Almost gameday in Detroit.. And we'll be giving away a few sets of tickets to tomorrow's divional round matchup between the Washington #Commanders and Detroit #Lions. The boys will pick the full slate and lay down each team's path to get to New Orleans. We know you'll be in the chat for this one. #NFL #DivisionalRound #Playoffs #Eagles #Rams #Chiefs #Texans #Bills #Ravens
Well, that sucked. And it keeps getting worse as the Lions lose four more players to season ending injuries. Where do we go from here? Is Josh Allen human? Week 15 provided major updates to the playoff picture, and things are starting to become more clear. Let's break it all down in the chat… #NFL #LIONS #Bills #Chiefs #Steelers #Ravens #Packers #Seahawks #Eagles #Vikings #Cowboys #Giants #Jets #Dolphins #Commanders
The boys go over who they think the Winners and Losers are from week 15.
It'll take more than Kryptonite to stop Josh Allen after a SIX TOUCHDOWN performance in a loss to the Rams. Honestly, Sam Darnold felt kind of unstoppable as well yesterday, while Kirk Cousins continued to trend in the wrong direction. The Lions almost got help from the Panthers, but in the end, just like Thanos, they're going to have to do things themselves. Let's talk about week 15 together! #NFL
In what could be argued as the biggest regular season game in the history of Ford Field, the Detroit Lions put the rest of the league on notice by taking down the red hot Packers in primetime for all to see. What comes next? Is this team a team of destiny? Plus, we bring back the playoff machine to show where things stand going forward before a loaded week 14. Let's run it in the chat!
The boys go over some fantasy matchups and questions before week 14
Week 13 told us A LOT. We're starting to get a clear playoff picture. We're starting to see some fantasy league winners. We're starting to see the Lions won't get any help from other teams. We want to hear what YOU think. Come plant your flag in the chat!
The boys talk about the Thanksgiving Day games and make some picks from the week 13 slate.
The Lads are back for another wild Friday. We recap the SNOW BOWL between the Steelers and Browns on TNF. We discuss Michigan football, Danny Dimes being ousted and finish with the WEEK 12 PICKS. MONDAY IS OUR THANKSGIVING GAME GIVEAWAY ANNOUNCEMENT! JOIN US LIVE.
The boys go over some fantasy matchups and questions before week 12.
A week 11 LOADED with massive Quarterback performances provided a lot of insight into the 2024 playoff picture. Which teams on the bubble cemented their case for the postseason? Do we have new favorites in the AFC? Will the Lions lose another game? Plus, some other rookie quarterbacks not named Jayden Daniels are starting to hog the spotlight. We got a lot to talk about, so you better chat with us!
The Lions pulled off a stunner in Minneapolis yesterday, so the boys give their thoughts on the long term outlook of the NFC. The Chiefs are the last unbeaten team after taking down the Niners in a Super Bowl rematch. We're almost half way through the season, and things are starting to shape up. Let's talk about it!
The Saints are toast so we're all set with them. Which coach will get fired next? We'll touch on it all as the boys pick through a massive week seven that includes a Super Bowl rematch between the #49ers and #chiefs, and a battle for the top spot in the NFC as the #Lions take on the #Vikings in Minnesota. Come chat with us!!!
The boys go over some fantasy matchups and questions before week seven.
After a bittersweet statement win for the Lions, the boys discuss what's next with a third of the season in the rearview mirror. Which teams are very much in it, and which are cooked? The NFC North is the new gold standard, so the boys give the long-term outlook of each team. Week six was lit, so come light up the chat!
With revenge on the mind, the Lions head to Dallas for a massive showdown with the #Cowgirls on Sunay. The boys will tell you why Dak and Co. don't stand a chance, as well as give picks and props for the rest of a loaded week six slate. Chat with us, we miss you. #NFL
The boys go over some fantasy matchups and questions before week six.
