There are hunters and there are straight killas! The latter perfectly describes Heath Rayfield. No stranger to the First Gen Hunter Podcast, Heath joins Lance and Noel to talk a little turkey on this week's installment of Strut Revival. Having been friends for years now, the guys and Heath discuss their connections, the ploy of the wild turkey, getting kids plugged into hunting, and a lot more. This is a good one! Big weekend coming up for softball! We got your info! Golf and track updates and a preview of what's coming up for baseball. The Strut has you covered.
Rick Taylor quickly went from a work relationship to a friend more like family for Lance and Noel in just a few short years. His passion for all things outdoors is obvious but his heart lies with the wild turkey. Listen in as we catch up on Rick's season that includes recent escapades to Oklahoma and a special trip to Texas with his dad. We also glean some insight on trapping and the positive effects it has had on his farm for turkeys in two short years. We round things out with a special story about how he and his wife have a wonderful connection to the annual NWTF convention when it comes to their marriage! Dylan from Palm Tree Classics cars and coffee joins us again to talk about his Datsun 260z that is now back on the road; the GM Guru is shocked on how much they're currently worth. Justin's 3rd Gen Cadillac Escalade is being put up for sale on Bring A Trailer. Will the dealer installed "Strut" kit add or hurt value? Dylan shares his idea behind his IG page @Mostlystreetparked where he writes short articles on vehicles that either never became successful or were simply forgotten about. Can Dylan beat the GM Guru in this latest iteration of Who Am I?
What's up Bros? RHOP finished on a better note. The final 2 episodes goes to show that there is definitely more to this cast than what we got for the second half of the season. Stacey is hosting her Strut for Strays event. Her best friend AJ gives the proper read on her relationship with TJ. Ashley has a week to go in her divorce settlement (allegedly). Karen is held to the fire this episode after Stacey spreads the word that Karen was talking trash about Wendy. Which is unfortunate because it just so happens to coincide with Wendy inviting Karen to the White House as a thank you for being a good friend. Chaos ensues at the Strut for Strays as Karen gets into it with Stacey. This was Stacey's coming out party. Not only does she throw some shade, she doesn't back down to the Grande Dame and secures her place as one of the best newbies we've seen in awhile. The episode ends with Karen headed to court and she is found guilty on multiple charges. Then a clip of the reunion gives us a glimpse of what appears to be a banger of a reunion. This week we have multi-talented influencer and burlesque performer, Cassandra Cass, opening about her life, career, and transition. With humor and raw honesty, Cassandra takes us on a journey through her past, from growing up in Des Moines, Iowa, to becoming a fixture in the Los Angeles scene. She shares the emotional and physical challenges of her transition, reflecting on her relationship with her family, especially her late mother, and the trials of being a transgender woman in the 90s. In between humorous anecdotes about her burlesque performances, Thanksgiving parties with celebrity guests, and even joking about facelifts and “Armenian coffee,” Cassandra dives deep into more serious topics like dating as a trans woman, gender identity, and society's evolving understanding of the LGBTQ+ community. The conversation is as heartfelt as it is hilarious, revealing Cassandra's resilience and unique perspective on love, identity, and self-acceptance. She also sheds light on her health challenges, including a vocal cord issue that has shaped her experience, while maintaining her signature wit and grace. We discuss boundaries in friendships, shedding negativity, and the importance of intimate circles in our lives and reminisce about pivotal career moments, fashion shows, and the importance of authentic connections. Cassandra's recounting of personal traumas—ranging from family struggles, including her mother's addiction and strained relationships with her brothers, to being a survivor of transphobic violence—reveals a raw and tender side of her life story. It's a deep dive into her thoughts on family, potential motherhood, and her nurturing instincts. Though she shares her hesitations about raising children, she expresses her passion for helping those in need, especially young people who come from difficult backgrounds, hinting at a possible future of fostering and giving back. Cassandra reflects on her journey from performing in clubs to landing a role on Strut, a groundbreaking show about a trans modeling agency produced by Whoopi Goldberg. We learn about her firsthand experience with the fashion world, from working with the Slay Model Agency to the complexities of navigating fame and authenticity in a media-driven industry, including her complicated relationship with America's Next Top Model star Isis King, addressing a public fallout that brought tensions to light, particularly during a controversial incident involving Caitlyn Jenner and her tribute to the late Alexis Arquette. We wrap up our first half with Pol' reading her Armenian coffee cup grounds and he offers a vulnerable look at the relationship with the love of her life and family, particularly the evolving bond with her father and upcoming trip and shares the importance of seizing every opportunity that leaves Cassandra speechless, and she professes her shock at the accuracy of what Pol' sees in her cup.
