Cole Tilbury from The Professional Builder and Paul Sanneman from Contractor Staffing Source attack the operational mistake of trying to scale volume before plugging foundational system leaks. Owners regularly attempt to implement fifteen isolated systems at once while handling Sunday evening admin, ultimately stalling their business around $8 million in revenue because they lack a core operating structure. To resolve this friction, Cole introduces the ICE Filter to score and prioritize high-impact systems. He pairs this with the Professional Builder's Rate to ruthlessly delegate tasks falling below the owner's true hourly value. By shifting focus from swinging a hammer to tracking accountability, builders can safely step out of the daily operations and buy back 12 hours a week. Paul Sandeman also details how a flat-fee hiring process achieves a 94 percent success rate, entirely eliminating the $40,000 cost of a bad employee. These lightweight earbuds—just 4 grams each—were designed using data from over 10,000 ear profiles and feature 13mm triple-magnet drivers with LDAC codec support for Hi-Res audio on Android devices.  We discuss the practical implications of Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, multipoint pairing for dual devices, and the inclusion of Spatial Audio at this price point. The conversation covers real-world battery performance (9 hours per charge, 45 hours total with the case), the effectiveness of dual-mic AI call noise reduction, and how the semi-in-ear design balances all-day comfort against passive noise isolation. We also examine the customization options available through the SOUNDPEATS app, the IPX5 water resistance for workout use, and what the VGP 2026 Gold Award recognition might indicate about overall quality. Throughout the discussion, we consider where compromises were likely made to achieve this feature set at under $40 and who would benefit most from this particular combination of specifications. Workers hired under the Trump administration's Tech Force program are gradually making their way into the government. About 200 people have been hired so far, and onboarding began over the past couple of weeks, Tech Force Director Kevin Hennecken told an audience gathered in a meeting room within the U.S. Capitol Visitor's Center on Wednesday. He estimated about 10 people have been onboarded and expects that to be over 100 next month. The goal, he said, is to have about 300 to 500 workers by the end of summer. “Going from hiring to onboarding in the government can take a little bit of time,” Hennecken said. “We're moving as fast as we can.” Immigration and Customs Enforcement is spending more than five times what it did last year on a single vendor's identity verification technology, according to procurement documents published this month. ICE's contract with BI2 Technologies from Sept. 24, 2025 to Sept. 23, 2026 totaled $4.6 million, while the new award, set to run from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027, surpasses the $25 million mark. The Massachusetts-based, venture capital-backed vendor will supply ICE agents with an additional batch of 1,570 iris-scanning devices. The handheld devices are wireless and connect to BI2 Technologies' Inmate Identification and Recognition System, which provides access to 5 million-plus booking records, including arrest and incarceration data from 47 states. Scaling B2B Revenue With Digital Workers, Not More Hires

Predictable B2B Success

What if your biggest growth bottleneck isn't a shortage of salespeople, content, or marketing firepower but the invisible assumption that only humans can drive revenue? In this thought-provoking episode of Predictable B2B Success, Lauren Esposito, Chief Marketing Officer at Assemble and former Salesforce leader, reveals a radical new way of building revenue teams. Imagine running a go-to-market engine powered by 183 digital workers (AIs with job descriptions, managers, and KPIs) working seamlessly alongside 160 humans. The result? Documented productivity gains in the millions and a more predictable path to growth. But this isn't another story about shiny new AI tools. Lauren Esposito explains why adding bots isn't enough. Managing, designing, and integrating a hybrid workforce demands a new operating system for B2B companies. You'll learn why even early-stage founders can and should start now. We discuss when and where digital workers deliver the most value, what can go wrong, and how to unlock institutional knowledge that usually disappears when employees leave. Whether you're skeptical or already experimenting, this conversation will challenge how you think about scaling revenue and inspire you to take action. If you're ready to rethink your growth constraints, hit play. Some areas we explore in this episode include: Human vs. Digital Worker Constraint: Why limiting revenue teams to only human workers creates structural unpredictability.Hybrid Workforce Model: The process and impact of integrating digital (AI) workers alongside humans.Redesigning Revenue Operations: Overhauling operating models, lead routing, and workflows for digital+human teams.Operational Lessons from Implementation: Challenges and learnings from building a hybrid workforce in the first 90 days.Adoption Barriers for Small Companies: Misconceptions that keep small teams from starting with AI, and why they're not true.Tangible Starting Points: Specific, practical approaches for early-stage companies to deploy digital workers.Design and Management of Digital Roles: How to define, onboard, and manage AI worker roles with clear KPIs.Institutional Knowledge Retention: Leveraging digital workers to preserve key company knowledge when employees leave.Predictable Revenue Growth: How digital workers enable more reliable and measurable growth, not just bigger numbers.Internal Alignment and Change Management: Building internal consensus and charters to drive successful digital transformation.

