Welcome to Year Three of You’re Gonna Love This… or Not…! For those who have just joined us, this podcast features Matt, who loves watching bad movies in his basement, and Josh, who loves giving Matt grief for his love of bad movies. Every month, Matt is going to bring Josh down to his Subterranean Fun Pit (aka, his basement) and show him one of his favorite bad movies, hoping to find one Josh loves, or at least likes a little bit. On occasion, they bring in guests. This month, Matt, Josh, and Producer Mike are joined by Dr. Erik Klemetti, an actual volcanologist, to watch the 2019 film, Skyfire. This 2019 film, featuring Jason Isaacs, is about a volcano theme park, a dormant volcano, and, well, about what you would expect to happen. So, sit back, put in your earbuds, don't leave your house unless you need to, make sure you have your mask on over your mouth and nose in public, and let them fill your ear holes as you find out what they think! This month, Matt, Josh, and Producer Mike are joined by Alan Sims, who's better known as "Luke Hangover" in local cosplay circles, to watch the 1986 John Stamos film, Never Too Young to Die. This secret agent film has Stamos, a high school gymnast, teaming up with his father's partner to stop the psychopathic hermaphroditic gang leader who killed him. Will they enjoy the film? Will Al regret buying podcasting equipment to sit in on this episode? Even after two years, Matt still hasn't ran out of movies to introduce Josh to. Once again, they are joined by Producer Mike as they take a look at 1985's Creature. Welcome to Year Two of You’re Gonna Love This… or Not…! The social distancing is continuing this month, so Matt was unable to lure Josh into the SFP. However, Josh now has a computer, Plex has a new group watch option, and Tony has Zencastr, so we have a new episode this month! Matt is threatening a "Summer of Shark" kicking off with this month's selection, Bait. Joining them on the recording this month is Producer Mike, with Tony popping in a few times as he runs the recording. So, sit back, and let these chuckle heads fill your ears with talk of sharks in supermarkets and parking garages for the next sixty four minutes. Every month, Matt is going to bring Josh down to his Subterranean Fun Pit (aka, his basement) and show him one of his favorite bad movies, hoping to find one Josh loves, or at least likes a little bit. On occasion, they bring in guests. This month, we are currently still in the depths of a pandemic and quarantine, the one that was spoken about in Y2E04. Due to this, and the fact that not every YGLToN cast member has reliable internet, we were not able to get into the studio to record an episode. So, after talking with Matt, we decided to release the "lost" episode of YGLToN. The episode was was supposed to be released in April of 2019, instead of The Race for the Yankee Zephyr. The episode you've heard the guys speak of never airing, though they never dismissed the idea that it could be a perk for a Patreon down the line. Yet, thanks to a pandemic, here it is. The 1994, Roger Corman produced, The Fantastic Four. This was a short episode, clocking in at under twenty five minutes with everything added to it, but it's an amusing listen. So sit back, put on your headphones, and let these two chuckleheads fill your earhold for about half an hour. And if you're in public? Make sure you're wearing a gawd damn mask. My friends! Welcome to the eleventh episode of You’re Gonna Love This… or Not…! This month, Matt and Josh are hijacked by their editor, Tony Troxell of Geeking in Indiana, to pay them back for almost a year of listening to them watch bad movies, then complain about them. So, to get them back, Tony sits them down to watch a movie he's loved since he was a kid, his own favorite "bad" movie, Heartbeeps. What will Matt and Josh think of this? Will it be the worst movie they've seen yet, or will it be on par with Mazes & Monsters? Let's find out! Every month, Matt is going to bring Josh down to his Subterranean Fun Pit (aka, his basement) and show him one of his favorite bad movies, hoping to find one Josh loves, or at least likes a little bit. On occasion, they bring in guests. This month, Matt and Josh are joined by our local chapter of the Ghost Corps, the Circle City Ghostbusters! Jacob and Jason join the crew in the SFP to check out Matt's choice for the Halloween month, Spookies! This film from 1986, which had a world wide gross of $17,785, is a comedic horror film about a group of people who enter a house, only to find themselves at the mercy of a sorcerer who wishes to sacrifice them to, well... let's find out if the group enjoyed it, or if the CCGB decided to cross the streams, initiate total protonic reversal, and try to end it all. Content Warning: Discussion of suicide and mental illness My friends! Welcome to the eighth episode of You’re Gonna Love This… or Not…! This month, Josh gets suckered back into the basement for Mazes & Monsters, a made-for-tv movie starring Tom Hanks. This movie showed the evils of role playing games, and live-action role playing games, in 1982, and Josh went in believing that Tom Hanks could not make a bad film. Does he come out the other side firm in that belief? Did Matt finally find one that Josh likes, or will this cause Josh to break down, just a little bit more? Let the guys fill your earholes for the next 46 minutes, and find out! Stay tuned, there might also be a contest involved! My friends! Welcome to the sixth episode of You’re Gonna Love This… or Not…! This month, Josh is joined by Tim Reynolds of the Comic Junkies Podcast! Together, they are subjected to the 2015 version of the Fantastic Four. Josh ends up having some very strong opinions on this film, which may or may not have anything to do with an unreleased episode featuring a film made by Roger Corman. Needless to say, this episode was fun to edit, and I'm glad it has an explicit rating on iTunes, so I didn't have to worry about all of THAT editing! So come, join the YGLToN Crew, and guest, for the next 48-ish minutes as they talk about this not-in-the-MCU Marvel film.
