At least one school is clashing with officials over how to handle the current measles outbreak, as three of the country's largest secondary schools confirm cases of the highly-contagious disease. Wellington Girls College, which confirmed a second case last week, is flouting the advice of public health and education officials and sending all students home, except for those doing exams, which begin tomorrow. (The Center Square) – The war of words continues between President Donald Trump and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker over public safety in the streets of Chicago and beyond. Monday evening returning from the Middle East peace summit on Air Force One, Trump said Pritzker should ask for help with public safety. “I think he should beg for help because he's running a bad operation,” Trump told reporters. “He's letting people be killed in his city because he doesn't want it,” referring to a callus of the National Guard. Clashes between law enforcement and protesters continued into Tuesday with chemical agents being deployed to scatter a growing crowd in Chicago surrounding federal immigration enforcement. World leaders gathered in Sharm El Sheikh on Monday to sign a declaration of peace in Gaza. But the resurgence of armed militias brings a new threat to the strip. Clashes have broken out between these groups and Hamas security forces in recent days, prompting fears of more violence. Back in June, a leak forced Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to admit Israel was “activating” Palestinian militias. These factions have been accused of looting aid and causing chaos. Now, with a security vacuum in the wake of a weakened Hamas, the question is: who will fill it?
