Pastor Jeremy | BFBC-Glendive | Sunday Rom 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. ● The world needs to be taught to receive Jesus ● The church needs to be taught to receive the Holy Spirit Acts 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. 1Cor 2:4-5 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. We will not be frozen out by formality, we will not be scared out by fanaticism. Psalm 100:1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! 2 Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. ● I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle Psalm 27 ● Sacrifice is an act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy. CS Lewis said “Joy is the serious business of heaven” Joy is a demonstration of: ● The triumph of Christ ● Satan is defeated ● Your Father is greater than all Acts 26:2 “I think myself happy” ● He could have said: ○ “I am a lonely man” ○ “I am a broken man” ○ “I am a tired man” ● I'm standing in the place that Jesus said I would be 20 years ago, witnessing to the most important people in the Roman Empire that Jesus is Lord!! Man couldn't stop me, the devil couldn't stop me, shipwrecks can't stop me. You're better looking when you're happy...some of you should consider that. Really smart people at ORU did a study and found that chemicals and endorphins are released when you laugh...voluntarily or involuntarily. 192 times NKJV we see the word joy 127OT 65NT Joy is accompanied with: ● Singing - a bunch ● Shouting - a bunch ● Dancing - 1 Chron 15 ● Giving - 1 Chron 29 ● Celebrating - Ezra 6 ● Noise - Their joy could be heard afar off Neh 12 ● “See his face of joy” Job 33 ● Laughter - Psalm 126 ● Leaping - Luke 1 ● Rejoicing - a bunch Your demonstration can be out of: ● Appreciation ○ Psalm 150:2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! ● Expectation ○ Josh 6:16 And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: “Shout, for the LORD has given you the city! ● Desperation ○ 2 Chron 20

Pastor Jeremy | BFBC-Glendive | Sunday 2 Kings 4:1-7 Widow woman seeking the man of God to help her in an unprecedented time in her life. 1. She sought God, James 1:5 front half says if you lack wisdom ask 2. She heard from God, James 1:5 second half says it will be given to you. 3. She was a doer of the word that was spoken to her. James 1:25 says if you're a doer of the word you'll be blessed in what you do. 4. Overnight she became head product research and development, project manager, operations specialist, head of the marketing and sales departments, packaging, warehouse manager, she's in charge of distribution and delivery, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. 5. She was not slack in this assignment 6. It doesn't say she was experienced at all in any of these areas. 7. Because she was diligent to seek the Lord, hear from the Lord, and be a doer of the Word, she added a new title to her list of positions...Private Wealth Manager 2 Timothy 1:5 When I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. 1. Paul knew Timothy's mom and grandma. 2. Paul had seen or had experienced Timothy's mother and grandmother and how they believed the Word of God. 3. Paul saw that same belief, that same "acting like the Bible is true" spirit of faith in Timothy. 4. Apparently Lois and Eunice did not have the "do as I say, not as I do" theology in raising their kids. 2 Timothy 3:14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Pastor Jeremy | BFBC-Glendive | Sunday Matt 6:10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Matt 6:10 (TPT) Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is in heaven. ● This is a powerful 3 word invitation. ● When you pray “You Kingdom Come” you are asking almighty God to invade your world and transform it. ● You are stating that you are not satisfied with the ways things are and you know that the Kingdom of God will be an upgrade in your neck of the woods. ● This is no small request. We are stating that what we are about to pray will require Almighty God to accomplish. The Kingdom of God was a central focus of Jesus' ministry here on the earth. 1. Matt 4:17 - The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand 2. Matt 4:23 - Jesus went about preaching the good news of the Kingdom of God. 3. Luke 4:43 - I was sent to preach the good news of the Kingdom of God 4. John 18 Jesus said “My Kingdom is not of this world...it is from a different place” a. Jesus is saying that The Kingdom of God functions differently, has different commitments, different guidelines, we make decisions based on a different set of circumstances, we look at life differently, and ultimately we end up in a different place. Kingdom - A kingdom is a territory or domain governed by a king (or queen). He has absolute authority and influence over a people and has a responsibility to his subjects for their wellbeing. His dominion and authority are absolute. 1. King/Lord a. The kingdom is a direct representation of its king. b. Authority flows from the king and the word of the king is supreme. 2. Territory a. Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof 3. Covenant/Constitution/Law a. Psalm 119 is all about the value of the Word of God. b. Heb 4:12 the Word of God is living and powerful...sharper than any two edged sword... 4. Citizenry - People who live under the rule of the King - The Church a. Matt 16:18 I will build My Church... b. Acts 2: 46 the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved c. Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 5. Economy a. Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. b. 1 Tim 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. 18 Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, 19 storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. c. Mal 3:8-12 Tithes & offerings 6. Culture a. Mark 10:45 The Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life a ransom for many. b. Luke 12:31 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. c. Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. d. Mark 11:25 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” e. Loving your neighbor f. Praying for your enemies g. Generocity h. Walk by faith and not by sight i. Doers of the Word and not hearers only j. We cast out demons, we speak with new tongues, if any deadly thing comes in contact with our body it will not harm us, and when we lay hands on the sick they recover. When we pray “Your Kingdom Come” we are making a declaration that the way the Kingdom of God operates is the way you would like your life to operate.

Pastor Jeremy | BFBC-Glendive | Sunday Keys are designed to grant you access to something or someplace valuable. ● Keys are not utilized to withhold something from you...they are designed to hold something for you. If you have a key, you can access the thing or place that holds value. Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 10:45 Those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Speaking in tongues will edify, build up, and strengthen our spirit. ● Jude 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit ● 1 Cor 14:4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. ● There is something you can do to edifies, builds up, and strengthen your: spirit, soul, & body Speaking in tongues will amplify our effectiveness in prayer. ● 1 Cor 14:2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. ● Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. ● When you run out of words to pray...pray in tongues ● When you don't know how to pray...pray in tongues ● When you aren't 100% of what the will of the Lord is concerning what you are praying about/for... pray in tongues.
