Send us a textVisibility anxiety affects even the most talented entrepreneurs, especially when they're stepping into networking situations. In this candid, on-the-go episode recorded from my car, I break down the unnecessary drama we create around being seen in business spaces and offer practical mindset shifts to transform networking from a source of stress to an opportunity for authentic connection.Ever found yourself freezing up at a business event, worried about saying "the wrong thing"? You're not alone. When we focus on avoiding mistakes, our energy flows toward anxiety rather than opportunity. The solution isn't perfect preparation but rather deciding who you want to BE in those spaces beforehand. By practicing your introduction in the mirror and validating yourself first, you free up mental bandwidth to focus on having fun and connecting genuinely with others. Many entrepreneurs, particularly women, get stuck in rigid definitions of "networking" that don't align with their personality or values. I share how I created my own networking opportunities through a meetup group that grew to hundreds of members. Networking doesn't require stuffy events or corporate settings – it can happen in pole fitness classes, co-working spaces, or anywhere you authentically connect with like-minded individuals. The most powerful networking happens when you stop trying to fit into someone else's box and instead create visibility opportunities that feel aligned with who you are.Remember: people need what you have to offer, but they can't benefit from your gifts if they don't know about them. Your visibility isn't just about business growth – it's about connecting your valuable services with those who need them most. What room will you walk into next where you can practice introducing yourself and your business with confidence and authenticity?- - - - - - - -ENJOY THE PODCAST?Leave us a 5-star review so more people can find us!LEARN MORE ABOUT COACHINGNandiCamille.comSCHEDULE YOUR FREE DISCOVERY CALLClick HereEVENTSClick here to learn viewLISTEN TO MY CONFIDENCE SESSIONS IN THE MARIGOLD APP50% off annual membership: Use code: NANDI50---> Click below to learn morehttps://apps.apple.com/us/app/marigold-self-confidence/id1463889202LET'S BE SOCIALEmail: hello@nandicamille.comInstagram: @nandi.camilleLearn more about Nandi and Life Coaching at: NandiCamille.com

Send us a textI have a love/hate relationship with being referred to as "The Networking Queen."This phrase often conjures up images of someone super confident, outgoing and polished. She's out every night and you see her at every event, working the room, making everyone feel like they are her best friend. On social media, it seems like everyone knows her AND loves her. So years ago, when I attended a business conference and heard one woman saying I was "not at all what she expected," it changed really changed my understanding of authenticity in networking. In this episode, I'll share that story and some gentle reminders about the imporance of allowing other people to be human too. Showing grace and empathy and remembering that your first impression may not always be the truth can go a long way in building your network with the right people. ----Our next PWR Virtual Speed Networking Event is the perfect place to practice showing up authentically AND allowing others to be human too! https://powerfulwomenrising.com/eventsFor even deeper connections, check out the Powerful Women Rising Community here: https://powerfulwomenrising.com/community/Don't forget my free list of the Top Virtual Networking Events for Female Entreprenuers! https://powerfulwomenrising.com/

Let's dive into a practical LinkedIn strategy to attract the right people through your posts:Step 1: Be anti-cringe. Posting platitudes is an easy way to get ignored or not taken seriously. That's not only NOT helpful, but as humans, we have an uncanny ability to smell when people are not being genuine. Instead, post about what you're learning. Step 2: Don't be boring... at first. You wrote an interesting post but nobody read it. Here you thought you'd be judged by the masses and yet, you barely see any interaction. You must make your first sentence interesting.Step 3: Know who you're posting for. Take the emotion out of it. If you're on the job hunt, you're not fishing for likes so don't focus on that metric.Step 4: Don't freestyle it. I write pretty much all my posts for the week on Sunday. This way I'm not scrambling to channel my creativity before I start my work day or my kids start yelling at me to make them pancakes. My best advice is not to overthink it. LinkedIn can be one of the most powerful ways to leverage your skills and further your career…IF you know how to use it the right way. Not knowing how to truly communicate and engage with the right people on LinkedIn could be holding you back. The key to using this social media platform is really understanding how it works. Today on The Bridge to Fulfillment Ⓡ, Blake welcomes Callie Schweitzer. She serves as the Head of Community Programs at LinkedIn and has built an impressive career in media and networking. Working her way up after starting with the networking platform in 2020, she also founded The Callie Co., an advisory firm that has worked with FORTUNE 500 brands and top executives. Her resume includes roles with Arianna Huffington's Thrive Global, Vox Media and Talking Points Memo. Twice included on Forbes' 30 Under 30 Media list, she's been referred to as “the future of media” by Business Insider and was selected as one of TIME's 140 Best Twitter Feeds in the World. She serves on the advisory boards of GenHERation, The Startup Girl Foundation, WOMAZE, the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy, and the DeepTrust Alliance. In this episode, you'll learn the best practices for using LinkedIn to your benefit and how to network like a pro. You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how those who succeed in networking, career growth, and thought leadership are using this valuable tool. You'll learn how to provide real value to your followers, create meaningful connections, and how to embrace the “we before me” mentality. What You'll Learn: Defining what ‘having it all' means to you (9:07) How knowledge exchange really works (12:24) Rule number 1 for using LinkedIn successfully (15:03) How to find the content you want to follow (21:50) LinkedIn tips for job seekers (23:58) An important rule about boundaries (34:30) Favorite Quotes: I really became a human doing, not a human being. I was really so trying to optimize for overcoming this fear I had of not being enough. Callie Schweitzer To me, a personal brand is what people say about you when you're not in the room. Callie Schweitzer I had all of my worth wrapped up in my job. I gave everything to it. I went through so many cycles of burnout. But I stayed the course out of fear and how much money I was making. I had lack of clarity, not knowing what was the right path for me. This is why I'm so passionate about helping women understand there's a better way. Blake I've been able to have it all, but it's all on my terms and my way. And that may not be ‘all' for somebody else. And that doesn't matter because I get the things that I value and at the end of the day, that eventually creates the life that you want.
