combo. Sadly, it wasn't specially brewed for Sweden. #beer #craftbeer #drinks #barrel-aged #imperialstout #milkstout

Episode 94 - Murdock and Marvel: 2020 In case you don't remember, 2020 pretty much sucked. We pick up with Matt trying to not be Daredevil… and basically failing at it. Elektra tells him he's gone soft, Mindy is spiraling after the sniper attack, and Matt's stuck between messy romance and even messier morality. Meanwhile, Detective Cole North gets a new partner and a new perspective when Spider-Man drags him out of a vigilante sting operation and gives him the “law vs. justice” pep talk he desperately needs. And in the background? Fisk tries to put the Owl in his place—but the Owl refuses, kills Fisk's men, and openly challenges the Kingpin's throne. Matt keeps trying to help people without putting the horns back on, but New York just won't let him stay retired. He checks in on Tom—the brother of the man Matt accidentally killed—and then stumbles into a fake Daredevil getting pummeled. Matt and Foggy try to save the impostor without throwing punches… which lasts about 30 seconds. When it all goes sideways, Elektra swoops in, makes her “train or die” pitch again, and this time Matt finally says yes. Meanwhile, Fisk loses control during a tense meeting with the ultra-rich Stromwyns and ends up murdering a loudmouth in a bathroom—triggering a cover-up and putting him in the crosshairs of people way more powerful than he expected. As Matt and Elektra begin intense, targeted training, Hell's Kitchen spirals into a full-scale mob war. The Owl challenges Izzy Libris openly, kills her men, and declares himself the new kingpin; Izzy responds by forging an alliance with Hammerhead before the whole thing goes south. Cole North, beaten down by cops and politics, is still trying to be the “good cop” in a rotten system, and Daredevil—watching him stand up for a homeless man—asks the detective to coffee. They have a brutally honest conversation about guilt, accountability, and the difference between lawful and right that starts to bridge the gap between them. The Stromwyns' influence becomes the heart of the conspiracy, pushing the story from street-level grit into political corruption on a terrifying scale. They convince the governor—via massive donor pressure—to pull police out of Hell's Kitchen entirely, setting the neighborhood up for collapse so they can swoop in and buy it all. Matt and Elektra infiltrate the governor's summer home, confirm the Stromwyn plan, then tumble into an emotional, romantic reconnection. Meanwhile, Fisk is punished by the Stromwyns for his unauthorized murder—forced into a brutal fight he loses, tossed out a window, and reminded that he's still just a “thug” to the true elites of New York. Daredevil and Elektra strike back, Robin Hood–style, as the mob war escalates to bloodshed. They break into a Stromwyn server farm, steal millions, and funnel the cash into Hell's Kitchen—though Elektra takes her own cut for “something big.” Izzy Libris uses her share to flip Hammerhead's crew and put him down herself. But the Owl retaliates by kidnapping Belle, Mindy's daughter. Daredevil teams up with North to save her, defusing a hostage situation without bloodshed. The Owl, enraged at the loss, murders Tom Libris, pushing the crime family to the brink. And just when it seems things can't get worse… the Stromwyns pull the nuclear option. With police back in Hell's Kitchen and the neighborhood refusing to collapse, the Stromwyns call Fisk and tell him a purge is coming. They deploy a nightmare roster—Bullseye, Rhino, Crossbones, Bullet, and Stilt-Man—to wipe the slate clean. Daredevil, newly trained, morally sharpened, and more determined than ever, now faces a city where the mob, the government, the cops, and the ultra-rich have all decided Hell's Kitchen is theirs to burn. Up next, we get the short 2 book “Inferno” story arch that continues the story. Hell's Kitchen becomes a war zone, and the heroes are just… regular people. With Bullseye, Rhino, Crossbones and the rest tearing the neighborhood apart, the cops won't enter—not out of orders, but pure fear—so citizens pour into the streets, many wearing makeshift Daredevil masks, and start fighting for their homes. Cole North joins them. Matt meets one of the “fake Daredevils,” comforts him, takes his mask, and steps into the fire. When Bullseye mocks him as just another imitator, Matt corrects him: “Not a fake… just Daredevil.” Across the neighborhood, Sister Elizabeth—Matt's spiritual confidant—reveals herself as Typhoid Mary, throwing herself into the chaos. Fisk and Wesley watch helplessly as the villains slaughter civilians. Daredevil turns the tide—reminding the city who he really is. Drawing on Elektra's training, Matt cuts through the chaos, coordinating with Mary, who charges Rhino straight into the river—only for him to swim out. The Owl's men abandon him, unwilling to aid in destroying their own neighborhood, and Fisk finally storms into the streets himself, beating the Owl senseless as news cameras capture the destruction the Stromwyns unleashed. When the smoke clears, Fisk orders Cole North to arrest Daredevil for murder. North refuses. So Matt, battered, masked, fully reclaiming the mantle, simply turns himself in. The final story of the year is called “Truth / Dare” which appears to be the reckoning for the death caused by Daredevil way back in issue 1 of volume 6. This 4-part story arch will be the spotlight for this week.
