In this episode, we reflect on what it has been like to take our relationship into the public eye after appearing on SBS's Insight, where we spoke about jealousy, envy, and compersion. What followed was a flood of online commentary, much of it critical. We unpack what it feels like to have our relationship reduced to a two-minute clip and judged at scale, and we explore why people feel so certain in their opinions about something they don't fully understand. We explore how judgment is a natural human response, but how the way it's expressed matters, and how much of what people say is actually a reflection of their own fears, experiences, or conditioning around relationships. We also share how we each process criticism differently, one of us feeling largely unaffected, the other needing to work through it more consciously. Through it all, we come back to what grounds us, our relationship, our values, and our sense of self, and why continuing to have these conversations publicly still feels important, even when it invites criticism.Evolving Love Links:Website | Instagram | Substack | Youtube | Retreat This is a public episode. Hey Lifers! Laura’s baby is taking a stand/protesting to Matt disclosing her name on his podcast. If you’ve had a baby, did you and your partner agree on whether to share the name/s publicly before the baby was born? Britt has entered a new career - being a professional dancer! Dancing with the stars has aired and our twinkle toes tore up the dance floor! We share some BTS of Dancing with the Stars and Britt finally gets the answer to whether Osher knew that she was going to be dumped on Bach 8 years ago! Two stories came out over the weekend that both surrounded the unveiling of the identities of online trolls/cyber bullies. Indy Clinton has received a 64 page document from a private investigator that includes the names and details about some of her relentless trolls. A couple in Ireland have successfully sued the formally anonymous owner of ‘tattle life,’ an online gossip cesspit and had his identity released. So with the advancements in technology that make online anonymity harder, do you think trolls would stop and think twice if they thought there was the risk that their identity would be exposed? Should influencers release the identities of their online trolls if they have concrete proof that they’re the ones responsible for years worth of bullying? Do you think tech companies like meta or tiktok have more of a responsibility to not allow people to be anonymous? We discuss whether these trolls being exposed would do potentially more harm than good or whether it’s a consequence for their own behaviour. We chat about precedents, how trolling affects both Britt and Laura and whether we think these stories will shift the dial at all. No matter what you post, the haters always seem to show up. Whether you're building a brand, sharing your thoughts, or just having fun online, negativity is inevitable. So how do you handle it without letting it ruin your day? In this episode of The Risen Fallen Podcast, we dive into the world of online criticism, internet trolls, and why negative comments tend to stick with us more than positive ones. I recently had one of my most viral social media posts yet—and along with the engagement came the usual wave of negativity. Some people were cracking jokes, some were genuinely trying to be helpful, and others? Well, they just wanted to hate for the sake of hating. This got me thinking: Why do people leave negative comments? And more importantly, how should we respond? In this episode, I explore: The psychology of online hate – Why negativity spreads faster than positivity. Why people criticize you online – And why most of the time, it has nothing to do with you. The power of ignoring vs. engaging – When to clap back and when to move on. How to shift your mindset – From taking hate personally to using it as fuel. Social media is full of quick-hit dopamine spikes, viral moments, and “gotcha” comments that people chase for clout. But at the end of the day, does any of that really matter? Instead of getting caught up in negativity, we can choose to focus on what actually moves us forward. If you've ever let a negative comment ruin your mood or questioned yourself because of online hate, this episode is for you. Tune in and learn how to navigate the noise, stay true to yourself, and keep creating without fear. Much love, and I'll catch you next Monday. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe!

And after photos of her at Paris Fashion Week went viral back in January, many people thought she was the victim of bad filler. Now, Kylie's had enough of the hate. While speaking to her sister Kendall, Kylie burst into tears over all the mean comments people have made online. But some people think Kylie deserves it, saying she brought it on herself for not disclosing all the work she's had done.
