Steve-O (a.k.a. Stephen Glover) was willing to do whatever it took to become famous, even if it meant stapling his ball sack to his leg. After failing miserably at the University of Miami, Steve-O was a homeless couch-surfer for three years before he attended Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, to help further his goal of becoming a famous stuntman. His relentless attention-whoring ultimately led to working with Johnny Knoxville on a stunt-based reality show. The rest is history. MTV aired the first season of JACKASS in 2000. Since then, Steve-O has had continued success, as a New York Times best-selling author with the release of his memoir, 'Professional Idiot', and he has established himself as a force in the world of stand-up comedy. He's thrilled to be releasing his new, profoundly multimedia, and wildly explicit comedy special, direct to his fans at steveo.com. It's called "Gnarly", for good reason. Across his social media platforms, Steve-O has amassed well over 24 million followers and counting, providing an intimate window into his continued antics and colorful life with his fiancée, Lux. He's also got a weekly podcast called Steve-O's Wild Ride! with amazing guests which have included Demi Lovato, Shaquille O'Neal, Ronda Rousey, David Dobrik, Tony Hawk, and more. Steve-O has never stopped being wild and crazy, but he's definitely evolved. He's been clean and sober for over twelve years now, and developed a genuine love for animals (including the four dogs, two cats, and three goats he and Lux have rescued). Steve-O and Lux have plans to start their own animal sanctuary.

• Well, the quickest form of stress relief that I know, without using some kind of tranquilizer, which is the basis of it, is this tapping on these acupuncture points is dramatically lowering our stress, and we have scientific evidence showing that FMRI studies and chemical studies and things like that, showing that stress is lowered. (4:42)• It's not just this thing of how these daily practices make a difference, and so the longer we go between clearing our energy, the more that stuff comes up and gets in the way of us feeling our best, doing our best, and allowing the best. (10:42)• Anyone who's associated with you, and so your energy energy is contagious. The better your energy, whether it's just your mood or your financial well-being or things like that, will have a positive effect on those around you. There's all kinds of great stories of people letting go of physical pain or emotional pain, looking back at painful memories that for years may have caused them distress when it came to mind, and then after some tapping, being able to look at and go. (11:55)• Your dreams are just... I feel like, put on your heart for a reason. It's just God's way of showing you what's possible, and just feeling into it and believing it and believing that it's safe and believing the abundance is your birth right. And I felt pumped, I feel like, oh, incredible. And I feel like some things shifted for me. Tapping Your Way To A Successful Business Is An Unusual Story For Sure My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is with a man who has built a very unusual business, after travelling a very unusual path. He is the author of the best-selling children's book “The Wizard's Wish,” the co-author of the best-seller “Freedom at Your Fingertips,” a featured expert in the film “The Tapping Solution” (along with Jack Canfield, Bob Proctor, Dr. Norman Shealy and Dr. Bruce Lipton), and has been heard internationally on a number of internet radio talk shows. He is an expert in tapping, which is something that I had never heard off until recently, but has many many followers and prctaioners around the world. Tapping, also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), is a powerful holistic healing technique that has been proven to effectively resolve a range of issues, including stress, anxiety, phobias, emotional disorders, chronic pain, addiction, weight control, and limiting beliefs, just to name a few. Tapping therapy is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. Tapping with the fingertips on specific meridian endpoints of the body, while focusing on negative emotions or physical sensations, helps to calm the nervous system, rewire the brain to respond in healthier ways, and restore the body's balance of energy. But this guy isn't just about a history based around medical practices as intriguingly he is also a graduate of Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Clown College, where he was selected to be the emcee and a featured performer in the final show under the “Big Top.” :•) So how did a man go from this point to where he is today, helping people around the world overcome financial issues, heath issues and a wide range of symptoms? And is this something that was obvious to him, or did he fall into it like so many of our other guests who has appeared on the show? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Brad Yates. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Brad Yates such as: Brad shares how 95% of the things that bother us in life will lead to stress, which can be alleviated by practising the tapping technique he teaches. We discuss how he has created a global YouTube following simply by recording a video and then another until there are amazingly 700 plus to view. You have to start somewhere. He recalls how people saw the moment that he left his acting career as a step in the wrong direction. Not many supported him as he began work on his new venture and lastly…. We discuss the abundance that is found in the world today, which allows us all to create similar businesses whilst still creating amazing livings for ourselves. Nothing should stop us starting.
