    "You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great."Procrastination and distraction, in my opinion and experience, are two of the most harmful states of mind we can experience. One keeps us from initiating action and the other interferes when we have taken action. Very often we want to point the finger outside and blame other people or situations. We may have everything generally working for us and then one day we can be blind sided by bad news in any area of our life. The question to ask yourself (ideally now before bad news arrives), is 'what can I do to prepare my for adversity?' Two ways to succeed in the face of adversity are: 1) expecting them, and;2) having a plan of action of how you are going to physically and mentally respond. This will allow you to grow through life's resistances.
