Chilling Truth: A True Crime Podcast

I really hate to do this but we are going to have to go on a hiatus for a little while. I thought this would be the best way to reach everyone rather than social media. I won't repeat myself here, I explain everything in the episode.

We are redoing an old episode this week, we did Pedro Lopez a while back with a different host, Brittany, and so we wanted to redo this one for you guys so everyone is on the same page. Plus you get a new set of jokes and new insight on this fucked up case.

We are so sorry we have been absent for 2 weeks, I explain what happened in the episode. But besides that, we are back with the fan-favorite: Creepy Reddit! I also chose some different background music for the stories this time as well. We have a couple of predator stories, people, not the movie, and a couple of just down right creepy ass stories. Hey guys, this week we are talking to you about the siege at Waco involving the Branch Davidians, FBI and ATF. The Brand Davidians were a religious group suspected of stockpiling illegal firearms and came under the radar of the ATF. Leader David Koresh was engaging in polygamy and sex with underage girls within the confines of his commune, but the guns they had were legally obtained. Don't get us wrong, David Koresh sucks ass, but he didn't have illegal guns. A botched raid by the ATF and FBI led to many of the Brand Davidians and ATF agents to lose their lives, including 21 children who burned to death when the government "accidentally" set the building on fire with everyone inside. I mention it in the episode but I'll say it here too, Johnny is no longer hosting the show. We do have a new host, Chris. He's been a friend of mine for years and a long time listener of the show. This is his first ever recording, so cut him some slack you monsters. He was also called The Score Card Killer because of the coded messages found in his car upon his capture. Heirens was convicted of 3 murders committed back in 1946, but evidence and his own testimony later on seemed to have cleared him. We covered Westley Allan Dodd a while back. Dodd was a child murderer in the Vancouver, Washington area who claimed 3 young boy’s lives. By a random turn of events, his daughter found our show and reached out to me on Instagram. So we set up an interview to get the inside story on the Dodd case. We did do this interview over the phone, so Jensen’s audio is a little off. This week, Johnny and I are late, clearly. But we covered the strange (and at the time of our research, unsolved) murders in Bardstown Kentucky. A police officer, a mother and her 16-year-old daughter were killed, along with the strange disappearance of Crystal Rogers along with some other strange murders.
