Book of the Week: Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life by Dr. Wayne DyerFive hundred years before the birth of Jesus, a God-realized being named Lao-tzu in ancient China dictated 81 verses, which are regarded by many as the ultimate commentary on the nature of our existence. The classic text of these 81 verses, called the Tao Te Ching or the Great Way, offers advice and guidance that is balanced, moral, spiritual, and always concerned with working for the good.In this book, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer has reviewed hundreds of translations of the Tao Te Ching and has written 81 distinct essays on how to apply the ancient wisdom of Lao-tzu to today's modern world. This work contains the entire 81 verses of the Tao, compiled from Wayne's researching of 12 of the most well-respected translations of text that have survived for more than 25 centuries. Each chapter is designed for actually living the Tao or the Great Way today. Some of the chapter titles are “Living with Flexibility,” “Living Without Enemies,” and “Living by Letting Go.” Each of the 81 brief chapters focuses on living the Tao and concludes with a section called “Doing the Tao Now.”Wayne spent one entire year reading, researching, and meditating on Lao-tzu's messages, practicing them each day and ultimately writing down these essays as he felt Lao-tzu wanted you to know them. This is a work to be read slowly, one essay a day. As Wayne says, “This is a book that will forever change the way you look at your life, and the result will be that you'll live in a new world aligned with nature. Writing this book changed me forever, too. I now live in accord with the natural world and feel the greatest sense of peace I've ever experienced. I'm so proud to present this interpretation of the Tao Te Ching, and offer the same opportunity for change that it has brought me.”=====MEET JASON BARLOW, RMT=====I specialize in helping busy parents feel healthy, happy and energized. My accomplishments include:Highest Rated and Most Reviewed Massage Therapist in the Foothills (Alberta)Author of the 15-Step Playbook for Pain ReliefCreator of the First Aid for Pain Relief ProgramRegistered Massage TherapistCHEK Exercise CoachCHEK Nutrition & Lifestyle CoachCertified PosturologistBuddhist Meditation Teacher=====FREE, INSTANT ACCESS TO THE 15-STEP PLAYBOOK FOR PAIN RELIEF EBOOK=====Visit www.jasonbarlowrmt.com (digital) or purchase a paperback or Kindle edition on Amazon.First Aid for Pain Relief Rx ProgramsDownload and instantly access a more extensive program for your stress, tension and pain at - www.jasonbarlowrmt.com/shop=====HANG WITH ME ON THE SOCIALS:=====www.playbookforpainrelief.comwww.Instagram.com/jasonbarlowrmtwww.Facebook.com/jasonbarlowrmtwww.Twitter.com/jasonbarlowrmtwww.LinkedIn.com/company/jasonbarlowrmtwww.jasonbarlowrmt.com/blog#family #healthy #relax #healthylifestyle #yyc #massage #stressrelief #okotoks

What that means is I dig really deep into individual situations. I try to identify or help clients identify risks that they have that they face and that they might not have any idea that they have that they face. And then we figure out ways to mitigate that.” — Wayne Patton [0:01:48]“If you’re thinking about this last minute, post hoc, after the fact, after the pandemic hits, you’re in a really bad situation because the poker chips are already on the table and you can’t pull them off once your cards have been dealt.” — Wayne Patton [0:06:24]“The worst thing you can do is have your business lines of credit at the same place where you have your home mortgage and all of your bank accounts because the banks will just go berserk in terms of taking your assets if your business line isn’t current. I have seen it happen a number of times.” — Wayne Patton [0:19:17]“Surround yourself with a great team of people, including an asset protection attorney.” — Wayne Patton [0:26:22]Links Mentioned in Today’s Episode:Asset Protection Attorney Wayne PattonWayne Patton Phone Number Passive Income Through Multifamily Real Estate Podcast Episode 51Vanderbilt UniversityForce majeure and contractual obligations
It really stuck with me when Wayne spoke about how people may not know exactly what you want but they are usually willing to help. However it is up to you to keep asking questions and putting the pieces together to find a solution that will work for you. Often times we ask 1 person 1 question and when we do not get the answer we want or one that we hoped for we give up. As Wayne said it is important to ask many people because what works for one may not be what works for you. Here is a bit more about Wayne’s history. As the founder of Business Builder Camp, Wayne Herring has helped men across the country grow their businesses into successful and thriving enterprises. However, there is so much more to his story than simply “coach” or “consultant.” Wayne has worked as a specialty drilling and blasting contractor and built an organic farm. He doubled the revenue of the company his father started and then helped sell it to an industry giant. He has run ultra marathons, gone on epic road trips, and is a 1997 Montana state arm wrestling champion. Wayne is a father of four and a recovered alcoholic. He loves to hunt and farm, but he also enjoys yoga and meditation. Some have described Wayne as a renaissance man, but he thinks that is a strange term for the son of a coal miner. Having grown a business and coached other business owners, Wayne understands we all have times in our lives where we are blocked. He founded Business Builder Camp to help men overcome obstacles in growing their businesses while creating fulfilling and enjoyable lives. He achieves this both through 1:1 coaching and participating in group retreats. Wayne pushes the members of his Camp to see new possibilities, discover new tools, and identify the gifts they didn’t know they had. Additionally, Wayne is passionate about gathering his clients together at lodges or his farm for fun, friendship, adventure, and rest.

