The traditional Christian view would say that if you die without becoming a Christian you are condemned to suffering in hell forever. But that is being increasingly criticised and challenged by modern evangelicals who are unconvinced by the scriptural arguments for it. Some questions that could be asked… How could a God of love possibly make a world in which the majority of his human creatures would burn in hell forever, simply because they happened to have been born in in a country that was Muslim, or Hindu, or atheist? And is the scriptural underpinning for this belief really as secure as evangelicals, in particular, tend to think? She won the nation’s hearts as a 17-year-old when she became the youngest ever contestant on The Great British Bake Off in 2014. She’s baked for the Queen’s 90th birthday and has just launched her new cook book ‘Twist’. Yes it's Martha Collison!