Monday is upon us again. The Jets suck, and The Vikings are as real as it gets. Chicago's latest win makes the NFC North the most exciting division in football. The Bengals/Ravens duel was everything we wanted, as was Buffalo and Houston...even though Josh Allen was indeed concussed. Also, Jalen Polk caught that ball.
Just Kirk Cousins. That's it. That's the episode.... And week five picks. Come chat!
The boys go over some fantasy matchups and questions before week three.
The boys breakdown week two of the NFL season.
The boys recap the big news as cuts and trades roll in. CeeDee got PAID while Ja'Marr Chase is playing hard to get. We have a starting quarterback in Pittsburgh while we await one in Foxborough. The boys will also go IN DEPTH on the Lions 53 man. A loaded practice squad and some surprising cuts.
The boys start by breaking down the UFC fights…errr…joint practices between the Lions and Giants in East Rutherford, NJ. We go in-depth on the ever-evolving Brandon Aiyuk saga, which seems to be coming to a close. Plus, some injury updates and other news. Come chat with us!
The boys return to the studio (!) to catch you up on what's gone on the last six weeks. Brandon Aiyuk wants out of the bay, Calvin is finally getting honored at Ford Field, some quality NFL content on tv and a whole lot more. We've missed you in the comments!
Former NFL VP of Officiating for the NFL Rules Analyst pioneer Mike Pereira joins the show to talk about his path from the sidelines to our TV screens. Mike tells us about his early days officiating high school football and how that helped him land a gig as the NFL's top official. He also tells us a never before heard perspective of Calvin Johnson's famed "completing the process" catch gone wrong against the Bears back in 2010, and a whole lot more. Let us know what you think in the comments!
The Kings of the North and their grand prince Brad Holmes have been on a hot streak as far as the off-season is concerned since his reign began. Did Holmes disappoint this year? The Lions were not far away from glory last year, and we discuss weather or not they did enough to pick up a ring next season.
In our last and final Offseason Recap we break down our very own NFC North. Without or Detroit Lions (Don't worry they have their own episode.) Did the Packers do enough to help Justin Fields? The Vikings got their next Kirk Cousins, in JJ McCarthy, and The Bears have a whole new team. Can any of them compete with the Lions?
Before Memorial Day Weekend commences we took some time to sit down withArizona Cardinals, Sophomore Defensive End Dante Stills. Coming from a footballfamily with some deep roots to say the least, we ask about the influence having anNFL bloodline like he has had on him. Hailing from Fairmont West Virginia, Danteexplains how much going to WVU meant to him, and playing for the Mountaineersalongside his brother. He goes on to enlighten us on the new culture in theCardinals locker room, and how excited he is for this upcoming season on aCardinals team that may just shock the NFL.Follow our socials!Insta: @ tippedballsX: @ tippedballsTikTok: @ tippedballspodcasts~Check out www.tippedballs.com to read our "Tipped Thoughts" under the BLOGSsection~Follow Dante Stills!Insta: @_dantestillsX: @Dstills55#nfl #nflpostseason #nflfootball #redzone #sports #americanfootball #nflnetwork#olympics #parisolympics2024 #fire #podcast #trending #fantasyfootball #funny
I promise after this we only have one more to go and it's the NFC North and our Lion's so it will be a good one. In what is probably our most controversial division, we discuss the Commanders come up, and the hopefully Cowboys downfall. The Eagles ended 2023 as the most disappointing team, but does the 2024 outlook seem any better? Unfortunately we have to discuss the Giants, and those abysmal uniforms. Follow our socials! Ah the NFC South. Which many see as the NFL's dumpster, and a division who's reigning Champ was a staggering 9-8, had to improve from last year…right? The Buccaneers were average at best in 2023, but did they do enough to provide Baker Mayfield with enough ammo to go back to back? Atlanta got a new coach, (RIP Arthur Smith) and TWO new QBs. Can the Saints and Derek Carr scrape together enough mediocrity to actually compete? Lastly, we discuss the state of the Panthers, and I'm sure Uncle Sam will find a way to try to extinguish the dumpster fire in Carolina and logically give Bryce Young a fighting chance. A voice that captivates and brings smiles to NFL fans everywhere, NFL Network star and RedZone host SCOTT HANSON joins the show. As a Detroit...well...Rochester...native, we had to ask about his days growing up in Metro Detroit and some of his first jobs out of Syracuse. His time at 'Cuse was an interesting one as a do-it-all guy for the Orange football team. Later, going from WXYZ, to Traverse City, then ending up in Los Angeles at the NFL Network HQ, Scott tells us about all the stops along the way. He explains to us just how difficult preparing to be the presenter for Gold Zone at the Paris Olympics has been, as well as that infamous day when the fire alarms sounded during The Witching Hour. IT IS FINALLY HERE. We've known the matchups, but now we know when they are. Chiefs vs Ravens to start the year? Have we had enough of KC in primetime, or is an AFC Championship rematch just what we needed. Friday night football? From BRAZIL?? How many international games can the NFL squeeze in? When will the Lions play their most formidable opponents? We find out soon!