In this episode, we examine the HAYLOU Flowbuds N55, a $39.99 pair of true wireless earbuds that brings several premium features to the budget segment. These earbuds offer active noise cancellation up to -54 dB with adaptive real-time adjustment through the Haylou Sound app, along with five preset scenarios and customizable EQ options. Audio quality is supported by Hi-Res certification with LDAC codec capability and a 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic driver, though users should note that enabling LDAC may reduce battery life from the advertised 40-hour total runtime. For calls, the earbuds employ a 6-microphone environmental noise cancellation system, and they carry an IPX5 water resistance rating for everyday outdoor use. The Flowbuds N55 presents an interesting case study in how much technology can be packed into an affordable price point, raising questions about where compromises might exist and whether features like adaptive ANC and Hi-Res audio meaningfully enhance the experience for typical users, or if they're primarily spec-sheet advantages in a competitive market. In this episode of Unspoken Security, host AJ Nash sits down with Dan O'Day, Senior Consulting Director at Unit 42 by Palo Alto Networks. Dan shares key findings from the 2026 Global Incident Response Report, built from over 750 real-world cyber incidents, covering four major threat trends reshaping the security landscape.Dan breaks down how AI is compressing attack timelines at a dramatic rate. The fastest incidents now move from access to full impact in just 72 minutes, down from 285 minutes the year prior. Attackers are no longer breaking in. They are logging in, using stolen credentials, tokens, and API keys to move laterally and avoid detection. Identity is now the dominant attack surface, playing a material role in nearly 90% of Unit 42's investigations. The conversation closes on a note of cautious optimism. Dan argues that over 90% of breaches stem from preventable gaps, meaning security is solvable. He outlines three priorities for defenders: empowering the SOC to act at machine speed, treating identity as the new perimeter, and securing the entire software supply chain from the first line of code to cloud runtime.Download the Unit 42 Global Incident Response Report 2026 here: https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/resources/research/unit-42-incident-response-report?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=na&utm_content=pa001134 Send us Fan MailSupport the show

Why Low-Cost Hires Can Slow Your Growth

The Level Up Podcast w/ Paul Alex

Trying to save money on talent can feel smart in the beginning. But in business, cheap help can quickly become one of the most expensive mistakes you make. In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down why hiring based only on price can slow your growth, weaken your execution, and keep you stuck doing work your team should already be handling. At first, low-cost hires may look like a win. But when you constantly have to fix mistakes, repeat instructions, micromanage every task, and step back into the weeds as the CEO, you are not saving money. You are losing time. You are losing momentum. You are losing opportunity. The truth is, your team determines how fast your business can grow. If the people around you cannot execute at a high level, your company will always be limited by the amount of work you personally can carry. In this episode, you'll learn: Why cheap talent often costs more in the long run How low-quality execution slows down growth and creates more stress Why great hires should be measured by results, not just hourly cost How A-players create leverage, speed, and consistency in your business Why investing in the right team raises the standard of your entire company The fastest way to scale is not by doing everything yourself. It is by surrounding yourself with people who can think, solve, and execute without needing constant supervision. Because when you hire the right people, you do not just buy labor. You buy back time, speed, focus, and freedom. Your Network is your NETWORTH! Trump Tightens Grip on Strait of Hormuz Putting Enormous Pressure on Iran plus Qatar Hires DC Lobbyists as the Heat Rises

Verdict with Ted Cruz

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 20, 2026 33:28 Transcription Available

1. U.S. Military Pressure on Iran via the Strait of Hormuz The U.S., under President Trump, is enforcing a naval blockade around the Strait of Hormuz. An Iranian‑flagged cargo ship allegedly attempted to run the blockade and was disabled by the U.S. Navy, boarded, and seized after warnings. The action is deliberate, proportionate, and militarily precise, intended to deter further attempts. 2. Economic Warfare as Primary Strategy The blockade is an economic weapon, not a prolonged war. Iran is portrayed as losing hundreds of millions of dollars per day in exports and imports due to the blockade. Oil exports—described as Iran’s economic lifeline—are emphasized as being almost entirely dependent on Gulf shipping routes. 3. Severe Impact on Iran’s Oil Sector Iran has limited oil storage capacity; if exports stop, wells must be shut in. Shutting in wells is described as causing permanent damage to oil fields (water coning), leading to lasting production losses. This is presented as long‑term leverage that could cripple Iran’s future revenue even if sanctions end. 4. Currency Collapse and Domestic Economic Crisis Iran’s currency (the rial) is described as undergoing hyperinflation. Banks are reportedly limiting cash withdrawals to very small daily amounts. Food prices and inflation are framed as spiraling, increasing public pressure on the regime. 5. Strategic Pressure on China Because much of Iran’s oil allegedly goes to China, the blockade is also meant to force China to pressure Iran into negotiations. The timing is framed as optimal due to oil supply rerouting and OPEC production adjustments minimizing global disruption. 6. Arrests and Enforcement Beyond the Battlefield The arrest of an Iranian arms broker in the U.S. is cited as proof of aggressive global enforcement against Iranian weapons trafficking. This supports the narrative that Iran is being squeezed financially, militarily, and legally at the same time. 7. Rejection of “Quagmire” Narrative This is not another Iraq or Afghanistan: No U.S. boots on the ground Limited, targeted military actions Defined economic and security goals Critics, especially Democrats, are politically motivated rather than security‑focused. Qatar’s Influence Campaign in the U.S. 8. Qatar as a Major Funder of U.S. Universities Qatar is described as the largest foreign donor to U.S. universities over several decades. Funding is framed as a tool to shape academic, cultural, and political opinion in its favor. 9. Connection to Campus Unrest There is a correlation between universities receiving Qatari funding and anti‑Israel or antisemitic campus protests. Universities are vulnerable to foreign influence due to financial incentives. 10. Hiring of Washington Lobbyists Qatar‑linked organizations allegedly hired major D.C. PR and lobbying firms. Purpose: reputation management, crisis response, and influencing Congress and the administration. These efforts are framed as an attempt to “whitewash” Qatar’s alleged support for Hamas and Islamist movements. 11. Control Over Academic Speech One example cited is a U.S. university campus in Qatar with contractual restrictions on criticizing the Qatari regime. This is used to argue that financial dependence undermines academic freedom. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now.
