On July 27, 1981, six-year-old Adam Walsh vanished from a Sears department store at the Hollywood Mall in Hollywood, Florida. Two weeks later, fishermen discovered his severed head in a drainage canal near Vero Beach. His body was never found. This case would transform America's approach to missing children forever, but the question of who actually killed Adam Walsh remains deeply contested to this day. In this episode of The Redacted Report, we go beyond the official narrative to explore the details that rarely make it into documentaries and news specials. We examine the seventeen-year-old security guard whose fateful decision to remove rowdy kids from the store left Adam alone and vulnerable in an unfamiliar parking lot. We dig into the explosive allegations that emerged during the Sears lawsuit, including claims made under oath by Adam's godfather Jimmy Campbell about a four-year affair with Revé Walsh and the family's alleged drug use. We trace the bizarre confession carousel of convicted serial killer Ottis Toole, who admitted to the murder dozens of times only to recant repeatedly, and whose partner Henry Lee Lucas was proven to be in a Maryland jail cell on the day of the abduction. We also investigate the controversial Jeffrey Dahmer theory championed by journalist Arthur Jay Harris and witnesses Willis Morgan and Bill Bowen, who independently identified Dahmer as the suspicious man they saw at the Hollywood Mall that day. Dahmer was living in Miami Beach at the time, working at Sunshine Subs just twenty minutes from where Adam disappeared, and had access to a blue van matching witness descriptions. Former FBI agent Neil Purtell, who interviewed Dahmer in prison, believes the serial killer's cryptic statement that "anyone who killed Adam Walsh could not live in any prison, ever" was essentially a coded admission of guilt. We examine the catastrophic failures of the Hollywood Police Department, including the lost bloodstained carpet from Toole's Cadillac, the missing machete, and the destroyed vehicle that might have provided the DNA evidence needed for a conviction.We question the controversial Luminol photograph that retired detective Joe Matthews compared to the Shroud of Turin, which critics dismiss as forensic pareidolia. The Cedar Point UFO Abduction In this final episode of 2025, we explore two chilling listener-submitted stories that blur the line between the paranormal and extraterrestrial. Our first tale comes from Tiffany in Oklahoma, whose family experienced an unsettling encounter with a mimic entity in their crowded household. When Tiffany stepped outside with her dog one February evening, she clearly saw her 17-year-old niece Siddalee through the bedroom window—blonde hair, distinct outfit, sitting on her bed scrolling through her phone. The problem? Siddalee was actually at a game, cheerleading, and wouldn't arrive home for another hour, dressed in her cheer uniform. What makes this encounter particularly disturbing is that both Tiffany and her husband had heard what they believed was Siddalee laughing and talking in the house earlier that day, and this wasn't the first time the family had experienced doppelganger activity in their home—nine years prior, a mimic had even impersonated Tiffany's mother with disturbing precision. Our main story takes us to Cedar Point amusement park in October 2017, where Shannon and her family were enjoying Hallow Weekends. While waiting in line for the Millennium Force roller coaster around midnight, Shannon spotted something extraordinary above the ride—a massive black V-shaped craft the size of a football field, hovering 500-700 feet in the air with five recessed amber lights and complete silence. As the coaster began its ascent toward the 300-foot peak, bringing her closer to the craft, Shannon experienced what she can only describe as missing time—the next thing she remembers is "popping awake" in a dark room, standing upright against a table with long fingers touching her shoulder from behind, surrounded by smaller beings in white robes. Through telepathic communication, she was told she was loved and shown glimpses of something far beyond her understanding before suddenly finding herself back on the roller coaster near the end of the ride, having no memory of the famous 80-degree drop or the 93 mph speeds.

Listen to the full episode In 1994, Pulitzer Prize-winning Harvard psychiatry professor John E. Mack became one of the most pedigreed proponents of UFOs, alien abductions, and the alien-hybrid breeding scheme. He was introduced to celebrated painter, amateur hypnotherapist,  and UFO researcher Budd Hopkins by transpersonal psychologist Stan Grof. Hopkins had helped author Whitley Strieber recover the abduction “memories” that became the book (and then movie) Communion. Mack and Hopkins quickly produced their own movie, Intruders. Mack published Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens, going on the TV talk-show circuit with star patients that believed they were being experimented on while on alien spacecraft. Oprah slotted alien abductions right into her schedule, alongside Satanic ritual abuse, multiple personality disorder, and past-lives regressions.  In reasoning not unfamiliar to Conspirituality listeners, Hopkins claimed a government conspiracy was covering up the ET hybrid breeding scheme, while Mack explained the lack of physical evidence by claiming the abduction experience “challenged the Western paradigm of materialist science.” The X-Files TV show was inspired by their work, which also spawned today's generation of UFO grifters, alien channelers, and pastel-Q lightworkers.  For today's installment of his The Roots of Conspirituality series, Julian explores the characters, stories, psychology, and cultural significance of fantastical repressed memories retrieved under hypnosis—be they of horny demons, ritual Satanic abuse, or alien scientists who steal abductee's DNA in the night.