The Seahawks have moved on from Pete Carroll, but so far this off season they do not look much different from the old days. The Rams were seemingly dead after their Super Bowl run, but did they add enough to their young core to continue the resurgence? Did the Niners do enough to seal their place in the conference, or could a young fierce Arizona Cardinals team give them fits?
We wrap up the AFC with the North, and try to determine who the free agency kings were. Did the Bengals do enough to compete with Baltimore? Will the Ravens be more complete than ever? The Steelers do not have losing seasons, but did Pittsburgh do enough to keep winning? And most of all...Cleveland without Joe Flacco...will Uncle Sam finally bark this year?
In our second Off-Season Recap episode, we chat about the AFC South. A division that was not long ago a laughing stock could now be more entertaining than ever. Last year, it was Jacksonville's division to lose, and well…they did. Houston showed us they were the real deal, and Indy proved they deserve to be in the conversation. After a busy off-season, Tennessee wants back into the mix, but is that possible without King Henry?
We step away from our Offseason Divisional Recaps to talk to Penn State Nittany - and Detroit Lion - Jason Cabinda. A man who achieved success on both sides of the football between his years in college and the NFL. He coined the term "Superback." We discuss the honor of being a Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee. Jason reflects on his years of dominating the B1G at Linebacker. After starting out his NFL career with the Oakland Raiders, we chat about what the transition was like from the Patricia to Campbell era once Jason moved on to Detroit. What's next for Jason? Just wait...only big things on the horizon!Follow our socials!Insta: @ tippedballsX: @ tippedballsTikTok: @ tippedballspodcast~ visit www.tippedballs.com ~ to read our blogs!Follow Jason Cabinda!Insta: @ jasoncabindaX: @ jasoncabindaFIND JASON ON CAMEO!Keep an eye out for updates on Jason's med spa! - viomedspa.com
In our first edition of Off Season Recaps we break down the AFC West and all its glory. The division with the current reigning Super Bowl champs may be more interesting than you think this year. Did the Chiefs do enough to hold onto the top spot? Did Harbaugh make moves for Justin Herbert to be successful? Will the QB-less Raiders win games?
Draft week in Detroit was one for the ages as the city really showed out and came out in a big way. We recap the whole week from our vantage points. The first three picks (Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye) were all QBs and we pose a question: Who will be the most successful. Is JJ McCarthy the enemy now for Michigan x Lions fans? The Lions capitalized on defensive talent during the massive run of offense - as did the Eagles. Who will make the bigger impact come week one: Terrion Arnold, or Quinyon Mitchel? Was our Jackie Robinson, Cooper DeJean the steal of the draft? And lastly…why did Atlanta take Michael Penix?
