Talkin' nerdy & talkin' dirty! Join Caz and Dan for a geeky confessional podcast where people can tell us anything they like anonymously through the website. No subject is off the table. There's also lots of pop culture, films, comics, TV, books, silly news stories and laughs. Give it a try.
It's time for another podcast. Our heroes have both been suffering health problems in recent weeks but are back and raring to go. There's a long discussion of The Sandman, plus a look ahead at what's coming soon. Oh and Caz is looking for serial killers...
Dan and Caz return after a short hiatus with a metric buttload of Marvel news from San Diego Comic-Con. It's not just Marvel though, there's also a ton of other stuff and plenty of silliness. Join us and put your feet up.
Our heroes return to talk geeky. This time they discuss: Dr Strange, The Secrets Of Dumbledore, Moon Knight, The Rings Of Power, The Pentaverate and much more randomness besides. We hope you enjoy it and we'd love to hear your thoughts as well.
Caz and Dan are back from their respective travels. Just when you thought it was safe to have ears, it's unattested time! On this show they discuss: deep fried mars bars, #Boatlife, sunflower lanyards, Nick Cage and a whole heap of Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard in court. So strap in.
Caz and Dan are back again with a little pre-Easter jaunt. Our heroes are both off on holiday. Dan to sunny Scotland and Caz to not so sunny Jamaica. They discuss all kinds of nerdy TV and film but also crucial questions like, can you work from home as a wizard? Also, they've been approved for a mortgage by someone on the Internet, definitely not a spam that.
Caz and Dan are back again with some TV and film nerdery, hot takes and silly jokes. This time they discuss singing koalas, talking prosthetic penises, how emo they think The Batman will be and how often a certain actor says "alright alright alright!". That and much more, we hope you enjoy!
Caz and Dan are back, and in slightly more timely fashion this time. Join them as they discuss clubbing for older people, their favourite moments of the pandemic, the ending to Book Of Boba Fett, the latest Dr Strange trailer and much much more. One thing is for sure, it's as normal as it's gonna get.
It's been a long long time but finally Caz and Dan are back! This time they discuss almost a years worth of film and TV, they ask what's happened to Marvel Studios movie output lately? Discuss Graham Norton playing the Incredible Hulk and much more silliness. We hope you enjoy it and we're glad to be back. Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
Caz and Dan are back at last after another lockdown break, only 3 months this time but we apologise and promise to do better. On this show they discuss lockdown life in the UK, Caz's growing crush on Bucky, Dan's hipster preference for the pandemic's early work, residual Doctor Who beef, Godzilla Vs Kong the courtroom drama and a whole lot more. We hope you enjoy!
After an extended break due to... err... reasons. Mostly COVID and ongoing global pandemic actually. Our heroes return to sum up 2020 and then give it a firm kick up the arse and out the door. What a year it's been. This show also features our first guest in the shape of good friend and fellow geek Andrew Bolster, AKA @Bolster on Twitter. Together the gang discuss their pop culture highlights of the year and look forward to what 2021 might hold. If only we'd had more time to stay at home and watch TV this year...
It's been over 3 months since our heroes recorded in the same location but episode 39 marks that day. With extra long mic cables, disinfected pop shields, rubber gloves and a large dose of social distancing. They marvel at Naked Attraction, Dan recommends Dating Amber, Caz loves Underwater and is on a binge of boxing films. Oh and apparently being a dickhead is still cool.
It's time for episode 38 which finds our heroes still experiencing lockdown life and all that entails. Caz got plants while Dan just got old, with a recent milestone birthday. Caz asks the question, when did we hit peak Pacino? Plus much more geeky TV and film stuff is discussed.
Episode 37 is upon us, the second recorded remotely in Corona lockdown by our heroes. They discuss lockdown life, random YouTubers, Sylvia Jacobs advice to "eat sardines", the perilous future of cinemas and their battle with Universal over showing films at home. Plus much more.
