RPG title screens bear a heavy burden. They're one of the first things we see in a game, making them one of the best places to leave a strong first impression. And often, a key component of that is the music. Several years ago, we highlighted eight standout title screen tracks in episode 71, and today, with a new panel, we're highlighting eight more! Come in and enjoy the music of several games you may know and some you likely don't. Dearly Beloved, TW One of the HARDEST parts of the work I do is coming face to face with parents AND our roles as “guardians of our children.” In yesterday's episode of the #Moms4TransKids podcast, our guest was open. She was raw. She was honest. She was accepting. She admitted her mistakes as a former right wing, Christian conservative parent who fought. She fought the truth about her trans masc son's true gender identity. She used Biblical principles to support her original thoughts. Unfortunately, her child's mental health took a near fatal hit…several times before she finally came around. Dearly Beloved, our kids love us. Our trans kids love us. They will do anything to get our love, affirmation and validation. They'll do anything for our support. They'll do anything for us to see them…as they are. Including hurting themselves just for us to see them. Studies by The Trevor Project show that gender diverse youth have higher rates of depression, anxiety, suicidal behavior and suicide. They also show that these rates DRASTICALLY decrease with parental and family support and affirmation. In this episode, we talk about parental unlearning, learning, and “our roles” in our Q+ kids' suicidal behaviors. Yes, it happens. See link below to listen. Remember to hit the follow button, leave us a review and be sure to share your thoughts with us. I really want to open up conversations. The tough ones like this. If you or anyone you know would like to chat more about this. Please DM me. Let's do this. Dr. Lulu #suicidalideations #mamabears #parentingtips #suicideprevention #transgenderawareness Key Takeaways: Gender reveal parties celebrate the baby but reinforce the binary concept of gender. Assigning gender at birth can be limiting and may not align with a child's true gender identity. Parents should embrace their child's gender exploration and allow them to express their authentic selves. Name changes are a crucial part of a transgender person's journey and should be respected and supported by parents. Parents should relinquish control and empower their child to define their own gender identity. In a pew in Edwin Lutyens' ecclesiastical masterpiece, St Jude on the Hill in North London, Will Self ponders the contemporary power of the sermon.'Dearly Beloved,' he begins, as he explains the appeal of a good sermon! And he reminds us that 'the sermon was instituted, in part, to correct the fake news of an age before the media that now disseminate it.'Producer: Adele Armstrong Sound: Peter Bosher Production coordinator: Gemma Ashman Editor: Richard Fenton-Smith

Vincent Curatola of The Sopranos Live on Game Changers With Vicki Abelson I'm not sure how it's possible to meet a person once on Zoom and feel like they're a treasured friend that I've known forever, but that's exactly how it is with Vincent Curatola, aka Johnny Sack of The Sopranos, whom before meeting I feared would whack. Me. On this our second sitdown we talked how a businessman who'd nary graced a stage in a few short years under the tutelage of acting coach Michael Moriarty, took on Law & Order, then wrote and starred in his own short film, Dearly Beloved, co-starring Tony Sirrico, and then was soon his Sopranos co-star. Vincent shared the story of that relationship, his casting, and how the work played out. We talked about the Mafia as if there is such a thing, David Chase, James Gandolfini, Ginny Sack, and Sydney Pollack. We talked about acting, how I've never caught him doing it, how he was trained, and how he trains, the upcoming reinvention of his short film Dearly Beloved, and his mother, father, grandmother, and Maureen, his dearly beloveds. Vincent's a warm, thoughtful, whipsmart, entertaining fellow, a great storyteller, whose company I can't get enough of. Hoping to Zoom into one of his acting workshops one day soon, rehone that skill, and just maybe he'll write in a fake aging blonde in that upcoming remake. One thing I know for certain, I'm anxiously awaiting his next screen role and our next interaction on Instagram. Love the man!
