The battle was never yours to fight. In this message we return to the moment Jehoshaphat stood before an enemy too big for him and discovered the name of the God who commands the armies of heaven. Moab, Ammon, and Mount Seir had already crossed deep into Judah's own territory, and all Jehoshaphat had was an altar, a song, and a name to call on. He went to the altar, and then he sang. When the singers lifted their voice, the Lord set ambushes against the enemy, and Judah never had to swing a single blow. Yahweh Sabaoth is the LORD of Hosts, the LORD who commands the armies of heaven. He did not retire after the Old Testament. He put on flesh. Jesus is Yahweh Sabaoth in a body, the same Commander John saw riding on a white horse with the armies of heaven behind Him. He has never lost a battle. Not at the Red Sea. Not at Jericho. Not at Calvary. Not in Ziz. And not in your situation either. He fights. You sing. That is the whole strategy. That is the whole revelation. That is the whole victory. Three points from this message: No matter how great your problem is, your God is greater. (2 Chronicles 20:15) Some things have to be believed to be seen. (2 Chronicles 20:20) Praise brings God to the battlefield, and God has never lost a battle. Most times, we end up fighting our own battles. But sometimes, the opposition is just – well, it's overwhelming. Then what? Well that's when we can discover that the battle, belongs to the Lord.   I Can Do Anything I Want In this day and age one of the things that they teach us is to be self reliant. To have confidence in our own abilities. You can do anything you set your mind to they tell us. You can make it, it's all up to you. That's ok to a point I guess. It's a good thing to have some confidence in who we are that God made us to be. But you can take this idea too far and it will bring you undone. The positive turns into a terrible negative. See what happens, when the situation we're in or the circumstances that we're facing are so far beyond our ability to deal with them, that any idea of self reliance is completely ridiculous. What happens when the problem confronting us requires skills and abilities that we don't have. What happens when the career we've chosen just doesn't fit who we are? What happens when the one we love, our wife or our husband or one of our children is going through some tough times. Something that as much as we love them, we can't seem to be able to help them through. An illness, a depression, a crisis. And nothing we can say or nothing we can do seems to make any difference. Well, then what? What happens when a tsunami hits our lives? What do we do when the enemy that gathers around us completely outnumbers and outguns us? Come on. Then what do we do? And this isn't some theoretical exercise. This is life. It's my life and it's your life. Because this happens. It's real. There are times in our lives when the enemy whoever or whatever that is, when the enemy is so much bigger than our ability to survive. It happens in families. It happens in work places. And it happens in our hearts. When sickness hits for no good reason. When a loved one is taken in their prime and the grief overwhelms us. When a marriage falls apart. It happens when retrenchment hits. When the economy takes a nose-dive. When their isn't enough food to feed the family. When people betray us. This is life. It's real life. Let me ask you something. When the enemy is so much bigger and so much stronger than anything that you or I could ever handle, what do we do? Some people panic and they run around in ever decreasing circles wasting their precious energy on panicking. You've seen it I've seen it. You know we've both probably been their too. Some people pull over and stop because they're immobilised by fear. That's what happens you know. But neither of those things cut the mustard. Neither of them help. Running around like a headless chook. It's exhausting. Wallowing in self pity is destructive. What do we do? See I'm a pretty self-reliant kind of guy. I like to think that I can handle most things. BUT – there are times when things happen that are completely and utterly beyond anything I can handle. And in those times to hang on to this notion of self-reliance, this delusion of "I can do anything", that will only make it worse. It's OK to believe in ourselves but the reality is that sometimes, maybe this time, we can't swim against this tsunami. It's too big. It's too scary. I was talking the other day with a young woman. She's extremely competent and confident in her field. Professionally she's a class act in every way that you can imagine. We got onto the fact that she had a couple of young kids. And her demeanour changed. See, as someone who's got kids and now they're all grown up, I'm well and truly past the stresses and the strains of bringing up young children. I love telling parents, "Don't worry it's the first 25 years that are the hardest. After that it's a piece of baklava!" It's my, I guess it's my gift of encouragement. Right?" But like any young mother, this motherhood thing was a struggle for this competent, professional woman. It's so tiring. There is so much that is new and is challenging. There's so much in bringing up kids. It's beyond our control. That's the key isn't it. When we're dealing with things that are under our control and we happen to have the skills and the ability and the inclination to control them, well, it's all good isn't it. But the further things are out of our control the more they look like that tsunami and that wave that we can't ride. Then, then it gets scary. I want to introduce you today to one of the kings in Israel's history. Actually he's the king of a couple of the tribes of Israel, Judah and Benjamin. His name was Jehoshaphat. Ok it's a long name. We don't use that kind of name these days. But he was definitely one of the good guys. And there was a time when he was confronted with an enemy that was way, way, way beyond his ability to fight and defeat. Let's pick up the story in 2nd Chronicles Chapter 20 verse 1. After this the Moabites and Ammonites, and with them some of the Meunites, came against Jehoshaphat for battle. Messengers came and told Jehoshaphat, "A great multitude is coming against you from Edom, from beyond the sea; already they are at Engedi. Jehoshaphat was afraid; See this was an army much bigger than his own. The odds were completely overwhelming and Jehoshaphat were facing absolutely certain defeat. To the king that meant death for his people it meant death or slavery or loss of all their possessions and land. Probably rape for the woman. The higher the stakes are the scarier it gets, doesn't it? And for Jehoshaphat the stakes couldn't have been higher. He was in that place well and truly that you and I find ourselves in for time to time. I just want to establish here that old king Jehoshaphat, well he was human like you and me. He's not some super-human king. There were armies coming in against him. He was completely outnumbered and outgunned. This was a life and death situation and it says Jehoshaphat was afraid. Jehoshaphat is just one of us. I remember as a young boy going to the dentist. I'd walk in the front door and there was this staircase leading up to the dentist. And the smell of the dental surgery the moment you walked in the door. And their was a knot in my stomach sitting in the waiting room. Fear is something that disables us. It's not good for anyone when we're disabled by fear. It's not good for ourselves, it's not good for God. It's not good for those who need our help. Jehoshaphat was afraid. But it's what he did in his fear that made all the difference and we're going to take a look at that in just a moment   What Happens When I Can't? Well let's get back into God's word and take a look at what happened king Jehoshaphat. What he was facing in this completely overwhelming odds. Have a listen. We're starting, if you have a bible grab it, in 2 Chronicles chapter 20 beginning at verse 3: Jehoshaphat was afraid; he set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. Judah assembled to seek help from the LORD; from all the towns of Judah they came to seek the LORD. Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court, and said, "O LORD, God of our ancestors, are you not God in heaven? Do you not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? In your hand are power and might, so that no one is able to withstand you. Did you not, O our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel, and give it forever to the descendants of your friend Abraham? They have lived in it, and in it have built you a sanctuary for your name, saying, 'If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house, and before you, for your name is in this house, and cry to you in our distress, and you will hear and save.' See now, the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, whom you would not let Israel invade when they came from the land of Egypt, and whom they avoided and did not destroy— they reward us by coming to drive us out of your possession that you have given us to inherit. O our God, will you not execute judgment upon them? For we are powerless against this great multitude that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you." Meanwhile all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children. See Jehoshaphat didn't let his fear immobilise him. He didn't get into a flap or into a panic in the face of overwhelming odds he turned to God. Sometimes that's the only way that God gets our attention. I'd like to be able to tell you that I first turned to God because I was wise and loving and understood that Jesus is the Son of God. But if I told you that I would be lying. I needed to be hit across the back of the head with a lump of four by two for God to get my attention. Overwhelming odds. That's what did it for me. I turned to God in the middle of fear. And for me it was the last resort but for Jehoshaphat God was his first port of call. Now a king is supposed to have all the answers. A King like Jehoshaphat should have a powerful army and contingency plans based on a comprehensive threat assessment. He should be self-reliant. A man for the people to respect and to follow and to trust for their safety and their future, but listen again to what Jehoshaphat says when he's praying to God in 2nd Chronicles Chapter 20 verse 12: O our God, will you not execute judgment upon them? For we are powerless against this great multitude that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you. I relate to this. When I stepped out of the secure, well-paid job as a consultant into full time ministry, that was a step of faith. Leaving security behind to serve God and I can't begin to tell you how many times since then I have been in that place that Jehoshaphat and his people were in. See I started out with this naive notion that if I was going to be about God's work, well lit should be easy. And yet so many times people and circumstances have conspired to be against God's work. Every couple of years our board gets together to do some strategic planning. That's important and the strategic plan always looks good on paper. Gives us a sense of what direction we think that God wants us to head in. And then invariably all hell breaks loose because the enemy wants to overwhelm us. He doesn't want to see God's will done here on earth as it is in heaven. And that's what's going on with Jehoshaphat and Judah. Remember these are God's chosen people. The king honoured God and by all accounts and by all accounts he was wise and competent. But in the face of overwhelming odds he admitted to God, "We do know what to do." So was the solution How did he cope with this? And the same sentence, the same breath, he says "but our eyes are on You." I wonder sometimes when I see people who profess to believe in Jesus running around in panic wasting so much of their energy complaining and worrying and being afraid. See, it takes a lot of energy to be afraid, you realise. I wonder if they spent even half that amount of their energy having their eyes on God, how much better off they'd be. You and I, we can't help but be afraid. Jehoshaphat was afraid. It's a natural human, reaction. I'm not here to tell you somehow to pretend that you're not afraid when fear is rocking you to the very core. That's ridiculous. But it's what we do when fear strikes that makes all the difference. When we panic we burn energy, when we frozen and immobilised that's probably the end of us. That's what fear does. Stop's us dead in our tracks. We go nowhere. Had Jehoshaphat done that, he and all his people would have been dead literally. Or we can just turn and look at God. "You know something Lord, this is so huge, I just know what to do but my eyes, my eyes are on you. I'm just going to wait on you. I don't know what you are going to do, I don't even know if you are going to show up, but no matter what, my eyes are on you." And here's the bit that blows me away about this story. It's this. That God wasn't Jehoshaphat's last resort. God was his first port of call. He trusted in the sovereign grace of God. Jehoshaphat was afraid, but he set himself to seek the Lord and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. I wonder how different if things would be amidst our fear, if instead of running around and spending all that energy on panic or instead of running to the phone to talk to a friend, if we first ran to God. If the very first thing we did was to take stock and in our hearts, deep inside somewhere – decided to set ourselves to seek the Lord? God, the first point of call, rather than the last resort!   A Powerful Outcome So how did it end? Was Jehoshaphat's trust misplaced or well placed? Let's take a look. 2 Chronicle 20 beginning at verse 14: Then the spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel son of Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the middle of the assembly. He said, "Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the LORD to you: 'Do not fear or be dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours but God's. Tomorrow go down against them; they will come up by the ascent of Ziz; you will find them at the end of the valley, before the wilderness of Jeruel. This battle is not for you to fight; take your position, stand still, and see the victory of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.' Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, and the LORD will be with you." Then Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the LORD, worshiping the LORD. And the Levites, of the Kohathites and the Korahites, stood up to praise the LORD, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice. They rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the LORD your God and you will be established; believe his prophets." When he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the LORD and praise him in holy splendor, as they went before the army, saying, "Give thanks to the LORD, for his steadfast love endures forever." As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set an ambush against the Ammonites, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah, so that they were routed. For the Ammonites and Moab attacked the inhabitants of Mount Seir, destroying them utterly; and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they all helped to destroy one another. When Judah came to the watchtower of the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; they were corpses lying on the ground; no one had escaped. When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take the booty from them, they found livestock in great numbers, goods, clothing, and precious things, which they took for themselves until they could carry no more. They spent three days taking the booty, because of its abundance. Unbelievable I hear you say. How could this possibly happen?? I'll tell you how. Because Jehoshaphat decided that he would stand and wait on God - no matter what the outcome! That's the key. That's the faith that God was looking for. No matter what the outcome. Let's take another look. 2 Chronicles 20:9-12: If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house, and before you, for your name is in this house, and cry to you in our distress, and you will hear and save. See now, the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, whom you would not let Israel invade when they came from the land of Egypt, and whom they avoided and did not destroy – they reward us by coming to drive us out of your possession that you have given us to inherit. O our God, will you not execute judgment upon them? For we are powerless against this great multitude that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you. This is the do or die faith that God is looking for. When we place our faith in God in this way – for things that are completely out of our control – right when that tsunami hits His Spirit and His Word come along and witness His truth to us: This battle is not for you to fight; take your position, stand still, and see the victory of the LORD on your behalf.' Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, and the LORD will be with you." (2 Chronicles 20:17) Listen to me. Have you put your trust in Jesus Christ? Have you? Then those times of fear are times when we discover what a beautiful thing it is to trust in the Lord, no matter what is coming against us. No matter what the world throws at us. No matter how overwhelming the odds might be. Those times are the times that we get to stand still and discover in our very own experience that the battle isn't our it's not ours at all. But the battle belongs to the Lord. Can I encourage you that if you feel right now that you're on death row, as though there is no tomorrow, to listen to the words of apostle Paul from his dungeon as he writes in Philippians Chapter 4 beginning at verse 6: Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you. See that's the word of the Lord for us today. Jehoshaphat knew it and learned it again in his experience. The people of Judah learned it again under the leadership of Jehoshaphat. This overwhelming army came against them. They couldn't win. It was a no win situation. And they discovered afresh and anew the battle was not theirs but the battle belonged to the Lord. And they listened to God through His prophets when he said, "Stand still to see and to watch what the Lord would do for you." Can I encourage you today to remember the battle is not yours. The battle belongs to the Lord. Stand still and watch to see what the Lord will do for you.

