Bo and Blake talk NFL Draft and the Y'all Lifestyle in the first hour of the show live in the BankPlus Studio. The guys get set for the first round of the NFL Draft tonight as Bo takes more shots at Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. On National Prime Rib Day, the guys discuss the best places to order the "forgotten cut" in the steak world, and listeners weigh in on Whiskey61.com for a chance to win a bottle of Russell's Reserve private barrel selection. Bo makes the case for Chris Lemonis to operate a little differently over the last month of the season in order to save his job and try to find more wins for Mississippi State baseball. Following a record donation from a Mississippi State alum, Bo and Blake discuss how they would spend 100 million dollars if they were lucky enough to have it. The guys continue talking about the best, and maybe worst, spots to get prime rib and how it became an afterthought in the steak world. Blake shares a story about a weird place in San Antonio that serves prime rib with waiters in costume, and Bo takes more shots at the city he and Charles Barkley love to hate. That leads to an interesting discussion about how cabarets served food in the 90s. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
A discussion on picking up the tab; Coach Prime's Portal Problems; Jerry Jones says whatever he thinks
Good friends and amazing representatives of the wing NBA fandom that have busy lives but know just enough to be dangerous (and as you'll hear in this episode -- sometimes dead wrong (just wait for Jerry's analysis of Nuggets series...and Jimmy Butler.), Atiqa Mohammad and Jerry Jones are breaking down the first week of the NBA playoffs. We are having a good time talking about our favorite sport during the most exciting time on the calendar: the NBA playoffs. Listen in as Atiqa makes more insightful takes and Jerry talks nonsense, experiences a technical difficulty and outright forgets Jalen Brunson's name). We're having a darn good time on this one. SportsDay Insiders Kevin Sherrington, David Moore and Evan Grant get ready for this week's NFL draft by discussing whether the Cowboys will stay put at 26 (consensus: probably) and what they'll do. [3:15] Each of our insiders picks a player for the Cowboys, with David ranging widest. [25:13] Evan describes the implosion in the back of the Rangers' bullpen. Kevin thinks Chris Young needs to find a closer before the deadline, answering a years-old question, before it sinks the morale of a contending club. [46:20] David notes that Mark Cuban is finally seeing the same scrutiny that Jerry Jones has endured for years. And the guys decide that the Stars, with the best goalie, are the better team, but they can't let the Wild push them around anymore.

2nd hour of the G-Bag Nation Stephen Jones reaction NFL news of the day LA Live
Hour 3: The Aaron Rodgers news broke during NFL Live on ESPN and Adam Schefter broke the news to them and they were all freaking out. There hasn't been much talk about Max Scherzer since his suspension for sticky stuff. How will he rebound when he gets back if he can't use the rubbing alcohol with the rosin? A-Rod wants someone to do a documentary about his life. Gio does not want to talk about the GQ list of NY's top athletes. He will not fall into that trap. Jerry returns for an update but first Gio talks to Boomer about keeping his blue checkmark. Niners GM John Lynch said they are not shopping Trey Lance. Jerry Jones talks about picking at 26. The Devils beat the Rangers at MSG to even the series at two apiece. The Yankees had all sorts of problems in Minnesota. Couldn't hit, pitch or field. Stephen A Smith said it's a crime to hit a man in the balls. Do you hear that Dillon Brooks? In the final segment of the hour, Boomer has a conflict this Saturday night as his Rangers play but he also has his black tie affair. This is year 30 for Booming Celebration. A caller can't believe a rookie goalie came in and won two games in the Garden.
Hour 1: Boomer is happy that the Aaron Rodgers deal is done exactly the way he said it would get done. But he's pissed that ‘Elmer Fudd' got outcoached by Lindy Ruff, who the Devils fans wanted fired at the beginning of the season. Boomer said Rodgers needs to be all in if the Jets are going to go far in the playoffs, the same way Tom Brady was in Tampa. Boomer also thinks it's great for Zach Wilson to learn under Rodgers. They have to at least get to the AFC Championship game. It's ‘nut cuttin' time' for the Jets. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with Jalen Hurts meeting the media and talking about winning championships being better than big money contracts. We heard from Matt Loughlin as the Devils beat the Rangers at the Garden to tie the series 2-2. Akira Schmid had another great game in goal for NJ. Gerard Gallant said ‘we didn't show up'. Joey Gallo hit a HR and Sonny Gray shut the Yankees down in Minnesota. A fan called Gallo a ‘bum' and you could hear it clearly on the broadcast. The Tampa Rays won again, their 14th straight at home. Old man LeBron James and the Lakers beat Memphis. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the Devils evening the series at 2 games. Boomer did not like the lack of shots by the Rangers. The penalty kill by the Devils has been much better in the last 2 games and the Rangers have no way to combat it. Gio can't believe Jets fans are complaining about giving up a conditional pick for Aaron Rodgers. Hour 2: Gio is excited the Knicks have a 3-1 lead over the Cavaliers and he's already looking forward to the next round. He thinks the Cavs will win tomorrow night and the Knicks will win it back at MSG. His dream scenario is playing the Heat in the second round. Gio doesn't like the take that just because Aaron Rodgers goes back at the media doesn't mean he can't handle it. Jerry returns for an update and he's busting balls talking about the Knicks playing the Suns in the NBA Championship. We heard from Matt Loughlin as the Devils beat the Rangers at MSG. Akira Schmid did it again in goal for the Devils. Sonny Gray shut down the Yankees and was happy to do it against his former team. The Rays won again, their 14th straight at home. LeBron and the Lakers beat Memphis. In the final segment of the hour, a man wants to train Gio's new dog…over the phone. Gio plays Island Wide Realty's Anthony Bernardo selling a parking lot. A caller can't believe a rookie goalie came in and won two games in the Garden. Hour 4: This is as good as it gets for the Jets. They have Aaron Rodgers, Nathaniel Hackett and Joe Douglas. He could become the best GM in Jets history. Unfortunately he's in a conference with great QBs and a difficult division in the AFC East. And hopefully Zach Wilson will be ready to start when Aaron Rodgers retires. Boomer said Woody Johnson wants to be on Hard Knocks. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with audio from Matt Loughlin and the Devils win over the Rangers at MSG. Joey Gallo hit a HR as the Twins beat the Yankees in Minnesota. LeBron James and the Lakers are going right at Memphis in these playoffs. In the final segment of the hour, at least we don't have to worry about Aaron Rodgers showing up out of shape. He eats super healthy. When will his press conference be? Tomorrow or Thursday says Boomer. We also talked about the Rangers/Devils series and all the problems the Rangers have had the last two games.