Episode 36 and it's our first remotely recorded pod, so you'll hear a slight difference. Caz and Dan connected using something called The Internet (it'll never catch on) to discuss lockdown life, their various ailments, the pillow challenge, NHS super heroes, plus a bunch of TV and film geekiness as usual.
Episode 35, after something of a long gap our heroes are back never fear. This was recorded 2-3 weeks ago but it's a rambling discussion of many things TV, film, comics and pop culture. Dan is more excitable and probably caffeinated than normal on this one, apologies, he is also preoccupied with butch sexy men it seems. Caz is very patient. Maybe listen at a lower speed if you feel the need hehe.
Time for another new episode in which out heroes discuss what age is middle aged these days anyway? How is David Jason still alive? The perils of having a name that can be associated with a famous song, lots of TV and film, books, an email from our Scandinavian correspondent and much more. We hope you enjoy listening.
It's the "roaring 20s" and our heroes are back! Ready for a new decade. We celebrate this by talking about our top 5 films and TV from 2019 then looking forward to what's in store this year. We also catch up on a ton of feedback and find time for a philosophical discussion about internet privacy and social media. All boxes ticked then. Dig in!
A bumper pre-Christmas episode where we discuss lots of TV and movie geekery but also have a long philosophical discussion about mental health and much more. Deep huh? We also talk about His Dark Materials, the end of Man In The High Castle, and play some hilarious audio from our good friend Alex Lennon.
It's episode 31 and after a short break our heroes are back to share what's been going on in their lives, discuss many geeky pop culture things, then ramble about politics a bit. Plus we have a couple of emails and a wonderful poem we were sent by our newly christened Unattested Poet Laureate.
Episode 30 and our heroes are cranky. Possibly because it's early in the morning but also Caz is annoyed that nobody liked the graphs she spent a whole day making. Where's the Friday Night Graph Crew at?! Nevertheless a good discussion is had about politics, living in other countries, Steig Larsson, unrealistic representations of computer hackers and much more. Dig in, and for god sake don't mention the graphs! I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it ;)
Episode 29, a special Halloween recording... special in that we didn't really do anything different but it was recorded on Halloween sorry. We mention horror films a bit more and have a long discussion about the dangers of artificial intelligence. Plus lots of geekery: Joker, Unnatural Selection, Demon Seed, the Watchmen TV series, Mr Robot and much more are discussed. Dig in!
Lots to discuss in episode 28 as our heroes mull over whether the Unabomber was right in his manifesto, although not condoning his methods obviously. Dan has man-flu and Caz is feeling like a klutz. They review a bunch of movie trailers, Boris Johnson's recent antics, how many types of jam there are and much more. In another helping of unattested randomness for your listening pleasure.
Episode 27 is here but thankfully we're not in the 27 Club. Dan updates us on his diet efforts, Caz updates us on #5amTeacherClub and there's a ton of interesting feedback and confessions involving cocaine, women's clothes and more. We also get geeky about politics, space travel and just how bad Rambo: Last Blood is. So press play to find out more.
It's episode 26 and this time we have another confession from an old friend. Luglass Douglass rides again with a tales of office football and stolen chocolate. We also have a lot of feedback on US politics from our heroes discuss how they are making life changes. Caz is trying to get up at 5am and fancies a bit of #VanLife possibly. Dan is on a diet and has challenged himself to lose 28lbs by New Year. Can they do it?
Episode 25 and our heroes return with thoughts all sorts of things. Including: Orphan Black, Carnival Row, the Royal wee (Her Majesty's toilet habits), metaphysical movies, social media in general and plenty of other random things. Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
On episode 24 Caz and Dan discuss human-monkey hybrid clones and ask the important question... if you had to be half animal which would it be and why? Also, if you were the King or Queen of Westeros who would you choose as your partner? Tough one. They also discuss a lot of films, TV and more as usual. Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
Episode 23, our heroes are reunited. Caz has been off travelling and Dan has been hiding out in the cinema. Lots of tales to share and lots to catch up on. Including some geekiness with opinions on Hobbs & Shaw, Toy Story 4 and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Enjoy! Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
Two little ducks... it's 22. Sorry, you know we can't resist the bingo calls. This time our heroes try (and fail) to chat up Dan's Google Home speaker, chat through a metric buttload of geeky news from San Diego Comic-Con, argue about Vampire banking arrangements, do they pay tax? Plus plenty more randomness. Enjoy!