This serves as a response to the nations who claim that Eretz Yisroel does not belong to the Jewish people and that they stole it: The should know that at a time when their ancestors were still living as uncivilized cannibals, the Jewish people were already being taught to conduct themselves according to a system of justice and righteousness. Whatever did not belong to them, they did not take, and they took only what they were rightfully given by Hashem. Therefore, those who seek to take away any part of the Land from the Jewish people are engaging in theft and the opposite of righteousness etc.Excerpt from sichah of 4 Menachem-Av 5740 – to For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=16-07-2026

The Bible foretells a mysterious character called “the Assyrian” who seems to have a role in the end times war against Israel. Who is he?  What's odd is the Hebrew text of Micah 5:5–6 (and Isaiah 14:25, 31:8, and 52:4) lacks the definite article “the.” In other words, there is no “the Assyrian” in the Old Testament.  The Hebrew word Assur can referred to Assyria, its capital city, or its chief deity, who was the equivalent of the Sumerian/Babylonian god Enlil (called Ellil in Akkad), El of Canaan, Dagon of the Philistines, and Milcom of Ammon—and thus Molech, the netherworld god who demanded the sacrifice of children from his followers.  We believe the passages in Micah are an “already but not yet” prophecy, referring to the imminent conquest of the northern kingdom of Israel by Assyria, which occurred during Micah's lifetime in 722 BC, and a future return of Assur in the end times as the Destroyer, Abaddon/Apollyon, who is released from the abyss for five months to torment those without the seal of God on their foreheads.  Sharon's niece, Sarah Sachleben, has been battling stage 4 bowel cancer and the medical bills are piling up. The Fruitless Will Fall Away (1) (audio) David Eellls, 6/28/26 What is the fruit of the life of Jesus? It is the same as His name, which means nature, character, and authority. We are baptized into His name. Non-Spirit filled Christianity has not touched the authority part. The "these signs will accompany those who believe" part. These were supernatural signs they, in large part, refuse so according to this verse, they are not believers as the scripture hath said. And as far as coming into His nature, they consider impossible. The falling away has already started with them, so pray that they come into the full gospel in the latter rain.  Although the apostates will deny it, God's plan for mankind and the earth is clear and simple. He planned to perfect a Son through Whose spiritual seed of His Word He would have many offspring like Himself. (Heb.2:10) For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. (11) For both he that sanctifieth and they that are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren. God knew these sons before the physical creation and spoke them into existence. He planned that they would be born and fashioned through the seed of His eldest Son, coming into His image. (Rom.8:29) For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Those who accept flesh-appeasing doctrines do not bear the image or fruit of this Son and prove themselves to be called but not chosen. Clearly, when God inspects His crop, He only chooses the fruit that is born of the Word, 30-, 60-, and 100-fold as Jesus said. Those who accept this fleshly life instead of the life of Christ are as “Esau, who for one mess of meat sold his own birthright” (Heb.12:16). Multitudes have been sons of Abraham through faith, but will prove themselves to be the seed of Esau and be cut off. (Isa.63:1) Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah?…. “Bozrah” here means “sheepfold” and was the capital of Edom, Esau's seed. These apostate sheep will be cut off and trodden under foot in the great winepress of the wrath of God. (2) Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winevat? (3) I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yea, I trod them in mine anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment. (4) For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. Now we see a more inclusive meaning of “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated” (Rom.9:13). The scenario is repeated in a parable Jesus gave concerning the end of the Jews' covenant, when the fruitful escaped but the apostates went into the wrath in 70 A.D. This is also a type about to be fulfilled in the end of the Church's covenant. (Luk.13:6) And he spake this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit thereon, and found none. (7) And he said unto the vinedresser, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why doth it also cumber the ground? (8) And he answering saith unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: (9) and if it bear fruit thenceforth, [well]; but if not, thou shalt cut it down. The husbandman, the Father, had given three years to the fig tree of His people to bear fruit. According to the Law of First Mention, the number three by itself is first found in the Bible in Genesis 6:10, “And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.” The seed of the saved of all mankind was in these three. They were in the ark of grace, (Gen.6:8) But Noah found favor (grace) in the eyes of the Lord. The next three verses in Genesis 6:11-13 speak of the total corruption of mankind and God warning, “I will destroy them with the earth.” God said almost the same thing in Jesus' parable after the three years, “cut it down.” However, the Son's intercession gained a fourth year of grace. There is also a First Mention in the New Testament for “three.” (Mat.12:40) For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Notice that God's grace through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus for all mankind, symbolized by the number three, is spoken of four times, possibly symbolizing God going the extra mile here.  The Father was disappointed in the lack of fruit on the tree that represents His apostate people and gave command to “cut it down.” The vinedresser, His Son, interceded for one more year's grace, until he could “dig about it,” breaking up its fallow ground through tribulation, “and dung it” through persecution to see “if it bear fruit… but if not, thou shall cut it down.” We should not be deceived; those who do not bear fruit before the end of the Tribulation will be cut off and fall away. Notice that the Lord ultimately is only coming for the “fruit” of the spiritual man, not the “fig tree” of the natural man. Our natural life is only the earth in which God has planted the seed of His Son, the Word, so that He bears fruit in us (Mat.13:19-23). Only He that came out of heaven will go back. (Joh.3:13) And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, [even] the Son of man. (Note: “who is in heaven” is usually added here but is not in the ancient manuscripts and has no numeric pattern.) Bearing fruit is normal for those who walk by faith, but for those who profess Christ while they do not believe His Word to bear fruit, there is destruction. (Jud.1:5) Now I desire to put you in remembrance…that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. Moses also interceded and delayed the cutting down of the fig tree in his day, but some continued in unbelief and murmured, and God overthrew them in their wilderness tribulation (Psa.106:21-26). Some of you would say that God can't break His promise to bring us into His kingdom. Haven't you read that God disinherits His people who do not believe? (Num.14:11) And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people despise me? and how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have wrought among them? (12) I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a nation greater and mightier than they.  God “sware” He would bring them to the Promised Land and then changed His mind because they did not keep their side of the covenant through walking by faith. (30) Surely ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware that I would make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. God revoked His promise and then promised they would fall in the wilderness tribulation. (34)…Ye shall know my alienation (which in Hebrew means the “revoking of my promise”). (35) I, the Lord, have spoken, surely this will I do unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die. The wilderness trials are to prove who the chosen believers are among the called, “for many are called, but few chosen” (Mat.22:14). Because of faith and obedience, God can promise evil or good to a people and yet change His mind. (Jer.18:7) At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy it; (8) if that nation, concerning which I have spoken, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. (9) And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; (10) if they do that which is evil in my sight, that they obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them. Micah prophesied the destruction of Zion, but the people repented, and God changed His mind, as Jeremiah 26:18-19 says. In Exodus 32:10-14, Moses interceded for Israel on the grounds that God promised the fathers to save their seed, and so God repented. However, when the people continued to turn the grace of God into a license to go their own way, Ezekiel prophesied that even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were there interceding, they would deliver only their own souls by their righteousness (Eze.14:14). We must move quickly now to redeem the time for the race is to bear fruit before our individual or corporate allotted time is up. Paul said that “they that run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize” (1Cor.9:24). That One is Christ – those in whom Christ lives, and those who live in Him. Paul called this “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col.1:27). This principle of the race was given to my wife, Mary, many years ago in a dream. She saw us running on a treadmill and up ahead of us was a door that was closing. Then she noticed that the treadmill was deceitfully picking up speed to carry us away from the door. We had to run faster and faster to make progress. This is the way of the world, friend. It is picking up speed, departing from God. Mary said that I made it through the door just as it was about to close, and then I jerked her through. Paul went on to say that the only way to win in this race against the clock is to “exerciseth self-control in all things” (1Cor.9:25). He then enforced this by saying, “I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected” (27). “Rejected” here is from the Greek word for reprobated, meaning “not standing the test.” Paul was saying that even after all his preaching, if he didn't make his body serve the Lord, he would not finish the race and would be reprobated. If it was true of him, then it is certainly true of us. It's not those who call Jesus Lord and do mighty works, but those who bear the fruit of obedience, who shall enter the kingdom. (Mat.7:21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works? (23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Gifts and powers are wonderful and necessary, but they will not gain for us the kingdom; only 30-, 60-, or 100-fold fruit can do that. They who build their house on the Rock that stands the test of the tribulations of life, hear the Word and obey it (Mat.7:24-27). The “works of the flesh” are listed in Galatians 5:19-21 and Christians are warned that “they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” The works of the Spirit are also listed there, but they are called “the fruit of the Spirit.” God's works in us through our faith are His fruit in us. Joel prophesied that when the “day of the Lord” comes, God's remnant, who abide in spiritual New Testament Mount Zion and Jerusalem, will escape the wrath. (Joel 2:31) The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord cometh. (32) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as the Lord hath said, and among the remnant those whom the Lord doth call. David asked, “Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” His answer was, “He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And speaketh truth in his heart” (Psa.15:1-2). At that time, all nations are gathered together against the righteous in “the valley of Jehoshaphat” where, as a type, God divided and destroyed the nations that came against Israel in the time of Jehoshaphat. (Joel 3:2) I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment upon them there for my people and for my heritage Israel…. At that time, the holy ones will be in the ark of God's safety, as Jehoshaphat's people who went forth in 2 Chronicles 20:21 to “give praise in holy array.” It is here that the one world order is divided into three as the nations destroy each other. (2Chr.20:22) And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set liers-in-wait against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, that were come against Judah; and they were smitten. (23)…every one helped to destroy another. The Lord, with His newly glorified saints, will fight against those nations in the Day of the Lord; they will face the winepress of the wrath of God. (Joel 3:11) Haste ye, and come, all ye nations round about, and gather yourselves together: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord. (12) Let the nations bestir themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about. (13) Put ye in the sickle; for the harvest is ripe: come, tread ye; for the winepress is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.  This scenario is clearly set forth in Revelation. First, there is the harvest of the righteous. (Rev.14:13) And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them. (14) And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud [I saw] one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. (15) And another angel came out from the temple, crying with a great voice to him that sat on the cloud, Send forth thy sickle, and reap: for the hour to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. (16) And he that sat on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped. This harvest of the fruitful includes the physically “dead in Christ” and also the dead-to-self in Christ “that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord.” All will receive their earth-transcending bodies at this time. Then, in the Day of the Lord, the harvest of the wicked will come, which includes the many who are called but not chosen for lack of fruit. (Rev.14:17) And another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. (19) And the angel cast his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and cast it into the winepress, the great [winepress], of the wrath of God. (20) And the winepress was trodden without the city, and there came out blood from the winepress, even unto the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs. This harvest includes those “without the city,” that is, the true spiritual city of God, whereas the natural city of Jerusalem will be half-taken and plundered (Zec.14:1-2) because it is mostly wicked. “The great [winepress], of the wrath of God” is the Day of the Lord and is detailed in much more depth in chapters 15 and 16 of our Hidden Manna book. The Lord with His saints executes this slaughter of the wicked with the sword of the spoken Word. (Rev.19:11) And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. (14) And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white [and] pure. (15) And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty. As we can see, the same story of the Tribulation leading to wrath is told many times in Revelation, but in different parables. For instance, the sixth and seventh seal judgments and the seventh trumpet judgment bring the Day of the Lord's wrath, and the bowls, or vials of wrath, are the Day of the Lord's wrath. (Rev.6:12) And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood; (This is after the Tribulation when the great nuclear war darkens the sun and moon and the Lord comes for His saints.) (13) and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree casteth her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind. The fig tree represents God's New Covenant people – Jews and Gentiles. The unripe figs are the people of God who have not borne fruit 30-, 60, and 100-fold and are therefore not picked but fall to the earth to incur the Day of the Lord's wrath. (14) And the heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. (15) And the kings of the earth, and the princes, and the chief captains, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman and freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; (16) and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: (17) for the great day of their wrath is come; and who is able to stand? The unfruitful are destroyed in the wrath, just as the Jews who bore no fruit of the Gospel were destroyed in 70 A.D. In a clear type of the coming of the Lord with His saints, Jesus was on the Mount of Olives with His disciples. As He was about to return to Jerusalem through the eastern gate at the time of the Passover, He saw a fig tree that had not born fruit and cursed it “for ever.” (Mat.21:18) Now in the morning as he returned to the city, he hungered. (19) And seeing a fig tree by the way side, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only; and he saith unto it, Let there be no fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away. According to the Jews, the eastern gate is sealed until the coming of the Messiah. The Mount of Olives represents apostate Christianity, and the cursed fig tree represents those fruitless “Christians” who are rooted in it being reprobated. The timing of the judgment of the fig tree is seen in Zechariah 14:4-5 when the Mount of Olives is split in half, and then Jesus returns with His saints. As we have studied before, Passover is the time when the saints are being passed over by the flood, or winepress, of war because they are in the ark. There is no Passover for those who do not eat all of the Lamb and do not have the blood on their doorposts. Then the Lord picks His fruit as the ark lifts off without the fruitless, and they go to defend Jerusalem from the nations. In a type of this, in Matthew 21:9, Jesus rides triumphantly as King through the eastern gate as the multitudes cry, “Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” This was clearly a type of the Lord's coming through the sealed eastern gate in the very end, because Jesus quoted them in Matthew 23:39 when standing at the eastern gate, saying, “Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” So we see that shortly before the Messiah comes as King to defend Israel, He reprobates the unripe figs, which fall to the earth to incur the wrath of God. I would like to explain yet another parable that is found throughout the Scriptures concerning the falling away of the fruitless. The whole Church is identified by God as the sun, moon and stars. (Gen.37:9) And he (Joseph) dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed yet a dream; and, behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars made obeisance to me. (10) And he told it to his father (Jacob or Israel), and to his brethren (the patriarchs); and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? (11) And his brethren envied him; but his father kept the saying in mind. All of the body of Israel is identified here according to relationship as the sun, moon, or stars. The father, who is the head and a type of those who are capable of sowing the seed of Israel, is identified as the sun. The mother, who is a type of those who receive the seed and bring forth the fruit, is called the moon. The children, who are the most immature in mind and actions, are called the stars. These represent the three stages of Christian growth, of which Jesus told us in the parable of the sower. (Mat.13:23) And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. The more fruit of the Word or righteousness a person has, the greater the glory. As we walk in the faith, “it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me” (Gal.2:20) and we grow into the image of Christ from glory to glory. (2Cor.3:18) But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.  We are to grow into the last “glory,” which is described as the image of Christ, the Sun, in us. Paul spoke of the three different glories of the saints, which will be rewarded with three different spiritual bodies that they will receive. (1Cor.15:35) But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what manner of body do they come? (40) There are also celestial (heavenly) bodies, and bodies terrestrial (earthly): but the glory of the celestial is one, and the [glory] of the terrestrial is another. (41) There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory. (42) So also is the resurrection of the dead…. According to Paul and the Holy Spirit, we will all have a sun, moon, or star glory new body in heaven. This is according to what stage we are in when it comes to manifesting the resurrection life of Christ. Everyone wants to know what determines which new body they will have. The short answer is that the glory that we walk in before death or rapture determines the glory of our eternal house or body. God “will render unto every man according to his works” (Rom.2:6). It literally says in 2 Corinthians 5:10 in the Greek and in the numeric pattern, “For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each receive through the body, according to what he hath done, whether good or bad.” Notice that the reward is given “through the body” and what we do “good or bad” determines whether the glory of the new body will be a star, a moon, or a sun glory body. The Greek word for “judgment-seat” here means “footprint tribunal.” This means that we are going to be judged by how closely we walked in Christ's steps. (1Jn.2:6) He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked. Remember that abiding in Christ is to abide in heavenly places. By the works of Jesus through us, we are growing in these progressive glories and putting on the clothing of our new spiritual body while still living in the old body. This is so that, when this body is gone, we do not become naked. (2Cor.5:1) For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens. (2) For verily in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from heaven: (3) if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. (4) For indeed we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but that we would be clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up of life. Our mortal life is to be swallowed by the life of Christ. Paul taught that by faith we are to spiritually put to death the members of the old man, which are his works. (Col.3:5) Put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry; (6) for which things' sake cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience. Notice that those who fail to put off the old man will go into the “wrath of God,” just as the fallen stars or unripe figs. (8) But now do ye also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, railing, shameful speaking out of your mouth: (9) lie not one to another; seeing that ye have put off the old man with his doings, (10) and have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him.  We grow up in the image of Christ from star glory to moon glory to sun glory, or from 30- to 60- to 100-fold fruit, as we put off the old man's works and put on the new man's works. (Rom.13:12) The night is far spent, and the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light (that is star, moon and then sun light). (13) Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in revelling and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy. (14) But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof]. We must cast off the works of darkness and put on Christ by putting on His works. Christ's works are “the garments of salvation” (Isa.61:10). However, the garment spotted by acts of flesh send many to fiery trials to burn up these evil works. (Jud.1:23) And some save, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 1Co.3:11-15 For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire. The true Bride is making herself ready by putting on the works of the bright garment of the glory of God. (Rev.19:7) Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. (8) And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright (Greek: Lampros) [and] pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Notice that our “righteous acts” are the glorious garment.  Friends, don't believe the apostate gospel. God said, “I will give unto each one of you according to your works” (Rev.2:23). Those who say that they have faith but don't need works will not be saved. (Jas.2:14) What doth it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but have not works? can that faith save him? (17) Even so faith, if it have not works, is dead in itself. (18) Yea, a man will say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith apart from [thy] works, and I by my works will show thee [my] faith. (26) For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead. Salvation is not by our works but by faith because it empowers us to do Christ's works. Every place the judgment is mentioned, God judges works because that is how He judges faith.             