I recently met up with Pastor Silva in Roma, Texas and went into the border town of Miguel Aleman, Mexico with her. On the banks of the Rio Grande she and her husband with a few volunteers from their church, Bethel Mission Outreach Center, meet hundreds of migrants coming into the US Illegally every evening. Their outreach work happens before they are processed by the US Border Patrol. Pastor Silva prays with them and hands out water and protein bars some night theres not enough. In Mexico their church is in seven locations and the cartel warfare is real and each day increasing.
