Pat Partridge writes across genres. He is the author of the mystery Fragile Memories, the sequel Buried at Bears Ears, and the humorous road-trip novel Fast on Fifty. His book of political humor, now in its third edition, has sold over 70,000 copies. Partridge's short stories span a wide range of styles, characters, ages, and themes. All were written in the past 3+ years. Two humorous ones—The Buddy Saga and The Porch Thief—and several ones with more serious themes—If You Could Forget One Thing, Visiting Helen, The New Dress, and The Break Out—have been published in Remington Review, The Haven, Ariel Chart, Fabula Argentea, and Litro, as well as anthologies. Over the past three years, Partridge has won eleven awards in the League of Utah Writers annual contests—seven awards for short fiction and four for novel first chapters, with four stories included in the League's “Best Of” anthologies. In 2024 his short story The New Dress won the Emerald Award for best short work across all formats. Partridge still has trouble understanding why he writes, but he is pleased others enjoy his writing.

The Bump: A creepy little story fit for Halloween! Meet Caryn Larrinaga, our newest Untold Tales Author. Thank you Caryn and Tony Pham of TKMV here in Phoenix, AZ for the opportunity to debut my 5 year old Daughter, Indi, as "the boy" and the "girl in pigtails" and my nieces Ava (5) and Coco (3) as the singers! Be looking for the Animation of this episode to come out in the New Year 2022! We are so excited! Caryn Larrinaga is a Basque-American mystery and horror writer. She has been a Dragon Award finalist and won multiple awards for her work, including the League of Utah Writers Silver Quill (Donn's Hill, 2017) and the Cat Writers Association Certificate of Excellence (Donn's Legacy, 2020). In 2021, she was named Writer of the Year by the League of Utah Writers. Watching scary movies through split fingers terrified Caryn as a child, and those nightmares inspire her to write now. Her 90-year-old house has a colorful history, and the creaking walls and narrow hallways send her running (never walking) up the stairs. Exploring her fears through writing makes Caryn feel a little less foolish for wanting a buddy to accompany her into the tool shed. Caryn lives near Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband and their clowder of cats. She is an active member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, the Horror Writers Association, the Cat Writers Association, and the League of Utah Writers.
