Bu ay Mü'minin rızkının arttırıldığı aydır. Kim bu ayda bir oruçluyu iftâr ettirirse bu onun bütün günâhlarının bağışlanmasına ve cehennem ateşinden kurtulmasına sebeb olur. Oruç tutma kastı veya misafirden utanma meselesi yoksa fazla yemek, bedene zarar veren toprak, çamur ve benzeri şeyleri yemek ve içmek de mide âfetlerindendir. İçinde necis bulunan yılan eti ve kunduz gibi hayvanları tedavi için yeme hususunda görüş farkları olmuştur: Hastalık için bunlardan başka tedavi çaresi olmadığında caizdir, diyenlere karşılık, tedavi bunlara inhisar etmese bile şifâ oldukları biliniyorsa yenmeleri caizdir, diyenler de olmuştur. Fakat ihtiyata daha uygun olanı, bu gibi necis şeylerden mutlaka sakınmaktır. Sokaklarda halka karşı bir şeyler yemek, yolda yürürken bir şeyler çiğnemek, kabristanda yemek yemek, kahkahayla gülmek ve cenaze vuku bulan evde cenaze dolayısıyla hazırlanmış yemekten yemek mekruhtur. Sofrada kendi önüne gelen kısımdan değil de kabın ortasından veya başkasının önüne gelen kısımdan yemek mekruhtur. Ancak bir kaç çeşit yemek bulunursa o takdirde sofra ortasına el uzatılır. Ağızda arta kalan yemek kalıntılarını ve bir de sümük, tükrük ve balgamı kıble cihetine ve câmilerin içine atmak da mekruhtur. Bardağın kırık tarafından su içmek ve su içerken bardağa solumak da böyledir. Aşırı sıcak yemek yemek ve koklamak da mekruhtur. Fâsıkların, riyakârların ve emirlerin yemeğini yemek, zorla alındığı ve içinde hoş karşılanmayan bir şey olduğu bilinmiyorsa, haram değildir, belki müstehabdır. Eidsmoe's work is a testament to his commitment to constitutional law and his belief in the moral foundations of society. John A. Eidsmoe is an American attorney and professor of law emeritus. He has previously taught at the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, the O. W. Coburn School of Law at Oral Roberts University (ORU), and at Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy.  He was in the US Air Force as a lieutenant colonel and is an Alabama State Defense Force colonel, headquarters judge advocate, deputy chaplain and training officer. He earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa, M.A. from Dallas Theological Seminary, M. Div. from Lutheran Brethren Seminary and D. Receb ayın-da bir gün Oruç tutana Allâhü Te'âlâ kıyâmet günü o nehirden su verir.'' buyuruldu. (Asbahânî, et-Terğib (1847), İbn Hacer Askalanî, Tebymu'l Aceb Bima Verade Fi Şehri Recep, s.33)Mâzenî, Hüseyin bin Alî (r.a.)'dan bildirir: “Re-ceb ayında oruç tutunuz. Zîrâ Receb Allâhü Te'âlâ'dan tevbedir.” Selmân-ı Fârisî (r.a.)'ın bil-dirdiği Hadîs-i Şerîf'te: “Bir kimse Receb ayında bir gün Oruç tutsa, o kimse sanki bin yıl Oruç tutmuş, bin köle âzâd etmiş gibi sevâba kavu-şur. Ve bir kimse Receb-i Şerîf'te az bir şey sa-daka verse, bin altın sadaka vermiş gibi sevâb alır. Bedenindeki her kılı için bin sevâb yazılır. Derecesi bin kat yükselir. Bin günâhı yok olur. Her günkü orucu ve verdiği her sadakası için bin hac ve bin umre sevâbı yazılır. Cennette ona bin ev, bin köşk ve bin hücre yapılır. Her hücre-de bin bölüm ve her bölümde çok güzel hûrîler bulunur.”İhlâs Sûresi'ni günde 11 def'a okumak Tevhîd (la ilâhe illallâh), istiğfâr ve salevât-ı şerîfeyi ihmâl etmemek lâzımdır. Abdullâh b. Zübeyr (r.a.)'dan rivâyet edilen bir Hadîs-i Şerîf'te: “Bir kimse, Re-ceb ayında (şehrü'l-esem olan) bir Mü'mini bir sıkıntıdan kurtarsa, Allâhü Te'âlâ o kimseye Firdevs'te gözünün görebileceği yükseklikte bir saray verir. Receb'e ikrâm ve hürmet ediniz. Zîrâ Allâhü Te'âlâ da size bin çeşit kerâmetle ik-râm, ihsân eder.” buyrulmaktadır. Bir ihtiyâr, Nebî (s.a.v.)'in Receb Ayı'nın fazîleti hakkındaki beyânla-rından sonra: “Yâ Resûlallâh (s.a.v.)! Ben ihtiyârım, Receb ayının hepsini tutamam.” dediğinde: “Sen Receb'in evvel günü, ortası ve âhir günü oruçlu ol, cümlesini oruç tutmuş gibi olursun.” buyur-muşlardır.Receb Ayı'nda iki fazîletli gece vardır. When Kay Redden moved to Seattle from Garland, Texas, she made it her mission to connect with her newly adopted home through music. So, in searching for meaning after mother’s death in April 2015, she launched Den Tapes, spending countless hours hand-dubbing cassettes. It wasn’t long before local bands gravitated toward her down-to-earth, community-oriented approach to music distribution. This year, she’s marking the label’s tenth birthday with a compilation titled What Else is Sacred? A Compilation of Grief, as well as a curated two-day lineup at Den Fest on August 8 and 9 at Sunset Tavern. KEXP’s Dusty Henry spoke with Redden to explore the label’s ten-year history through five standout albums. “I am anti Seattle Freeze,” Redden says in the interview. “I don't believe in it. There are too many transplants here now for it to be real. #215: Paul Mills is the head men's basketball coach at Wichita State University. Prior to his tenure at Wichita State, Mills served as the head coach at Oral Roberts University from 2017 to 2023. Under his leadership, the Golden Eagles achieved significant success, including a historic Sweet 16 appearance in the 2021 NCAA Tournament as a 15-seed, making them just the second team in history to reach that stage from such a low seed. In the 2022–23 season, Mills guided ORU to a 30–5 record, an undefeated 18–0 run through the Summit League, and a No. 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament. His coaching prowess earned him recognition as a finalist for the Jim Phelan National Coach of the Year award and the NABC's Skip Prosser Man of the Year honor. Before his time at Oral Roberts, Mills spent 14 years at Baylor University, initially as a coordinator of operations from 2003 to 2009 and then as an assistant coach from 2009 to 2017. During his tenure, Baylor made seven NCAA Tournament appearances, including two Elite Eight and four Sweet 16 berths. Mills began his coaching career at the high school level, leading his teams to multiple district championships. He also served as the director of basketball operations at Rice University for one year.
