Are we lazy? Well, it's your life, make the most of it. I still believe even if there is a bad religion present in all that we see. You may be gone with my wind... because we hate it when our friends become successful. Ultimately, the answer is still no.
Let's call for the separation of church and skate because we are lifers. I'll be a Saturday boy and try to resist the Evil Empowered. Is it the Fall of Majesty Town or Proselytism Real. We might be dead by tomorrow so don't count on me.
Some times this world make you wanna be an alcoholic, especially when all the talk is about an Oligarchy. We are sleepless through these Graveyard nights, through these Stars and Stripes of corruption we see your apparition.
It's Happy Hour... but there is a burst command until war and I think that we all need a paid vacation to find out who we are. Let me know when you give up trying to find my favourite enemy.
Welcome back to the podcast as we ask ourselves: what are we standing for? It's that X-Ray style that we need as we discover that we are not in love any more. Instead, we are alone and distanced.
A stroll through the woods listening to one summer last fall causes us to wonder who we've become. What is this Toxic Trace in the air? Let's think about Vincent instead and realize that Oka is everywhere. I guess we have no friends anymore.
From the profane rights of man to a watchmaker's dial, we love the literary and musical... but all passion is spent and we're not in love any more. Get the time... make the time... reclaim your time. What is your soulmate? Do we have Ninja Turtles to save us or are we all just stuck under your spell? I wish you well, see you soon.
Everything must cease... even our democracy and sense of security. It can leave us feeling somewhat disconnected, especially when Los Angeles is burning. I usually prefer the company of animals to that of human beings, but sometimes we're in love, too. Living amongst a moral majority, we play our violins of sorry... nobody listens, but we have our fantasy baseball at the end of the world.
Rules do not apply when your leader is a criminal... a lot of people won't get supper or justice tonight. Which side are you on? Does it ache to know what you have done? Do you want to kill the poor or feed and help them? Frankly Mr Shankly, I am a sickening wreck, but I know that many will not miss Biden until he is gone. They sing Glory Glory and we head to the bar singing Louie Louie.
You may be down on your luck, but hang in there, cling to your tangled mortal coil. Don't let anyone extinguish your stoke. Maybe we just need a trip to Spain or hope to manifest our destiny. Besides, we've got a bigger problem now. Punk rock has always saved my life, I hope it can continue to do so.
To all my friends, here's a 101 on depression and fear and anxiety. Let's turn to the luna landing for inspiration. So, I ask the question, 'should I stay or should I go?' In the end, I'd like to see no more sorrow. Instead of making friends, it feels like I'm losing everyone. No matter what happens, don't lose your head.
Cling to the things that make life worth living. Support art before it is abolished.
We all want to leave something behind when we depart this planet, work hard and stay strong, fight the good fight, but sometimes we shouldn't be afraid to run. I don't need society if it is full of chickenshit conformists, I don't need a suburban home... and, make no mistake, these are the new dark ages.
To all my friends... here is a 101 in depression. Speaking of lunatics and luna landings, or is it just Luna? The question is... Should I stay or should I go? Ultimately, a little more humility would free us of a lot of sorrow. We are not invincible. No one wants to find themselves losing everyone. But, no matter what, don't lose your head.
Are you a billionaire or are you engaged in the thirsty work of dying? Let's sip a Fireball and look to the satellites for a total hag.
These are days of new as we venture out into this town tonight to mingle with the fast ones. Hoping to avoid indictment and fair leathered friends, we realise that it ain't over yet. It is as if we have crawled out of the darkness to bathe in the light.
My poor friend me is now a new American and no longer an alien. So let's all Catch 23 or there will be sweet revenge. In the end, there is always a little light as we visit a basement in Raymond.
There seems to be a persistence of wrongful suspicion, and more of us will be hiring a stunt double to stay safe. However, most of the time, you're wrong. We often feel unlovable, but, in most cases, we are loved by someone, somewhere. Some leave with a sound as light as the very first snow, but there will always be a way. So, why the big pause? It's time to head off to live in pacific standard time for a few days.
The past is dead... it is time to focus on tomorrow instead. Therefore, don't become disconnected or sleepwalk through today, it's time to ride 'shotgun' into the future. Who is the Chesterfield King? Is it merely a case of the blind bleeding the blind? Have a great weekend, don't end up alone & distanced... unless you want to be. And stay safe.
Just as we begin to select all and delete, we come to learn that beautiful people are ugly, too. Despair and alcohol, we ask so many questions as we head north for the winter. Am I yours to destroy, I need to know, or am I merely here to throwaway?
Is there one man who holds the world hostage? or is it a human Fly? It's possible that you may need some 'Wodka' to research this topic... or simply Alien 8 yourself and try to understand the adventures in zoochosis. You can always dance around the whisky or mosh with Sargent D. In the end, it is clear, that the joke isn't funny any more.
Are you ready for some Vampire Lessons? We'll start off with some wise words from poor old grandad, ooh la la, before discussing our favourite enemy. Sip some red wine and get ready to learn about a life sentence along side those who try to rule with an iron fist. Think about who we are and check it out.
What the world needs is more sex, drugs, and rock n roll. Take it easy. Forget your token emotions and let people live.
This week we see you on the outside... looking in. We talk about Sleeping in, farewells, Hell, and Atomic Gardens.
Johnny is a theme... on this fine and calm Saturday afternoon as we drift through some mellow rock and pop tunes.
A celebration of my own band, The Handicaps, and some of the music that we made over the years. Also a shout out to Maurix, my friend in Madrid, who designed the logo for this podcast as well as the logos for the band and most of the album work and posters. I also share some Lagwagon songs for the celebration of May 16th, and also as part of my homage to Maurix with whom I once sang Burning Out in Style as he played it on ukulele. Las Vegas. Cokie the Clown. Punk Rock Bowling OD. GBH leave no survivors and then we delve into some softer songs of soul.Podcast from a couple of weeks ago, which was deleted. And, what can I say... it's great. Get in touch at everypageisblank@outlook.com
A dash back into the past... a wholesale deletion of the Podcast has occurred, and so I would like to reintroduce and begin to reinvent the show. Discover where the name comes from, and my all time favourite album.Feel free to reach out on: everypageisblank@outlook.com
Let's talk about Joe Strummer and The Clash... and some other things, too.
Back from sickness and European travel... this is a dive into nihilism.
Mostly an obsession over my trip to the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas yesterday...
Unfortunately, we suffer another loss. And so we'll dwell in a little rain and even talk about some vampires. A little bit country it is here in Dallas, but it is increasingly progressive and so we thank those who gave us protection and reflect upon the continuance of life... and thank our bartenders. Some say I have big mouth... but you can fill it with some Gorilla Biscuits.
We start with Morrissey in defiance, move on to France and Belgium with Joey Cape and making friends. We discuss the loss of self deprecation and admire 'yoleenadadong'. Sean Rowe brings us back to earth with his legendary voice. Then we explore a bad religion and try to understand those who sit in their cars with the engine running. Then we go off the rails, to planet mother f*cker.
We walk through the fire, tempting fate, dicing with a dangerous death.
A tragic loss and a somber episode. I am sorry.
Two themes intersect: that of piano in punk rock and that of the artist covering their own work.
A look at religion through music and a study in evolutionary biology. Seeking a belief in one's self and striving to improve every single day. A rock classic. Some somber songs for a sunset singalong.
The gloves are off... it is time for a serious discussion about RTO (Return to Office). The episode begins self-indulgently with several songs by my own band, The Handicaps, then a brief stop over with Jawbreaker, before moving on to some Tears for Fears, and then several Dead Kennedys songs to accompany the RTO rage.
