A phobia is an uncontrollable, irrational fear of an object or a situation that is usually not life-threatening. Most everyone has a phobia and most of them we know are silly and can't hurt us but they freak us out anyway. The Amber Room was a real life treasure room. A gift from Prussia to Russia in 1716, the room boasted some 6 tons of amber, semi-precious stones, and gold inlay. Destroyed, on a wrecked ship at the bottom of the ocean, or locked away in some secret catacombs somewhere.
