Wilson County 4-H cooking connoisseurs put their skills to the test March 14, at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in the Food Challenge Contest. The junior team, the Culinary Creators, and senior team, the Raving Raisins, were just two of 89 teams and 365 participants who traveled from across the state to compete. The Culinary Creators, with members Gabriel Campos, Tanner Tieken, Olivia Martinez, and Daniella Salazar, placed second in side dish category. Let's talk about the movies. A bunch of factors have contributed to the shrinking of the movies and the Oscars in recent years. The film industry itself has changed.
