Sounds of Disney Podcast

Hey everyone. I began this podcast back in 2019 as a way to share uninterrupted binaural in park recordings. Then of course when the pandemic hit I was unable to record so I switched to sharing source audio for what we all thought would be a short time. Well it of course wasn't short, and by the time Disneyland reopened and I was able to get back down there to make new recordings, my audience had grown dramatically and the list of requests for specific audio from around the parks had grown as well. So the show became more source audio with binaural recordings sprinkled throughout. Then of course Spotify removed the show from their platform which was a pain and after switching to a new host, I've never really been able to catch up. Add to that the fact that I am sharing music that I don't have rights to, and could find myself in some legal troubles down the line I've decided to sadly end the podcast. I considered going back to making binaural recordings and sharing those, but living in Northern California with prices increasing Im finding it harder to make it down to Disneyland as much as I used to to record enough episodes to make it worth it. I want to thank you all for your continued love and support of the show. It has really been fun recording the show and interacting with all of you over the past few years. I will be discontinuing the Patreon account at the end of the month so if there are any episodes you'd like to download do it soon.So as they say to the animals. That's the end of the lion. Alright, well here we are on the first of July. As you've probably heard, the Disneyland Resort announced that it will not be reopening on July 17 as announced this month because the state of California has said that it won't issue reopening protocols until after July 4. That of course doesn't leave much time for the company to prepare so they have delayed the opening for a yet to be determined date. So we will continue to wait and see how things play out. This weeks show in honor of the 4th of July here in the States, I thought it would be appropriate to stroll though a patriotic section of the Magic Kingdom. Well hello again everyone. June is now upon us and that means that next month, Disney World will begin reopening its parks. Hopefully all goes smoothly and Disneyland can follow suit. We are back after a fun trip to the Disneyland Resort. We were scheduled to check out on Saturday which worked out since the parks closed that day. It's strange to think that as of now, all Disney owned stores and properties around the world are either closed or scheduled to close by the end of the week except for Aulani Resort in Hawaii. So I hope you are all fairing well and doing your best to say positive amidst all this uncertainty. I was able to get some recordings while there, and I will be going through them this week to see what I can use in future episodes. As for this week I have picked a nice upbeat audio loop for us to enjoy. This selection can be heard as you enter Disney California Adventure.
