In order to understand why you are stuck at your weight - which you say you hate - you first have to understand why you made yourself weigh what you do. hint- it's not the food. So, here you are, overweight or fat, yet you continue to put way more food in your mouth than you need for nourishment. You know that it's keeping you weighing too much yet you continue to do it. WHY? WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING SO FOOLISH? The reason that you continue to put so much food in your mouth is that it makes you feel better and stops you from feeling bad. In other words, you are doing it for emotional reasons. It has nothing to do with the food itself. Food just sits there. You have to get it and put it in your mouth. IT IS 100 % YOU. NOBODY ELSE!! Diets are a colossal waste of time and money. Diets cannot enable you to weigh less permanently because they are ALL based on emotional deprivation. They try to take away foods that you need emotionally. I am probably the only person in the world who understands this and knows how to permanently eliminate your emotional need for food. OK. You were stuck at home for months during the pandemic. Did you gain weight? Really? Why? People say they gained 15 pounds!! Here you are overweight and unhappy about your weight. So everyone tells you to go on a diet. They have no idea what they are talking about. Your weight is not your problem. Because it made you feel better or stopped you from feeling bad. All diets and weight loss programs are fatally flawed because they deprive you of foods that you feel you need emotionally. They are based on emotional deprivation - which you can only stand for a short period of time. The "experts" don't have a clue. There is no epidemic!!! Obesity is not a disease. That's a joke. The only problem is that people are putting lots of food in their mouths. Why would they do that when they know it could result in diabetes, heart disease and possibly an early death?? Because it is the only way they know how to cope with the ups and downs of their lives. It makes them feel better and stop from feeling bad. Learn how to deal with those emotions without feeling you need to put something in your mouth. So, about 95% of people who go on diets regain the weight they thought they had "lost". How can an industry exist with a 95% failure rate?? This is how. They parade celebrities - to whom they pay a great deal of money - on tv or in ads who say they have "lost weight" and persuade you to pay your hard earned money to the sponsor of the programs - and they fail to mention that you have almost no chance of permanently "losing weight". A very strange omission. Again, your weight is not your problem. It is only a symptom of your problem. Attempting to "lose weight" is a fool's errand. You have to eliminate the real problem which is the need you feel to put food in your mouth to satisfy your emotional needs!! Then you can live at any weight you choose. And it won't cost you a dime.
So, there you are overweight or fat and don't know what to do to weigh less. However, once you know how it's really easy and permanent. The only way to do that is to experience how you feel when you don't get to put the foods in your mouth that you feel you need. It's called Reverse Emotional Engineering. OK, Let's get real. Your neighbor invites you over and offers you some chocolate candy. You weigh 30 pounds too much so you don't want the candy in your system, but you want it in your mouth. So, what are you going to do? Eat the candy or pass it up? LET'S FIND OUT.
You don't want to gain weight but there you are stuck at home and and bored. So what do you do? Just what you didn't want to do. e.g. put food in your mouth and gain weight. Why do that? Because you felt a need to do that to feel better. That is going to be the past. NO MORE.
How can you "love" food when putting a lot of it in your mouth has made you overweight or fat? You hate what you weigh. So why do you keep putting so much food in your mouth? Isn't that just crazy? You are intentionally hurting yourself. The real reason is that you are doing it because emotionally you have to.
If you have ever "lost" weight, say 20-30 pounds, you gained it back. WHY? Because you didn't feel emotionally comfortable at that lower weight. You loved weighing less but emotionally you had to get back to your prior weight. That's the same reason you don't weight 20-30 pounds more than you do. You wouldn't feel comfortable at that weight. That's why "losing weight" is a suckers game. It's only a temporary thing.
First you have to understand why you made yourself overweight or fat. Once you do that you can reverse the process and you will no longer feel an emotional need to put all that food in your mouth. It's really simple once you know how.
The chance of you losing 10 pounds and not gaining it back is about zero. You want to be able to choose what you want to weigh and stop worrying about your weight. It's easy once you understand your problem. It's not your weight. Your weight is only a symptom!!
Remember, you are the one who made yourself overweight or fat. It didn't happen by itself. To reverse that process and weigh any weight you want you first have to understand the emotional needs that you are trying to satisfy with food.

Your problem is that you have a "need" to put food in your mouth. You don't want the food in your system because it makes you overweight or fat. You just want it in your mouth. Learn how to eliminate that "need."

If you really want to lose weight first you have to understand why you gained all that weight. Then losing it is easy!!!