Let's look closer at the first stage of Christian growth, which is star glory. (Dan.12:3) And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. God told Abraham that his seed would be “as the stars of the heavens” (Gen.22:17). Paul said to the New Covenant Church: “They that are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham” (Gal.3:7). As the stars sit in the heavens with the sun, so He “raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him (that is the Sun) in the heavenly [places], in Christ Jesus” (Eph.2:6). Notice that to be in “heavenly places” is to abide “in Christ.” Those who do not continue to abide in Christ do not bear fruit. (Joh.15:4) Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me. (5)…He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing. (6) If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. As we see, those who do not bear fruit do not continue to abide in heaven. (Rev.6:13) And the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree casteth her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind. Like the fallen figs, the fallen stars represent the falling away of a portion of the spiritual seed of Abraham. According to 1 John 5:11, “God gave unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son” and that is the only place we can claim this gift.  (Joh.15:2) Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he (that is, the Father) taketh it away…. One of the most common ways God takes away these unfruitful “Christians” is to permit the wolves to carry them away. (Deu.13:1) If there arise in the midst of thee a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he give thee a sign or a wonder, (2) and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods (meaning false Jesuses), which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; (3) thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or unto that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.  The false prophets come with deception to weed out the Church of those who do not love truth and purity. (2Thes.2:11) And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: (12) that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. It is the corporate False Prophet that “the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail. For they that lead this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed” (Isa.9:15-16). The false prophet is the tail of the corporate dragon of which we are told that “his tail draweth the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth” (Rev.12:4). Obviously, if even one literal star falls to the earth, there would be no earth, so this has to be spiritual stars falling away. Notice that a third of the Christians, who are stars that are living at the time of the end, will be cast down from their heavenly position in Christ. This does not include merely the religious who are not born again. We have been told that the stars here are angels, but the false prophets certainly do not cast down angels, rather the apostates who believe their lies. These lukewarm, unfruitful “Christians” are rejected from the righteous harvest and fall to the earth to be part of the wicked harvest, “the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God.” In all the verses we have looked at, where the stars fall, there is not one where the sun or moon falls. Only stars are in danger of falling, for they have the least glory or the least fruit. According to Jesus' parable of the sower, the least that would make it into the kingdom is 30-fold fruit. Star glory saints do not all have the same glory, and those who do not have at least the 30-fold fruit will fall. (1Cor.15:41) …One star differeth from another star in glory. I believe a newborn Christian has been given 30-fold fruit, but many leave their “first love” and do not maintain their “first works” so that their lampstand is removed (Rev.2:4-5). They have the 30-fold glory with a new born-again spirit, but that glory becomes diminished by the “garment spotted by the flesh” and its works. They are born again and die again, which is what is meant by “twice dead, plucked up by the roots” (Jud.1:12). We must overcome through faith, or we lose our position in Christ. (Rev.3:5) He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life…. From the rebirth of our spirit (30-fold), we are meant to continue taking the Promised Land of our soul (60-fold) and body (100-fold) until nothing of the old life remains. (Mat.13:33)…The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal (spirit, soul, and body), till it was all leavened. Instead, many live after the flesh so that even their spirits are not preserved. This is like the servant who was given one talent but brought forth no fruit because he hid it in the earth, and for this was cast forth into outer darkness. (1Thes.5:23) And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly (completely); and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Moon glory saints will not fall at the end, for they are 60-fold. Sun glory saints are 100- fold for they have come to maturity and manifested the Son to walk as Christ walked. We are all sons by faith, but those who truly walk in the faith of the Gospel will manifest their Sonship (2Cor.3:18). Besides the differences seen in Jacob's family between the star, moon, and sun glories, there are more. The Lord impressed in my spirit some of these differences. The stars are separate from one another because they have their own glory. We saw that glory is the righteousness of Christ manifested in us. Those who are immature in the Lord are self-righteous and it keeps them separated from one another. This is where the foolishness of denominationalism comes from. Those who are sectarian are star glory or, worse, just religious. However, the second stage of our maturity is the moon glory. We are told that the moon will be turned into blood before the Day of the Lord (Act.2:20). This is death to self, caused by the persecution through tribulation. The moon is united because it is dead, not having its own glory or self-righteousness to separate it as a body. It only reflects the light of the sun, as those who are dead to self only reflect the light of the Son. (Rom.6:5) For if we have become united with [him] in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection. Notice that those who fully manifest moon glory will have sun glory. The third stage is the resurrection life of the Son because we once again have our own glory, but this time it is the glory of the sun. Of course, this is the manifestation of Sonship or “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col.1:27). We seek for this place in Him when the sun is straight up and we are fully walking in its light. (Pro.4:18) But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The perfect day is when there are no shadows of darkness and Christ, the Sun, is manifested in our life. (Mat.13:43) Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father…. It is God's desire that we outgrow star glory to fill up the ranks of the moon and sun glory before Jesus comes. (Isa.30:26) Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the hurt of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.  At the end of the Tribulation, “the light of the sun shall be sevenfold” because a portion of the seven churches will have repented, and become sun glory. At this time, it will be “as the light of seven days” because they will manifest Sonship at the end of the tribulation on the seventh millennial day. Those who refuse to manifest the light in these three stages will degenerate and be spit out of the body of Christ in order to purify it. (Rev.3:16) So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth. After these stars fall, the sun, moon, and remaining stars are darkened because they no longer share their light with the world. The time of evangelization is over and all of the elect are hidden in the ark or martyred and resurrected. (Isa.13:10) For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine. God attributes character to the heavenly bodies because these are His saints, who will no longer share the light of the Gospel with an unrepentant world or its reprobate “Christians.” (Rev.9:20) And the rest of mankind…repented not of the works of their hands….  Let me share a few revelations with you that go along with this teaching.   Death to Self Leads to Resurrection Life G. M. - 1/16/23 (David's notes in red) It was a bright sunny day, and I was walking with someone on the sidewalk. (representing that the sun/Son shines upon us when we walk the narrow road.) It seemed to be on a college campus somewhere. (A college campus represents a place of higher learning.) There were quite a few other people gathered in small groups here and there along the way. It was a beautiful day, and everyone was happy and joyful. At the end of the sidewalk, there were a couple of glass doors going into what I thought was a building, but once inside, I felt that I was in a cave, as it was so dark. (I do not know who was walking with me, but I felt it was someone I knew.) (Jesus is walking with us as we walk the straight and narrow unto the death of our flesh nature represented by the cave. Jesus was buried in a cave after His death by the cross and so must we. There is a parallel between what happened to Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection and what is happening with the Man-child/Bride bodies.) This was not a large cave but seemed to be 30-40 feet long. (The Number 30 is considered the number of maturity and the number 40 represents a period of testing or trial.) The darkness was so dense and overwhelming. The idea of it being a cave never entered my mind before we entered through the glass doors. (We must all lose our fleshly life, which is against God, so that our spiritual life will rule. (Mic.7:7-9) But as for me, I will look unto Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. 8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, Jehovah will be a light unto me. 9 I will bear the indignation of Jehovah, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.) Once inside the doors (Jesus is the transparent Door. We enter the Kingdom only through Him and His resurrection life.) I got separated from the person who had been walking with me. (This reminds me of what Jesus cried out on His cross in (Mat.27:45-46) Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Jesus felt separated, too, during His death experience.) It was very dark, so it was hard to recognize people as they just looked like shadows moving about. (When we are going through our death to self process, we become hard to recognize because we are shadows of our former selves.) I didn't want to stand in the path, so I moved up to the highest row of seating available, which was the third row.) (Jesus said after 3 days I will rise again. The three rows could also represent bearing the 30, 60-, and 100-fold fruit of Christ.) There were planks set into the steep bank of a hill that was very hard dirt. The ceiling of this area was barely above the highest seating space. I sat quietly waiting to hear the voice of the person who walked in with me so I could locate them and sit with them. When I awoke, I did not know what had happened to the person who walked in with me. (He is still there in spirit with us, even in our darkest moments. He promised He will never leave or forsake us.) … There were people scattered about sitting on the rows of planks, but the area was far from full. (The first fruits harvest is small. Few are taught the crucified life or Jesus' message of death to self.) I received by faith at random Jeremiah 4:6 for this dream. My finger was on the words, “flee for safety”. This chapter is very fitting for these days. (Jer.4:6) Set up a standard toward Zion (the Bride):    flee for safety, stay not; for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction. (Those who are dead to self, like the first fruits Bride, are safe from judgment.) The Lord brought to my attention the parable of the sower in Matthew 13. Thank you, Father, for the seed sown upon good ground, for those who hear the word and understand it; that they may bear much fruit and bring glory and honor to Your Name. In Jesus Name, Amen.   30-, 60- & 100-Fold Paths Anonymous. - 10/25/2007 (David's notes in red) I saw three different groups of believers (star glory: 30-fold; moon: 60-fold; sun: 100-fold) and we had to decide which pathway we all wanted to take. There was an extremely huge boulder or rock, like what you see in a mountain. (Representing Jesus and the Kingdom of God.) There were three pathways to choose from to go to the other side. The first was to take a pathway around the rock, which looked fairly flat, and on level sandy ground. This pathway looked off-white, exactly like the sand you see on a beach. (The easy way on the flesh is not the crucified life and may not bear fruit much beyond 30-fold or star glory. It is from this place that many will fall away. This may represent the born-again in spirit, but not completely crucified in the soul, life. Many avoid the fiery trials that burn up the flesh by not walking in the steps of Jesus. The garment for such an individual, if they did not fall away, would be off-white, reflecting their works. To many, the rock is too great to hope to walk on, reflecting their immature understanding of the Gospel and God's plan of recreating Christ in us. These choose the unstable, impure, off-white sand of man's traditions on which to stand.) The second path was to climb up that rock. The steps were carved out of the rock, and it was a steep and high climb. (This represents walking in the steps already set in stone by the Word, which is also standing on the rock of Christ's Word. This will bear more fruit even to 60-fold, or moon glory, but something important is not emphasized on this path.) The third path was to enter into a very narrow opening going into that rock and walk down steep steps, also carved out of the rock. (This is also standing on the rock in the steps of the Word. It suggests more the abiding in the cleft of the rock of safety by entering into Christ's suffering through death to self, spiritually beneath the earth. Through this method, we can transverse the fullness of moon glory and enter 100-fold or Sun glory, Christlikeness.) We were all outside that rock, looking at these 3 paths and deciding which pathway to take. This place was flourishing with grass and trees and was not barren. The pathway into the rock was directly in front of us. The pathway climbing up the rock was to my left (from the rock's perspective, it would have been right [those who walk more as sheep on Jesus' right]) and the pathway going around the rock was to my right (from the rock's perspective, it would have been left [those who walk more as goats on Jesus' left]). Both these were detours to the straight pathway into the rock. (This is God's perfect will -- His chosen path, which few will find.) We could view all the believers taking the different pathways. The vast majority turned to my right (the rock's left) because that way seemed bright, flat, and sure, which could be easily negotiated. (“There is a way that seemeth right unto man” but is really left unto God. Many are comfortable with the worldly “Christian” life where discipleship is considered unattainable and something that has passed away.) There were some turning to my left to climb the rock. Again, it was bright, and the steps seemed visibly carved out from the rock, though the ascent was very steep and the height was frightening. (This is the life of faith without the emphasis of the crucified life.) However, the pathway into the rock was not as visible as the pathway outside; it seemed the scariest. (Because it represents the self being swallowed up by the life of Christ through death to the old man and walking by faith.) I saw one believer from my church wearing white, calling me to follow her. Most took the pathway around the rock, whilst there were very few people who climbed on top of the rock or went into the rock. (It is always a few who take the best paths.) The believer from my church started climbing the rock. I did not follow her but went into the rock. (We cannot follow others' individual path or that of churches and religion, or denominations. God has a scriptural plan for each of us.) One could not see the steps before you -- you had to descend by faith, but as you descended it got easier, and I remember thinking that from the outside it looked like a difficult, narrow, dark, and unknown pathway, but when you walk by faith, God's grace is sufficient to hold your footing in the steep descent. I felt tremendous confidence and joy whilst going on my journey; it was not scary at all. (The more we die, the easier life becomes because we have more of Christ and less of us.) This path was not taken by most people, and the dream ended here. The two paths: the one to the right of the rock mountain and the one into the rock mountain. Both point out scriptural needs in our life and paths in which the most glorious will major. The easy path of star glory is the one from which the greatest falling away will come. (Rev.6:13) and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree casteth her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind. When I shared this interpretation with [“Anonymous”] she had just received this confirmation from the Lord: “I too was told that this is the 30-fold pathway where a lot of people will fall”.   Climbing and Entering the Rock Mountain P. O. – 2015 (David's notes in red) P.O.'s introduction: I am typing this dream from memory, but that's not a problem because it was a very memorable experience. When I originally gave this dream and testimony in the assembly, I remember some of the verses the Father gave me at that time, but not all of them. At the time when I shared it with the brethren, I emphasized the part of the dream about 'being above it all', that (Eph.2:6) He raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus... and that we are (1:21) far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come... I emphasized that part for two reasons: First, because we were heavily coming against the chemtrails threat. Secondly, the part about entering the rock was very difficult to describe, so I gave it less emphasis than it merited. Here's the dream: I was climbing a rock that was also a mountain. (Jesus is the Rock and the mountain or Kingdom of God. Jesus is Mt. Zion into which the Bride will enter and be one with Him. On Mt. Zion is the presence of God, the Man-child David and the Bride. Climbing here, represents coming closer and closer to this goal by overcoming obstacles and hindrances to the Word in us. Climbing a mountain is, in many cases considered a place of safety and so it is in this case.) The ledge was narrow and close. (Mat.7:14) For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it. (The way is as narrow as the obedience to the Word restrains our actions. Those whose actions are not conformed to the Word are not climbing this mountain.) There was one place on the ledge that I had just come from that had lots of pebbles, like loose debris. I could hear pebbles skittering off the edge, echoing, like they were going down, almost forever. I felt my heart kind of skip a beat. (I have known people who were climbing this mountain through faith but stumbled at the rock, being disobedient, and fell away. (Rom.9:30) What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who followed not after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith: (31) but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law. (32) Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by works. They stumbled at the stone of stumbling; (33) even as it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame. (Joh.6:28) They said therefore unto him, What must we do, that we may work the works of God? (29) Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (Eph.2:8) for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; (9) not of works, that no man should glory. Condemnation is generally the devil's way of bringing us under law to our own works, which brings no faith or fruit. God's way is to repent and believe, and He will give you grace to climb the mountain.) I thought briefly about turning back, but it seemed like a bad idea. (Heb.10:38) But my righteous one shall live by faith: And if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him. (39) But we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition; but of them that have faith unto the saving of the soul. When I arrived at what seemed to be nearly the peak, I rested my back against the mountain, while my face looked skyward. I was so high that I was above the clouds. (Climbing Zion represents the height of obedience, which is also the height of sanctification and safety. (Psa.125:1) A Song of Ascents. They that trust in Jehovah Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever. (2) As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So Jehovah is round about his people From this time forth and for evermore. (3) For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; That the righteous put not forth their hands unto iniquity. (4) Do good, O Jehovah, unto those that are good, And to them that are upright in their hearts. (5) But as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel. (Psa.15:1) A Psalm of David. Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill? (2) He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And speaketh truth in his heart; (3) He that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor; (4) In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not; (5) He that putteth not out his money to interest, Nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved. (24:3) Who shall ascend into the hill of Jehovah? And who shall stand in his holy place? (4) He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, And hath not sworn deceitfully. (5) He shall receive a blessing from Jehovah, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. (6) This is the generation of them that seek after him, That seek thy face, even Jacob. [Selah] Considering the many threats, temptations and obstacles that are ahead, we need to abide in Christ, the secret place of the Most High. (1Jn.2:24) As for you, let that abide in you which ye heard from the beginning. If that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you, ye also shall abide in the Son, and in the Father. (2Jn.9) Whosoever goeth onward and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same hath both the Father and the Son. Judgment is at the door; repent of sin against the Word and believe.) I never even saw any ground. It was all rock and sky. (This represents that worldly temptations are left behind. I am crucified with Christ.) I remember thinking, “Nothing can affect me here”. (Gal.2:20) I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me. (Gal.5:24) And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof. (Again, this was the part that I tried most to communicate to the brethren that night.) I was “in heavenly places” and “far above all rule, and authority, and power”, as the Word says. But then the 'twilight zone' part happened. I felt the urge to turn and sort of 'fall into' or embrace the rock face. (Mat.21:43) Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God ... shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (44) And he that falleth on this stone shall be broken to pieces... I extended my arms out as I turned 180 degrees, as if I were going to hug something really huge. This was when it was as if the rock absorbed me. (The ultimate end of the climb of sanctification by the Word is to be one with God and to be one with our brethren in Him.) It was something like one of those old movies where a wall somehow opens up to reveal a secret door. Then, in the blink of an eye, the door and person disappear. In the movies, they've gone somewhere mysterious. This is like what happened. When this occurred, I thought, “Why do I want to go into this rock?” My natural mind wanted to tell me that it would be dark and uncomfortable. But that is what I wanted, and that is what happened. I embraced the rock and it was as if a secret chasm or door cracked open to take me in. (Joh.10:9) I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture. (Mat.10:39) He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. (Joh.12:25) He that loveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. End of dream. Final thought and prayer: The night that I shared this dream/testimony, I tried to demonstrate the last part to our group, failing miserably at the attempt to demonstrate a rock mountain absorbing a person. In our natural minds, this seems like a nightmare or a B-rated movie. But in the dream, it felt perfect and right. (Because this path brings us to the joy and peace of a cleansed conscience. It brings us to serve God because of the love of Him, rather than just fear of Him, which is “the beginning of wisdom” but not the end of it.) Father, thank You for giving this dream to us and helping us to understand what You are saying. Your Son is perfect and right. And we thank You for our being in Him. From Isaiah, I am reminded of a favorite 'rock' passage: (Isa.50:7) For the Lord Jehovah will help me; therefore have I not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame. (8) He is near that justifieth me; who will content with me? let us stand up together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. (9) Behold, the Lord Jehovah will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? behold, all they shall wax old as a garment, the moth shall eat them up. (10) Who is among you that feareth Jehovah, that obeyeth the voice of his servant? he that walketh in darkness, and hath no light, let him trust in the name of Jehovah, and rely upon his God. Thank You that Jesus is our Rock and that we will never be put to shame. Because we are in Him, we can turn our faces like flint and never look back. And, lastly, (Job.13:15) Behold, he will slay me; I have no hope: Nevertheless I will maintain my ways before him. Thank You, Father. We no longer live, but Christ the Rock lives in us. Amen.

