Head of Football Product at Pro Football Focus Steve Palazzolo joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about the biggest storylines in the NFL live in the BankPlus Studio. Steve breaks down the Cowboys game vs the Jets and talks about Dak's great performance and a throw that luckily didn't get intercepted and returned. Steve looks at Mike McCarthy's play-calling and notes that he hasn't needed to do anything drastic because he's gotten help from his defense and other factors. Bo asks Steve about the level of use RB Tony Pollard is getting and Steve talks about how some of that has to do with running the ball to burn clock because the team is in the lead. Steve turns to talking about Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields and the statements he's made about his declining level of play and the role coaching has in his loaded thought process. Steve talks about how the offensive line isn't responsible for all of his sacks because Fields thinks too much while letting the play develop and gets sacked because of it. Steve tells Bo and the listeners that sacks numbers are driven by the QB because of the ability, or lack thereof, to get rid of the ball and talks about the rates of some of the best QB's in history. Bo asks Steve if the talent in college football and the NFL leans more to the defensive line rather than the offensive line and Steve gives the answer with reasoning for the lop sided results. Steve breaks down the game between the Saints and the Packers and talks about how Jordan Love has played well but his stats might be a little padded because of a few plays that could have gone differently. Bo asks Steve if he would take Chris Olave or Ceedee Lamb and Steve mentions how they came from a draft class that basically every team that drafted a wide receiver got the one they wanted. Bo asks Steve if it is panic time for the Bengals and Steve says that if Joe Burrow is really injured then it might be. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Kay Adams hosted the latest episode of 'Up & Adams' on FanDuel TV! On today's episode, Kay's joined by Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Marcus Mariota to discuss the fires in his home state of Hawaii, what makes the Eagles organization unique compared to where he's played before, and his experience being on the Netflix series Quarterback. Then, Kay highlights the Baltimore Ravens' defense, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and linebacker Eric Kendricks' impact on the Los Angeles Chargers' run defense. Next, Rob Gronkowski returns to share what made his connection with Tom Brady so special, why New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll's the one coach that could get him out of retirement, and his NFL predictions ahead of the 2023 season. Finally, Kay announces which training camp she'll be at tomorrow, the fantasy football impact of veteran running back signings, and the final four veteran players that have played 10+ years she believes will make an impact this season.
Charles Robinson and Jori Epstein recap the whirlwind of news around the NFL, including the New York Jets signing Dalvin Cook, Jonathan Taylor returning to camp, the Dallas Cowboys paying Zack Martin and the New England Patriots signing Ezekiel Elliott. Later, the duo give their biggest takeaways from the latest training camps they've visited, including the Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys.1:50 - The Jets signed Dalvin Cook, who is the cherry on top for a roster that looks ready to compete for a Super Bowl. The Jets are officially all in, and it's hard not to project them as legitimate contenders barring some concerns along the offensive line.12:50 - Cowboys All-Pro guard Zack Martin gets paid, as he gets an $8M raise for the next two seasons. Martin is the kind of player who is a no-brainer to pay, but Dallas has a few big extensions coming up they'll have to plan for in guys like Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb.20:50 - The Patriots signed Ezekiel Elliott, who will complement Rhamondre Stevenson in a backfield that needed a short-yardage guy.24:25 - Jonathan Taylor returned to camp Monday, but there's no reason to think the tension between Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts is anywhere near resolved. Charles thinks the Colts would be right to pay Taylor, especially if they see Taylor and Richardson form a connection once the season starts. The running back market continues to be a hot topic of debate around the NFL.39:30 - Jori visited Cowboys camp and is most excited to see their wide receivers take a big step forward. Dak and his receivers have made their chemistry a huge point of emphasis, and they added speedy veteran Brandin Cooks.46:20 - Charles visited Steelers camp, and he thinks the connection between QB Kenny Pickett and his wide receivers (including Allen Robinson and George Pickens) has taken a jump. The AFC North will be a bloodbath this season.52:50 - Building off the focus on QB and WR connections, Jori saw improvements in the game of both Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown. Brown appears to have gotten faster, while Hurts has put work into his passing and hopes to build off of a lethal 2022 campaign.59:10 - Charles rounds out the podcast by giving his takeaway from Titans camp: this roster is being underrated. The defense is full of stars, while the offense seems to have added some exciting new pieces. If Ryan Tannehill can stay healthy, this team could compete in the AFC South. Please support Terez Paylor's legacy:• Buy an All-Juice Team hoodie or tee from BreakingT.com/Terez. We covered the Round 1 WRs at the end of yesterday's show, so we pick it up with Round 2 (1:25) and discuss CeeDee Lamb, A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson and the rest of the stud WRs. Does DeVonta Smith belong in Round 2? As of now, Smith is in Round 3 (12:25) along with Chris Olave, Tee Higgins and someone that we are calling a bust! Then we're into Round 4 (16:30) with Keenan Allen, Deebo Samuel and more. Who are we avoiding in this range? ... Based on current ADP, Rounds 5 and 6 (31:40) could be awesome rounds for WRs! Jerry Jeudy, D.J. Moore and a few others could be real difference makers. Round 7 (48:30) has some steals too, but also tricky players like Brandon Aiyuk and Mike Evans. Then we'll focus on Rounds 8 and 9 (54:30) with rookies Jordan Addison and JSN looking like exciting picks but veterans like Michael Thomas and Juju Smith-Schuster also providing some value ... We finish with the late-round picks we like (1:03:00) and there are a lot of them including Elijah Moore, Nico Collins and Romeo Doubs ...
