VI skiers from Paralympics GB recently attended a kitting‑out day ahead of the Winter Paralympics, which will be held in Italy. One RNIB staff member is making his way to the Futsal World Championships in Turkey. Hywel Davies has been catching up with Neil Atkinson ahead of the prestigious tournament.

Following the World Para Athletics Championships which took place in New Delhi this year, British athlete Dan Pembroke retained his title by taking gold in the javelin throw for the third time in a row. Now, that he has time to catch his breath following an intense period of training and preparation, Dan is joining us to reflect on how it all went and to share some exciting personal news. If you are blind or partially sighted, and would like to see what sports you can play which have been created or adapted with sight loss in mind, the Lancashire Sight Loss Council is putting on an event to allow people to do just that.

The England Women's Blind Football team will be heading to the World Championships in India next month. Hywel Davies caught up with Head Coach Tony Larkin OBE, ahead of the tournament. ParalympicsGB recently announced the Chef de Mission for the upcoming 2028 Paralympics in Los Angeles.  Hywel Davies has been speaking with Penny Briscoe CBE about the importance of her role and the work that's already begun in the lead-up to the LA games. On the 14th June Scottish Disability Sport (SDS), supported by The Motability Scheme, are hosting a national exhibition for people with a disability to find out what sports and physical activities they can get involved in. There will be opportunities to meet new people, learn about schemes and organisations that can offer support, and educational opportunities for people without disabilities to learn about inclusive practise and ways to make society more accessible. It's taking place from 10 am to 4pm at the University of Stirling and Amelia spoke to Para swimmer and SDS Board Member, Laura Pilkington, and Visually impaired athlete and VI Ambassador, Samantha Gough, to learn more.