Building Christian community is one of the hardest things we are engaged in. The relative progress we have made in this venture is one of the greatest signs of God's blessing. Only the Holy Spirit can knit people like us together. But it also requires great wisdom, constant vigilance, and addressing sin. Bitterness and envy are not little sins that can be ignored. They are cancers that destroy families and churches and nations. The Text: “And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we will burn thine house upon thee with fire…” (Judges 12:1-15)King's Cross Church is a member congregation of the CREC in Moscow, ID. Believe His Prophets

On that day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the people; and therein was found written, that the Ammonite and the Moabite should not come into the congregation of God for ever;2 Because they met not the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: howbeit our God turned the curse into a blessing.3 Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.4 And before this, Eliashib the priest, having the oversight of the chamber of the house of our God, was allied unto Tobiah:5 And he had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded to be given to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the priests.6 But in all this time was not I at Jerusalem: for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon came I unto the king, and after certain days obtained I leave of the king:7 And I came to Jerusalem, and understood of the evil that Eliashib did for Tobiah, in preparing him a chamber in the courts of the house of God.8 And it grieved me sore: therefore I cast forth all the household stuff to Tobiah out of the chamber.9 Then I commanded, and they cleansed the chambers: and thither brought I again the vessels of the house of God, with the meat offering and the frankincense.10 And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled every one to his field.11 Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place.12 Then brought all Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries.13 And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren.14 Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.15 In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals.16 There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.17 Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?18 Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.19 And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.20 So the merchants and sellers of all kind of ware lodged without Jerusalem once or twice.21 Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.22 And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.23 In those days also saw I Jews that had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab:24 And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews' language, but according to the language of each people.25 And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.26 Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.27 Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?28 And one of the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was son in law to Sanballat the Horonite: therefore I chased him from me.29 Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood, and of the Levites.30 Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and the Levites, every one in his business;31 And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.

Why does your spiritual life feel stuck right now? You know you are supposed to love God with everything you've got, but it feels more like an obligation than a fire. You sing the songs. You show up. You try to want it. And still, something feels distant. In this sermon, Dr. Mark Harris opens our brand new series Counterfeit Kings by walking us through the only person in the entire Bible of whom it is said that he loved the Lord with all his heart and all his soul and all his very. The Hebrew Shema in Deuteronomy 6:4 to 5 is the most famous text in all of Jewish life, repeated every morning, every night, taught to children before anything else. Jesus said this command is the foundation of every other one. And yet only one person in the whole biblical narrative is named as having fully obeyed it.That person is King Josiah, and the wild part is that Josiah came from one of the most disastrous family lines in Scripture (2 Kings 22 and 23, 2 Chronicles 34 and 35). His grandfather Manasseh was the most wicked king in Judah's history. His father Ammon followed the same path and was assassinated in the palace when Josiah was eight years old. The Bible had been hidden or destroyed. Idol worship, child sacrifice, and every false god imaginable were woven into daily life. And yet at 16, this kid made a decision in his heart to seek God. By 20 he was destroying altars Solomon himself had built 300 years earlier. And a few years later, he found the lost Book of the Law inside the temple and tore his clothes when he realized how far his people had drifted.Dr. Mark Harris pulls four characteristics out of Josiah's story for anyone wanting to love God for real and not for show. Need him. Weed the garden of whatever competes with him in your music, your screens, your scrolling, your habits. Feed your soul on his actual word, not just other people's sermons. And lead others toward him because you cannot help it.Dr. Mark Harris closes by tracing the line that finally lands at Jesus. Twenty five years after Josiah died, the Babylonians destroyed the temple and the palace, and Davidic kingship looked over forever. Six hundred years later, Matthew 1 opens with: the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David. The promise did not die. The true King came, not to defeat a foreign empire, but to defeat hell itself for everyone chained to it who did not even know it.If you are tired of going through the motions, this teaching gives you a path back to wholehearted faith.

What Happens When Praise Goes First? 2 Chronicles 20:21-22 "After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.”As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.” In this chapter of Chronicles, God's people have armies coming to attack them from three different places.  Things were not looking good.  Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel, son of Zechariah, as he stood in the assembly.  He told the king and all the people of Judah that they shouldn't be afraid because this was not their fight. It was God's fight.  He told them to march down against the invading armies, but that they would not have to fight the battle.  This is where the verse picks up.  “After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: 'Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.” Jehoshaphat and his army were headed into what seemed like a hopeless battle.  There were three different armies waiting to destroy them and take their land.  You would think they would have the soldiers lead them in this battle.  Even if they trusted God, you would think that just to be on the safe side, you would have the soldiers go first.  However, King Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise Him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out to face the armies.  “As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.” Did you catch that last part?  It doesn't say that once they started fighting, the Lord gave them victory.  It doesn't say their enemy was defeated by their mighty hand.  It says that as they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against their enemy, and they were defeated.  They didn't even have to fight a single person.  They didn't have to lift their hands at all in this fight. They just needed to lift up their voices.   Do you have enemies that you need to defeat?  Are you praising God now while you are in the middle of it, or are you waiting until you get out of it? Sometimes we are trying to fight our enemies on our own.  We know we need God, and yet we ask Him for so much that we feel we should try to do this one on our own.  Yet, instead of leading with praise, we lead with anger, frustration, sadness, jealousy, and whatever other emotions we are feeling at the moment.  Can you think of a time when you have charged into a situation with your emotions leading the way?  How did that work out for you?  For me, it never works out.  When I go into a situation on my own without inviting the Lord to come with me, it never works out as I intended it to.  However, when I do think to praise the Lord while I am in the middle of a difficult situation, it always turns out well.   There are times when we think God has abandoned us.  We are praying and it does not seem like He is with us. Maybe we are the ones who have abandoned God.  We may be praying, but are we praying with a hopeful heart?  Are we trusting God will come through for us when we pray?  Are we praising God for all He does for us?  God is working in our lives every single day. Are we praising Him for that?  I talk a lot about gratitude because I think it is so important to go through life being grateful for what we have.  I think when we are grateful for what we have, God blesses us with more.  Being grateful is also a great way to shift our mood if we are feeling sad or having a bad day.  Sometimes, all it takes is a perspective switch, and we can turn our whole day around.   Praise is different from gratitude.  Sometimes, we can be praising God for what we have and what He has done for us, and yet praise is so much more than that.  We can also praise God for who He is.  Sometimes we are in a situation where we may not want to or be able to praise God for the situation. For instance, in this verse, God's people were not praising God for the situation they were in.  They were not grateful that they had three armies coming after them.  They were praising God for “the splendor of His Holiness.”  They were praising God for who He is.  He is the Fountain of Life.  He is the great “I AM.”  He is the Just One, and He is the King of kings.  He is the Lord of Lords, and He is the Light of the world.  He is the Lord our God.  He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.   How often are you praising God for simply being God?  How often are you spending time in prayer, thanking and praising God for being everything you need Him to be?  Maybe the next time we are in a hard situation, instead of charging into the situation with our guns blazing, we can lead with our praise.  Instead of leading with our anger, frustration, and sadness, we can lead with our praise.  God is always there for us.  Let's be there for Him.  Let's give God the praise that He so rightly deserves.  The thought just came to me that not everyone knows how to praise God.  There is no specific way.  I love to listen to praise and worship music, which is really any Christian music.  I am also part of a prayer group, and we praise out loud to the Lord, thanking Him for all He has done and all He Is.  I say phrases such as those listed above, things such as, you are the Light of the World, You are the Word made flesh, You are the King of the Kings.  You can also think back to all you have and thank God for that one by one.  You can thank God for everyone He has brought into your life.  Praise is time spent with the Lord when you are either thanking Him for something or you are talking about all the reasons He is awesome!!  I challenge you to find some time in your day-to-day and praise the Lord.  You can do it silently within your own heart, or you can shout it from the rooftops and everything in between.  Whatever you feel comfortable with.  The more you praise, the more comfortable it will feel to you.  Also, the more you praise, the more you will see God working in your life.   Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless all those listening to this episode today.  Lord, help us to praise you more.  Put praise for you on our hearts so we long to do it.  Give us a thirst for praising you, Lord.  It is so amazing how you defeated Judah's enemy when they started to praise you.  Lord, we have many enemies, and we need you to defeat them.  Help us to praise you first instead of trying to fix it all ourselves.  We love you, Lord; you are so powerful.  You give Light to our lamps.  You straighten our crooked path.  You are always by our side, and we are so grateful.  I ask all of this in accordance with your will and in Jesus' holy name, Amen. Thank you so much for joining me on this journey to walk boldly with Jesus.  This month inside Walk Boldly With Jesus Mentoring, we're talking about the Father's love. Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the Lord. And the people did yet corruptly.3 He built the high gate of the house of the Lord, and on the wall of Ophel he built much.4 Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers.5 He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third.6 So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.7 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.8 He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.9 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

Now that Saul had established his authority as king, Samuel the prophet retired. Of course, he did not retire from his calling as a prophet: he would continue to pray for the people and teach them the ways of God. He retired from his work as leader of his nation, and therefore from many of his public activities. But God would still have important work for Samuel to do.The people had been wrong to desire a king. The enemy whom they feared, King Nahash of Ammon, had already been defeated. But God had permitted Israel to have its first king, and both he and the people had the serious duty to remain loyal to God.

Believe His Prophets

It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.4 And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.5 And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court,6 And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?8 And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying,9 If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.10 And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;11 Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.13 And all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation;15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord.19 And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high.20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.26 And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.28 And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the Lord.29 And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel.30 So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.31 And Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah: he was thirty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.32 And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and departed not from it, doing that which was right in the sight of the Lord.33 Howbeit the high places were not taken away: for as yet the people had not prepared their hearts unto the God of their fathers.34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel.35 And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly:36 And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber.37 Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the Lord hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.

