Dating while healing is hard. It doesn't make much sense to do both but I needed a little fun, no strings attached, no falling in love. Well at least that's what I thought. I wasn't made to be for the streets. I was made for white picket fence, on the porch, with a glass of lemonade under the shade with my forever mate. I had to learn the hard way, I guess. This episode was recorded back in March but it's an update on my weight loss, loc journey, healing & dating. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Different stages in your life, introduce different people & sometimes that means the falling of others. Starting over means a new start to a new beginning with new opportunities…that is one way to look at Divorce. & even if you're not ready for a new spouse you can have reassurance that when you are, the world of dating will be waiting. Because “Divorce” doesn't mean the end for love…for you. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Dating is hard as is, so when we find ourselves putting limits on who & what we want our spouse to look like we tend to close the doors to new and maybe better opportunities to find “The One”. & as I listened to my guest speak about her experiences dating outside of her race I've found I've limited myself for a very long time because of the color of their skin. Is it wrong?? Has it hindered you like it may have done me?? Is it your trauma & experiences that has led you to this decision making?? Or maybe you just like what you like?? Hopefully, this listen will give you an insight on new possibilities or make you comfortable in the choices you make in your spouse is best for the person you are. & there is nothing wrong with that. Just make sure love is the root of it & not the color of their skin. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

“Ain't I A Woman.”- Women like Sojourner Truth walked so women like myself, @amomentwitha & @becominga.podcast can Strut.
Most women were born to be Mothers. Their nurturing spirit that they carry soothes the cry babies, embraces even the toughest child, & mentors the younger generation, all in one. & that's who Tammy “D'va Prez” does for every soul she touches. She is the woman every Village raising family needs. She doesn't call herself a Stepmom because her love for each child she encounters is a Mother's (authentic) Love you feel thru womb to death. Her experience taught me that birthing a child doesn't make you a Mother. So take a listen & hear what it's like being a Bonus Mom. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

They called me Nicole. It wasn’t until my mother died that I found out my real name. But it didn’t matter Nicole was me now. She was the strong one. At 8yrs old she was ripped her innocence to quench a pedophile’s thirst. & with her little legs she kicked, scratch, & squirmed. She yelled out knowing no one would come. The fight only turned him on. So Nicole had to be the strong one. Nicole got good grades while Tangela was the beast. But when the real monster reared his face did Tangela become the weak. So Nicole stayed in the paint until the abuse was done. Nicole never asked for Tangela’s strength she knew It was act of self defense. The real enemy was blood but the world had to feel her wrath. Nicole carried the pain, the dreams, the sexual abuse so Tangela could survive the day. So when you see Tangela Collins just know Nicole is one call away.-ShunJai Guest: Tangela Collins --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

So here I was minding my Christian Mingle Business in the Money Center at Walmart in 2011 around August. & this 5’9 troll came waltzing in to receive some funds that was sent to him. I’m not even sure if this fool had any game but his deep ass dimples & chocolate skin...yea he was about to get these digits.(((sheesh I sound easy like Sunday morning))) Anyway, by the end of October of 2011 I was pregnant & it has been a rollercoaster
I brought back my Mother, Bridget, & brought on her sister, My Aunt, Tangela. We never understand the importance of Parents until we’re Parents ourselves. As serious as the title sounds we shared more laughs than anything. The physical & sexual abuse they endure, their struggles to find themselves & information on their Mother dying when they were so young. Being separated from each other overnight...listen to how these Sisters push through the hard times together and apart. Oh the fight stories will have you laughing out loud. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
