En aprildag 2018 grips den 72-årige fd polisen Joseph DeAngelo i sitt hem utanför Sacramento. Han misstänks ligga bakom 13 mord och runt 50 våldtäkter. Gripandet blir kulmen på en 40 år lång jakt. In 2011, FBI agents Julia Cowley and Bob Drew of the Behavioral Analysis Unit, were called in to work on the case and profile DeAngelo who was at the time, still unknown.
