We're taking a look at the future of abortion in North Carolina from two very different perspectives. A couple weeks ago, we had on two legal experts to break down the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. This week, we bring on two people who hope to influence the future of abortion in North Carolina, where it remains legal. Tami Fitzgerald runs the conservative N.C. Values Coalition, and Rep. Julie von Haefen, a Wake County Democrat, spent time in Mexico earlier this year to learn about the very different status of abortion in different parts of that country. We will talk about where their strong stances on abortion come from, the SCOTUS decision, what North Carolina should do next and Rep. von Haefen's trip to Mexico.

Advocates on the right and left say this year's school board campaigns will be ground zero in America's culture wars. The conservative North Carolina Values Coalition prepared people for that battle this week by holding training sessions for prospective school board candidates in Raleigh and Mooresville. Tami Fitzgerald, executive director of the Raleigh-based group, says the issues that have led to heated protests at board meetings are fueling intense interest in running for office. "Parents are upset about what their kids have been learning in school," she said. "They're upset about the mask mandates that still perpetuate around the state. And it just seems like there's been a great awakening among parents." Reporters weren't allowed into the "school board boot camps." In an interview after Thursday's session at Trinity Baptist Church in Mooresville Fitzgerald said attendance for the two sessions was about 200, with about 100 saying they plan to run. In the Charlotte area, she said

Tami Fitzgerald was born in Texas. She was very active in student government during her school years. Her mother inspired her to be in politics which led her to pick political science in Oklahoma State University. She worked as in intern for a senator in constituent services while she was in undergrad. Tami then went on get her Law degree in University of Oklahoma because she was very interested in constitutional law. After graduating from Law school, she practiced oil & gas law in Oklahoma for 6 years. Tami then was on a hiatus to be full-time mom to her kids. What happened after that to make her move to North Carolina to be a lobbyist? How did her career then shape up to be an Executive Director at NC Values Coalition? It was my honor to have Tami share her experiences and wisdom about her career in this next episode.
Despite a long and growing list of Fauci’s mistakes and lies...saying one thing and a few weeks later saying something completely different, his Jihad against President Trump continues. Fortunately for Fauci, the fake news continues to cover for his mistakes and lies, and re-writes history every time he contradicts himself. Fauci and the creators of the initial fake virus model now warn that if America dares to go back to work on May 1, the results will be catastrophic. Catastrophic for Fauci's profit potential from patent royalties from big pharma? Or catastrophic in the sense President Trump is re-elected?
