Hey everybody! Episode 16 of the show is out. In this show, I spoke with my friend Marta. Marta is a yoga instructor and plant medicine practitioner who I met at the Amazon healing center The Temple of the Way of Light, where she led workshops combining yoga and plant work. She draws on a lot of different traditions and modalities and bridges them together in a beautiful way. She is currently working on a book and offering one-on-one mentorship. I enjoyed this conversation and if you have any interest in yoga, plant medicine, and connecting the mind, body, and heart, I think you'll enjoy this conversation as I did. And starting next episode I will begin releasing extended interviews of most of the episodes exclusively on Patreon, so check out more on that below.“Marta Wanderlust is a space holder, spiritual mentor, a Yoga teacher and a Breathwork facilitator. Born in Poland with a history of having cities like London, Berlin or Rio de Janeiro as her home, Marta has spent the last six years living between India and Peru. She has studied across diverse traditions, devoted to understanding our human physicality and the pathways to Spirit. Her deep immersions into the realms of Advaita Vedanta, Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Plant Medicine, high-Andean and Amazonian shamanism have led her to understand that all paths are complementary, and ultimately lead to the very same realization of Unity, which she likes to refer to as 'remembering'. Marta is currently based in Europe, working on self-publishing her first book, sharing her practice with her online community, mentoring private clients, all while looking forward to the day when her greatest love, hosting of small transformative retreats internationally, will again be possible. “Marta's links:www.martawanderlust.comwww.instagram.com/martawanderlustyogawww.facebook.com/martawanderlustyogawww.insighttimer.com/martawanderlustyogaAnd to purchase Marta's newly released book, Miracles From The Abyss, visit: https://amzn.to/3sR2gvGShare the show, Subscribe or Follow, and if you can go on Apple Podcasts and leave a starred-rating and a short review. We often look for peace and happiness from external sources but that path leads to disappointment. In fact, that is often a path to further hurt and trauma. On this episode of The Divorce & Beyond Podcast, Susan Guthrie speaks with Kundalini Yoga Expert, Dya Kaur about the inward path to healing and your new future through yoga, meditation and yes, even a little bit of sex. Trauma informs our lives in so many ways and can stay in our soul for years after the incident or experience that hurt us. Divorce is often one of the most traumatic experiences that we can undergo and so many individuals have enormous difficulty in moving past that hurt. Leading Kundalini Yoga expert, Dya Kaur of Wanderlust Yoga in Los Angeles, joins Susan on this episode, which was taped in person in California, to share her wisdom and insights from years of teaching the technology of kundalini yoga, meditation, and spiritual life coaching to help people to move past their trauma to heal, live fully and embrace a new future. Some Highlights from this Episode: Learn how the technology of kundalini yoga and meditation give us access to our true nature. What is kundalini yoga? How is it different from other yoga forms? How does being more neutral empower us in a painful situation? How does elevating our own consciousness help elevate our circumstances? Why is the experience of a kundalini class more impactful than a more intellectual self help approach? Why is giving yourself authority so important to self transformation? Living life dragged down by the emotional storms of your past will only rob you of your future. It's time to deal with, and heal from, that old trauma and move forward into your healthy, happy and beautiful new life. Listen to this episode now! Note: This show was taped at the beginning of the year. The advent of COVID delayed it's release so I am excited to announce that Dya's podcast, Sexual Alchemy with Dya Kaur, is now available! We apologize that the dates referenced in the episode have now passed. Libby ( Dya Kaur) Hudson Lydecker was given her spiritual name by the master of kundalini yoga, Yogi Bhajan in 1998 meaning “Princess of wisdom, compassion and strength.” Dya Kaur has been teaching kundalini yoga to adults and children for over 13 years. Her passion is empowering people to live their happiest and most enlightened lives through the technology of kundalini yoga and meditation. She is a Spiritual Life coach and runs transformational yoga retreats in inspiring locations. She is honored to be one of the leaders of Guru Singh’s Teacher Training which is the largest kundalini teacher training in the world. She teaches group classes at Yoga West in LOS ANGELES and Wanderlust in Hollywood and is available for private kundalini or coaching sessions in person or remotely by appointment. “I don’t believe in miracles, I rely on them.“ Yogi Bhajan. Today we get to hear from the goddess of Yoga Nidra, Tracee Stanley. We get to hear about what it means to intentionally turn inwards during a time when we are all stuck inside. Not only is Tracee a faculty member at the Esalen Institute, contributor to WOKE Magazine, and co-founder of Empowered Wisdom Yoga Nidra Training School, but she is also the founder and director of Sankalpa Shakti Yoga School. Since 2004 the focus of Tracee’s teaching has been yoga nidra, meditation, self-empowerment, sankalpa (intention) and self-inquiry. Together we reminisce on our inspiring time together at the Wanderlust Yoga festival and demystify the practice of Yoga Nidra. Tracee helps listeners understand Yoga Nidra as a practice that helps you wake up to your life rather than just a technique to fall asleep and relax. Tracee is so generous and is offering all of us a FREE Yoga Nidra - link below.