How many of you reading this have at one time or another been afraid to ask for help or assistance? Many of us don’t feel good about asking, and we think is shows a sign of weakness, but nothing further could be from the truth as our podcast (#760)guest author Wayne Baker explains in his new book entitled "All You Have To Do Is Ask – How To Master the Most Important Skills for Success". As Wayne states "You never know what people know - or who they know - until you ask.” In the workplace, asking for help can mean the difference between success and failure. Wayne Mouland – Does the Sound of the Soul Have an Echo?Aired Wednesday, 28 August 2019, 12:00 PM EST / 9:00 AM PSTHe negotiated a price for 4 lives with a promise that ended up saving thousands – Wayne MoulandWayne Mouland was facing years in prison away from his 3 children and that price that was too high for him to accept. He blamed no one else for his situation and took responsibility for his actions but this time it was different. Going back to jail and living a criminal live would no longer be the road he chose. There was no guarantee that this would work, bartering with a God he didn’t know existed??? But anything was worth trying and his commitment to his desire for freedom and another chance was powerful.Wayne prayed. Wayne made promises. And when Wayne was given his second chance he kept those promises, even though he didn’t know HOW that would look, he just knew that he loved and valued his life and he would help others to find their place of peace and connection and meaning too.Founder of the Echo Movement, Wayne’s mission is to help ‘clean up’ peoples lives and the planet, and honour Mother Earth. From rescuing food destined to landfills, feeding thousands each year with Feed It Forward, and putting smiles on children’s faces and in their hearts by surprise backyard playgrounds with Million Dollar Smiles and by once a month having a clean up your world day where people can either come together or run their own team of cleaning up their parks and trails while connecting with others and having fun.One of the threads that runs through all these projects and attracts aligned individuals is RAP Music (Rhythm And Poetry) and Mediation. Meditation is Wayne’s medication and allows him to get to a space where he can hear what his heart, what his soul are wanting to experience. He offers sacred mediations every Monday night on FB live every monday at 9pm EST.Wayne records with multiple artists who share their spoken word to raise awareness, connect with others and to have fun while turning their lives around and continuing along the path of both freedom and love.We get to experience a few of those artists, Niko Sofianos, Tarek Bibi and Kid Fareigna as we hear their music on today’s show as well as a short Meditation created by Wayne especially for Musical Chairs.Join us for this high vibrational show and be inspired to take action on a choice that you’ve made to live a happier life. As Wayne shared, “Our saviour is our behaviour”About Wayne Mouland:Wayne Mouland’s journey began in Cape Breton N.S. where he was born and raised for 18 years before moving to the Big City, Toronto Canada back in 1990. Episode 28 of the Hacker Noon Podcast: An interview with Wayne Chang and Gregory Rocco of Alpine Intel, a new unit within ConsenSys. In this episode Trent Lapinski interviews Wayne Chang and Gregory Rocco from Alpine Intel to discuss bringing blockchain solutions to enterprise companies. “Alpine is a new unit within ConsenSys. We were effectively the cryptoeconomics team at Token Foundry and we found a lot of demand for our services, and basically we want to build these new economies.”—Wayne Chang “What we look to do is engineer value rather than create speculative value. We’re personally not affected by crypto winter. As Wayne mentioned, we’re focused a lot on enterprise too and seeing where the value can be driven in enterprises.” — Gregory Rocco “The combination of a global computer, smart contracts, tokens, all these things are going to help drive the transaction cost down of doing business, and you’re going to unlock new kinds of transactions that are going to form new markets that we couldn’t even imagine before.” — Wayne Chang Production and music by Derek Bernard - https://haberdasherband.com/production Host: Trent Lapinski - https://trentlapinski.com
Wayne Long is life-long car guy whose love for cars started at the early age of 2. He would accompany his family to the SCCA races to support his Uncle who raced a Bug-eye Sprite and later a Fiat OSCA. As Wayne entered the teenage years he quenched his thirst for competition by racing Motocross. By the time Wayne finished college, and started working as a Civil Engineer, he had switched from motorcycles to cars and began Autocrossing. Wayne spent 21 years practicing Engineering before he finally got his opportunity to enter the automotive industry. Opening Mid-Atlantic Sports Cars 10 years ago, Wayne and his childhood friends, Rick and David Biafora, chased their dream. Since becoming a full-time automotive junkie Wayne has become a regular on the national auction circuit buying investment cars for his high-end clients. In addition, Wayne has become a Concours judge supporting events such as the Cortile at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix as well as the Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance and he is the Executive Director of the new Greenbrier Concours d'Elegance.
