Steven Furtick, pastor of Election Church, is known for, shall we say, creative biblical interpretation. He recently made one of his most bizarre interpretations yet. In today's program, we will discuss this and how it affects his qualifications to be a preacher. ✅

Bethel Church, led by Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton, is known for an emphasis on signs and wonders, including angel feathers appearing out of thin air in their services. They made this claim just recently, in February of 2024. Kris Vallotton has said he has seen angel feathers appear “on at least a couple hundred occasions.” If that is true, then I have an open challenge to Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton and Bethel Church in general. If they can meet this challenge, I will immediately and permanently shut down my ministry. ✅

Crossroads Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, is known for being seeker-sensitive. In today's program, we will consider the outrageous behavior of the pastors of this church and discuss the seeker-sensitive approach to doing church. Should we make the church fun and entertaining to draw lost people in? ✅

In 2021, Steven Furtick raised a lot of eyebrows when he, in a hyper-emotive rant, said, "I am God Almighty." People excused that as him getting tongue-tied. Fair enough. But then I found a clip from two years earlier in which he said basically the same thing. Now, in 2024, he may have said the most blatantly heretical statement he has ever uttered. There is no excusing this one. ✅

Ken Ham is the founder and CEO of Answers in Genesis, The Creation Museum, and The Ark Encounter. Many Christians struggle to answer questions regarding evolution, the age of the earth, and Noah's flood. In today's podcast, I will ask Ken about the importance of a young earth, where all the people came from for Cain to build his city, and if the Flood was global or merely a localized flood as some evangelicals today are trying to argue. I will also ask Ken why he calls Andy Stanley a false teacher. There's lots of information packed in here! Time stamps 03:00 - 09:53 Are the 6 days of creation in Genesis literal days? 09:54 - 15:53 Is the age of the earth really a big deal? 15:54 - 25:59 Could the Flood have been local? 26:00 - 34:39 Were there carnivores before the Fall? 34:40 - 41:54 Where did the people come from for the city Cain built? 41:55 - 49:39 Is Andy Stanley a false teacher? 49:40 - 53:39 What is the best exhibit at The Creation Museum? 53:40 What new projects are in the works? In September of 2023, Alistair Begg advised a Christian grandmother that she should attend the wedding of her "transexual" homosexual grandson (or granddaughter - this changes with different tellings of the story) and even give a gift in honor of it. This caused an immense controversy in evangelical circles. On January 28, in an evening service sermon (linked below), Alistair addressed the controversy and defended his advice. He largely employed the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15 as his scriptural defense. In today's podcast, I talk with pastor Dan Phillips and he gives us a pastoral review of Alistair's defense of a Christian attending a homosexual/trans wedding. Alistair Begg has been a faithful Gospel preacher for many years but recently caused a great deal of confusion when he said that a Christian can attend a homosexual/trans wedding and even give a gift to the couple. Todd White recently said that he has not told one single lie since he claimed to have been saved 18 years ago. He claims to have reached sinless perfection. But in today's podcast, we will see that the claim he is making not to have lied is in and of itself a lie. We will further explore what the Bible says about indwelling sin in the believer. Deliverance ministries have made a roaring comeback. Self-described “demon slayers” maintain that born-again Christians need to regularly have demons cast out of them. Deliverance ministries, led by figures such as Greg Locke, Alexander Pagani, Isaiah Saldivar, Kathryn Krick, Vlad Savchuck, etc., are entirely predicated on the premise that Christians can be inhabited by demons. In this podcast, Jim Osman, Chris Rosebrough, and I will examine their claims and theology. The Remnant radio channel put out a video recently saying that based upon Jeremiah 32:8, Jeremiah was unsure that God had spoken to him until the prophecy actually came to pass. In so doing, they are trying to make the case that it is perfectly fine for today's charismatics to be unsure if God spoke to them and unsure about what He said. Is this true or are they twisting the Bible to make room for their charismatic theology? We will discuss in today's podcast. Link to Fighting For The Faith ✅
