In today's Tech3 from Moneycontrol, we look at why India's biggest cities continue to dominate UPI transactions despite the payment system's nationwide reach. We also break down how electric two-wheeler makers Ola Electric and Ather Energy are shifting the conversation from market share to margins, cash flow and profitability. Plus, the government is working on a unified cyber response framework as AI accelerates the speed of cyberattacks. And finally, Indian IT stocks are making a comeback, with investors increasingly viewing AI as a growth opportunity rather than a disruption risk for software and IT services companies.

What do you do when you're on the mission field and the plan you penciled down doesn't work out the way you imagined—when your circumstances are less than ideal? For a lot of missionaries—and honestly, for anyone serious about ministry—trusting God with the unknown is just part of the experience. You don't always get to choose the setting, the timing, or the conditions… but you do get to choose how you respond.Faith has a way of shifting your perspective. Instead of slipping into a “woe is me” mindset, faith gives you the resolve to work with whatever God has put in front of you—even if it's not what you would've picked. Whether it's a living room, a coffee shop, or something completely unexpected, the question isn't whether it's ideal—it's whether you'll be faithful with it.Today we're joined by Kale Horvath, a missionary who has spent just over five years ministering in Budapest. As part of our ongoing series, “The Dilemma of Church Spaces,” he shares the story of how God provided a meeting space for their growing church—an unexpected provision that reminds us how the Lord works through simple faith and a willingness to use whatever He puts in front of us.Visit http://lfbi.org/learnmore

Marc Cox welcomes Todd Piro for a fast-paced, comedic exchange covering everything from backyard pergolas to spring weather confusion and NFL stadium politics. The conversation quickly pivots into a broader discussion about cities losing or retaining major sports franchises, including references to Chicago, Kansas City, and St. Louis, and the political and economic incentives tied to those decisions. Todd and Marc argue that local leadership decisions can drive teams and businesses away, while also sparking a wider ideological debate about urban policy, taxation, and governance philosophies in major cities like New York. The segment closes with commentary on political figures, cultural shifts in schools, and generational change, mixing humor with sharp criticism of progressive urban leadership trends. Then, a UCSD researcher looked at the impact behind this winter's immigration enforcement efforts in Minnesota. Also, we take a look at streetcars and the impact they had in San Diego and if they could make a comeback one day. And, how much money from parking fees do you think the city collected last year at Padres games? Plus, a preview of the San Diego Arab Film Festival.
He made a living as a "part time" hitter that came of the bench and was the back-up first baseman for the Cardinals, Nats, Braves and Rockies. But MATT ADAMS' impact was far greater than a bench player. In a game against the Cincinnati Reds, Matt hit a go-ahead HR in the 14th, and when the Reds tied the game, he hit ANOTHER home run in the 16th, this time to win it. In Game 4 of the 2014 NLDS, Matt took Clayton Kershaw deep to secure the Game 4 victory against the Dodgers, propelling the Cards into the NL Championship. In 2019, in only 310 at bats, Adams hit 20 HR's, which contributed mightily to the Nationals amazing season, which culminated in them winning the World Series. After losing 35 pounds, Big City looks more like a small town, but his stories, and his humor are as big as ever, including some hilarious golf stories. MATT ADAMS makes this truly one of the most entertaining episodes yet of The Approach Shot. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Frank Hurricane is much more that just a songwriter or spiritual soothsayer; he's a psychedelic pirate manning the ancient waters under the splintered sun's biblical breast. Like some cosmic character from J.M. Barrier's 1904 masterpiece "Peter Pan", Hurricane's artistic approach to life and his work are rare these days, as everything has been melted down into this galactic goop for social media, and the poisonous pull that is has on our senses and judgement of people, places, and things. While we're making sure our posts are boosted and targeting our direct audience, you can find Hurricane riding shotgun on some of the most epic roller coasters across America as we take a much-needed spiritual journey with the musician and the colorfully capticating universe of atmospheric adrenaline he has created for an audience that he calls "Shrymps". His latest effort, "Southern Shrymp (In the Big City), which is set for release later this month on the Half Moon Bay, CA-based label Nudie Records, tells a tale of a young man on a quest in search of holy harmonies, exquisite experiences, and the songbook for spiritual survival in a world filled with chaos, and endless existentialism.

This week's Deep Dive tackles chaotic bathroom emergencies, who would survive a Fear‑Factor‑style showdown, the eternal battle between cleaning while guests are over or leaving the mess till later, the shock of moving from a small city to a big one, and even whether turbulence helps people sleep on planes. From stomach‑turning confessions to city‑life culture shocks and strange personal habits, it's a wild mix of oversharing, life rules, and very questionable comfort strategies.
What if building your business in a small town is actually an advantage? In this episode, I sit down with Lauren Mullins, co-founder of Personality Pool, to talk about what startup life really looks like outside of big cities and venture-capital hype. We unpack the real pros and cons of building a company in a smaller community, from cost of living and mental health to networking challenges and unexpected opportunities. Lauren also shares how her own hiring struggles inspired Personality Pool, a video-based screening platform designed to help businesses hire for culture and personality, not just resumes. If you've ever wondered whether you need to move to a big city to grow your business, or how to build something meaningful exactly where you are, this episode will challenge a lot of assumptions. This one's honest, practical, and refreshingly real. ----- Frustrated with your government contracting journey? Join our group coaching community here:

In this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles podcast, host Dan Johnson welcomes Rob Sand, a political candidate and avid hunter, for a unique conversation that blends hunting stories with insights into Iowa's political landscape. The discussion kicks off with a light-hearted banter about hunting gear, particularly the merits of 125 grain broadheads, before transitioning into deeper topics such as the challenges of hunting in urban areas and the importance of conservation efforts in Iowa. Rob shares his experiences with the urban hunting program, detailing the strategies he employs to secure hunting permissions and the thrill of hunting big bucks in suburban settings. As the conversation unfolds, Rob delves into the political aspects of conservation, discussing a significant initiative that aims to allocate tax dollars for public land and water quality improvements in Iowa. He emphasizes the need for bipartisan support and accountability in government, highlighting the disconnect between public opinion and political action. The episode wraps up with Rob's vision for a more inclusive and effective governance that prioritizes the needs of Iowans, particularly in relation to outdoor recreation and environmental stewardship. Takeaways: "I think we should have more choices." "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." "We want better recreation, outdoor recreation opportunities." "It's about bringing people together." "The only thing we really have to look at is beach safety." "I want to take my kids camping, but I need to know the water is safe." "We should be making real efforts to improve water quality." "If you knock on doors, some people say no, but others say yes." "I had never put that much work into one deer before." In this edition of THE INTELLIGENT COMMUNITY: The Soul of the City, Lou speaks with Rachael Cain, Founder of Pick Up Pigeons, a volunteer club with hundreds of participants who nightly during the week scour the five boroughs of New York City picking up volumes of trash and collecting data. The group was recently named "New Yorker of the Week." Rachael is a New York resident, lawyer and urban planner who works on some of the biggest construction projects in America. She also gets very animated and activated by trash. Where does this passion for her community (and its waste) come from? What does it tell us about people, the built environment, the neighborhood, the city, and the ability to activate communities within our Intelligent Communities?