"21 today, 21 today, key of the door, never been 21 before!" What the hell does all that mean? Which door? We ponder this and other questions. We also discuss Alan Moore retiring from comics, a new Invader Zim movie (yes really), lots of geekiness and some of our recent drunken escapades. It's quite a mix.
It's episode 20 of Tales Of The Unattested and this time our not-so-super heroes debate whether older actors are refusing to move aside to let the younger ones through these days, our opinions on David Lynch's exhibition in Manchester, Stranger Things 3 and whole host of other stuff. Plus a post credits scene discussing the meaning of "Hit Me Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears. All the hot button topics. Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-
It's episode N-N-N-N-N-Nineteen!! This time we discuss a whole host of TV and film geekery, things get a bit political as we discuss who we would choose to lead the UK if we could have anyone. We also chew over the Power Up The North campaign, talk about towns named after GOT and more. Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
Episode 18 is upon us and our not so intrepid heroes return to review John Wick 3, bitch about Game Of Thrones, discuss childhood celebrity crushes and scrapbooking, a Big Brother style parody of GoT, death by octopus and many other random things. Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
We're back with episode 17 and this time we discover how mild-mannered Dan is more revenge motivated than Caz, which will shock a few people. We also have plenty of feedback to discuss from your good selves. There's geekery galore with GoT, Avengers and more. Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
Sweet little 16! This time we talk about the release of Avengers: Endgame at the cinema. WARNING: ahead be spoilers! There's about 30mins of discussion on that including scientific time travel chat. We also managed to debate who is the sexiest Avenger, backed up by stats, we had an email from our Australian office, we look at a terrible wax work in Dublin and much more randomness. Enjoy! Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
Episode 15, our teenage years continue. An even more random show than normal this one. We discuss plane toilets and difficult passengers, Julian Assange, Caz asks where all the good men have gone, we ask if it's possible to choose to be another race? Tricky subject. Then there's all the usual TV and film geekery you'd expect. Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
Episode 14 is here and we're into our awkward teenage years, we're falling into Nazi binges while discussing The Matrix 20th birthday, Batman suing a Spanish football club, some listener feedback, a drunken confession, the Queen's secret super powers (laser eyes we think) and how you never see Captain Birdseye about in the post-Operation Yew Tree world, we're just saying... Please contribute your own thoughts to the discussion by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com or using the very simple form on the website, you know you want to ;-)
It's episode 13 and this time we're back into the confessions, or drunken stories anyway. We also answer crucial questions such as: what is a Baker's Dozen? How far can a porcupine pee? Where would you get 1.5 million bats from? There's also dodgy Golem impressions, Universal monsters and plenty of random geekiness. Contribute your own thoughts by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com you know you want to ;-)
Your favourite not-so-superheroes are back, and this time there's no shirking those important questions we all ask ourselves on a daily basis. Is latex flammable? What about spandex? Who loves DC's Titans more Caz or Dan? Which character should Marvel make a stage musical about and finally claim their EGOT?! Does any animal have 11 legs? Get the answers to all these... and if you think we're wrong tell us! You can contribute you own answers by emailing unattestedpod@gmail.com you know you want to ;-)
After a short break our not-so-superheroes are back, and this time it's personal! A very lazy, geeky, random and rambling episode this one as Caz and Dan get back into the swing of things. There's tales from Belgium, lots of TV and movie chat, bad singing, discussion of just how Lionel Ritchie defies gravity and loads more nonsense. This episode comes with 20% extra free (to make up for missing a show) but it's still low in calories and a great source of protein. Don't forget you can contribute by emailed unattestedpod@gmail.com you know you want to ;-)
The first Unattested pod of 2019 in which our heroes discuss their Christmas exploits. Mostly eating, watching TV and Trivial Pursuit, they're just that rock n roll! There is also another tale from the Lugless Duglass sagas, some really bad attempts to make the T.A.R.D.I.S noise, Spider-Ham and plenty of geekery to kick off the New Year. Don't forget you can contribute by emailed unattestedpod@gmail.com you know you want to ;-)
009 - Christmas Is In The Gutter (AKA Talkin Saucy)
This time our heroes discuss a series of disastrous dating dalliances, one of which includes climbing out of a toilet window and getting caught, we have a series of confessions to mull over from Lugless Douglas, a woman is put in a skip (and this time it's personal) plus all the usual assorted geekery you've come to expect from this show. Finally we finish with an impromptu Kansas City Shuffle. What more could you want? Ok don't answer that, just take a number and sit down in the waiting area.