After talking about some MASSIVE deals for some essential Lions, the boys run a live first round mock draft on the eve of the big day. Come join us in the chat! #Lions #NFL #Draft #NFLDraft #Sewell #StBrown #Bears #Vikings #Jets #Bills #49ers #Chiefs #Eagles #Dolphins #Giants #Jets #Steelers #Raiders
It feels so good to be back, and we picked the best week of the year to finally poke our heads out. The boys strap right in and get you prepped for the draft. We'll run a live mock where Uncle Sam and Zolo will personally attack each other while Sam plays peacekeeper. And how bout those new Lions threads? We'll break them down and talk about what makes them so brilliant. Welcome back to the chat!
Better late than never right? We are back for a whole new season. But before we get into the nitty gritty, Michael "Vato" Davis - cornerback of the Washington Commanders - drops by to talk football, family, a little bit of food, and so much more. Join us as we kickoff our third season, and usher in a new era of Tipped Balls!Insta: @tippedballsX: @tippedballsTikTok: @tippedballspodcastwww.tippedballs.comInquires: tippedballs@gmail.com
We're taking a little break, but we're gonna have a little fun before we go! We'll touch on this week's news, including more reactions to the #49ers Super Bowl blunder...Wrap up some news of the week, maybe a mock draft or two. And... a WAY TOO EARLY look at 2024, with some predictions. Hold us to them. Or don't. Either way, the chat needs you!
Super Bowl week is here, and Pat #Mahomes Senior decided to raise the bar for his son Junior by getting a DUI to celebrate. Could Jr's third Super Bowl victory come the same week as his father's third DUI? Did you watch the Pro Bowl? Tough question, we know. Plus, we get into the discourse surrounding Ben #Johnson turning down the #Commanders and Brad #Holmes' viral press conference he gave to #Lions local media today. The true fun lies in the chat... #NFL
The lucky #49ers back into yet another big win, as the #Lions fully collapse after a 17-point halftime lead. The boys debate what went wrong and Zolo puts on a tarp while Sam and Uncle Sam hurl heavy objects at him trying to force him to believe Dan Campbell should've kicked the field goals. Zolo gives his long awaited eulogy on a magical season in #Detroit. #Lamar and the #Ravens #CHOKE at home as #Mahomes heads back to the SuperBowl for the fourth time. What's next for #Baltimore and where does Mahomes rank all time? Calling all #Swifties, will she make it back in time from Tokyo? Thet chat will be therapeutic today, so ask us anything.
It's a bittersweet time of year. We start by weighing in on the coaching carousel update. The #Titans end up with Brian Callahan, and the #Panthers make a splash with Dave Canales, and the #Falcons bring back old friend Raheem Morris. But the big ticket lands in Los Angeles, as Jim #Harbaugh departs #Michigan for the #Chargers. After discussing the two remaining openings, the boys dig right into their picks for championship weekend in the #NFL. #Mahomes against #Jackson as the #Chiefs take on the #Ravens. But the holy grail lies in Santa Clara, as the #Lions look to capture their first ever Halas Trophy against the #49ers. Does the magically run finally end? The chat requests your presence.
For the first time since Uncle Sam had a full head of hair, the #Lions have won a playoff game. Bruce and Zolo recap the epic night from start to finish. The boys give an update on the coaching carousel, and recap all of the divisional games. The #Bucs, #Bills, #Packers, #Chiefs and #Texans are all moving on. The #Rams, #Browns, #Steelers, #Cowboys (lol), #Eagles and #Dolphins are going home. What's next for #McCarthy and #Sirianni? The boys want to see you in the chat!
As we head into a sad weekend, the last featuring all 32 teams, the boys give a moment of silence for the year that was. The final installment of the Friday Playoff Machine, as the guys try to look forward to this year's #NFL Playoffs. Massive weekend for the #Lions, #Eagles, #Cowboys, #Bucs, #Falcons, #Saints, #Packers, #Bears, #Vikings, #Jaguars, #Texans, #Colts, #Bills and #Dolphins, Plus a breakdown of Monday night's college football championship game between #Michigan and #Washington.