In 701 BCE, Assyrian king Sennacherib launched his western campaign against Judah, bringing him into direct conflict with King Hezekiah and the political counsel of the prophet Isaiah. The decisive field battle of that year was not at Jerusalem, but at Eltekeh, where Assyrian troops defeated an Egyptian and Kushite force sent to support the rebellious Philistine city of Ekron. This episode reconstructs the full 701 campaign from Assyrian annals and biblical accounts, beginning with the minor 702 operations in the Zagros mountains against Zamua, Parsua, and Ellipi, then following Sennacherib to the Phoenician coast. We cover the flight of Luli, king of Tyre, to Cyprus, the installation of Itobaal at Sidon, and the submission of eight Levantine rulers from Ashdod, Byblos, Ammon, Moab, Edom, and Arwad. We then turn to Philistia: the internal coup at Ashkelon, the Ekronite revolt that handed King Padi over to Hezekiah, and Sennacherib's restoration of Padi after the victory at Eltekeh. The episode explains why Jerusalem faced only a blockade rather than a full siege, examines Isaiah's advice against an Egyptian alliance, and considers the logistical, political, and possible epidemiological reasons Sennacherib withdrew with massive tribute but without taking the city.Music from the show: oldeststories.net/music (or search "Oldest Stories Music")Support the show:Books: https://a.co/d/7Wn4jhSDonate: oldeststories.netPatreon / YouTube members get bonus episodes: patreon.com/JamesBleckleyNo-AI readings of ancient texts: youtube.com/@osnightreading

Honoring Leadership Authority (2) (audio) David Eells, 5/6/26 Precious Father, we thank You so much for opening our understanding so that we can cooperate with You in these days to come. Lord, put a sense of Your sovereignty in us that we might know that You are in control of all these things, and that history repeats because there's only One mind in control, and that is Yours, and that we can put our trust totally in You. You are teaching us not to lean upon the arm of the flesh, or the strength of man, but to lean on You in faith, to trust in You as our Savior in all things. And we thank You, Father. Lord, this teaching of honoring leadership authority certainly puts us in a position of weakness, where we need to trust in You to be our defender. And we thank You, Lord, that You are omnipotent, You are all-powerful to take care of Your people, to defend them, and provide for them. And we thank You, Lord. We can trust You. We thank You, Lord. Hallelujah! Amen.  In thinking on Revelation 13, how in verse 7 that the beast is making war on the saints, He commands the saints that if any man shall kill with the sword, with the sword must he be killed. The Lord has put us in a position of weakness. Here, the beast is making a physical war on the saints, but they can't do any physical warfare. They need to fight using the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and trust God as Savior.  And it wasn't any different with Jesus. He said to Peter and the disciples, Mat.26:52 Then saith Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into its place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. In the next verse, He said He could call down twelve legions of angels, if he really wanted to fight. He trusted Himself to God as Savior. We just looked at quite a few promises to the people who will not go out and fight with the beast. And on the other hand, God made quite a few very ominous threats to those who do. There's a revelation in Ezekiel 17, which I'll just touch on. Here's a parable that the Lord gave to me through the word of knowledge, which helped me to understand what was being said. Israel in this story was between two great eagles. One of them was Babylon, and the other was Egypt. Except that the Father pointed out to me that these two eagles represented the same country. And that Egypt here represents a bondage that God's people were to forsake. He forbade them from ever going back to Egypt. And what He meant was Egypt represented the old man in their baptism in the Red Sea. The old man died, and He never wanted them to go back to being in bondage to the old man, or to trust in the strength of Egypt, as He said in Isaiah 30. So you can understand that the beast kingdom, the Great Eagle that was ruling over the nations, at that time was literally Babylon. It was the head of the nations, just like America is today, as the Great Eagle. The Lord showed me in Ezekiel 17 that a civil war would come in which the Great Eagle would be pitted against the Great Eagle. And that's the story here in Ezekiel 17, and many people have never actually seen that, but once it's pointed out to you, it's very clear. Babylon was bringing God's people under dominion. It was taking authority over them, taking their freedom from them. They had their own country, they were free, but now they were coming under the dominion of Babylon. Much like Christianity has been in freedom. But increasingly, we see that it has come under the dominion of the beast, and many laws are taking away Christian freedoms. And that's the parable here. So when He speaks about making a covenant with Israel, He's talking about the end time covenant. Ezekiel represented the Man-child of Revelation 12. Ezekiel was caught up to the throne of God. He saw God. He was ordained of the Lord there, and he received an anointing there in Ezekiel 2, verse 1. When this happened, he immediately began to be called the Son of Man, like Jesus, Who was also the Man-child. Throughout the whole Book of Ezekiel, he's called the Son of Man. The ministry of the Man-child is going to be opposed by the apostate church. The Jews wanted Jesus to fight with Rome, but He would have nothing of it. His battle was always with the Pharisees and the Sadducees. He didn't want any battle with Rome whatsoever. Rome had been given authority over Israel because Israel was rebellious, and Jesus wasn't going to go against His Father. It's the same situation with Ezekiel. He was trying to tell them not to fight with the king of Babylon. Like Jesus and Jeremiah, his battle was with the apostate leadership of God's people.    Let's start in Eze.17:11 Moreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, (he's warning the people) saying, 12 Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and brought them to him to Babylon. (Well, this literally was Jehoiachin, who was the king when Babylon came, and took him, took the princes, and thousands of God's people away to Babylon. But then he did something else.) 13 And he took of the seed royal, and made a covenant with him; he also brought him under an oath, and took away the mighty of the land;  So here's the word ‘covenant', and the Lord showed me in previous revelations that this person was Zedekiah. His administration was the one that the king of Babylon set up. He took of the seed royal, and he made him a ruler over Israel, and He made a covenant with him. Now, I believe that this first part of Jeconiah and that whole leadership being taken into bondage has already happened. I believe where we're headed now is the covenant, and the covenant was made with the Zedekiah administration.  A bondage of the world beast of seven heads and ten horns is coming. I'm going to share a portion of what this ‘taking into bondage' represents, which will be a time in our day. The name of the article is Baiting the False Prophet. Ecc.3:15 That which is hath been long ago; and that which is to be hath long ago been: and God seeketh again that which is passed away. Our modern-day revival of the Roman Empire, the U.S. over the Alliance of Nations, is doing exactly what Constantine did to unite the earth. Those false prophets sat at Constantine's table, and a modern-day false prophet leadership will sit over the Alliance of Nations. A modern equivalent or type has happened. The Reverend Sun Myung Moon, was the leader of the Unification Church. And he claimed that Christ failed in His mission, that he himself was the new Messiah who had come to finish the job and to unite the world through uniting religious forces. Almost all of the well-known evangelical Christian leaders and their organizations were beholden to this man. It was not by accident, it's was by design. He took his work very seriously. As a billionaire, he targeted these influential leaders with the hook and bait of bailouts and grants and political power and prestige, and so on. I couldn't believe how these men showered admiration for this lost man. He brought them what they lusted for while unifying them through his related organizations: the Council of National Policy, the Coalition for Religious Freedom, the Council of 56 of the Religious Roundtable, and others. It is here that he associates them with the leadership of the Central Intelligence Agency, the Council of Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, Freemasonry, all closely tied to the Bilderbergers. Do you think this couldn't happen again on a larger scale? This shadow government was joining the leaders of apostate religions together as a false prophet of unity to the masses of Christians who don't know that they, as a harlot, were being sold into bondage to the beast. History repeats as the apostate leaders were set at Constantine's Round Table to build an end-time Catholic or Universal Church. In like manner, Babylon took the leadership of God's people captive and made a covenant with them. I give these verses Eze.17:12 Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and brought them to him to Babylon. (and that was Jehoiachin or Jeconiah; His name has been used in those two different ways. That's just a different version of the same name.) But then, in verse 13, where we just read, he raised up one of the royal lineages and made a covenant with him. Before I read that, I want to read this. An assortment of other ecumenical movements has worked on the whole religious world to bring this unity to pass. In other words, we see in the United States that this has been an effort for many years but not only that, it's happened around the world. The United Religions Initiative was putting together a UN of all religions worldwide called United Religions in their hope of bringing peace And Dominion. Like Constantine formed to make peace between the religions to bring peace to the world. George Bush, along with influential people like billionaire George Soros, the Dalai Lama, and Reverend Moon, threw their weight behind the UR. And all of this was in preparation for a US/UN/UR type Roman Empire. So they are lusting for a one-world religion, and they are capturing, through devious means, these people who have found themselves in trouble, money-wise. As we have seen “the things that have been shall be.  Reverend Moon, who's actually acting for this shadow religious beast government, under the tutelage of the CIA got the leaders out of trouble. So that makes them beholden unto him. All of these historic examples and more have come as a type for the future. Thank God their efforts failed for the time was not yet. This second part is yet to come, and that is verse 13 And he took of the seed royal, and made a covenant with him (that was Zedekiah); he also brought him under an oath, and took away the mighty of the land. And so, when I reached this point, the Lord asked me a question when I got to verse 13, and He said, “In how many verses is the word covenant mentioned?” So I started in verse 13, and as I read, I counted and discovered that it was seven verses. And He pointed out to me that that represented the seven years of the covenant. The word covenant is used in seven verses here. And then He asked me, “How many verses until the covenant is broken?” And I counted, and it was about three and a half, in the middle of the sixteenth verse, where he says, Covenant he brake. And then He asked me, “How many times ‘covenant' is spoken in those seven verses?” And it was spoken six times, the number six is the number of the beast and the number of the covenant. Well, I think it's pretty neat. Reading on, He speaks about the covenant, and also about this puppet of the seed royal that the king of Babylon made the covenant with, that he's the one who broke the covenant and rebelled to fight against the great eagle king of Babylon. And not only that, he went to the great eagle of Egypt to seek help, strength, horses, and so on, to fight with the king of Babylon. Well, that was a very bad thing to do, because Babylon was already conquering Egypt at the time. So there really wasn't going to be any help from Egypt. They put themselves in a very bad position, because now the king of Babylon was making war upon them. And he tells them that they won't escape. You can read it for yourself when you get time.  But he also said in Eze.17:19 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, I will even bring it upon his own head. The Lord is saying that these people who fought against the king of Babylon were breaking His covenant. Now, He wasn't talking about the beast covenant being His covenant. He's talking about this being His covenant, the Word of God, and His commands. They had been commanded to submit to the king of Babylon (for chastening) and not to fight with him, and they broke their covenant with God.  And he went on to say that these people who fight against the king of Babylon are just like those who will fight against America, in verse 20 And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will enter into judgment with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me. 21 And all his fugitives in all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward every wind: and ye shall know that I, Jehovah, have spoken it. Meaning that those who fight against Babylon, this is the promise that God makes to them. This is a type and a shadow. “That which hath been is that which shall be” … (Ecc.1:9) This is a type and a shadow for our day and the seven-year covenant and what's about to happen when God's people rise up to fight, trusting in the arm of the flesh, because of the mark of the beast. Many other “Christians” will just take the mark to hold on to their standard of living. As we saw, submit does not mean to take the mark. This will cause a civil war in the midst of the Great Eagle kingdom and the Christians will lose as our text proves. The mark is to separate the wheat from the tares for the end approaches. Those without faith in God will take the mark. But a new leadership is being raised up to give last minute understanding to many rebels. 22 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also take of the lofty top of the cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I will plant it upon a high and lofty mountain: That's talking about the Man-child ministry; it was Jesus in His day, and then Jesus in the Man-child ministry in our day as history repeats on a larger scale. The mountain is spiritual Mount Zion. Rev 14:1  And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand (man-child), having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. (the mark of God)… 4  These are they that were not defiled with women (False sects of Christianity.); for they are virgins (Having not received the seed or word of man). These are they that follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, to be the first fruits unto God and unto the Lamb.  So, going back to this Jehoiachin administration and the administration that was taken out of that, the Zedekiah administration, and we go to 2 Kings chapter 24, we can see the whole story. And it shows there are two different people: those who rebel and those who don't. He makes promises to those who don't, and He makes judgments upon those who rebel. This is a type and a shadow for our day and what's about to happen. 2Ki.24:10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged. And verse 14 And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land. (This was in the time of Jehoiakim, when they were taken captive, and when Babylon invaded.) 15 And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon; and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the chief men of the land, carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon. 16 And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths a thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon. 17 And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin's father's brother, king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah. (which means, ‘Yah is might'. This guy felt like he needed to exercise his might against the king of Babylon. They were the people of God, and they thought they didn't deserve this. But Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the writer of Kings here believed that they did deserve what was happening because it was because of their rebellion. This caused God to deliver them over to the king of Babylon. They felt like they should fight to deliver themselves. In other words, to trust in the arm of the flesh, to go back down to the eagle of Egypt, and let the old man rule.) 18 Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem… And verse 20 For through the anger of Jehovah did it come to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. So this is the same place we were in Ezekiel when the covenant was made. He made a covenant with Zedekiah and the people of Israel. They broke it, and rebelled, and they fought. And Jeconiah or Jehoiachin (the same king), and his followers were taken into bondage.  And I want to tell you that the leadership of Christianity will repeat history. They will be taken into bondage except for the righteous. And we're coming to the time of this covenant and this civil war that's about to happen during the time of the Great Eagles. And Zedekiah here represents that apostate ministry. It was said of both Jehoiachin and Zedekiah that they did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord. These were evil kings who rebelled against the Lord. And it's the same today. The leadership of God's people is evil as it was in Jesus' time. They have departed from the word of the Lord and done their own thing. And 2Ki.25:2 So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah. 3 On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land. In their rebellion, God did not defend them, He wasn't preserving them, or feeding them, and He wasn't taking care of them because they had rebelled. He had given them the order to submit, which they hadn't done.  And it reminded me of the apostates who had rebelled against him in Isa.65:12 I will destine you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but ye did that which was evil in mine eyes, and chose that wherein I delighted not. (Listen to this now.) 13 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be put to shame; 14 behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for vexation of spirit. See, this is the exact same thing he says about those who rebel against the king of Babylon and those who don't. He threatens those who rebel with starvation, hunger, and so on. And they eventually flee their land into the nations, and they don't escape even then. This war is going to be totally lost by those who call themselves Christians who stand up to fight will lose this war badly. They're going to be scattered among the nations. And verse 4 Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden (now the Chaldeans were against the city round about); (the Babylonians, the Great Eagle.) and the king went by the way of the Arabah. 5 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him. 6 Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him. 7 And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon. Now, the ultimate end of this situation was that these people were the harlot. I'm sure they considered themselves the people of God, but you remember in Revelation 17, at the end of the tribulation, the beast burned the harlot with fire. And it is the same thing here. 8 Now in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem. (apostate Jerusalem) 9 And he burnt the house of Jehovah, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burnt he with fire. 10 And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about. We see the same story in Jeremiah 24. First, a couple of verses in chapter 23, he said, Jer.23:39 … and I will cast you off, and the city that I gave unto you and to your fathers, away from my presence: Now, why is it in some of the beast attack types, like Assyria, do the people of God escape? Let me read this to you: 2Ch.32:22 Thus Jehovah saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all others, and guided them on every side. 23 And many brought gifts unto Jehovah to Jerusalem, and precious things to Hezekiah king of Judah; so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations from thenceforth. Now, there's the seven-headed beast. Well, Assyria was one of the heads, and Babylon was one of the heads. Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece, Rome, and revived Rome. It's a seven-headed beast. So all of those kingdoms were types and shadows of this end time corporate beast. So how come we see that the time of the Assyrian beast, Jerusalem, and their king were righteous, and they're the only ones that are preserved. Whereas in the time of the Babylonian beast Jerusalem and their king were taken captive? Because we're talking about two different leaderships. God is saying that the backslidden leadership of apostate Jerusalem is going into judgment. And everybody who follows them will follow them into judgment. At the same time, there is a good leadership over the people of God. There is a real Jerusalem, which is the heavenly Jerusalem. So, these people are going to be defended by God; the others are not. That's the difference. There's one unregenerate Jerusalem, as the leadership of God's people, and there's a regenerate. Each one of those beast empires has a type and a shadow for the end time that fits into it. So in Jeremiah chapter 23, He says he's going to cast those apostates off, out of His presence. And Jeremiah, here, represents the Man-child ministry; he's speaking against the rebels, like Ezekiel was doing. What was Jesus doing? Speaking against the rebels like Barabas. Resist not him that is evil, love your enemy, do good to those who despitefully use you, etc. Now, Jer.24:1 Jehovah showed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs set before the temple of Jehovah, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the craftsmen and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. 2 One basket had very good figs, like the figs that are first-ripe; and the other basket had very bad figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad. 3 Then said Jehovah unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, that cannot be eaten, they are so bad. 4 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, 5 Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so will I regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good. The whole government of America is going to take more authority over Christianity in general. Have you seen that the Christians have lost their rights in the UK while the invaders have rights while Starmer kisses Muslim leaders? The rights that Christians have had to speak to other people, and to raise their children the way they want, and on and on. The rapists are set free. Some are going to fight and try to take the country back but prayer, faith, and spiritual warfare, is the method. Some are not going to fight. But He said that this bondage is coming for good to the good figs, but not so for the bad figs.  He said in verse, 6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: (He's talking about New Jerusalem Paul said we were to come to. Nebuchadnezzar destroyed apostate Jerusalem? So what land and what city were they coming back to? The New Jerusalem and the new land.) … I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up. 7 And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Jehovah: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God; for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.  Now these are the people who do not rebel against the king of Babylon. And then He starts to speak about Zedekiah and the people who do rebel. 8 And as the bad figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so bad, surely thus saith Jehovah, So will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt: (who trust in Egypt for strength). 9 I will even give them up to be tossed to and fro among all the kingdoms of the earth for evil; (That's a terrible threat! I think a large portion of Christianity in America will rise up and fight. The more liberal, the more authority used over them, and when their rights have been taken away, the more the corrupt UN demands its rights, the more treaties are made that give the UN authority in the United States. Very leftist treaties  are just waiting for more liberal leadership to come in and loose them or agree with them. But God says that these people who rebel are going to be tossed to and fro among the kingdoms of the earth for evil. They're going to be scattered all over the world, and they're not going to be free there  …to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. 10 And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers. And why? Because they are rebelling against the word of the Lord. God says, ‘Go to your cross,' and they say, ‘I'm not going.' Jesus went to His cross. The Lord is not necessarily demanding a physical death for His people in this cross. But the ones who rebel will definitely find a physical death. That's what He's saying here. They will repent or be destroyed from the face of the Earth. And the next chapter is all about Babylon conquering the nations of the Middle East. The first one is Israel, which represents the church spiritually. Jeremiah the prophet was the one speaking this judgment upon not only the church but the rest of the world. He was the one speaking this judgment and releasing it through the words that he spoke in verse 2 and all of it was because he said, from verses 4 - 6, that they had not hearkened unto the Lord; they were paying no attention whatsoever to what God said in His word. That's why He said this was coming. Listen, there's a judgment coming very fast upon the people of God. The whole world is going to turn, and the head of the United States, too, is going to turn against Christianity for the sake of peace. You're going to see  judgment upon what we loosely call Christianity.  Now go to Jer.27:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim (some of your Bibles say Zedekiah there; it's supposed to be Zedekiah, not Jehoiakim, because he'd already spoken about Jehoiakim back in verse 26. Now he was coming down to Zedekiah. My Bible says properly, Zedekiah. The Amplified version used Zedekiah here instead of Jehoiakim, because Jehoiakim doesn't fit here at all; somebody made a mistake here.) Jer.27:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, came this word unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying, 2 Thus saith Jehovah to me: Make thee bonds and bars, and put them upon thy neck; 3 and send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the children of Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers that come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah; 4 and give them a charge unto their masters, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Thus shall ye say unto your masters: 5 I have made the earth, the men and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I give it unto whom it seemeth right unto me. (We know through reading scriptures that God has given the Earth over into the hand of beast kingdoms that persecuted God's people unto repentance. In every case, they had been rebellious, they had ignored His word, it was not important to them to obey, and so He had given them over into the hand of these beast kingdoms, and now it was Nebuchadnezzar's turn.) 6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon (The Great Eagle in Ezekiel 17. In this case, Jeremiah is the one speaking the word against the people of God, as Jesus did and Ezekiel did, and Jeremiah here represents the Man-child. He preached against the rebels, the bad figs.), my servant (That doesn't mean he was a Christian. But he was serving God in the creation of His people. And since they were rebelling, He was going to bring them a necessary chastening.); and the beasts of the field also have I given him to serve him. The beasts of the field or the beasts of the world. The field is the world, and the beasts here represent the other kingdoms of the world. Babylon was the head of the nations. It was the head of the U.N. in its day. That's exactly like America is today. Jer.27:7 And all the nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the time of his own land come: and then many nations and great kings shall make him their bondman. 8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and the kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith Jehovah, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand. He's talking here about the bad figs, because that's the exact same wording he used about the bad figs, who were the people who rebelled against the king of Babylon. See, when God sends you a chastening, you don't want to rebel against Him. You want to humbly submit to your cross. And that's what's going on here; these people were rebels, and self-willed and wanted it their way. They had taken control over the kingdom of God, and God was sending a chastening, and He said, ‘Submit.' 9 But as for you, hearken ye not to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreams, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:(Let me tell you something, we've been hearing from them for some time, that the church is not going under the authority of the beast. “We're out of here. We're flying away.” But that's not going to happen. This is exactly what they were prophesying then.) And even after it happened that the beast, at the end of chapter 28, it says, Jer.28:11 And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon within two full years from off the neck of all the nations. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way. (So he said, “Okay, okay, so we did come under the bondage of the kingdom, but we're out of here in two years.” And Jeremiah says, “No, you're not. You're going to be here 70 years. You're not going to be out of here until the Lord visits you.”) For instance, in Jer.29:8 For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Let not your prophets that are in the midst of you, and your diviners, deceive you; neither hearken ye to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. 9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith Jehovah. 10 For thus saith Jehovah, After seventy years are accomplished for Babylon, I will visit you, (That's the coming of the Lord. Babylon, in the Book of Revelation, was seven years after this happened. God said He was going to shorten the time. And this is how he shortened it. Seventy years was the type, and it was shortened to seven.) …After seventy (seven) years are accomplished for Babylon, (In other words, your bondage in Babylon, after seven years.) I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. Notice, he only said that about the good figs, who were going to return to that place. We just read that. The rebels were not returning. Now, there will be people who are going to rebel, and they're going to repent, and switch sides because they will gain understanding and submit to God. God's going to be with them; He will be their Savior. He's going to forgive them. But there are going to be people who will not repent, and they're going to be what the Bible calls, “the bad figs, very bad they can't be eaten.” He said in Jer.27:10 for they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land, and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish. 11 But the nation that shall bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, that nation will I let remain in their own land, saith Jehovah; and they shall till it, and dwell therein. 12 And I spake to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live. 13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as Jehovah hath spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? 14 And hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, (We're going to hear a rash of this stuff, how this is not going to continue, that it's all going to be turned around. We've already heard these false prosperity prophets speaking lies about the things that are coming. All the peace and the prosperity and the blessings. I believe the blessings will be gone after NESARA provides to get the Gospel out. And yet, these are the same people who will rebel.) saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon; for they prophesy a lie unto you. 15 For I have not sent them, saith Jehovah, but they prophesy falsely in my name; that I may drive you out, and that ye may perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you. Those who rebel are going to receive this judgment. But God said that He was going to bless and preserve, and He was going to give a heart to the people who did not rebel to know Him - the good figs. He called Hezekiah, his leadership, and Zedekiah's people the bad figs. They were going to be swept from nation to nation under the judgment of God until they perished from off the face of the earth. When God's people get stubborn and rebellious against His Word, He raises up a beast to chasten them, to bring them to humility, to turn them back to the Lord, and when He's through doing His sanctifying work on them, then He turns on that beast and destroys it. God separates the harlot from the true church through persecution. When He's through doing that, then He destroys the harlot by the beast. They think, “We're God's people. God's on our side. We'll fly away.” Well, no, He wasn't, because they were rebelling. How many apostate religious people do you know who sincerely believe that they're the people of God, but ignore the Word of God to trust a preacher who doesn't agree with the full Gospel? You can share the Word of God with them, and they will still ignore it, because they're self-willed. God knows what He's doing. If He tells us to submit, and to turn the other cheek, to love your enemy, to do good to them that spitefully use you, then we have to obey Him. That's what our cross is all about. Some people are not willing to give up their carnal life to gain their Godly life, which Jesus commanded us.