Wayne is on his own this week as Ken is away from home. Wayne had more car issues, including having to get his truck out of the impound lot. He hosted an early Halloween party, wore a new hat, and couldn't find his massive bottle of latex. At his party he suffered from the inability to get console multiplayer gaming to work. He almost suffers a Joking Hazard, but all in good fun. As Wayne does, he overbooked his weekend and did some photography in the mountains before coming all the way back to town to take photos of zombies and die himself but unfortunately missed out on all the people he wanted to hang out with. In Geek Cred, Wayne is all caught up with Naruto and is waiting for more episodes. As he waits, he has been catching up with the DC content on Netlfix. He is also getting all jazzed for new movies with the release of trrailers for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Logan, and Rogue One. There was also a trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2. Finally, Nintendo has gone ahead and named their new console with the Switch. Wayne is a little confused and skeptical at the moment. Geek-O-Scope covers concern for the voices of all of our gaming characters, while NASA is trying to increase the overall knowledge of the world. GEP Podcast #8 "All success is built on failure. So go fail - screw it up!" -Wayne Hoover For more on how you can get started with photography today, visit: http://www.greatescapepublishing.com/start/photography. Great Escape Radio Episode 8: So Many Roads to Photography Success Great Escape Publishing member, Wayne Hoover didn't set out to become a photographer. In fact, he originally wanted to try travel writing, but a GEP one-day photography workshop set a new career in motion for him. And in the last year, he’s had so much success with his photography business that he returned to a recent Great Escape Publishing photo workshop to present his story on their success panel. As Wayne says… "Remember when you were in kindergarten and they gave you crayons and told you to start coloring. Color anything you want, they said…there's no right or wrong. You were thrilled. But then as you got older they gave you an algebra book, told you to grow up and get prepared to climb the ladder of success. But then when you get to be about 40 or 50, you realize that ladder is on the wrong wall. Someone comes in and says they are replacing you with a 20-something worker - who is cheaper. And you start trying to find a way to get your crayons back." Wayne’s story is motivational for anyone hoping to move away from a 9-5 desk job and start earning an income doing something they love. Wayne and his wife own an interior design business. His wife was frustrated with trying to find quality artwork to complete her interior design projects. So, when a client requested to have his family's life story photographed on a 22 foot wall in his home. Wayne accepted the challenge. He photographed the spot where the client had proposed to his wife, the church they were married in, their son's birth, his high school and many other places of nostalgia. He put the photos on a 2x3 canvas and sold it for $2500. And the rest is history… You can hear more about Wayne's story in this week's broadcast… For more on how you can get started with photography today, visit: http://www.greatescapepublishing.com/start/photography.
It was a long night of gaming for Wayne as he stayed up all night to host an early morning show so that he could be joined by Ken this week before he started traveling for work. If only we could put together a solid show technically... This week we deal with Ken's Mac which means his microphone may or may not work. Ken will try to fix things with money by buying new technology. Thanks to everyone who supports the show. Ken has had an odd couple of weeks including being stalked by an old lady. Wayne avoided the whole valentine's holiday by doing some dancing to piano music, as he is getting ready to try and get back in shape for the year. He is hoping to start eating better and working out more. Ken is prepping himself for a lot of travel time without internets, by acquiring lots of media for his consumption. We will look forward to his reviews. Unfortunately for his gaming offline needs, he picked up Farming Simulator. As Ken starts informing Wayne about his WoW gaming, he almost succeeds in working through Wayne's constitution for staying awake. Ken did manage to watch a couple really good movies in the last couple weeks, including The Martian and Deadpool. Yes you should see them both. As Wayne works to stay awake, he shares stories of his time in the military, when he found the ability to fall asleep standing up, even while marching... Not a good thing. Wayne also shares his adventures at Colorado Anime Fest where he succeeded in both getthing La Camp-Et ouf of her shell with cosplay and in surprising Ken by getting a sound bite from a famous voice actor, just for him. Wayne also manages to wake up to tell his story. Looks like cold air, caffeine, and great conventions are all it takes to keep Wayne going. Wayne continues with hes impressions of the latest open beta of The Division and what it is like to use his Tobii eye tracker with the game.