Roll up, roll up, it's time for another Tales Of The Unattested! In episode 7 we dish out some Unattested couples counselling, we debate what film we'd like to live in, we scratch our heads at why people have trouble accepting a gay wizard, and we ask the hard hitting questions - should chips come with chips? It's an age old dilemma. We also introduce the inaugural episode of Family Chatters (a podcast within a podcast), where Caz surreptitiously records her family having hilarious conversations, the opening topic is Instagram. Meanwhile on the geeky side we talk Venom, Crimes Of Grindelwald, Lucky Number Slevin and much more...
It's that time again (checks watch) yeah it's been about 2 weeks so we are back. Much like the Guerillas of soul we strike unannounced and fade back into the night. On this show we discuss The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina, 3 chickens who escaped and walked into a bar (put you own punchline in there), Mr Robot, whether we would destroy the global financial system given a chance, Ray Donovan, crappy half arsed "immersive" film screenings and a whole lot more. Enjoy it! Also please send us your thoughts, feelings, confessions or anything else to unattestedpod@gmail.com or use the anonymous form at http://unattested.club kthxbai
Greetings and welcome back to Tales Of The Unattested. In this episode our erstwhile heroes discuss a plethora of topics and air a couple of listener confessions. What would it be like in prison? Dan is pretty convinced Oz was a documentary. Caz outshines her sidekick (as usual) with a story of escapism and ill advised marshmallow binge-ing in the back of a lorry at age 3 or 4... the police were scrambled, the marshmallows were not. Plus on the menu we have dune bashing, flights of whiskey and hallucinogenic raindeer piss. So if all madness sounds like your cup of tea you've come to the right place. Step into our office and mind your head on the door :)
In this episode Dan and Caz discuss Reg The Exterminator, Dan gets worryingly overexcited about Batman's wang and our heroes spend a loooong time discussing that. No pun intended. There is also talk of Iron Fist-ing. Basically it's by far the dirtiest show we've done so don't listen to this one with the kids OK? Good. We've sent them to sit in a cold shower and think about what they've done, we're sorry... but not really ;)
Just when you thought it was safe... here we come again, albeit after a little 17 day break. We've been busy OK and we make no apologies for that, but we did miss you... especially you in the red shirt... you know who you are... call us ;-) In this episode we discuss the many inconsistencies of the Marvel movie franchise, sabotaging other people's motorbikes, how to stop a skateboard with your face, why Batman would never misplace his car and much much more. Enjoy!
We're back! Don't call it a comeback, we've been here for years... ok ok so only one episode previous to this but come on people, work with me here. In this episode we actually have some confessions to read out, 4 to be precise, yeah that's right 4, count em. We also embrace our usual tangents into stories of our own and pop culture references. There's talk of how quickly Daredevil would locate an errant dog turd, mystery kitchen fitters, drunken nights out, electric vehicle joy riding and so much more. Pull up a chair and come join us!
The first ever episode of our new show Tales Of The Unattested. We explain a bit about who were are, discuss our favourite funerals, which comic book character we would be and lots more besides. We want to hear your anonymous stories and confessions. Details of how to send them can be found at the website - http://unattested.podfactory.org