After Saul became king, he simply returned to his work on his father's farm. It seemed as if nothing had happened; some doubted that he could ever achieve anything as king. But when King Nahash of Ammon threatened the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead, Saul did not hesitate.Saul's anger against this cruel enemy was as great as his zeal on behalf of Israel. He demanded that every one of Israel's men must fight to save Jabesh; and so they came, in great force, to the battle.

This podcast gives a few examplesof how the Messenger Malach מַלְאַ֧ךְ in the Hebrew Bible represented or “was” the One  who Sent him See also, podcast #130 “Agency in the Bible: The Human Person Jesus “was” the Father”https://youtu.be/s8FqSysuUGY Theprinciple or practice of the מַלְאַ֧ךְ malach messenger, the one sent. Understanding the Messenger principle is crucial to understanding how many “persons” God is. TheMessenger principle, both as a concept and a reality, means that a person's messenger—theone sent—is regarded as the sender himself.  The proverbialHebrew statement about the Messenger Principle is “השליח שווה לשולחו”the one sent (a messenger) is equal to his sender.” The equality of the onesent to his sender is neither an equality of essence nor of individual one-to-oneidentity. Everyone understood that the messenger was not literally the sameperson nor the same being as the sender. Rather, the messenger was given thesender's full authority to speak and act on his behalf. The messenger carried authorityfrom the sender and was therefore to be regarded as the sender himself. Old Testament scholar John Walton highlights aspects of messenger/agency in the ZondervanIllustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary when discussing the firstappearance of the angel (messenger) of Yahweh in Genesis 16 (to Hagar in thewilderness). Walton explains:In the ancient world direct communication between important parties was ararity. Diplomatic and political exchange usually required the use of anintermediary, a function that our ambassadors exercise today. The messenger whoserved as the intermediary was a fully vested representative of the partyhe represented. He spoke for that party and with the authority of thatparty. He was accorded the same treatment as that party wouldenjoy were he there in person. While this was standard protocol, there was no confusion about the person's identity (emphasis mine).[1] Judges11:12Jephthahsent messengers to the king of the sons of Ammon, saying,"What is between you and me, that you have come to me tofight against my land?" 2 Kings3:7  (King Jehoram son of Ahaz after Ahabdied and Moab revolted)Then he(Jehoram) went and sent to Jehoshaphat king of Judah, saying, "Theking of Moab has rebelled against me. False and True Ministers (1) (audio) David Eells, 4/15/26   Discerning False Prophets J.N. - 06/09/2008 (David's notes in red) I dreamed I was in a class with several other pupils. We were in this big room which looked rather like a gymnasium, and I remember thinking and missing my friends from other classes, who I remembered were long gone away. David Eells was our teacher, and I was standing next to him. (A type of the David man-child reformer body.) David was telling me that the previous night there was a party at his next-door neighbor's house and he didn't get much sleep. (God's people giving into lasciviousness have truly caused conscientious leaders loss of sleep.) He was casually dressed, like a sports teacher or a trainer. (We have to train the people of God to get in shape for the contest to come.) Since I was seeing his profile, I noticed he was wearing a patch or a piece of wool over his nose, like he had a nose job, or even more, it looked to me like something he was wearing to filter the air he was breathing. (This nose filter represents the ability to discern and separate good from evil. The nose gives discernment to the mind that is neither seen nor heard. Wool over the nose represents having the true clothing or actions of sheep, which filter out the false spirits, which is the meaning of “breath” in the Hebrew.) The next thing I remember was a tall man entering the room, accompanied by a woman. (The tall man is seen in many dreams as the larger body of the corporate false prophet and his companion, the harlot church.) They were dressed in suits and looked to me like teachers. The man came and was standing next to me, and I knew they were there to acquire some pupils for themselves. (They will seek through lasciviousness, meaning a license to excess, to draw aside disciples of Christ for their own aggrandizement.) I tried to ignore him since I could tell what his intentions were, and then he pointed his finger at me. I looked around for David but couldn't see him. (We will face temptation alone.) I turned to the man and looked at his face for the first time. He was so tall, almost all the way up to the ceiling; I remember feeling the pain in my neck as I was struggling to look at his face. (His great size represents a corporate body of people.) He was nicely groomed, curly-haired, and had bright grey, watery eyes. (They tend to see things in grey, not black or white, as in wrong or right.) Being determined, I told him that I was not going with him because David was my teacher. As I was saying these words, I was getting weak. I remember being hardly able to say that last word, “teacher”, but I succeeded. He looked shocked and very offended because obviously, he had the authority to choose from the class as he liked, and he looked at the woman (the harlot) with disbelief. He looked back at me, trying to put some smile on his angry face, and then I woke up. (JN's name means “victory”. Although tempted, he obviously represents those who gain the victory over the false prophet and harlot because of his training in discernment. We are told that the Word exercises our senses to discern good from evil: (Heb.5:12) For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food. (13) For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe. (14) But solid food is for fullgrown men, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.)   True and False Leadership Seen Jan Albayalde (David's notes in red) I dreamed these two dreams back-to-back on 08/28/2007.   The Fasting Dream I was sitting in the front row of a huge church that was the true church of the Lord Jesus. The Church was very plain, with white walls and a little wood trim, but nothing ornate or stained glass. A man I don't know walked to the podium to address the people. He was a small man in stature, almost frail. He said just a couple of words, called forward a large man who was about his same age, around 45, had him face the crowd, and began to introduce him. Suddenly, the man at the podium fell on the floor, weeping under the presence of God. At the same time, the man standing to be introduced, who was a Jew wearing a business suit with an azure blue shirt, was also filled with the Spirit and began speaking in tongues. This man was slightly overweight, let's say hearty, with a rosy, robust complexion. He had a lot of snow white hair, so much that I'm sure the Lord wanted me to notice (i.e., it was very high on his head). I rushed forward to help the man on the floor, but before I got to him, as I passed the man speaking in tongues, I became filled with the Spirit, fell on my knees, and began worshipping God. A man in the congregation, a man I DO know as pastor of a local church here, came forward, looked at the man weeping on the floor, the Jew speaking in tongues, me worshipping and said, “This is what happens when you fast and pray; this man on the floor had been in a long fast before the Lord, seeking the face of God and is why the power and glory of God is falling”. An interesting thing about the dream: the man at the podium who had been fasting and fell weeping on the floor was dressed in a suit as he stood, but when I rushed forward to help him, as I fell to my knees under the anointing, I saw he was naked. The man standing behind the pulpit was fasting to weaken the old outer man and so he fell. He was small because “the outer man is decaying yet our inner man is renewed day by day” (2 Cor.4:16). The one introduced represented the new inner man because he had gained what the outer man had lost. He stood in the fast and had a lot of perfectly white hair, meaning much submission to holiness. As in 1 Cor.11:10 the hair is a sign of submission to authority. He had a blue shirt representing heavenly works. He is the spiritual man because he spoke the words of the spirit and is a spiritual Jew because he is circumcised in heart, not flesh. Fasting is so that the old man who is naked, because he is not dressed up with the works of Christ, can be removed so that the new man who is dressed up with Christ in his heavenly works would face the congregation (Rom.13:12-14). This is a good exhortation for the coming new Church leadership to deny feeding self and pray so that Christ, through them, can minister to His people.   The Snake Dream Immediately after the above dream, I dreamed this: I was in my spirit looking down over an orchard of pure white trees which represents the true Church. A huge green snake with huge muted splotches of black along its body appeared at the edge of the grove of white trees. From this point, I no longer saw the trees; my focus was on the snake. Next, the snake turned totally blue. Then the snake turned totally black. End of dream. The green snake is the false leadership of the church or the false prophet. In Acts 16:16 the spirit of false prophecy or divination is translated in Greek as “a spirit; a python”. It is green because it is the natural man ministering and not the spiritual. He stands outside of the white or holy trees, but not in their midst, for he is not holy. The black splotches represent their works of darkness, which are plainly seen. His turning blue as a chameleon represents deception in that he is attempting to be seen as ‘heavenly,' but he serves the (black) darkness and will be seen that way. God is raising up a new leadership for the true church that refuses to feed the flesh, typed by fasting, and the old leadership will be plainly seen for what it has been all along. They will bring a great persecution against the holy, as it was with the Pharisees in Jesus' time.   Man-child Separates False Brethren Ron Shaw - 09/12/2011 (David's notes in red) In a dream on 7/13/10, I heard an audible voice. It said, “It is time for Isaiah 11 and to rid the land of the Palestinians”. I woke up but didn't see anyone. The reference to the Palestinians is not to the physical people in the Middle East but to that spirit that is operating here against Christians. As they work against Israel, so in spirit here against the saints. (The Palestinians were children of Abraham through Ishmael and were considered brothers to the Israelis. In like shadow, there are Christians who are Christians, and there are “Christians” who are Palestinians making war on their brethren while claiming to be the promised seed and owners of the land. Like terrorists and like Judas, they hate and attack their brethren by stealth from darkness. This, along with the types of Jesus as the Man-child, shows Him separating the false brethren from the saints by His Word. Jesus said: (Mat.10:34) Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword (meaning separation). (35) For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law: (36) and a man's foes [shall be] they of his own household. (37) He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. (38) And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me. (39) He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. We see here that the Man-child will separate those who refuse to lose their old life from the true disciples of Christ. They will separate the tares from among the wheat. Their Word is a sword.) The following night, I dreamed we were being divided up into different tribes, and there was such joy, and this would come soon. (Just as the spiritual tribe of Judah with its bride, Jerusalem, is being chosen now, so are the rest of the tribes. The names of the 12 tribes, applied spiritually to the Church, identify them by their nature and works.) (So how does Isaiah 11 rid the land of spiritual Palestinians? In the very beginning, which is the beginning of the tribulation, we see the Man-child comes forth.) (Isa.11:1) And there shall come forth a shoot (David) out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots (Jesus is the root and those who have abided in Him are the roots) shall bear fruit. (Jesus said: Rev.22:16, “I am the root and the offspring of David” and He is the root below in verse 10. Here, we see that this text is speaking of a branch out of David's roots that will bear fruit. This speaks of the first-fruits corporate body to come out of the roots. This branch is the Man-child who is spoken of in Jeremiah chapters 23 & 33, whose corporate name is “Jehovah Our Righteousness” in both texts. “Our” here identifies them as a corporate body of people. (2) And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah. (3) And his delight shall be in the fear of Jehovah; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears; (4) but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. (5) And righteousness shall be the girdle of his waist, and faithfulness the girdle of his loins. (This corporate body looks so much like Jesus because He lives in them by His fruit and Word. He will minister to the whole Earth through them to raise up the Church. He will have latter rain power to judge the Earth and separate the tares.) (6) And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them (the Man-child). (7) And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. (8) And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. (9) They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain (or Kingdom of God); for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea. (The Man-child's truth and anointing will bring unity and peace between the Gentile beasts who normally “bite and devour one another” (Gal.5:15) who were sanctified according to the Lord: (Act.10:11) and he beholdeth the heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending, as it were a great sheet, let down by four corners upon the earth: (12) wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts and creeping things of the earth and birds of the heaven. (13) And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill and eat. (14) But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unclean. (15) And a voice [came] unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, make not thou common. (16) And this was done thrice: and straightway the vessel was received up into heaven. These beasts obviously represent the unsaved, unclean Gentiles, as revealed later in the text. (28) and he said unto them, Ye yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to join himself or come unto one of another nation; and [yet] unto me hath God showed that I should not call any man common or unclean. So the beasts are the Church, whom the Lord will cleanse of their beastly natures. I had a vision of these beasts saved in 2007 called UBM, Refuge from the Storm.) (10) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the root of Jesse (Jesus), that standeth for an ensign of the peoples, unto him shall the nations seek; and his resting-place shall be glorious (We see here nations of Christians seeking rest in Jesus). (11) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, that shall remain (A great revival of those giving up their beastly heritage to follow Christ.), from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. (The Lord will use the body of the Son of David/Man-child to save the beastly from among the nations.) (12) And he will set up an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (13) The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and they that vex Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. (The non-Spirit-filled northern 10 tribes will cease warring with the Spirit-filled who have the temple of His presence.) (14) And they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines on the west; together shall they despoil the children of the east: they shall put forth their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them. (These who warred against their ancient brother can become brothers when born again. Many, including Palestinians themselves, believe they are descendants of the Philistines. The word “Palestine” means “land of the Philistines”. But many Palestinians are Arabs from Ishmael and descendants of Abraham. It is possible they are a mixture. Alexander the Great conquered the Philistine cities and sold at least some of them into slavery. Later, Arabs conquered the Byzantines who ruled over Palestine. Jesus taught that it is the spirit that giveth life, the flesh profits nothing. It matters not what our flesh is, but Who lives in it.) (15) And Jehovah will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind will he wave his hand over the River, and will smite it into seven streams, and cause men to march over dryshod. (The Word of the Lord will judge Egypt, as a type of the world, by the Man-child, as it was with Moses, and deliver God's people from bondage.) (16) And there shall be a highway (of holiness) for the remnant of his people, that shall remain, from Assyria (the beast); like as there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.   