This week on Headline Highlights, federal agents raided the controversial 7M TikTok cult, targeting a pastor and a talent agency at the center of the investigation. A woman was charged with murder after her missing husband's body was found in a carport. In Encino, California, an American Idol executive and her husband were found murdered in their home, sending shockwaves through the entertainment world. In Bibb County, Alabama, authorities uncovered a disturbing child sex abuse ring operating out of an underground bunker. A father was charged with the murder of his 9-year-old daughter, just hours after issuing a misleading Amber Alert. And in a heartbreaking tragedy at Devil's Den State Park, two young girls witnessed their parents' brutal murder while on a family hike.

One of the most famous alleged alien abductions occurred on November 5, 1975, in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona. Travis Walton, a logger and member of a seven-man crew, disappeared after all members of the crew witnessed a bright, saucer-shaped object hovering over their location. Walton claimed that as he approached the object, a beam of light suddenly appeared and knocked him unconscious.  The case was extensively investigated, and the other crew members, who were initially suspected of foul play, were polygraphed and found to be truthful about their sighting of the UFO and Walton's disappearance.

UFO abduction accounts of grey aliens taking people from their homes and examining them in their spaceships started becoming typical after the publication in 1981 of Budd Hopkins's book Missing Time. However, there is an early account with these elements in the 1977 book Abducted!: Confrontations With Beings From Outer Space by the founders of the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization, Coral and Jim Lorenzen. The case was investigated by APRO Field Investigator Kevin Randle and APRO Consultant and Director of Research Dr. James Harder.