Beware of the False Man-child Ministers Eve Brast - 08/31/2008 (David's notes in red) In a dream, my husband and I went to visit David for three days. He lived in a small wooden shack to the right and behind a large white mansion with Roman pillars in front of the porch. (The Revived Roman Empire, one world order harlot church.) He had a long gravel driveway leading back to his shack. He looked like Charlton Heston in “The Ten Commandments”, except he wore some faded blue jeans, a faded yellow t-shirt, and an old, worn-out red flannel shirt over it. (David is an end-time type of the Man-child Moses and Jesus who came in humble surroundings and fashion and were very much obscured by the worldly church of their day, “The large white mansion”. The things that have been shall be.) On the first day, my husband and I were going to sell our only last possession -- an old rusted red and yellow station wagon (the old way under the curse) with a chrome luggage rack on the top in the driveway of the mansion, and give the money to UBM. But David came up and said, “I can restore that for you if you want”. (The reformer ministries will restore the simple original way, which looks very different from the lavish mansions of the worldly, prosperity-minded church.) We agreed, and he pulled out a large sander/polisher and ground the old car down into what looked like a yellow nylon rug (restoring the walk of the sun/Son) and then it slowly built itself back up into a brand new, mint condition 1950s station wagon. (The David/Man-child ministries are reformers to restore the way to travel in -- the old paths or ways of Scripture -- which the prosperous apostate church has cast aside for many generations. (Jer.6:16) Thus saith Jehovah, Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way; and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls: but they said, We will not walk [therein]. (Isa.58:12) And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. (Jude 1:3 Numeric) ...contend earnestly for the faith once delivered unto the saints.) The scene then changed, and I was holding sound equipment in the corner of a room in a white wooden house across the street that belonged to UBM. Still looking like Charlton Heston, David came in and said, “There is a guy who will be coming in, and he is the enemy. He tries to look like me and talk like me and imitate my ministry”. (I have seen these fakes who steal my words and revelations to make disciples of themselves. Just as Pharaoh's magicians copied the works of Moses up to a point. (2Ti.3:6) For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women (local apostate bodies) laden with sins, led away by divers lusts, (7) ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (8) And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth. Men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith. (9) But they shall proceed no further. For their folly shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also came to be.) I was holding a black pole in my left hand that arched out with a black foam-covered microphone on the end (a boom mic) like reporters use in a crowd to pick up sound from the person that everyone is trying to interview. In my right hand, I held a two-way walkie-talkie so that David and I were in constant communication and he could hear everything the imposter was saying and give me advice and instructions. This device also recorded what the imposter was saying. I was also wire-tapped, like someone working undercover with law enforcement to catch a criminal. David said, “Just be real, still, and faithful about holding that sound recording equipment”. (The Bride has recorded in her memory the sayings of the apostate leadership for God to contrast them with the teachings of the true David ministries. No one knows what is wrong with Babylon any better than those who have been through it.) David said, “You will be fine, don't worry. I will be right outside this window next to you.” He left and went out around the outside of the house, and was fixing a hole in the window screen with some needle-nose pliers. A darker-skinned man (symbolizing walking in darkness) came into the room and went over to the other window screen, imitating David, and began fixing the hole in that screen. (Fixing holes in screens is to keep out the curse of flies. Beelzebub is the lord of the flies, or demons. The impostor only started to fix the screen, but they cannot keep the demons out, for they are already in.) He was really close to me, and I was frozen, holding the equipment. He looked like a Hispanic Charlton Heston. (A fake alien.) He had black hair and a beard. (Symbolizing submission to darkness - 1Co.11:10,15) He was dressed the same as David, bragging about how he could do everything David Eells could do and better, but he was railing in my face about it and bragging like a drunk man how he had restored toy guns in the same manner that you had restored our old car! (The impostors are full of pride and selfish ambition to impress others to gain a following, but this fruit reveals their true nature. Toy guns are for show but have no power against a real enemy. Satan doesn't cast out Satan or destroy his own works but puts on a good show of doing this in his impostors, as in the false revivals.) David was on the other window screen outside, saying, “UH Huh” and “Really?” in response to his tirade. When he realized that David was there outside the window and that I (Eve) was recording him, he was furious and stomped out of the room. (The David ministries will discover who these people are who are covertly attempting to deceive Eve like the serpent did. Eve was the wife of Adam, who represents here a type of the Bride to the “last Adam”, Jesus, who will dwell in the Davids by word and Spirit.) David came back into the room, sat down on the empty floor with the pair of pliers still in his right hand, and said, “Did you hear all that?” I nodded in silence, and he asked, “What are we going to do about this guy?” He was tired and perplexed and shook his head. This man was causing problems for UBM that David had never encountered before. (After this dream in 2008, these false apostles came to us one after another, starting around 2010. We always hope to see the good in God's people, but we tried these men and found them false. (Rev.2:2) I know thy works, and thy toil and patience, and that thou canst not bear evil men, and didst try them that call themselves apostles, and they are not, and didst find them false. (2 Cor.11:13) For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ. (14) And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light. (15) It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works. Going through this trial has sharpened our eyesight to recognize these fakes.) The second day, I was sitting in an eye exam office in the den of David's shack behind the mansion. I was sitting behind and to the right of an angelic being with short brown hair and extremely large muscles, who was dressed in a white lab coat. David was facing me as he sat on an exam chair. I was sitting in the maroon chair (This was my chair for a lot of teachings. Eve's perspective is from one who sees and understands with the renewed mind of the true Gospel.) I was relaxing in the chair and watching him get his eyes examined by this angel. A large magnifying glass appeared in front of his left eye, and it became extremely large. I was leaning forward in his maroon chair and really looking hard to see what about his eyes the angel was examining. It seemed like David was amused at my curiosity because I was like a child who was really looking hard at something. His eye behind the magnifying glass then smiled at me in response. His eyes were crystal clear and sky blue and so large under that glass that it seemed as if I looked long enough, someone could see right into his soul. I became embarrassed at his amusement at me and quit looking before I could see that far into his being, though. Then the same thing happened with the other eye! (The crystal-clear eyes of the Man-child reformers and seeing into the soul implies no demonic activity, since many see demons in the eyes of those who have them. The sky-blue eyes represent heavenly vision, such as comes from behind the veil in the temple in the Man-child Melchizedek priesthood. Large eyes represent much discernment that is not normally seen. The Bride desires to look into these things, which will be to the delight of the Man-child ministries.) The angel then commanded to my mind and to David's without talking, “TAKE SEVEN DAYS OFF FOR EACH EYE!” (The left eye suggests discernment of evil and the right discernment of good, such as is seen in Jesus' ministry.) A yellow and pink triplicate form then appeared in front of David, without the white copy on top (the angel kept the white copy) and David got up and went and put the triplicate form on his dining room table. (Seven days is the number of entering into the rest from our own works through faith, but the Davids will rest every day from their own works for good insight, as the New Testament commands. The one in charge of any transaction keeps the original copy, and God is in charge of bringing to pass in His Davids the completed rest from man's works, which will bring discernment to look into a man's soul, as Jesus had.) This shack had no bedrooms. (This indicates that this parable is not speaking of a physical rest.) Then on the third day, I was sitting in David's little living room inside his shack. (Morning of the third thousand-year day, when Hosea 6:2,3 says the Lord will come as the latter rain, and this will be first in His David/Man-child ministries as the former rain anointing came first to Jesus.) He was doing one of the Bible studies, and there was a woman to my left with a bobbed, blondish, streaked hairstyle. (The short hair represents lack of submission to the husband, as in 1 Corinthians 11. The unnatural coloring of hair symbolizes submission to various spirits that are not natural to God's people.) She was his wife in this dream, but very bossy, harping, and controlling of the conversation. (His wife means she was receiving of His seed, representing his Word. But initially, there is not complete submission because of ignorance. But for some this will change. All of the disciples were first in their apostate knowledge until the word changed them.) She was interrogating me to spit out what I saw in the eye exam and what was told to us. (Jezebel is antagonistic and persecuting towards what the true Bride sees in the Davids.) There was another tall, thin man about 6' 4” in a tan plaid western shirt and some blue jeans, wearing a dark blue ball cap; he had messy black, oily hair, and an untrimmed black goatee. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with him, but I knew something wasn't right, and they were there to bring chaos to UBM. (This is a spiritual picture of the same false prophets who attempt to lead away the people from the true path. They are thin, meaning undernourished in the Word of God. The goatee pictures of Satan as the head of the goats, since he is seen as the head of a goat in Satanism. The tan plaid shirt represents the many different works of these men, none of which is as white as the Bride's garment. The oily black hair and dark blue ball cap represent submission to the spirits of darkness. (2Pe.2:1) But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. (Mat.24:24) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.) Then, this woman, who was David's spiritual wife made us all go outside. (The disciples who were just freed from their sectarian denominations began to form another denomination, and Jesus corrected them. (Luk. 9:49) And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us. (50) But Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against you is for you. Paul declared that denominations or sects are a work of the flesh.) Like the harlot church in Israel was led by their false prophets to excommunicate their appointed husband, Jesus, and his disciples, so the end-time Jezebel will excommunicate the David ministries and disciples in whom Jesus lives. Israel was supposed to receive the seed of the Son of God through David's seed, and now the Church is to receive the seed of the Son of God through David's corporate man-child seed.) Then we rode bicycles around his shack with him in the lead on a red bicycle. (Bicycles represent balance and progress, since you must keep moving only forward and stay balanced in the Word. The red bicycle represents a path washed in the blood.) (He seemed to be unaware of the danger that these two people posed to UBM. They took advantage of his tiredness and were taking charge of things.) (Notice that false prophets “shall arise” and may not be apparent at first, just as Judas was hidden among the disciples as he has been among us but they were revealed by dreams and visions. Jesus knew Judas, as will the David Man-child ministers. The Judas' will manifest as the treasonous traitors and thieves that they are.)   False and True Wedding Rehearsal Eve Brast - 12/21/2011 (David's notes in red) In a dream, I was standing with my mom and looking down from a high balcony of a hotel (the Church) onto a wedding rehearsal taking place in an inner courtyard at the ground level. Everything looked white except a curved trail of colored rose petals that ran from the left of the courtyard up to the altar. (There was no minister at the altar. (Because they are not living the crucified life.) This false wedding rehearsal is very deceptive; it even appeared white to me except that I recognized it as being on the ground and of the earthly things, and I respected what the Word has to say about those who dwell on the earth and mind earthly things.) (This Wedding rehearsal is at the ground level because it is for those who dwell on the earth and not in heavenly places, abiding in Christ Jesus. It is a deception that much of the Church has bought into.) There was also a white tent gazebo where a harlot was reclining under on a green lawn chair with a giant squirrel. (A squirrel is a beast that digs in the earth and stores up its treasures like the talent there.) (This beast represents the carnal nature of the harlot -- loving the world and the things of the world. The white is deceptive, for she is not pure. We can see and know by experience that the harlot falsely claims to be the bride of Christ.) My mom (the true church) and I (the true bride) saw a white staircase that extended toward heaven in the center of the courtyard, but did not touch the ground. (It is heavenly and may not be ascended without faith and the resulting help from heaven.) We wanted to go up the staircase in order to see more clearly from a better vantage point during this rehearsal. (Yes, a heavenly vantage point, which only those with the Word have.) We had to go down to the second-floor balcony (spiritual death comes first.) in order to go up to the top landing of the staircase (resurrection life). When we were halfway up the staircase, I noticed that my son Elijah was a three-month-old baby in my right arm. (The Man-child is born from the bride body, in the mist of the larger Church body.) I noticed five women in white dresses who were following my mom and me up the staircase. (The corporate body of the five wise virgins who kept enough oil for their lamps and dwell in the heavenlies and not on the earth will see through this false move of satan to deceive and blind the eyes of those who dwell on the earth, who mind earthly things and have not separated themselves to seek after the Kingdom of God.) When we reached the top landing, the women sat down on the stairs to wait with us, and a purple sponge dripping with water appeared in my hand, and I washed Elijah with it. (The Man-child has now been washed with the pure water of the Word.) As I was looking through a baby bag for a blue outfit to put on Elijah (representing heavenly works), the sponge fell out of my hand over the stair railing and hit the harlot's left foot. (The pure Word will judge the harlots leftist walk.) (All I could see was her left leg from the knee down. She had on a green sequined gown split up to the mid-thigh with a green 3 1/2-inch-high heel pump on her foot.) (Green represents natural not spiritual. Also she wants to appear larger than she is.) When the sponge hit her foot and shoe, the giant squirrel crawled over her (took authority over her) and started to dig a hole next to her foot outside the tent gazebo and bury a large acorn out of its mouth there. (The sponge brings the royal water from heaven, the seed of the Kingdom. It is useless to the harlot who walks with the squirrel beast on the left who buries his treasures in the earth. The beast in her only valued the seed that comes from earth, out of the beast's mouth, the acorn.) After this, I saw a very fat (i.e. fleshly), false bridegroom dressed in a white tuxedo with a yellow rose on his lapel. His hair was very short (Representing lack of submission) and dyed blonde (fake sunship) with blonde beard stubble growth on his face. It was a transsexual who looked just like “Chaz Bono,” Sonny and Cher's daughter, Chastity, who became a man. (The real bridegroom is not at all confused about Who and what He is; He is all male and sows the seed of the Kingdom to bring forth His fruit.) He also had five women wearing white dresses hanging on him in worship and awe. (One behind him and two on each arm. (the five foolish virgins) He had a big smile on his face as he paraded around showing off these women. This is when I woke up. (It seems that these two events will be happening simultaneously. The world and apostate “Christianity” will only see the false wedding rehearsal happening; they won't see the true Man-child ministry when it is anointed to go forth. I asked the Father to give me some verses for this dream. I opened my Bible, and my finger was on: (Mat.1:20) But as he thought on these things, lo the Lord's angel appeared to him in a dream saying, Joseph, David's son, fear not to take to thee Mary thy wife: for what is begotten in her is of the Holy Spirit. (Mary believed God that she would bear the fruit of Jesus ant it was fulfilled. The true Man-child who sows the true seed of the Word, born of the virgin, who has known no seed or word of man.) The second verse I got was (2Co.11:1) Would that ye could bear with me in a little foolishness: but ye indeed bear with me. (2) For I am zealous over you with a zeal of God; for I espoused you to one husband, that I might present you a pure virgin to the Christ. I went on to read down through: (14) And no marvel; for the very satan fasioneth himself into an angel of light. (There are many who claim to be the Man-child, woman, or Bride of our day and they are deceived by Satan.) (Php.3:18) For many walk, of whom I told you often and now tell you even weeping, they are the enemies of the cross of the Christ: (19) whose end is destruction: whose god is the belly (this was represented by the very fat, false bridegroom in the man-child) and their glory is their shame, who mind the earthly things. (20) For our citizenship is in the heavens whence also we wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Represented by the true corporate body of the Bride and Man-child, along with the wise virgins who are filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit and whose job it is to escort the Bride and groom to the groom's home in heaven.) (21) who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, conformed to the body of His glory according to the working whereby He is able even to subject all to Himself.

Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Our shout-out today goes to Nick Zumwalt from Ammon, ID. Thanks for your partnership in Project23. We cannot do this without donors like you. Our text today is 1 Corinthians 12:14-20. For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," that would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body. — 1 Corinthians 12:14-20 Have you ever wondered if you really matter in the church? Paul now addresses a different danger—not pride, but insecurity. Just as in churches today, some believers in Corinth envied the more visible gifts. If they did not have them, they quietly assumed they did not matter or even belong. Paul exposes that thinking for what it is. A foot does not stop being part of the body because it is not a hand. An ear does not lose its place because it is not an eye. Comparison does not cancel calling. Belonging is not self-determined—it is God-bestowed. "But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose." Notice this carefully: God arranged you for the body and within the body. Your placement is not an accident. It is not based on personal preference or fluctuating feelings. It is a settled reality determined by God himself. His arrangement implies intention. His placement implies purpose. The same sovereign God who apportions gifts (1 Corinthians 12:11) also positions people. Your place in the body is providential. This confronts the quiet withdrawal many believers practice today. When comparison convinces you that you are less important, you drift. You attend but do not engage. You observe but do not offer. But that logic has no place here. Your absence affects the whole. So step forward. Lean in. Speak to a pastor. Join the table. Serve beyond your comfort zone. Pray and look expectantly for how God is already at work through you for the good of his body. DO THIS: Identify one way you have minimized your place in the body. Then lean in this week—serve where God has placed you, not where you wish you were. ASK THIS: Have I allowed comparison to distort my sense of belonging? Where am I drifting instead of engaging? Do I truly trust that God arranged my place in the body as he chose? PRAY THIS: Father, thank you for arranging the members of your body according to your wisdom. Forgive me for doubting my place. Teach me to embrace where you have positioned me and serve faithfully for the glory of Christ. Amen. PLAY THIS: "Build Your Kingdom Here"

This episode anchors faith and hope firmly in revelation and correct action, teaching that faith is not a measurement of belief in God but action upon receiving revelation, and that hope is the alignment and submission of our will with God's will through belief and trust in Him. Phil explains that a man or woman with hope orients life, goals, desires, and the use of time toward Jesus Christ, His invitations, and His promises, and that the strength of faith is measured by what it accomplishes.Phil teaches that exceedingly strong faith is correct action that allows a man or woman to access the power of God to accomplish God's purposes, and that the exercise of faith or receiving and acting correctly on personal revelation, builds the faithful into wise wheat unto salvation while separating foolish tares for destruction (Ether 12:15,19; Alma 26:22). He outlines that belief in Jesus Christ is more than profession; it is entering into the new and everlasting covenant, offering the sacrifice of a broken heart and contrite spirit, receiving baptism of water, and having one's case plead by Christ before the Father to receive the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost (Alma 26:21–22).Using the ministry of Ammon and the sons of Mosiah, Phil walks us through the sacrifices, hardships, and mighty faith required before miracles come, from imprisonment and rejection to deliverance and conversion among the Lamanites (Alma 17–26). He explains how faith-filled action softened the hearts of kings, liberated prisoners, and led entire peoples to covenant with God, bury their weapons, and resist sin even unto death after receiving a remission of sins (Alma 23–24).This episode closes with the reminder that only by repenting, believing on the name of Christ, and exercising exceedingly great faith will we be able to thrust in our sickle while the summer is still here and bring souls unto Him.Come and learn the Doctrine of Christ.  TheRedemptionOfZion.org

She shares memories of growing up in a large family, performing with her sisters, and the special influence of her parents and grandparents. We also talk about how she met Uncle Don, the life they built together, and what it was like raising fifteen children in a home centered on faith, music, service, and strong family values. Ammon adds his own perspective on what it felt like growing up in that home and the lasting influence both of his parents had on their children.Throughout the conversation, Aunt Karen reflects on motherhood, discipleship, and the things that matter most in family life. She shares the message she most wants to leave with her posterity: to trust in the Lord, stay close to Him, and remember that His love can guide and sustain us through every season of life.

AMOS WASN'T a trained prophet, yet his words resonate today, highlighting the injustices and moral decay of society. It's a stark reminder that the rich must not oppress the poor, a message as relevant now as it was then.   This week, we begin to explore the Book of Amo, focusing on its key messages and relevance today. Amos addressed social injustice and religious corruption in ancient Israel. Amos, a shepherd from Tekoa, delivered his messages during a time of relative peace and prosperity in Israel, specifically around the 8th century BC. However, this prosperity came at a cost, as the rich oppressed the poor, and religious practices deviated from true worship.  The Book of Amos begins with God's proclamation of judgment on the neighbors of Israel and Judah: Aram, Ammon, Moab, Edom, Tyre, and Gaza (the Philistines). But His harshest words were reserved for Judah and especially the northern kingdom of Israel. Welcome to Day 2785 of Wisdom-Trek. Thank you for joining me. This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to Wisdom. Day 2785 – Wisdom Nuggets – Psalm 108:6-9 – Daily Wisdom Wisdom-Trek Podcast Script - Day 2785 Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps! I am Guthrie Chamberlain, and we are on Day two thousand seven hundred eighty-five of our Trek. The Purpose of Wisdom-Trek is to create a legacy of wisdom, to seek out discernment and insights, and to boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. The Title for Today's Wisdom-Trek is: The Divine Cartography – God Claims His Geography. Today, we are back on the trail, continuing our exploration of the "Warrior Poet's Remix," Psalm One Hundred Eight. We are trekking through the middle section, verses six through nine, in the New Living Translation. In our previous trek through the first five verses of this psalm, we heard the sound of a "fixed heart." We watched King David wake the dawn with his lyre and declare that God's love is higher than the heavens. We saw him take an old song of lament (from Psalm Fifty-seven) and remix it into a new anthem of confidence. He ended that section with a cosmic prayer: "Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth." Today, the scene shifts from the cosmic to the concrete. David moves from singing about the stars to looking at a map. He moves from the "heavens" to the dirt and rock of the Middle East. In verses six through nine, we hear God Himself speak. It is a divine oracle spoken from the Holy Sanctuary. In this oracle, Yahweh acts like a victorious General standing over a map of the ancient Near East. He points to specific territories—Shechem, Succoth, Gilead, Moab, Edom, Philistia—and claims them as His own. He essentially says, "This belongs to Me. And this belongs to Me. And that over there? That is just My washbasin." This is a powerful assertion of Divine Ownership. In the Ancient Israelite worldview, where nations were believed to be owned by their respective gods (Chemosh for Moab, Milcom for Ammon), Yahweh is declaring that He is the Landlord of everything. He is redrawing the borders and reclaiming the inheritance for His people. So, let us stand in the war room and listen to the strategy of the King. The first segment is: The Prayer for Rescue: The Right Hand of Power. Psalm One Hundred Eight: verse six. Now rescue your beloved people. Answer and save us by your power. Before the oracle begins, David offers a short, sharp prayer. This acts as the bridge between the praise of the first five verses and the prophecy that follows. "Now rescue your beloved people. Answer and save us by your power." The literal Hebrew here is quite evocative: "That Your beloved ones may be delivered; Save with Your right hand, and answer me!" First, notice the identity of the people. David calls them "Your beloved people" (yedid-echa). This comes from the same root as the name Jedidiah (which was Solomon's name given by God, meaning "Beloved of Yahweh"). This is crucial for our confidence in prayer. David doesn't appeal to God based on Israel's military strength or their moral perfection. He appeals to God's affection. "Lord, these are the ones You love. Therefore, rescue them." Second, notice the method...

In this episode of Pretty Lies & Alibis, we break down Day 1 of the Kouri Richins evidentiary hearing and the key expert testimony battles unfolding ahead of her upcoming trial. The defense sought to block three of the state's expert witnesses, focusing heavily on the controversial “Pathway to Violence” model. Defense expert Dr. Fox testified that the model is not scientifically reliable, lacks peer-reviewed validation, has no known error rate, and cannot be used to predict individual acts of violence — arguing that its use amounts to profiling rather than science under Utah Rule of Evidence 702.The state countered with testimony from Dr. Ammon, who described the model as one of several tools used retrospectively in targeted violence prevention. The judge ultimately issued a partial ruling, limiting how the model may be used at trial. We also cover:The judge's decision allowing a handwriting expert to testify regarding alleged forgeryWhy testimony from Dr. Sherry Veneno was ruled not currently relevant — but could be revisitedWhy Day 2 of the hearing will not be livestreamed due to sealed evidenceDonate: (Thank you for your support!
